The quote chine is working!

i can follow the flow of AC back to genesis block  Shocked

there is only 1 Abstract Coin known to exist, it popped out of nowhere! there was no need to mine it.. i just grabbed it and someone confirmed that action.  Cheesy

everyone waiting for some crazy person to buy it back to 131 b4 dumping?

Fun experiment. Can I have a fraction of an abstract coin too?

wachtwoord

|JZARK777| (0.1 AC)Jubalix(0.999AC) -> wachtwoord

Thanks a lot!

As it stands the tx is invalid though you forgot a zero:

|JZARK777| (0.1 AC)Jubalix(0.099AC) -> wachtwoord

would be valid.

yes I see, rejected, hey this a pretty fault redundant system

|JZARK777| (0.1 AC)Jubalix(0.0999AC) -> wachtwoord

Who would have authority (decentralized) to invalidate a previously confirmed but erroneous transaction? peer review? how many peers?

i guess anyone does

if a tx appears to be invalid in anyway, no one is forced to accept it.

its up to the user to make it easy to prove they own some AC, being part of the quote chain is a good start.

when 125 falls its not going to be pretty.

I do not suggest riding out the coming storm in what has to be the craziest AltCoin there ever was Abstract Coin but if you're nuts you can BUY some today!
13708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WTS] 0.0001AC for 0.1BTC on: May 31, 2013, 06:03:53 AM
Its been said that Abstract Coin will do to bitcoin, what bitcoin did to dollars. Cool hehehe

If this coin sells that gives AC a market cap of exactly 1000BTC
AC is highly experimental, you should only invest what you can afford to lose.
13709  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Experiment] Abstract Coin 0.2.0 on: May 31, 2013, 05:48:18 AM
you should set up a twitter account for it

we actually have been thinking about this, could work better, idk, need to think about it...

<? echo 'search warrant!! all accounts seized by the FBI'; ?>
Confirmed.  Cheesy

I suspect that if Abstract Coin gains traction, the bitcointalk.org forum authorities will attempt to kill it by destorying the quote chain  Shocked.
now here this! you can kill the quote chain, but you can never kill the idea!
Abstract Coin FTW!

typical reaction when first looking at this thread
13711  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Experiment] Abstract Coin 0.2.0 on: May 31, 2013, 05:28:50 AM
I have put the first AC coin up for sale over on currency exchange and alts,

the buyer can confirm I guess?

yes your proof of ownership is here killerpotleaf confirmed it

if you sell your coin

you can send it by quoting that confirmed  proof  and saying somthing like " I send 0.xxx coins to  YYYYYYY"  I (or someone else) will confirm it and it will be part of this most retarted quote chain FOREVER! ( or at least as long as this threat exists )
13712  Other / Off-topic / Re: [ANN] Abstract Coin 0.2.0 on: May 31, 2013, 05:21:07 AM
also how you generate / choose the
AC8DG84KD
This is a random code you make up yourself, so you can later use the forums search to find all your transactions

and the (0.400AC)AdamStgBit(0.300AC) ->
is the 0.400AC the whole amount in your wallet?

did i gett he diff between 0.4 and 0.3 AC so I have 0.1 AC?
Thats right you get the difference.

why do you need AdamStgBit and AC?

I guess i don't!

Abstract Coin was invented 2 days ago, it a work in progress...

The basic idea is that I can invent this imaginary coin, and simply saying i give you 0.1 of it makes it so, since we can all see the history of what's been said then we can figure what's what.

On day 1, somone edited their post and claimed that they only sent me 0.001 not 0.05 .... this act killed Abstract Coin 0.1.0

thats when i thought of using a "quote chain" now transactions are independently confirmed by other people so no one can edit their transactions

I think it would be alright to say, all you have to do to send Abstract Coin is first prove you own some ( by quoting the confirmed block thats shows you received coins ), then say wtv amount you want to send and to whom.

Abstract Coin is profoundly CraZy, but i think the basic idea has merit, I'm having fun exploring it, seeing how far i can go with it.

Abstract Coin - an idea worth thinking about.

yes / no
killerpotleaf did it right.

click quote and remove all the other quotes in your quote

like so

|AC8DG84KD| (0.514AC)AdamStgBit(0.400AC) -> Killerpotleaf
Confirmed

that is all the is required, because the quote leads to the previously confirmed block.
13719  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Experiment] Abstract Coin 0.2.0 on: May 31, 2013, 03:04:02 AM
