13741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: October 16, 2015, 03:21:30 PM
This thread can be summarized as this:

It is highly unlikely that you will be profitable in a game where there is a house edge, not impossible, but highly unlikely.

Games with 0 house edge(poker, holdem) it is very possible to be profitable and people actually do this for a living.

Those skill based games are somehow profitable since your output will depend on your skills. Example for poker, luck is still part of the game since you are hoping for a good card combination, but with the right skill you can win even your set of cards is bad.
13742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: October 16, 2015, 03:10:52 PM
At this stage when the bitcoin price is ~$262 i don't think that the price will drop.
Neither for this year, i hope it will reach 300 dollars very soon by this trend.
We should stay Smiley something good is happening Tongue

Im optimistic that it will happen but not that exact $300 but only around that. There is no negative speculation I've been hearing around so maybe chances of getting it to near $300 like in the past months did is possible.

Watch out for more dumpers while the price is kicking.
13743  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: October 16, 2015, 03:06:32 PM

Earn BTC and convert it to the other prospective big currency such as Yuan.
Will try trading on Bitreserve's bitgold later.

Why bother to trade it with other currency. All in all the rates still the same. Bitcoin price always at the rates of USD. There is no BTC to PHP, BTC to Yuan or BTC to other fiat currency.
13744  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: October 16, 2015, 03:01:13 PM
Investing is one way to grow your save money so if there's a chance invest it. Money must rotate and not just stay sleeping in your savings. One good example is lending. I do lend money (not bitcoin) only to my co workers and friends. I gave them small interest but when combined much bigger earnings. Another Im doing too is business. Recently I opened up a loading station. It's better to invest money so your profit is just saved.
13745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: October 16, 2015, 02:52:42 PM
So far using faucets are for my the best way...because I cannot earn with my own systems (lol)
Its not bad idea as I start from these faucets and as I have some good amount of different coins then I started trading on few exchanges now I have nearly 1 btc in my balance in 3 different exchanges

Not really a bad idea if you are new to bitcoin world. In his case he use to rely on faucets since he started here in forum. Im his co-newbie that days. Now he has setup an investment game thru his mining operation but got negative trust for it. Well I hope he can quiet prove that his investment game can give profit to his investors.
13746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you play loteries ,did you won something on: October 16, 2015, 01:38:45 PM
lotteries are the worst type of gambling imo just because the chances of winning is so low. other gambling types like dice is just way simpler and a much better chance of winning. I've never won a lottery in my life and dont think i ever will.

There are quiet numbers of people who become rich in lottery here in our country so I say it's much better to play there sometimes rather than playing dice for a long term. Tired + lossing.

Of course chances are low. If chances are high then everyday there is a millionaire here. Cheesy

Yes play im loteries here in my country. I just won two times in 3 digit lotery.I won around 0.1 -0.5 btc. I just trying too bet in 6 digit lotery and still dont win in 6 digit local lotery.Maybe next time i will win the jackpot price...

I played those 2 digits sometimes and won around 0.2btc many times. Smiley 6 digits is worse. Only got the lower prices sometimes.
13747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Free Betting Tips on: October 16, 2015, 01:33:55 PM
Still 11 days for normal season huh? I'm gonna play more pre-season games with small bets then. Cheesy

Yeah Im still waiting for some minor or major changes before placing my analyzations and forecast. Like the recent injury update from Bulls. It will all affect my final predictions and forecast.

I will be watching this thread since everything I bet on loses. The last 2 bets I made on football amounted to draws on both occasions some I'm looking forward to your tips to make me rich again  Cheesy

I just want to remind that I will only picking those possible to team to win (moneyline) and the way you will do your betting type is up to you.
13748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the commercial banks must hate bitcoin? on: October 16, 2015, 01:29:42 PM
IMO..

Actually "hate" is not the right term or should I say "hate" my vary per country. I think most banks preferred fiat than virtual currency. My girl works in one of the top banks here in our country and all of them don't know anything about bitcoin. Even there bosses there. But when bitcoin truly develops here and just a one called from our Central Bank with all details and much clearer point of risk I think bitcoin won't hate that much by some banks here and will accepts it.

I just don't like the way our Central Banks issued it's first statement regarding bitcoin.

Quote
On 6 March 2014, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) issued a statement on risks associated with bitcoin trading and usage. Bitcoin exchanges are not regulated by BSP at the moment. BSP will be monitoring the possibility of bitcoin usage in money laundering and other illegal purposes.

Still no statement until now. Much better then lol.

13752  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: October 15, 2015, 02:43:37 PM
Another thing I see that will motivate women to use bitcoin if travel agencies began accepting bitcoin for payment.

Womens in mid-age nowdays especially here in our country always want to do an out of town, road trip, vacation or just for thrilling adventure not occassionally but almost regularly.

If travel agencies and promo booking will include bitcoin as payment option then somehow it's a start. Smiley
13753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: October 15, 2015, 02:27:30 PM
But experience is more important at the other type of gambling. Like poker or sport bets.

Experience in poker is really a factor when you are playing since there are many scenarios that you will only discover in-game.

Sports betting doesn't really need experience since everyone can just look for game analyzations or will just ride the wave based on speculation and fearless forecast but can also be a factor too especially if one is betting in his favorite type of sports.

But to predict some bets need an experience. If you do not know anything about sports or teams which you try to bet, you can not predict anything. So you just only listen speculations. Maybe these speculations can be wrong. If you have experience about these speculations too, you can precit what will happen in the game.

There are sports bettors especially those bettors in some popular international event like when NBA FINALS starts, FIBA Asia or Championship in our Local Basketball League etc. who just placing there bet with only speculation and sometimes for showing some support in their team. Not all sports bettors are well experienced. Some are just riding the wave (like in our local thread where I placed bet for our local league, others try it without experience) and hope their beginner's luck will gain them profit.
13754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you play loteries ,did you won something on: October 15, 2015, 02:14:31 PM
Still betting in our countries local lotteries I think for 4 times a month. I managed to win somehow for the lowest price which is the same price of the ticket. Who knows even for a low chance that my extra money can win big jackpot someday. Smiley
13755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: October 15, 2015, 02:08:45 PM
I gamble to grow my bitcoin although it is risky but to earn more need to take some risk.Sometimes loose and other times win this is and set some limit to stop whenever reach to your goal. This is my method of growing bitcoins.

Good thing your coins grow thru gambling. You are exceptional then.

Look like you don't get trouble reaching that "goal" whenever you do gambling. Goodluck to you and hope luck will always @ you.

13756  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next target: 260-270 on: October 15, 2015, 02:06:32 PM
Before oct,30 I think it will hit the price 265$-280$. We nned to trust and dont miss it. then before dec it will jump in the price of 290-320...Thats my speculation..

seeing anything above $300 takes a lot time and there will be numerous attempts to let it not reach the $300 level. there is simply not enough demand for $300 this year.

Rumors always there even without basis.

Seeing bitcoin price @ $300 mark will really takes time but somehow good to expect since majority (at least) of bitcoin users wants this to happen.

13758  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: October 15, 2015, 01:58:54 PM
save money by first prioritizing what is needed and put away those wanted things on your mind
and focus to fulfill those what you really need. Also learn to reuse it will save you some money

This is a basic one but others can't follow this sometimes even me back in my fun days lol.

Needs is different from like and wants. When I faced some urgent needs and emergencies in the past that is the only time I realized that I must saved money so when the time comes that I really need it, it's just there. Right now somehow I managed to make some savings now from my salary and much more savings since I encountered bitcoin this year.
13759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN the PORN and GAMBLING future? on: October 15, 2015, 01:13:44 PM
This really shows that some activities on other side of the web somehow really help Bitcoin to become popular to others. This is normal. Bitcoin is money. All action that involved in money including illegal, deep web activities and so on will be part of Bitcoin too.
13760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: October 15, 2015, 01:07:10 PM
We should not leave Bitcoin even if prices drop.
Bitcoin's acceptancy will keep grow, feel secure.

There should be at least limit of price drop. Don't just trust Bitcoins. Trust all the factors that can move Bitcoin prices. For example if Bitcoin price will drop to let's say $10 or $2 as an example stated above. Do you think the factors of it that's why it reached that mark will not be taken seriously by some miners or individuals? It will taken seriously starting from $100 like the one poster says.

Yes, but this will never happen. I can see no reasons for such drop in price of BTC. Of course we may speculate about it just for fun but seriuosly it's like speculating about what would happen if the US dollar will be cheaper than the Russian rouble. )

LOL at this. I like your positive strong faith in Bitcoin. Keep it up Smiley But....

You said the word "will never happen" because you can see no reasons,,,,for now. We should consider every possible scenario that will happen bitcoin including if the price will land @ $100usd mark. This is possible. Faith on bitcoin alone isn't enough to keep the price up.
