1381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT could grow 35% by 2027 on: May 12, 2022, 07:16:37 PM
To be honest, to this day I personally have not found any interest in NFT,
Well, you are not alone with that and if you will look around you, almost all people will say the same thing. For us, we are already contented on what the standard crypto has to offer and there is no need for more new additions in this space. The more those inventors think it will help, the more the crimes are happening. It only helps the reputation of crypto to go down.

even though in the future there will be price potential, but that's impossible, people will get bored
Maybe for some good quality nft's they have a chance to pump but that still can take a long time and before that happens, those who invest of those nft have already sold their nft's earlier because like you said, they got bored waiting. I think those people that invest on nft are only after the profit and not the idea behind it. They aren't like us crypto investors that have a faith on our coins because we believe on it's technology.
1382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PROS AND CONS OF CRRYPTOGAMBLING. on: May 12, 2022, 03:39:39 PM
Let’s talk about the cons:
Ofcourse, there is a fly in any honey pot. Playing at an online crypto casino has some disadvantages that are worth thinking about, too.
Firstly, crypto-gambling is never a stable source of profit because anything can happen(loss) .
Not crypto gambling but gambling in general. Crypto plus gambling when combined becomes very risky because gambling is already unstable but cryptos are more volatile. When you lose, you don't just lose, but you can be able to lose more. Other disadvantage is that crypto is hard to use for someone that is starting, he can lose his coins in the process of transferring it. Delays are also there if the network is heavily congested.

It is decentralized
There are decentralized types of crypto gambling but they are rarely being used now. It was like the more cryptos become well known, the more centralized entities are becoming successful. The same thing happens with crypto exchanges. Before, when cryptos are starting, we only have decentralized exchange but like crypto gambling, cex starts to dominate them.
1383  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin? on: May 11, 2022, 08:52:34 PM
Someday the price for bitcoin will reach $ 100k+, this is how this system works thanks to halving and limited emission.

In my opinion, bitcoin approval is slightly exaggerated and it is now only in the initial stages. BTC still have to overcome many difficulties and obstacles. But I don't think that bitcoin can be forgotten, because this phenomenon has already had a very strong impact in the world.

I think the situation with bitcon will be approximately identical to what it was in previous years: price drops on corrections and ups after halving (traditionally with some delay).
The credit will still go the investors because without them those other factors that you said are going to be nothing. People always believe that halving can increase the price, idk if this is true but maybe the reason why price will increase is because many people are going to buy more bitcoins in preparation to the halving event.

Is limited emission you mean, btc mining will become more greener? If that is then it can also magnet investors, big investors like Elon Musk because Elon wants this to happen long time ago. Obviously the price will always drops whenever there is a correction but prices can recover again even without halving.

Some like a thread that show all the winner of major events like, big Poker tournaments, Predictions pools.

You can see all the winners of the tournaments or best positioning in one post. And also this can work like a "trust" tabble to who is speaking in any thread, like ohhh see he is the winner of X competition.

Example:

Top 3 of BETNOMI POKER SERIES.
Top 3 of Sportsbet Predictions POOL
I don't think this is necessarily needed but you can just browse their respective announcement threads because they will always post the usernames of those who win. If a user likes to read and has an interest on different kinds of gambling then he will surely know if who are the users on this forum that are good at gambling.

Also on this section (gambling discussion) there is one thread here before where the op lists the best gamblers on the forum, like for example this user here is good at slots and this other user is good at boxing and so on. I am doing a back reading at the moment of writing but I can't seem to find that thread, sad Sad.
1385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 10, 2022, 09:03:46 PM
Life has become so hectic nowadays. We are having hardly any free time. I am staying far away from my hometown for the purpose of work, and haven't seen many of my close friends and relatives for many years. Whenever I have some free time, I try to be with my family, or travel to my hometown. Two decades ago, during school/college days I had enough spare time to watch or play cricket. But now this has also changed. Today's kids are overburdened with studies and extra-curricular activities, and they don't have much spare time. Even if they get some spare time, they spend it on mobile or Xbox.
Agree with you this statement because now I am also facing this same living away from hometown and having no contact with friends and many family members for years is very common thing in our life, but sadly we have to do this for some better life as day by day it's going harder.

In our school days good time to spend with friends and playing cricket and other games in streets were very common but now all happening on social media accounts and no one is having time for meet up which is big concern as I was checking our kids are also day by day going very lazy just because of this new technology and surely next generation is going to have some more hectic life because now things are changing very quickly, and we are losing human touch.
1386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 10, 2022, 06:40:55 PM
I don't think that a transfer of Haaland to FC Barcelona is realistic at all. Barcelona has 1,3 Billion € worth of debts and even though they have proven time and time again that they can not really handle money but even they should responsible enough to not pay more than 300 M€ for the whole Haaland package which also includes 30 M€ that Haalands father is demanding just for his son to sign to a new club, absolutely ridiculous. Barcelona can just not afford to make such a transfer and if they would really try to sign Haaland i would hope that the authorities step in to prevent that. In the end they have 1,3 Billion € of debts which means they owe that money to somebody else and they should not make big transfer until they have payed most of that money back.
There was speculation that Haaland is going to FC Barcelona but clubs president announces about this all few months back they can't afford this even they are selling few players those having very high wages so after this there was another rumor he is going Real Madrid, but this deal also not happened, so now he is going to Manchester City which is affordable for him and club both because Manchester City is financially in better condition they were looking for Kane but this not happened, so now they have another very exciting and promising young player which can give good strength to this club.

Even it's not easy to play under Pep Guardiola, but we can hope he will perform good, and they achieve their targets for next season.
1387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am curious about bounties on: May 10, 2022, 01:51:19 PM
If the project is honest, it does not matter who holds rewards, manager or project. Project will distribute rewards as promised. If the project is shady, escrow funds wont help. I took a part in a bounty with reputed manager, he held bounty reward. When bounty has ended, project locked contract and escrowed tokens became untransferable. Also I was in a situation, when manager escrowed rewards, but the project did not send him funds for distribution. This all ended with waiting for distribution funds. Project can always create another contract and issue new tokens, making escrowed bounty reward useless.
What you said there is true. I tried to join on some bounty before and they also don't use an escrow but thankfully they didn't turned into a scam and still manage to pay us. Putting the money in escrow or to a manager is also not guaranteed that anyone can get paid, not because the tokens are locked but because both of them can also turn into a scam.

We have several cases of that before, in this forum. Going back again to the tokens that are locked, I noticed that many projects are now like this lately. Is this a new way to scam? I hope all the scammers gets their bad karma. All new projects should only pay cryptos that are on the top 5 or 10, that is to minimize scams.
1388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 09, 2022, 09:02:16 PM
The reason why I am in favor of cricket's inclusion in Olympics is because being an Olympic sport would mean that countries such as China and Russia will allot more government funds to local cricket bodies. Right now, lower ranking (i.e those with native players) associate nations receive around $10,000 in annual funds from the ICC. The availability of funds can increase by 20x or 40x, if cricket becomes an Olympic sport. And I don't have any issue if Olympic cricket becomes a U-23 tournament. Even U-19 is fine with me.
I agree with you this idea because this is going to be very good for many associate countries and then surely we can adopt some policy which helps native players to join their teams instead of having players from other countries like right now we have in many teams. Here we can go like Soccer which allow U-23 teams for Olympics, so ICC also can implement law like this which could bring some good interest for many youths, and we can watch some very entertaining cricket from these youths.

But for this all foremost we have to send these all suggestions to ICC and relative peoples which is never been easy task, but hopefully something good will happen for this great game of cricket.
1389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be Cautious and take Caution. on: May 09, 2022, 03:53:15 PM
With the recent Russia/Ukraine invasion, the Ukrainians asked for help accepting bitcoin and other form of donations.
Having know, Scammers are taking chance of this moment to invade as well, it's best someone we all be guided and not fall as victims to this.
Five minutes of your time can lead to an hour, please be guided in this times.
You could share to your pals, I felt I should share this. People are lossing funds!! I'm no expert at privacy of coins buh take caution and be Cautious.
The fact that Ukraine has shared their own donation wallet addresses is more than enough to be careful. I mean if you are donating, do not donate to third parties, they have shared their official wallet addresses for the government itself, just send your money there and you will be doing fine work.

This is also proving that crypt community is a better community than wall street one. At wall street they put in money and try to turn that money into bigger amounts of money, same goes on here in crypto world as well. The difference is that while wall street guys take more risks and then spend tax payers money to get bailed out, the crypto community actually pays back to the community and makes the world a better place.
1390  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stability of bitcoin on: May 09, 2022, 10:58:06 AM
What will be the faith of bitcoin users if the value of bitcoin becomes stable in May 2022, a lot of prediction has been made in recent years on the rising and falling of bitcoin?
Must there be a rising and falling of crypto before the market can work effectively
This question looks so serious but at the same time I find it funny Cheesy. Nothing bad will happen to us if bitcoin becomes stable, don't worry. People only worry when price starts to dip. Your question are only good for the month of may so 1 month of waiting isn't going to be that long and after that, the price will start moving again.

I don't think there are people that will lose their patience and sell in that short period of time but yes there are a lot of predictions that have been made before. That is expected because the price of cryptos still moves on its own despite being manipulated by some whales but I think the market can work effectively even if there's no up and down.
1391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Price of Litecoin 2022? on: May 09, 2022, 08:10:23 AM
Currently Litecoin is developing into one of the largest cryptocurrencies in the world.  Partly due to partnerships with a number of large companies and Litecoin's social acceptance, the future of Litecoin looks very bright.  These two factors also ensure that the Litecoin price prediction for 2022 can be called very good.  The price goes up as more and more people invest in this crypto.
What? developing into Largest cryptocurrency in the world?  have you forgot that Litecoin once to be a Biggest currency ? it is a ranking 3rd back in 2017 and that is a huge start but what happened now? Litecoin fell bad and now stays in lowering value ranking at 22?  if you can still trust that there is something good happening in the future then its yours but don't try luring people to expect high when it is far from reality to happen.
Just because it doesn't look great right now doesn't mean that it will look bad in the future neither. It just means that there is a temporary situation going on and nothing major about it in the news. I am not really feeling anything about it becoming one of the biggest, but I also do not think that it will stay where it is right now, it will get better from this.

You have nothing right now that supports this idea and that is why I understand why you may not believe it, but the reality is that we are talking about the future and the past together. We have seen plenty of coins in the top 10 that went away and litecoin got removed from top 10 on each time, and replaced them when they went down. When the current top 10 goes low, litecoin will take the place again.
1392  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Potential to Drop in the $32k Area on: May 08, 2022, 09:51:03 PM
How did you know? Sure it falls from over 40k down to this current price we see right now which is 36,xxx.xx k (at this moment of writing) But, I don't think this will continue to what you guys are expecting as that price is too much low already. We are supposed to experience the opposite thing right now or the pumps and not the dumps.

What information do you mean? Is the news included to this? But, what if there are positive news that will come out? Will it still won't affect the decision of btc? Speculations are always there and you don't need to wait for the value to drop more if you want to hear them out. You can just look around you.
I agree that we are already pretty low, we were 48k just recently as we all remember, and then we crashed so hard already from that level. From 48k to as low as 34-35 levels at the bottom, now that we are recovering a bit, I have to say that it is not really that much of a trouble for us to recover and go back to 40k+ for the time being. I know that it is not going to be that easy, but it shouldn't be that difficult neither.

I believe that recovery should be coming very soon, maybe not in a minute or two, but it should be somewhere close and I would guess that in May, or maybe early June, we should be getting that 40k+ price, and before the year ends, we will probably see 50k+ happen again.
1393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC cycles and super cycles on: May 08, 2022, 09:33:59 PM
As long as I have already been in this industry, I still cannot fully predict the market's direction in a larger scale. Even with all the indicators out there and waiting for several confirmations, most predictions still do not go the way I thought they would. Specially when sudden economical issues occur or some massively influential person or group of people makes a statement or rumors that are either positive or negative towards bitcoin or any crypto out there. And depending on the intensity of the news or rumor the market price moves accordingly up or down. Would be better off just doing small scalps on leveraged trades or hold a comfortable amount on spot then just DCA when price goes below buy range than cracking my head up trying to make sense with the cycles that doesn't really have a certain direction.
If you are losing money even after being here for many years, maybe you should look at the past instead of trying to predict the future. Just try to learn where you did wrong, what you assumed would happen, why you assumed that, what did you base that assumption on and then just make sure that you do not make that same mistake again.

So, there is a thing that you are failing, and the best way to stop failing at that would be to spend time on learning why you failed in the past, instead of trying to be better at it next time directly. This is of course just an advice, maybe you could get better overtime as well even if you do not follow my suggestion.
1394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler turns 60 pence bet into £157,865.59 on: May 08, 2022, 09:12:26 PM
How can you explain such fortunate winning happening for real? It looks unlikely and unrealistic even for a Hollywood movie script!
Its really impressive. This person might often bet and so because of his knowledge and experience, he managed to predict the results. Its not easy to predict 1 or 2, but he did it with 16? Thats really unbelievable.

Its not impossible to happen in reality, but its rare to witness for a  very lucky person.
It is truly impressive but only if it's real. Sports betting mostly relies in knowledge and experience. It can be that the guy is a long term bettor on this scene and he already mastered the way sports betting works. That increases his chance to win. Predicting 1 to 2 matches is still easy to predict IMO and even 3 to 5 matches are still highly possible but higher than that is already a pain in the ass.

You need lady luck to stay beside you to be able to pull off a successful win. This guy did predict all 16 bets correctly which was insane. I think a moment like this only happens once in a lifetime and he might not be able to do that again so must spend his winnings wisely.
1395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am curious about bounties on: May 08, 2022, 08:51:33 PM
I am looking to try out a bounty campaign using signature but I don't see anyone worth my time right now, I do have a question about this, does it make more sense to promote projects that are already trading over those that are not listed on exchange yet? I see so many that aren't listed like whsiperMSG, Valore, Elysian Finance, they don't look like they will be hitting an exchange any time soon.

What and what makes you promote a project?.
That's impossible, I mean there are so many bounties that are being released every day and I think there are few that are gems but you won't know it because you only believe on your instincts without backing it by research but if you are lazy to do so, you can use the trusted managers are a sign to join a bounty because trusted managers usually go for legit and good projects at most times.

You think it doesn't make sense to do a promotion when the project is already listed but isn't that great? They are giving you an opportunity to earn and it's not already your problem if they burn money by doing promotions. It is also safer to join a bounty which coin is already on exchanges.

Education is not a problem because all of em are highly educated individuals but problem is they lack empathy and decency.

I'm reading too much comment here about Shahid Afridi and i would like to remind that he's the same guy who used to beat the shit out of his girls because he found them playing cricket and imitating hindi tv serial. Now it's up to pakis if they want such individual in the politics or not. IMO this kind of personality deserve mental asylum or jail.
We call this is as mind set, and he is not alone in this class we have very big community those are still doing things like this in Frontier Areas because they are completely out of this world men are having many options, but sadly they are not allowing women's for anything like this and if someone tried to do or having any thoughts for their own sack no recovery for this person just end of his life or run away from this country and live into Europe or America even now you are not safe in these areas because recently we have many cases which are creating big threats and these respective countries are unable to do any good thing.

Class gape is also widening even now mobile and cable is having some impact, but we still need some long time for more changes and improvement in life of women's from these areas.
1397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 08, 2022, 01:11:10 PM
You looks losing bigger fund on crypto gambling but right now still active or have stop yet on casino gambling, I ever loss on gambling but still not really bigger funds and have top totally right now what ever reason I don't try back to gambling casino again. I think not good with waste all salary for gambling and better if can't leave casino gambling yet could use few fund for gambling only after 70% until 80% salary saving for daily day needed. But depending when you still single easy for wasting all money for gambling but after have family and kids you will think one more all in on gambling.
He's an active gambler and losing $5K for 8-9 years is considered as small amount to be honest, someone can lose bigger than for a day. The thing is $5K at that time is 10 BTC and now 10 BTC with the current price is really high amount. It's not about gambling, but he's not holding his Bitcoin until now, same as many people sold their Bitcoin on 10 years ago. If someone worried to lose money on gambling, better to not gamble anything. However I don't understand why you promoting gambling but you're want to stay away from gambling.
Maybe not active in a sense that he plays every single day straight for 8 to 9 years because indeed the amount of 5k spent during that span of time is still pretty cheap. A true active gambler can spend more than that even if not 8 or 9 years but only for just a few months. Can you imagine that?

And no, I am not only talking about the rich gamblers but poor gamblers are in fact more hungry towards earning a profit on gambling and they can always borrow money for the sake of their entertainment and yes, that's their definition of entertainment, to seek for profits, not someone that just play small and don't expect any win at the end of the day.
1398  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: May 07, 2022, 09:58:09 PM
Even a dialogue like this won't have much impact because there really isn't anything we can do now to hinder or stop their Invasion.
At the moment nothing can be expected of anything because indeed when sanctions are useless then one of the last hopes is to hope they stop this voluntarily although this is indeed very difficult to happen
I think what they mean by dialogue is when two countries talk to each other and not the kind of dialogue that is happening on this thread. Maybe they have tried talking to each other already but it didn't work out well so the other country have nothing to do but started a war. We that are only regular individuals can't do much to stop the war but some of us are still finding a way to help at least, that is why we have this boycott thing.

Like sanctions, boycots doesn't have the ability to stop the war but it can only help weaken Russia. For some that are against Russia, that's better than nothing but there are some that won't support this act for some reasons.
1399  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive income : Bank interest vs staking on: May 07, 2022, 09:31:51 PM
65% is actually high for a yearly interest but I've seen quite good projects that have almost the same rates. But the risk with that is you don't know if the same value will be made after a year or even half or a quarter of your stake.
What's better on staking is if you choose the flexible terms, you can get it anytime. The same with the banks, before it's hard to find those terms that are flexible but right now, I've been seeing offers that have flexible terms.
The "good" rate depends on the risk you are taking though. I mean yes 65% is great if we were talking about USD here, but when we are talking about cake, it could drop in price so much that maybe it will be 2 dollars next year by the time you get your 65% and you will be not so much in profit? Who knows what's going to happen, and that is why I believe that the higher rate of staking returns in crypto is because people do not have the same trust to it as they do with fiat.

I trust crypto even more, and that is why I am fine with staking and it is 100x better than bank interest, but at the end of the day I know my limits and won't put all of my money in it.
1400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you really believe Satoshi is real?? on: May 07, 2022, 08:44:49 PM
It is true that we should be grateful to him because with his innovation we can get to know Bitcoin as it is today. I don't think we need to argue about trivial things, like continuing to argue about who Satoshi really is? Or whatever it is. Because if we know Dan feels his work it means he really exists. Be it a boy, a girl, an organization or something else, let him hide his identity if it makes him feel comfortable and safe with him. Most importantly we thank him for how we feel right now, I think it will make him happy.
I owe my entire life to him. Without crypto, I would have been a mere minimum wage worker who barely survived, probably didn't even survive that easily, would probably have ton of debt, and be basically financially in terrible situation. Whereas, thanks to satoshi and bitcoin, I now paid almost all of my debts, paid all my families debts give or take as well, the last one ends in June and I will be out of debt forever.

Maybe that is not something special to you guys but in reality that is something that is quite rare in my nation, being without debt means you are "rich" in my nation, I know that sounds unreal to some people from rich nations but that is true here.
