Truly amazing (/sarcasm) how the same people who were spreading fud in here weeks even months ago suddenly come right back at the sign of some really positive news (android wallet).. You would think people would have something better to do than literally wait and follow a coin's thread for extended periods of time, contributing to it in no way, only so that they can bring negativity back into it at the first sign of good news.

For what, fun?

it's because btc is on the rise and btc holders think alt coins are taking money from btc

it happens every time btc rises a bit

probably the same dude with multiple sock puppets
I was just stating the obvious as to why mint has been on a steady decline sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings. I bought in at 5 sat when the coin was brand new and sold at 50 during the P&D. I'm still holding a small amount 3mill just waiting for another P&D which from the looks of it may never happen. I was naive and thought maybe from the pressure the dev would disclose some info on his premine which never happened because I'm pretty sure that was dumped during the P&D.
1382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT]Mintcoin V1.9.1, Energy Saving Coin *27 Exchanges *57 Merchants on: May 31, 2014, 12:52:58 AM

Paspi, do you do Android apps on a regular basis?

I was just doing the math, and figured with a 5,000,000 Coin bounty for the Android Wallet, figuring you've probably put in the neighborhood of 40 + hours (probably way too low as it has been months now), you're working for less than $3.00 US an hour.

If that is your going rate, I can throw some work your way.

Let me know.

When he started MINT was much higher.

And you expecting him to work for you for less than $3 per hour is an insult, that's why I deduce you must be a real douchebag.

Well possibly he negotiated a set price when Mint was at a higher price.

I never asked him to work for less than what he is apparently working for based on the numbers.

English is obviously not your first language so I'll forgive you for not understanding.

Having said that, I've been called worse by a lot better than you. Since name calling is usually a last resort for a small mind, I'll not resort to your tactics.

You do know that a lot of work on open source software is done for free, by passionate and committed people, right douchebag??  Tongue

Yes, which is not the case here as he's getting paid, at a rate somewhere less than $3.00 an hour.

Surely from a 700,000,000 pre-mine the developer could ante up some more? After all the stated purpose of the premine was for development, if the Android wallet doesn't fall under the category of development I'm not sure what does.

Community members contributed to the bounty as a show of support - yes, there are people here willing to do that. Maybe you would like it if the developers stop whatever they are doing and provide some exhaustive audit of their expenses for your passing curiosity, but there is more important work to be done in the meantime, and that's what it is, work, for which you are offering nothing in return.

I'm an investor. My money is what I've put in.
The developer has been rewarded to the tune of 700,000,000 Mintcoin. I expect them to do the work. Isn't that why they received the 700,000,000?

I'm sure the community would love to do an audit of the developers accounts and see what's been dumped and see what's been spent on development.

Apologists for the developers. Hilarious.

They all overlook the ridiculous premine and then wonder why is the price crashing? Mint should be higher than it is? Lmao! No coin with such a ridiculous premine that the dev isn't disclosing any info on will succeed. Mint is slowly approaching the bottom which will be 1 sat soon

So is love dead? Is it being traded on an exchange?

Wish I wouldn't have bought back into mint. It's future doesn't seem so bright the trend has been nothing but downward for the past few months. A few months back a few people were screaming I'm not selling my mint till it hits 100 sat 1 person inparticular that I can remember lol good luck with that it seems all that's going on in the exchanges is a bunch of dumping. I hate to talk negative especially because this is one of the coins of I've loved since I stumbled across it. I'd just like an explanation as to why people believe mint will have a good future because as I said right now it isn't looking so good.

I have had 0 luck finding these. Can an expert here help me to find these or find something that will work to replace these? I can't believe I'm the only person here who had a problem with them getting hot and breaking.... These are 2 seperate pods and both chips look the same like the got hot and cracked Huh
[/quote]

U29 is a "dual unbuffered inverter"  http://www.nxp.com/products/logic/buffers_inverters_drivers/series/74HC2GU04.html - see the ordering tab on that same page

I posted that back on May 14, have you tried that link and through the Order tab?  If so you should have seen that Mouser carries that part (direct link: http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/NXP-Semiconductors/74HC2GU04GW125/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMutVWjHE%2fYQwzJv2zzn7Nf7MNFQIOCd6fU%3d)

That at least gets you one part.  I'll try to see if I can locate the other (not likely since UPI is almost exclusively overseas) or see if I can find a close match as a replacement.
[/quote]

Ahhh ok yeah I can order that part.... Also I need that k3 ocv 1500 2.5v capacitor as well. But trying to find it on mouser is a pain cause I don't know what type of cap it is lol I know I'm a noob I can solder and des older just can't tell you what these parts actually are or do :-/
1386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BETARIGS.COM - Cryptocurrency cloud mining - thousands of rigs available! on: May 17, 2014, 03:12:51 AM
MUX or NYD

I am fucking sick of these renters lying about performance and leaving bad reviews. Even after I provide screens shots, logs I hear nothing back from them except a bad review afterwords.

I have filed tickets about this in the past and provided ample evidence. Betarigs's can see for themselves the renters are lying, yet they leave these fraudulent reviews and you refuse to remove them?!?!

WHY ARE THESE LYING REVIEWS NOT REMOVED?

What are you two going to do about it!!!

These graphs are causing a nightmare. I have had nothing but complaints and questions since they were put in effect. I even had a graph display garbage with a vertical scale of 1000gh/s (for a 66mhs rig). Luckily I contacted the renter before they freaked out.

I have another rig owner renting my rig and leaving a false review? Clearly there is no conflict of interest there. Should I rent his rig and lie about it to even the score?
i had the same problem.
check my posts here explaining how i made their plans fail: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=434464.msg6317138#msg6317138

I've just had 2 more complain about the hash rate. Renters are using shitty pools and expecting a 3 hour average to be over my actual hash rate.

I'm renting 64mhs and this wasn't acceptable to the renter. Look at the massive drops

Or this shit

This average hash rate is horseshit. I had one rental with an average of 50mhs on a 64mhs setup. Am I supposed to eat the difference? They are now expecting more hash rate for less money, which means i need to down rate my rig 15-20% to make up for these retards.  I might as well mine for myself if I need to give up the rental premium.
Same shit has been happening to me too ! I just tell em I can't control the pool your using. It's quite obvious by looking at the charts your showing it's the pool side.

I've also noticed that when the time is up the chart still goes for a little while which in turn brings the average hashrate down because obviously the hashrate is 0 because mining was over lol I had a guy leave me a 4/10 rating because the hashrate dropped after his time was up the average went from ~5.1 to ~4.6
1387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AC] AsiaCoin | Back on all Exchanges | Premine Voided | Multipool Ready on: May 17, 2014, 03:09:27 AM
All right, im a bit puzzled about how HashCows works. Ive been mining there all day long.
My account balance is 0, with no coins or credit that I can find. It shows a decent hash rate with a few rejects, but I can't see that im actually earning anything for my mining power. I looked under "Account Ledger" and "Balances and Cashout", but it's empty.
Is this a legit site or am I missing somthing?

Hashcows is legit it just takes time before you will see a balance

thanks for the reply they look like IC chips but I cant seem to find where to buy them anywhere.

U29 is a "dual unbuffered inverter"  http://www.nxp.com/products/logic/buffers_inverters_drivers/series/74HC2GU04.html - see the ordering tab on that same page

U9 is a low dropout regulater from UPI Semiconductor.  http://www.upi-semi.com/product/ProductInfo.aspx?ProductID=156  I couldn't find anyplace to directly order this one in the quick couple minutes I searched it, but if you can't find it, chances are TI or Fairchild or STI have something that will match the specs nearly exactly.

How did they break?

they all have the 49.9k mod and they stopped accepting shares so i resoldered the 49.9k resistor thinking that i had a bad connection or something and when i plugged it in same thing it wasnt working so i took a closer look it looks like the chips got hot then started to break apart? not really sure but 3 of my gridseeds are down because of this. one of them the 1500uf 2.5v capacitor the black plastic base is melted.

Hello everyone,

I'm sorry, but I have to get this off my chest and say what has to be said. People involved with Mintcoin and the Mintcoin fund have gone out of their way to do whatever is needed to help this community and this coin gain the recognition and acceptance it deserves. People have put in countless hours of their time, spent hard earned fiat currency all in the name of Mintcoin.

Mintcoin has a Social Media reach of 952 people on Reddit, 1086 on Facebook and 557 on MintcoinTalk as well as all the people that frequent this forum as well. I'm not sure how exactly to check Mintcoins reach on Twitter, but I know there is a fair number there as well. Out of all these people, only 72 have actually taken the time and effort to show their support for the Sonoma County Redwood Reforestation Thunderclap campaign.

Why is this? Is your life so busy that you can't take a mere minute of your time and actually visit the site and click through it so that your "ACTUALLY" supporting it? This truly bothers me a lot, as so many of you come here each and every day asking why Mintcoin is not rising in price, well it's because so many of you are not actually being a part of this community and actually helping Mintcoin and the Mintcoin Fund the needed exposure that is needed to obtain the higher values.

If you would only take a small amount of your time to visit the Thunderclap site and actually click the links so that you are actually supporting this cause, this would help out you, as well as Mintcoin and the Mintcoin Fund, and everyone else holding Mintcoins.

Here's the link again....NOW TAKE THE TIME AND DO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE....

https://www.thunderclap.it/projects/10998-sonoma-county-redwood-reforest?locale=enHello

Thats so true.
But something is happening.
Just 16 people left!!! And 16 hours left!!!
Cheers everybody
I did it a few days back. I'd do it again if I could!  Grin
i just did it with twitter and facebook
