So if you get 42 coin do you constantly have to trade in infinitesimal fractions?
Take the reciprocal and you can trade in whole numbers. That's what I do.

Total Supply is 1.36
So right now the buy orders above 150 BTC / [42] account for about 10% of the total supply of 42. Think about that, kids.

Until transaction ids are immutable, allowing users to spend unconfirmed change outputs is just going to cause chaos.
I should read the code, but I would assume that the transaction ID is a 256 bit hash of the transaction details. If so, then it should take quite a birthday attack to create a valid alternate transaction ID. If the ID isn't a hash of the transaction details, then where is the hole in this idea, because it seems readily obvious.

On a serious note, is this coin dead? Im getting ready to panic sell...
If you sell now, in 2 weeks time you will be kicking yourself. Why, what will happen in 2 weeks? You will kick yourself. ok guys ... so you have convinced me. I bought back some. ... I wanted to buy any more ... but I have hope at profit back Good timing. Someone just put up a 19 BTC sell wall. You could probably make a small profit right now. But I think it would be a little early to cash out. [edit] Drats! It disappeared. [edit edit] Back at 9.9 BTC. Someone made a typo. Eh? Where? I see a 9BTC buy wall. 9.9 BTC. I think I have my terminology backwards.

Now I do my duty, to shed some light into the situation and speak out the one thing nobody dares to say: As it stands today, this coin is dead (or at least in a very very very very very very deep dormant state)
It has about 60 - 65 MH/s right now. It's not dead by a long shot.

The drawback to this...since your wallet is open on your PC and it's not encypted or locked you are susceptible to hijacking. I can remote hijack your PC, withdraw from your wallet and send to my wallet. Run the open wallet inside a VM on an encrypted drive. The VM OS can run a screen saver that requires a password. The VM could use encrypted system memory too (I believe this is possible). The point of weakness would be the screen saver, but it would be hard to kill the screen saver if the only enabled port was for the wallet client. Cracking the screen saver directly through encrypted system memory would probably be just as hard as brute-force cracking a locked encrypted wallet. Security for the truly paranoid. I'm going to have to join the ignore group. I'm all ears to discontent, but at some point there has to be evidence to back up grievances. You have provided nothing substantial over dozens of posts, so I'm hitting the ignore button now...

I do not agree nor disagree with Hippie Tech ... it's just too much ... yap yap yap yap ... reminds me of my ex-wife.
He's attacked the coin so much, I'm starting to have sympathy for it.

You are going to panic sell at the floor? It's been bouncing off about 155 for a week. If you sell now, in 2 weeks time you will be kicking yourself.

I don't understand why this coin hasn't taken off yet.
It will take off. Right now, about 2/3 of the hashes moved to DOGE. But hashes are still above 30 MH/s. The POS quality of EBT means that the overhead to keep the coin alive will be very low. In other words, it doesn't need huge hashes and it doesn't need to waste electricity to survive in the long run. That's why it is a good prospect to mine now. In the grand scheme of things, EBT is an early POS mover, in league with PPC, Next, CASH, PTS, and GRAin coin. It will probably take several times longer than these other coins (except maybe GRA) to gain real value. This means you can mine a bunch at relatively low cost, then just keep a wallet running as you collect interest. At some point in the future EBT should trade at a good value. However, if you are having doubts, I'll buy a few hundred thousand from you at the current OpenEx exchange rate.

EBT is more than 90 KH/s
You are right. I meant 90 MH/s. Replace all k with M in my last post.

Need more marketing.. Nobody know this coin exists..(look at the hash rate) To get the honest hash rate, you have to go to every pool and add them up manually. Then you have to estimate the hashes of solo miners, which there is no way to know. The client doesn't have the capacity to calculate the overall network hash rate like some (not all) other coins do. I've been watching this coin since early on, and it has had a steady increase of hashes. I calculate right now that it is at least 90 kH/s MH/s (no accounting for solo miners). That's up from about 35 kH/s MH/s from a week ago. If you like this coin, my suggestion to you is to start (or keep) mining while it's easy. If this coin were going to tank, the hashes would have peaked and already started dropping. EBT is only 2 weeks old, but these days most coins peak after a few hours, or at most 3-4 days. [edit] For perspective, CASH was at about 325 kH/s MH/s when it was slated to go on cryptsy, which it achieved after about 3 weeks. If EBT gets to that hash rate, it will take a couple of months, which is good news for small time miners interested in this coin.

Why? Whats going on tomorrow?
More of the same.

You like that? Someone just dumped about 1 BTC of 42 to every buy order available and brought it nearly to 150.
Yup. My bids got hit And I just flipped them with that solid market order to almost 190BTC/42. LOL! Quickest 25% of my life. Nice work. The guy who bought your flip is going to be hating himself tomorrow.

Wow, this coin just keeps dropping :O
Any thoughts on why? Something about multipool instant dump? It seems like a constant WEAK selling force... is the market just in shock?
You like that? Someone just dumped about 1 BTC of 42 to every buy order available and brought it nearly to 150. I'm not sure what the developers have in mind to protect the value of the coin, but the path they are taking right now certainly is unconventional (and ineffective)!

Is this coin going to rise to attention again or should I remove it from my BTC pairings to watch?
These coins on life support always get a bump after the devs fix mining problems. Right now, miners are mining at a deficit because the price is so low and the difficulty so high. It's not obvious why the fixes don't come faster.

I actually really like the current logo.
+1 It captures the essence of EBT.
