1381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi, the common on: September 06, 2022, 08:05:18 PM
If satoshi actually wanted to be know it would have been very easy. He would just act like what Ethereum co-founder vitalik did, which is make yourself open in the first place.

I strongly doubt Satoshi ever wanted to be like that but rather he had more larger vision which puts his creation bitcoin of more importance than his creation. And contrary to what you said about his finances, I wouldn't say Satoshi was a poor man, I would consider him a very reserved man and even if he has money he would be the time that values what he has rather than getting the latest version (there are rich people like that) the major thing right now is that he created Bitcoin and it's in use now and would be for a very long time, I don't bother about all the drama surrounding his identity.
1382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 06, 2022, 06:15:42 PM
Finally the matches are under way it's really going to be a very exciting Uefa champions league season and Chelsea are already losing to D.zagreb and Dortmund are up by two goals.

In other games.
#PSG vs Juventus: i think Paris saint German has a Strick force to terrify any team and they are very capable of beating Juventus tonight in Paris.

#Celtic vs Real Madrid: Madrid has not been bad this season and so has Celtic I think this may be the dark horse fixture and I think Celtic can hold them to a draw.

#Salzburg vs Milan: I rather select a both team score in this match because it could go either ways.
1383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 04, 2022, 08:57:11 PM
And just like that no body has a hundred percent record anymore in the English premier league. This was the test that many would have used to confirm if Arsenal is the force we should fear this season but they really blew the test and Manchester United exposed and beat the 3:1.

Arsenal has had a not so excellent last few game building up to this one and has struggled with the win and Manchester United is on a pick up phase, Arsenal still has a good claims to the English premier league this season but recent history shows a loss like this could be a Turing point to the Gunners season and they could probably be heading to rock bottom from now, let's hope that's not the case.
1384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Super Rich people have nothing to worry about Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology on: September 04, 2022, 08:15:06 PM
Let me let you know because I see you don't know, the crypto-currency space has the highest level of silent billionaires. Yes it really does if you are following whale news and some other news you may see some outrageously high amounts of Bitcoin been sent to some wallet and checking the history of the wallet you would get very shocked.

I would agree with you if you had said Highly rich guys won't care so much about Alt-coin yes because many of them has source of cash follow that covers this lavish lifestyle and maintains their wealth but with Bitcoin it's different because Bitcoin has more use than just for investments and this rich guys knows it and definitely get more involved into bitcoin.
1385  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto day trader groups on: September 04, 2022, 07:15:54 PM
There are so many Crypto traders groups on almost every platform and the scam rate of such groups is very high.
I think it's a big mistake in the first place for any one to believe In trading platform.

When I started early in trading I was so enthusiastic about trading groups and even following up trading influencers on YouTube on til I very nearly got scammed by a so called o
Trader giving me a fake trading platform to funds.
Also many of this trading signals are fake and what hurts the most is that they are never free.

I advice newbie trader to start on a demo probably go for workshops or video lectures don't ask for personal help like trade for me or sell me signal, rather learn the little and at your own pace.
1386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some say Bitcoin is dead but Bitcoin is not dead on: September 04, 2022, 06:34:27 PM
It's not logical to imitate bitcoin, it's just like trying to imitate the US dollars, the popularity of bitcoin has already gone to far to me duplicated and no coin can even come close to initiating it.
Also I have come to understand something about the bitcoin is dead saga, many people who are claiming that bitcoin is dead aren't even true enthusiast of Bitcoin they probably have zero to no idea about how Bitcoin works and just gaze on visual news and listen to the audio version.

Any bitcoin enthusiast don't need to be lectured about the the bull and bear market conditions besides the year of bitcoin all time high saw an even worse dip than this and still same year hit an all time high. I don't believe in predictions so I don't expect you should take mine but I doubt if Bitcoin would go lower than $17,000 this year again.
1387  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I use Bitcoin in a country that it is banned? on: September 04, 2022, 05:21:07 PM
Well I am from a country that has banned Crypto-currency as a whole so I can probably tell you from experience how I do it, but first you have to understand that not even the government can stop the complete usage of Crypto-currency amongst its citizens
Firstly
#Avoid buying using crypto-currency on government affiliates even if there is an option to do so.

#only deal in Crypto-currency with fellow crypto enthusiast.

#Be careful on centralized exchange: there were rumors that government creates fake accounts to track people who are involved in crypto-currency. I rather prefer using peer to peer that involves the use of privately own wallet.

1388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's talk about p2e games and what awaits in the future on: September 03, 2022, 07:50:46 PM
Gaming itself has always been a thing we can all regard as exciting and good gaming always draws in a good Number of people to itself, P2E play to earn gaming is actually a good innovation it's a sector in the crypto-currency world that has futuristic potentials but few restrictions are hindering it.

#misuse: Far too many new projects are setting up play to earn gaming, it's attractive and project teams and Developers see this possibilities so they add it to their project.

# low quality: too many projects adding play to earn gaming and many of them are low quality, I have been optioned to play some and it wasn't worth it, this generally has discouraged me from trying out more and so would it discourage other too.

Even though the play to earn gaming is a possibility on the rise having issues like this could quickly snuff out its light.
1389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheap Bitcoin tx fees! on: September 03, 2022, 06:53:46 PM
A cheaper transaction fee should not be the positive side of the crypto-currency bear market, really if we are being honest apart from the tangibly high Ethereum transactions fee, Crypto-currency have a relatively cheap transaction fee depending on how fast you want it.

A bull run with some larger transactions fee that the bear is much of a better option, in between I have been making transactions using electrum and for all this while I haven't had a transaction fee that was worrisome to me so I think maybe you can try using other options like electrum too and see how it works best for you.
1390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 03, 2022, 04:45:30 PM
Another very exciting English premier league.
It all started with
#Everton vs Liverpool: the Goodson park hosted this Mersey side derby and it was exciting but still boring in terms of Goals I think there is something wrong with the klopps team this season and apart from the match against Bournemouth they haven't been dominant in their football this season

#Chelsea vs westham: this two London sides gave a good game and it was very hard to separate them, Chelsea new signing showed us what to expect. I think the match deserves to be a draw and the referee officiated poorly denying westham the equalizer.

# Tottenham vs Fulham: Fulham has been know you give big team tough time so spurs knew what they were going to have. At the end a the day a very defensive compact spurs had the day.

It was goals in the other games with Bournemouth having their first win, brentford still having a good run and crystal palace ending in a draw.
1391  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: September 02, 2022, 09:14:49 PM
I don't support the actions of those Nigerians who when to Dubia and took Hooliganism to great heights amongst them selves. It's totally unwelcome and unnecessary, but I also believe this is all about the countries reputation. Nigeria is a country already having bad reputation especially in terms of terrorism. If tables turns and it's was another country in the western world that did what those Nigerian did I believe the law would walk on those who carried out the act.

I don't think thousands of Nigerians should suffer and be harassed at the embassy just because they are Nigerians, is already though even before the incident for Nigerians to be giving entrance to access many countries so this is just another reason for them to even stifle their law against Nigerians. And I don't this our minister of foreign affairs or ambassadors are really doing the best in helping Nigerians trapped in this situation.
1392  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks are changing ..... Bitcoin should wake up and innovate more! on: September 02, 2022, 08:23:19 PM
Well I would address you post by first beginning with your post topic, unlike the banks that are owned by individuals, cooperate board, government e.t.c Bitcoin isn't owned by a identifiable entity and for so long we haven't heard from any one who can say they would update bitcoin performance or functionalities so I don't understand what you mean by Bitcoin should awake.

Yes you right The bank system is pushing vigorously towards digitalization not only the banking sectors almost all other sectors that used to be orthodox are now evolving and I am not surprised seeing the world we live in today, but the distinguishing factor between Crypto-currency and the banking system won't be speed, technology but it would be decentralization and as long as that remains Bitcoin is ahead of the banking system.
1393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fed policy on Bitcoin worries investors, how do you react? on: September 02, 2022, 07:33:16 PM
This won't be the first time The Fed are thrown in such investigations, I could remember even the EU ones had a meeting of the power consumption of Bitcoin mining. It's long tussle from the government to either have good control of Crypto-currency or restrict it.

So speaking as an investor I don't think this is worrisome to me and if the price of Bitcoin would be affected by this it won't be of tangible measures. In between as a genuine crypto-currency enthusiast I think I am of the believe that some fraudulent activities that highly needs investigation should be open for the government to investigate it, I don't believe crypto-currency space should be an alternative shelter for fraudsters or illegal activities.
1394  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A rooted phone for a crypto user safe ? on: September 01, 2022, 08:07:50 PM
This is how I see security in Crypto-currency: once I have the slightest doubt I don't do it, recommendation is secondary to me. I don't think safety here in crypto-currency has to be difficult especially when we have our sensitivities high.

There are high chances that the amount you may have in your crypto wallet is more than the device in question, except you don't value what's inside the wallet or the wallet itself then you can take the risk. But if you do then all this is very simple, always used a fresh device best one that is brand new I prefer direct from the device company this is safer to me, you can't go wrong by taken adequate precautions.
1395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gambling Companies: First Massive Bitcoin Adopters on: September 01, 2022, 07:26:48 PM

2. Many people take gambling companies as something dirty. People might as well take bitcoin as something dirty too. And bitcoin's decentralized form as a good way to evade authorities and government regulations.
Before the use of crypto-currency (Bitcoin) in gambling, the Fiat was used be it dollars, pounds Euros depending on the gambling site. Did those who hate gambling see those currencies as unclean?

I stopped thinking about What the negativities people place on Bitcoin for things that Fiat has also been used for.
Crypto-currency integration into gambling is a double win for users and player, the use of Crypto-currency can help deal with issues of centralization, slow funding which I have experienced when trying to use bank to fund my account, you can play on multiple site that doesn't need to have root or affiliation to your region.

The use of crypto-currency is very beneficial and I don't see it stopping in the future. But if some issues of gas fee, minimum stakes can be addressed then it would be close to perfect to me.
1396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 31, 2022, 09:23:28 PM
A very physical English Premier League game we saw today.
#Arsenal vs Aston villa: I always knew that Aston villa won't be easy for Arteta's men and I actually thought the match would be a draw but fortunately for the Gunners they still maintained their hundred percent record and are sit pretty as league leaders.

#Manchestercity vs Forest: it was another Erling's show. He showed why he is one of the most talked about striker and netted three times in the first half, Manchester city went riot on forest on this one and the champions are doing well in term of retaining the league.

#Liverpool vs Newcastle: after a big win for klopp's men I thought this won’t be hard match but Newcastle gave the Reds a very difficult match that required them coming from behind and needing to be saved by a late winner.

Very interesting mid week games that ends tomorrow with Manchester United.
1397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does altcoins actually have the potentials of generating benefits to investors? on: August 31, 2022, 08:20:28 PM
Okay I will regard you as a beginner. And is would want you to make your choice first what do you want from alt-coin? Do you want to trade it or do you want to hold it. This are probably the top two ways of earning from Alt-coin. And you heard that Alt-coin has helped people make profits right that's true and it's also true that same Alt-coin has caused many to lose too.

I don't need to own Alts to know that the risk involved is much considering that they amount of them are too much, you would get advices that diversification is key but still there are possibilities of buy several alts and incurring loses from all of them I would give you few advice.

#Make up your mind on either trading or investing (or the both) and if it's investing then decide if you would do it short term or long term.
# know the difference between hype/News and reality. That's why you have to do your research.

# this is optional but I rather go for achievements that's Alts that has already proven itself to an extent rather than go for a new one because it's cheaper.
1398  Economy / Economics / Re: Savings during inflation on: August 31, 2022, 07:38:45 PM
Yes you are correct. I live in a country that is ravaged by inflation. My local currency is Naira and the value of this currency is always plummeting, let's say you keep the value of $6k in naira in a bank during March this year that money may be worth less than $5k and it really making people have a rethink.
Well what People normally do is converting the naira to dollar on black market and keeping the dollar note (this is a crime) and then keeping the dollar for themselves but if into crypto-currency you can switch it to any safe stablecoin.
Of course since I joined crypto-currency I have always preferred to earn that way and with my local bank placing tabs on Crypto to naira conversation I mostly use p2p or just keep it in my wallet. With the inflation rate rising this just gives another solid reason of having a bank account as a big disadvantage.
1399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins future is Bright on: August 30, 2022, 07:30:18 PM
Do we really need to talk about bitcoin future as a post, more that a ship loads of post like this has been made already. Regardless Bitcoin isn't how it was 4 years back and beyond, the topic on Bitcoin is far broad and I read that we would also be seeing more billboard showcasing more about Bitcoin.

Also I must stand to differ with your comparison on Bitcoin and Gold. Gold is a natural resource from the earth crust, and even the most experienced Gold miners can not determine the maximum supply or availability of Gold, but Bitcoin is fixed at 21 million. They also differ in their system of mining.
1400  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is going to a the bitcoin conference worth it? on: August 29, 2022, 07:28:57 PM
Coming up or my growth in Crypto-currency has lead me to so much enquiries about Crypto-currency in general and that includes going to conferences, seminars and workshops. But I can give you some note you should be aware.
#Do not go to any conference as a dummy: what I am saying here is going to a Bitcoin conference without first having little knowledge isn't beneficial, also have little knowledge can even make you engage the speakers more.

#know the difference from Crypto-currency conference and advert, I have made this mistake thinking I was going to a seminar about Crypto only to find out that it was a scheme by a project to tell people about themselves.

#Be ready to learn and unlearn when preparing for it. Knowledge is meant to be flexible doing this would increase your Crypto-currency growth.
