1381  Economy / Reputation / Re: Changed language in history. Bought? Hacked? on: April 24, 2023, 12:17:05 PM
Sorry,,but,I have to show some, private chat between me and my bro when he gifted me the account last year before my birthday.
<cut>

Sorry, but those screenshots you provided show that YOU gave access information to someone, not the other way around. (Assuming that the chats are legit and not fabricated). You probably mixed up your WhatsApp accounts and took a screenshot from the wrong one.

I don't know who the blackvirus account belongs to,, it a Nigerian guy I met on telegram that has been helping apply for campaign when i was new here and help me convert my earnings to Naira

<cut>
I share my password to him, to help me apply for signature campaigns,,I have no ideal to do it then,,,,, last year July 2022

Your story doesn't add up. Even if we were to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that your story about the gift account from your brother is true, there's no way you're telling the truth about this part. The chat screenshots clearly show that you claim to have had a conversation about this on July 17th and supposedly shared your btc address and login details with someone you met on Telegram. But that's a load of rubbish because you had already applied to multiple signature campaigns using that exact same btc address several days before! It's obvious that you're lying through your teeth!

Proof of your application to the StarBets.io campaign from July 12: https://ninjastic.space/post/60556700
Proof of your application to the Shaker.finance campaign from July 15: https://ninjastic.space/post/60570965

He shown me Nigeria board too last year to post,, please I'm not Blackvirus,,,our writting is different please help me,, I'm surviving on this earnings help me,,,Im not scamming,,just to work and help in my little way,,,

Seriously? More lies? Your feeble attempts to manipulate the truth are utterly transparent, and your credibility is non-existent. Stop trying to pull the wool over our eyes with your blatant falsehoods. After reading everything in this thread, I have absolutely no sympathy for you. If you had been honest from the start, you might have received a few neutral trust ratings on your account to indicate the change in account ownership. However, your dishonesty has exposed your true character. Even if we ignore your repeated attempts at ban evasion, playing the pity card has only resulted in earning you negative trust.

1384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Satoshi is eventually ID by the government on: April 21, 2023, 08:43:47 PM
If this is true does it mean that the identification of Satoshi as a person or organization will pose a treat to the existence of Bitcoin or otherwise

No, that is not correct. While it's true that Bitcoin is decentralized and difficult to shut down completely, it's not because it can't be traced to a single person or organization. It's because the network is made up of many nodes around the world, and it would be nearly impossible to shut them all down. Satoshi doesn't have any special control over the network. Even if Satoshi was identified, there's nothing that anyone could do to change the Bitcoin network unless the community as a whole (or at least the majority of miners and mining pools) agrees to it. And the community is strong enough to resist any external pressures. Bitcoin was designed to be decentralized and resistant to control by any single entity, and it has proven to be just that.

I will bet 27k area for end april, reason being the 50 day average is there and also prior support.   We could catch the top end of that possible support which would be 1k or more higher but thats the same band I think anyhow.   I'd also guess though we could rebound after a pullback it will still be below 30k before end month.     If I'm wrong then the bet will not pay out but the BTC holding will be worth more, no downsides then.    If it fails to catch the 27k area that'd be significantly outside expectations I think, more then a pullback.
The price is $27k for the outcome odds of 2.43 not bad either but my advice is to bet at the last minute of the price prediction, I think bitcoin price will play below $27k at the end of this month considering the weekly charts seem to be falling like the monthly charts will form a decline too if in the end the week we don't see the bitcoin price above $29k I think the price will continue to decline.

I understand your point, but I'm actually quite optimistic about the support at the 27k-28k range. Looking at historical price movements, it seems like this range has acted as a strong support level in the past, which suggests that it could happen again. I believe that we could see some sideways movement in the coming days, but I think this support could hold and prevent any significant downward movement.

As you mentioned, the odds look promising at 2.43, so I'm thinking of placing my bet as well.
1387  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beyond the year 2140 on: April 21, 2023, 05:04:25 PM
Will the bitcoin miner receive nothing since there are no block rewards and no transaction fees to collect since there are no transactions in the block at first place?

Well, in the scenario you described, when there are no transactions in the block, the miner would not receive any transaction fees. So, you've basically already answered your own question.
1388  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help me in choosing wallet before I make mistake on: April 21, 2023, 01:57:19 PM
In my opinion, neither of the options you mentioned are popular or recommended. Binance is an online exchange and not a wallet, and while it can be used to hold a small amount of coins (specifically if you actively use the platform for trading), it's not advisable to do so for an extended period. As for Freewallet, it's a web wallet and mobile app. Although I'm uncertain if it's a custodial wallet or not (meaning if they have access to your private keys), the general opinion is that web wallets are less secure than fully-fledged desktop apps or hardware wallets.

You should avoid custodial wallets, which hold your keys on your behalf, as they can be hacked or shut down, and you have no control over it. If you prefer to manage your funds on your desktop, I recommend using a software wallet like Electrum. And if you want better security with less effort on your part, a hardware wallet is the best choice.
1389  Other / Meta / Re: why bitcointalk don't advertise anywhere. on: April 21, 2023, 10:43:51 AM
One key question to ask yourself with every advertising or marketing campaign is: What goal or objective am I trying to accomplish? The community is already strong enough as it is, so what would be the rationale for making such an investment? Instead, I'm with the others who have already brought it up - the forum admins should really prioritize optimizing it for mobile use and embracing new technologies in order to appeal to a younger audience.

<cut>
This post gave me all possible reasons the forum does not advertise and I think I am satisfied now.

In that case, I recommend that you consider closing this thread.

1391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you favor betting on spesific sport? on: April 21, 2023, 06:01:46 AM
It seems like everyone has their own preferences when it comes to betting on sports. That makes sense. For me, I think it's all about finding a sport or league that I actually enjoy following and have a decent understanding of. As some have already pointed out, if you're betting on sports or leagues that you don't know much about, it's really just down to luck unless you have some solid tips or information to rely on.
1392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: April 21, 2023, 05:48:08 AM
is there method to get 100 $ per day

Hmm, I'm not so sure about that. I mean, gambling is all about luck, right? It's not exactly a reliable source of income. I've heard of some folks trying to make a daily profit from casinos or bookies. And hey, it might work out for them - at least for a little while. But let's be real, most people end up losing more than they win at the casino. You'd have to be really good at it and have some serious luck on your side.
1393  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: April 20, 2023, 11:41:31 AM

1395  Economy / Gambling / Re: $100 to $2519 on Strikebits.com today! on: April 19, 2023, 07:44:12 AM
at least after being tagged , OP gave up lol .

he does not even wanted to extend his shilling because it is already burned , and I think that is the main objective of this thread , to try luring even one depositor as this shows how scammy they are.

Will never deal by any chance in this and hope everyone will do the same.

Yeah, it's good that his account is now tagged to warn others. But honestly, that's not even the most crucial part here. He can easily create a new throwaway account and keep promoting the scam. The real value is that we now have this scam site recorded, and anyone searching for information about it in the future will come across this topic. So, at least he's ruined this domain, and he'll have to register a new one if he wants to continue his scam.
1396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: April 19, 2023, 07:08:29 AM
Gambling addiction is something that I see many control easily,
is it really ? can control easily? i believe it is not mate lol.

Well, many people can manage their addictions, but also, many others cannot. Gambling, in particular, is thrilling and all-consuming for many gamblers - they lose track of time and money once they get caught up in it. I've seen it happen with my own eyes in real life.

Quote
The bad thing about the casino and games of Chance is that the casino throws you off at once and how does it play if an addicted player doesn't like to play with play money, if it were with play money there would be no problems, but that's with real money and not being in control and losing all the time is worthy that you need professional help.
play money? what is that? does this count in any way? lol winning without real money in your wallet is frustrating lol.

Yeah. While I'm not entirely sure, but it seems unlikely that someone can develop a gambling addiction by playing with play money. Gambling addiction is often driven by the thrill and risk of trying to win big. It's possible that when there is no real financial stake, gambling becomes a less risky activity for people with addictive personalities.
1397  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Why is Electrum so popular among holders of Bitcoin? on: April 18, 2023, 06:05:11 PM
One of the main reasons why the Electrum wallet is so popular is its strong security features. It's an open-source software that supports hardware wallets, multi-signature, and private key encryption, which makes it a popular choice among users who prioritize security. Moreover, Electrum is one of the oldest lightweight Bitcoin wallets, so you don't need to run your own Bitcoin node or download the entire blockchain, which makes it convenient and user-friendly.

And as for hardware wallets, almost all of them require accompanying software. This software is typically provided by the manufacturer of the hardware wallet and is designed to work seamlessly with the device. However, it can also be third-party software, such as Electrum. Electrum supports a variety of hardware wallets, including Trezor, Ledger, KeepKey, and others. This means that you can use Electrum to manage your hardware wallet, providing an extra layer of security, as the private keys are stored on the hardware wallet, which is not connected to the internet. The Electrum software serves only as an interface between the user and the hardware wallet.
1398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: April 18, 2023, 09:56:45 AM
slots games has a lot of fun, so slots are very popular with most gamblers
I have no idea why many people think slots games are fun because you're just keep spinning and hoping you will hit huge multipliers, nothing else. Most people who play slots games in my country are being quiet and keep watching their device, they only happy when they're win.

But if we bet on sports, either we lose or win, we're excited to watch the match, we can discuss it with our friends and sometime mocking each other if we're predicted wrong team/fighter.

I can understand both perspectives. Personally, I'm more into sports betting for the same reasons you mentioned, but I can see how some people might enjoy the simplicity and excitement of slots games. I mean, even though they can feel repetitive after a while, some folks just love that fast-paced thrill. Sports betting, on the other hand, is not for everyone. It requires a certain level of interest and knowledge in the sport you're betting on, and some people just don't find that engaging or exciting. That's totally fine, though! As I've been saying, everyone's got their own cup of tea when it comes to gambling, and it's all about finding what brings you the most joy.
1399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take Part in Gambling Lotteries ? on: April 18, 2023, 09:44:36 AM
I understand why some people turn to the lottery as a way to try to recoup their losses, but I personally don't see the appeal of the lottery. The odds are just too slim to justify spending money on tickets. I'd rather focus on other forms of gambling where I have a better chance of winning, even if the potential payout might not be as great, or just save my money and invest it in something with a better return on investment. It's all a matter of gambler's personal preference.

As for free lottery tickets, of course, who doesn't love them? It's like a little gift that gives you a chance to try your luck without having to spend any money. But they should never be seen as a way to recover losses from other forms of gambling.
1400  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Come and mine Bitcoin in Africa. on: April 18, 2023, 09:30:45 AM
I totally agree with OP. It's great to see how Bitcoin mining can make a positive impact on the standard of living in African communities. It's true that some African nations may not have all the ideal conditions for mining, but things are changing for the better. I think it's important to consider the humanitarian aspects of mining, not only economic, and strive for a positive impact on the communities in which mining operations are located.

I think in Africa a lot of electricity will be used to cool video cards) the colder the country, the lower the electricity costs Cool

Not only that but you also can not really use the heat for other purposes. If you own a warehouse in Siberia you can have a mining section somewhere in a corner and as a side effect your warehouse is heated for free. This will sadly not work in Africa and also cooling water etc will be more challenging.

Totally get what you're saying! Using the heat generated from mining to warm up a warehouse like in Siberia might not be as feasible in Africa. The hot temperatures there don't really lend themselves to that kind of setup. And yeah, cooling can be a challenge too, especially with water scarcity in some areas. But hey, there are still ways to repurpose the heat for things like hot water in hotels or hospitals, with some cool techniques like immersion cooling. After all, heat is just another form of energy that can be harnessed and converted into other forms of energy and used for various purposes. It's all about finding creative solutions and making the most of what's available, right?
