1381  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a correlation between liquidity and volatility? on: December 03, 2023, 07:16:39 PM
Nope, liquidity is no where corelated to the volatility and you will find some shit coins within almost no liquidity but they are highly volatile. It's just that Bitcoin or any other crypto (not all) are easily traded internationally through the CEX & DEX, you are confusing between ease of availability with volatility. Volatility is the nature of crypto and it will continue to remain volatile and also easily accessible for trading or converting into cash/fiat compared to other investments like stocks as the later are controlled and has to go through a process but Bitcoin is free from these controls.
1382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How are your exchange tokens performing at the moment? on: December 03, 2023, 11:30:26 AM
I am currently hodling BNB, HT, UNI and SUSHI i am planning to hodl them until the peak of Bull run because I got a huge return previously when I held BNB from $10 and sold it at $600 hence I have decided to invest into some major DEX and CEX exchange token which I did during the downfall and now continuously hodling it for over two years now. Exchange tokens hold good scope of growth until the exchange is good and some negative news like arrest of CZ impacts the price of the exchange token
1383  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: December 03, 2023, 10:56:44 AM
Working from home has actually become a double-edged sword to a lot of workers. It would have been better if working from home remains to have fixed time setup. The problem is that there isn't to many workers. I have heard of complaints from teachers here in my place that working from home has actually made them a lot busier than it was when they worked at school. They're now heavily loaded that the time they're spending working has actually increased. So while you're working from the comforts of your home, it isn't a big deal since you're still too absorbed in your work.

working at home means you are doing two jobs at once actually, as someone who has a family, I always work on my online business and also open forums at home, so often my time clashes, my time has been very chaotic, I  can't control my time to take care of everything because my child is sick, well, I really have to do this, because everything is my responsibility, and I get through everything smoothly, I haven't worked outside the home for a long time, actually I quite miss work pressure when working outside the home lol.

Working at home doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re working two jobs. It may be a window for one to be able to work multiple jobs at the same time, but it doesn’t mean that you already do two jobs at once. See it as no different from how you go to the office everyday and sit on your desk to do your obligated tasks. Additionally working from home doesn’t mean you can’t get under pressure. If your boss asks you to deliver something, you’ll put in the same energy and stress because at the end of the day, you have to deliver that thing.

Absolutely agree with your observations and point but unfortunately work from home has not been so smooth as either the employee is taking this for granted or else the boss or organisation makes the employee do extra hours in pretext of saving their transportation and travelling time. I have seen companies asking their employees to do extra hours as they would be saving the travelling time and cen the tasks has been increased wherein people are forced to stretch the shift. It has to be disciplined both the ways not only towards the workers and it should be unbiased.
1384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cristiano Ronaldo get 1 billion dollars lawsuit for his NFT failure on: December 03, 2023, 10:06:25 AM
This was coming long time ago as it's a fault and greediness of both the starts like CR7 and the investors. Celebrities should stay away from investment scheme and not endorse any of them. NFT itself was a scam and celebrities popping into it made it a large scam with more money being pooled in from naive investors. This should be a lesson for celebrities that they shouldn't get involved or endorse which they don't control as this is not like a product endorsement as it's about investment at huge margin and for investors they shouldn't blindly go with whatever is been advertised.
1385  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Most Traders are Not Profitable on: December 03, 2023, 09:34:55 AM
There is no way that 95% are losing their trades and I cannot draw correlation between 95% traders being unprofitable and them earning through affiliate marketing or YouTube channels. It can never be 95% losing as trading will stop if that's the case. There are people who claims to be profitable traders by showing fabricated numbers and sell their signals or strategy which are designed to fail but not 95% as you claim. Let it be any trader initially they will have losing days but eventually they gain knowledge and create their own strategy which is unique for them based on their level of understanding and what works well for them.
1386  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bank stops all my payments to exchanges. Now what? on: December 03, 2023, 08:51:45 AM
Just want to clear one thing have they blocked the transaction or transfer only to these two exchanges you have mentioned? Better reaching out to bank to have a check why these transactions were blocked since bitcoin or crypto is not illegal in Belgium there should be a valid reason and if it's to do only with Binance and Bitvavo then go for other exchanges else if they say iits some rules they have implemented to safeguard their bank users as they use terms like safeguarding etc, then go for some other banks which don't have these restrictions post checking with crypto community based on Belgium.
1387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the largest meme coin ever? on: December 03, 2023, 07:26:04 AM
Of course the answer is Dogecoin. DOGE is the first and the largest meme coin. Then SHIBA INU follow the trend of meme coin and become the second largest meme coin after Dogecoin.
How do you think doge is the largest meme coin based on market capitalization. Doge is not the largest meme coin for now although I don't know in the future maybe doge would take over from the present meme coin with large capitalization.
Pepe coin was one of the largest meme coin ever in history rating after Ethereum but it could not stay at the top for longer time due to the minimal issues the team had that made the coin to fall drastically to a season bear.
If not Dogecoin then what is it? Dogecoin is only the meme coin who are among the top 10 according to CMC and Coingecko. You should rather say that maybe other meme coins will over take Dogecoin in the future but I still doubt it. For me, I can look at Dogecoin similar to Bitcoin in terms of being the people's choice.

There are meme coins who can suddenly shine out of nowhere but this is not enough to surpass Dogecoin and that hype was only short-lived. Even though Dogecoin can now pump rarely like that, at least it is consistent. I see you mentioned Pepe there, but I haven't heard of that issue you are talking about. These all mean meme coins can still subject to a downfall.

I have a slightly different opinion on meme coins as I don't believe or consider any of those because I don't see any practical use of these coin and honesty they were just made as a fun but if I have to choose one then I would go with Doge through its price entirely depends on any news or updates from Elon Musk but it has been in the market for a while hence I would go with Doge instead of other dozens of coins which are invented everyday.
1388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should altcoins be blamed? on: December 02, 2023, 09:05:02 PM
Altcoin shouldn't be blamed for something where it doesn't have any role to play, I would say those who hate crypto in general are due to some or the other bad experience and to be honest more than those who regret selling Bitcoin for peanuts or those who lost access it's those who have lost huge amount while trading or invested during the bull run at its peak and ended up selling during bearish by incurring loss. I am telling this with my personal experience I have felt vulnerable and kinda started hating crypto for a while when my asset got struck at low value and shot up a while after I had sold them or loss. Altcoin or Bitcoin it depends on person's experience.
1389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at its ATH of 2023 so far on: December 02, 2023, 07:21:18 PM
Yes Bitcoin has breached this year's ATH and I am sure we may reach $40k if this trend continues but December has not been so great for Bitcoin in the past. I would bet on Bitcoin till first half of December and need to be very cautious towards the second half of December. But we are still far away from ATH figure which Bitcoin might most likely achieve during the next year's possible bullrun. It looks like next year would be a huge one for Bitcoin as without official bullrun Bitcoin has shown so much of improvement and upward trend which is more than 140% increase compared to Bitcoin's value in the month of December last year.
1390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin (DOGE) Pumps 10% As Elon Musk Links Memecoin To X on: December 02, 2023, 06:41:41 PM
As Elon Musk is a huge supporter, fan, and holder(?) of DOGE, and moreover has such a large community via Twitter, no wonder any news from his side for this coin will influence many traders as well as investors reflecting the price surge. However, this will provide benefits to current holders so it is good news. If such posts or news continues from Elon Musk periodically, the DOGE coin may reach $0.75 for sure.
Elon Musk shilling DOGE then of course we will see immediate effect on DOGE coin price increase, It’s not new. He supported but we don’t know he hold it or not, but  i think he can keep holding DOGE in secret wallet if he supported it. It’s holders eagerly waiting to more tweets from him and price will pump but it’s not guaranteed to price will hit 0.75$.

I don't think Elon is serious about Doge as he had already played with emotions of traders by shilling Doge and then abandoned it and this has only benefitted the whales who has dumped the accumulated doge when it's at peak after tweet or mentioned by Elon Musk. If he is tweeting or mentioned about Doge then he has to back it up with action which has not happened yet hence I don't believe in this shit coin and EM will not be hodling it as he can easily potray it in negative light in order to accumulate and then shill it if he intends to hodl Doge.
1391  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New here and wants to make some money on: December 02, 2023, 05:26:30 PM
There are lot of ways to make money and this forum is a hybrid of learning and earning. When it comes to newbie for earning through the traditional way in this forum which is Signature campaigns and bounties it's going to take sometime as it's too early because you need to increase your rank and need merit for that. But there is still one area where you can try your luck as you may see lot of users posting about the services they can offer under service section. I am sure everyone will have something to offer like coding, designing, data related and digital marketing, etc. You may list down the services you may offer and try to get some decent work and payout and just in case you are not specialised in anything then learn through YouTube and internet then offer services which are in demand.
1392  Economy / Economics / Re: Luxury and spending lifestyle fastest way to poverty rich kids on: December 02, 2023, 02:49:06 PM
From your topic I don't think one can become rich only by selling to rich kids as the ratio of rich kids and working class or middle class kid is pretty imbalanced but the following are the takeaway I have got:

1. Rich people should ensure that they plan the finance not only for them but for their children as well and it should be in such a way that they shouldn't get all the money at one go but once in a month or so.
2. Point 1 will help ensuring rich kids when they go broke don't just exhaust the funds saved by their parents as they will get it in installments not lump sum.
 3. Rich should train and breed their children to be self dependent to avoid ending up miserably as homeless or drug addict.
1393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin investment is the key to success" on: December 02, 2023, 10:29:31 AM
There is no hard and fast rule that you must invest the money into Bitcoin even when you don't have money for basic necessities or survival, I would always prefer to invest the money which I have saved additionally which has been accumulated by saving on unnecessary expenses. Whenever you cashout you will feel that you should have hodled it but longer as price continues to increase but luckily we have accumulation period in the name of bear market. Even if you have to cashout you can buy more during these period.
1394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Xrp still worth to break its previous 3.4$ ATH? on: December 02, 2023, 09:40:28 AM
XRP has never been on my list and it's the first centralized crypto to be created. There is no way that XRP breaking it's previous ATH and even if it does it won't be natural but rather due to manipulation from the dev team as they can control the supply and demand. I have never been a fan of XRP and just utilizes it's crazy market pump in 2017 that's all. It's like a dead coin now but we will occasionally see sudden pump followed by gradual dump as dev has to make money.
1395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing altcoins now or during halving? on: December 01, 2023, 09:59:15 PM
At this moment I think most of the Altcoins have already pumped which makes me little bit hesitant to invest because what if the market starts turning red in form of correction phase? Usually we will see a correction phase before the halving which still has over four months to go but it's better to stay conscious because had it been Bitcoin we can suggest you may enter anything if you are looking for hodl but Altcoin is a different use case where it takes ages but still some major altcoins will not be able to breach previous ATH. I think this is not the right moment, let's wait for halving event and it's effect on Altcoins.
1396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk predicts X will replace banks in 2024 - The Verge on: December 01, 2023, 07:03:44 PM
Exactly. I simply don't see "X" replacing banks anytime soon. These financial institutions are too big to fail. They have the full backing and trust of the government. I doubt people will trust a private company on top of banks. To create a "financial super app", Elon Musk is going to need to approval of all of the world's governments. And that's very unlikely to happen because the world can't reach a common agreement.

If Bitcoin didn't beat banks, what makes you think a centralized financial app will? Elon Musk completely lost his marbles. I will see him "rekt" by the end of 2024, as "X" loses traction big time. The future is unpredictable, so lets hope for the best. Just my thoughts Grin

Hahahah lol but it is what it is. Even X can manage a ton of people to atleast deposit their money into the platform the company would simply need a bank to keep the cash save or at least move it to investment bank like jp morgan but bank still bank.

But I just hope the X becomes the crypto-friendly social media and maybe implement crypto technology as well. Wish all the best to X.

btw i like the old name "Twitter"  Grin

I just hope Elon Musk don't kill X with stupidity as we have seen so much of drama with X, let it be firing the previous CEO and other controversies and now his involvement in the war zone which was unnecessary.

TBH Elon Musk should understand that he should be more focused on how to make his organisation more profitable as it's been a rough year for him as whatever he has touched this year has backfired.

Soon he would be approaching the banks to bail him out if he doesn't fix the issues within his org.
1397  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does signature Campaign Sponsors make their money on: December 01, 2023, 06:10:51 PM
They pay us for advertising their projects, I am part of ElonCoin signature campaign and as I make this post you will see their project details below and I would say this is the most effective way of targeting the most appropriate audience because everyone here have fair idea of crypto and slightly more knowledge than those who aren't part of this forum because we get to discuss more crypto related topics and get our queries resolved and get suggestions so we ourselves have so many relevant customers amongst us. Our posts increases their visibility thus increases chance of acquiring customers I mean investors.
1398  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for December on: December 01, 2023, 05:36:21 PM
I have always considered December to be the month of corrections and possible dump as we have seen in the past hence I don't have high hopes for this December as well, I don't think Bitcoin will have one more green month as we will see corrections during the festive seasons.

I don't intend to create fuds but I have been in the space for a while and it's my personal observation and I usually refrain from investing into Bitcoin during first half of the December because mostly the correct phase starts from second half of the month. Don't take this as a financial advice I am just sharing my experience and others might have different views as well.
1399  Economy / Economics / Re: The power of investment choices on: December 01, 2023, 12:20:06 PM
No doubt Bitcoin is the safest investment and can be majority in your investment portfolio and as far as your term "win small lose less thank lose more win less" it's incorrect as it should be "Win small lose less or Win more lose more". You can compare the amount of profit and loss potentials between Bitcoin which we consider win small lose less against Altcoin which is vice verse you will find Altcoins may give you huge profit or huge there is nothing much stable in Altcoins hence either profit or loss it has to be more. Bitcoin would be ideal for most of us but a mix of Bitcoin and Altcoin would be best for traders and those who wants to take extra risk and fine with losing as well but aiming for high and quick profits.
1400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin story on: December 01, 2023, 08:15:28 AM
That's something which all of us should try doing and this might atleast help them understand that how anything new and innovative can become a life changer as we are fed to believe in the traditional ideology and methods instead of being taught to believe in new technologies and something which is not a business as usual. This will enable them to start exploring and getting themselves involved into technologies of future. When Bitcoin was introduced to me I though it's a scam and some sort of multi level marketing of pyramid scheme but I was wrong.

It should be in the context of Bitcoin but not limited to Bitcoin as our end goal should be enabling them to be open for radical changes and new innovations, which would keep them ahead of rest and work for betterment through these technologies.
