1381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Fiat and Banks? Can Bitcoin solve the problem? on: March 26, 2023, 08:00:28 AM

What is your view on this?
Bitcoin could absolutely solve this, but if and only if people actually hold it in their own wallets and not on centralized exchanges. We already know that most centralized exchanges are running fractional reserve systems with bitcoin and other coins. We've seen this in particular over the last few months when the likes of Celsius, Voyager, BlockFi, FTX, and more have collapsed and been unable to pay back everyone who had deposited. With a centralized exchange you don't own any bitcoin - all you have is an entry on their spreadsheet. That exchange can show you any number they like, while they actually spend/gamble/loan your coins out freely. The only difference is that centralized exchanges cannot just create new bitcoin out of thin air like banks can with fiat, but they are very much fractional reserve just like banks are.
I don't see people getting used to not keeping their funds on centralized exchanges any time soon, because some people won't just learn until something very bad happen to them or their money.

Before the FTX saga there was Luna, before Luna there was Mt-Gox if people should have learned it would have been a long time ago and centralized exchanges will struggle to survive, the only thing closer to Banks in crypto space are centralized exchanges.

This is why I called CEX the bank of the digital space, and it is also why I still blame some developers, I wonder why they have not been able to come up with a decentralized exchange that is 99% close to everything that a CEX has to offer, but in a Decentralized form, this is why Bitcoin existed right? Everyone should use Bitcoin as an example, and also follow its way.
1382  Economy / Economics / Re: Would You Consider Adding Bitcoin to Your Retirement Savings on: March 26, 2023, 07:40:55 AM
I bet that everyone will want to add Bitcoin to their retirement plan but there are some risks involved, you should know that in the near future the regulators might find answers to how to regulate Bitcoin itself, I know this could sound like it's stupid but who knows? Also understand that Bitcoin is not insured by any federal depository insurance companies which means that you have no chance of getting your money back if anything unexpected happens to Bitcoin.

A while ago, I think to myself, if there is ever going to be a decentralized insurance company that can help insure bitcoin and crypto investment, I've seen lossless and Checkdot but I am still yet to be satisfied, maybe some might tell me how IRA might be of help? But that's still a centralized entity.
1383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about this? on: March 25, 2023, 10:10:32 AM
The fact remains that every man needs money and craves for a better life, regardless of whether he is a servant of God or not.

When people talk about servant of God, it makes me feel as though we want them to be nonhuman, they're just like us.

Being a servant of God doesn't mean you it's forbidden to dream of a better life, they deserve all the good things we all strive to achieve.

This Pastor who left his ministry for such a big amount of money, may have a good reason for doing so, but let's not jump right to conclusions.

There are many other pastors like him that do evil things to make money, if all this man did was gamble I don't see anything wrong here, and if it's wrong may God forgive us all.
1384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying cheap is best formula on: March 25, 2023, 09:32:06 AM
If you plan to be in crypto space for years then you are already planning to hold for long term, so someone like you can buy Bitcoin at any price because we are still in a bear market, the present value of Bitcoin is still good for long term accumulation, buy what you can per week or month, by April the price might be lower or higher but there is no way to know, and if you fail to buy thinking that value will be lower in April and it goes higher you will keep missing good chances to accumulate.

It is good to also create buying orders on exchanges because you might be sleeping when Bitcoin value start dumping, I have created buying orders around 19k, 20k, and 22k on exchanges like huobi and Bitget so I don't have to keep watching the value every time, I can go any where I feel like without having to check my laptop to buy at a price.
1385  Economy / Economics / Re: Lending money or damaging family bond ? on: March 25, 2023, 08:54:25 AM
You've learned, know that if any family members come to lend money from you they always don't have the intention to pay the money back, it is rare to see one that will pay everything they owe you, some will manage to pay half of the money, that's even after you report them to older family members after they pay half of the money they won't pay the rest, this has happened within my family few times and I put a stop to it, now if I have to help any family member, I always give away the money and never expect them to pay back. Assuming the person needs 1000$ from you, you can give them 200$ and tell them that they don't need to pay you back, that this is all you have on you, this won't cause any hate or cruelty between the person, this works better.
1386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Game do you think is a Game of Chance or a Game of Skill? on: March 25, 2023, 07:50:28 AM
Is there any games online that requires only your skills and not luck? This is online gambling games not SEGA MEGA Drive where you can beat up anyone if you know all the combo moves available in the games, when it comes to making money out of a game, Remember  that people built the money-making system in the game and you will still need some luck to be able to hit the jackpot. People lose money in online casinos more than they win.

Here is my answer, with the experience I have gained playing online casino games, I don't want to know which or what game you want to play, you still need skills and luck, some games only require more skills than luck and others require more luck to win than your skills, still both are a must.
1387  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best platform for crypto exchange on: March 24, 2023, 01:02:29 PM
You can't use Crypto every day even if you want to.But you can trade daily if you want.
First you need to centralize exchange to trade.Where you can buy any type of coin, trade and invest as you wish.
Binance is a very good exchange to invest in.I often invest in this excise through various coins.
Wrong information, anyone can use crypto everyday if they want, using your crypto to do day trading means they are already in use, a day trader uses his or her coin to day trade on any exchange they like, it's in work, to earn more money.

Trading is now possible outside of centralized exchanges, now decentralized exchanges are capable of trading, you can create orders and wait for your order to go through just like what we do on centralized exchanges.

The difference here is one requires for your identity card and the other doesn't. The choice is up to the OP.
1388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are Casino Sites Cheating Us? on: March 24, 2023, 12:05:16 PM
It is sure that the experience you get from one online casino will differ from that you will get from another online casino. If you are not satisfied with the results you are getting, do know that there are many online casinos you can try, and I am sure that you will get a different result from one online casino to another.

Use reputable online casinos and be opened to try out new games and strategies, some online casinos do like to cheat that's why I would recommend a well-rated casino that has a good reputation, most smaller or new online casinos likes to cheat or refuse to pay, not all of them are worth the risk.
1389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I got money today on: March 24, 2023, 11:11:41 AM
If someone contact you that they need Bitcoin, it is smarter to give them your referral link, you must have a crypto exchange you are using, why not help this person to open a binance exchange account using your referral link?

You will get better reward than running around because of 1%, that's not worth anything, because if she buy 100$ Bitcoin you only get 1% and if she buy 1000$ Bitcoin you get 10$, referring people to Binance exchange or other top exchange will earn you more rewards.

Also it seems this buyer is a newbie, I would have sit her down and teach her how to buy Bitcoin directly using her smartphone.

This mean + 1 to the list of people I bring into crypto, it makes no sense getting Bitcoin for her and she remained not knowing how to buy Bitcoin herself, that's bad for Bitcoin adoption.
1390  Economy / Economics / Re: Money hardly come this days! Why? on: March 24, 2023, 10:26:12 AM
I don't understand why things are so unspeakably hard to people. I couldn't hard a good feelings for some days after thinking of what must have trans-led this suffering of financial hardship in societies. Money is rare this days, am going through a lot but I just hope things well and better soon. Is not really funny here.

My children are at home chase from school, I could not pay fees again. What could be the cause of scarcity of cash?
I am not here to judge but what are you planning to do about your problem? This story of yours says you are jobless right now, what and what have you done about this? I am also from such country where people are lamenting, but crypto have helped me to achieve what I may have never be able to achieve working day and night, I have spend few years promoting airdrops, accumulating bitcoin through faucets and more, some friend of mine made over 3,000$ yesterday claiming Arbitrum airdrop and selling on Kucoin, this is time consuming and now that you already have a family it will be hard to start joining airdrops, hoping to make some money. What you need right now is a way to make passive income because of your children, and passive income in crypto without some money is almost impossible.
1391  Economy / Gambling discussion / What is the biggest problem you think AI can fix in gambling on: March 23, 2023, 02:56:55 PM
I believe that fraud is the biggest issue that online casinos are facing after settling with the LAW to keep running their businesses, and I believe that the combination of Artificial Intelligence with human assessment will help prevent frauds.

With AI it will be more easier to eliminate frauds and set a stronger level of protection because AI is far more capable of doing the intense cross checking and and more complex security checks, it is a load of work for human to do cross checking themselves as the chance of missing a spot is possible due to tiredness or laziness. All these work load can be shifted to AI and leave the investigation cases to humans to fix.

What else do you think a gambling casino can benefit from using AI technology?
1392  Economy / Economics / Re: There is more to the regulation's aim on: March 23, 2023, 01:20:47 PM
In the end, crypto projects will always continue to cause people to lose their life savings, so the government has to interfere with this matter regardless of the government's hidden agenda, everyone knows that the government like being in charge of everything most important when the thing is fetching the world some life-changing money, they want taxes and regulation so nothing new here with the government, they are nasty and consists of corrupt people pretending to be humankind savior, but since crypto projects are not safe either from scammers and hackers we have no choice but to let the government.
1393  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitMEX Founder Arthur Hayes Predicts Bitcoin To Reach $1 Million Within 2-3 Year on: March 23, 2023, 12:53:38 PM
There will come a time when bitcoin will reach a million dollars, but it's never going to happen in the next bull market. If you are a crypto trader and know how to study prices through charts, you know that this price in a few years is impossible; bitcoin's last high was 60,000+ and in the next bull market, I think we can easily break through 100,000$ or even more, and people are using and tweeting about one million dollars per Bitcoin on purpose. In the hope that some investors who are not familiar with price action will FOMO in and keep holding while they should be selling, they want to create hype and make-believe. If you believe this, it's your fault.
1394  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which one would you rather work for on: March 23, 2023, 11:12:23 AM
When compared to Binance exchange to Uniswap the winner is clear, Binance exchange is huge and yes I will go for Binance exchange because of this, I can also proudly talk about Binance exchange because of the popularity and its also centralized, if we are to ask 100s of people 80 of them will know what Binance is all about, even if they are not users they must have heard about Binance from somewhere.

Uniswap is a decentralized exchange, also it's less known by people, Uniswap is only big in crypto space, but out of the crypto space, many people don't know what Uniswap is all about.

Moreover, Uniswap is a decentralized exchange, I think the team are not transparent, to keep the decentralized root in check.
1395  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satellite Betting (Low Delay) on: March 22, 2023, 09:23:08 AM
Yeah but that's why I will bet it offline.

Telegram is the easiest way to discuss things like this. Since you can easily use it on the phone. There is no need for me to scam people.
Why can't you find people offline too? It will be easy to do than coming on this forum to divert people back into your telegram space, this is weird and it's looking like a scammer's way of hunting for prey.

If you can't be transparent about what you want to do on this forum do not bother to bring such idea, if you are starting anything on this forum you must finish it on here too.

There is no packing of members off this forum into your den of hungry lions, it's not going to work and you might be penalized for this.
1396  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for INVESTORS on: March 22, 2023, 07:33:32 AM
You should do research on how to raise funds for new projects.

Even shit projects find this easy to do this days.

Start a Kickstarter or find a launchpad platform, since the coding is still ongoing it shows that it's not near completion yet.

The easiest way to go about this is implementing a token, make sure it has useful purposes for the project, and raise funds through launchpad.

Find marketers, and advertise the project, then do some campaigns.
1397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when your identity is stolen -- real story || Avoid CEXs! on: March 22, 2023, 06:50:13 AM
I have seen fake crypto exchanges that are opened for collecting people's KYC information, it is better to pass KYC requirements on top exchanges if you must use a CEX.

I have heard a lot of rumors about people purchasing evil stuffs online through the dark web and they always use stolen identities to carry out the purchases, we need to be careful with who we share our information.

The question I have now about people that are not using Centralized exchanges, because of identity stealing issues is, how are you guys doing day trading?

The main reason why I have no choice but to keep trading daily on centralized exchanges is that they are best for trading.
1398  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's not safe to be a crypto influencer on: March 22, 2023, 05:48:24 AM
Crypto influencers should prioritize their reputation, because if you maintain your reputation, you will have many people standing by you.

Some influencers intentionally shill pump and dump projects, to enrich themselves since they are one of the earliest buyers, yet they will tell the world not to take their advice as investment advice, to safe them from possible law menace.

I don't bother trusting anyone of them, even the top well talked about YouTubers, I only watch their videos like seeking for information, it's on me if I am going to ever invest in same project they invest.
1399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Low demands as bitcoin declined in price. on: March 21, 2023, 09:08:00 AM
Bitcoin price can never be stable, even if the chart is showing pump signs, there will be corrections and there will be consolidations, this is a normal movement for Bitcoin price action, if shows how new you are to Bitcoin Mr. Godlovesyou, make sure you do your research on Bitcoin price actions, it is a volatile digital currency and the best there is.
1400  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: March 21, 2023, 07:09:03 AM
We won't be having this discussion right now if this person won the bet, I don't feel sorry for him because he was ready to lose the money, every one percent chance of winning a gamble doesn't clarify the winning, also it's hard to believe that this person is someone who is been greedy, he is rich because the money he lost is enough to change the life of many, he won't dare throw that away to gambling if he has no other big money like what he lost.
