1381  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: October 20, 2023, 05:36:30 AM
Keeping one's gambling habit a secret can be detrimental to the gambler if he's not disciplined enough to handle his emotions especially when he's losing in gambling. But for people who can perfectly handle their emotions, it's absolutely good if they decides to keep their gambling habits a secret.
For someone who's controlled by his emotions, telling few trusted friends or family members is good as they'll help to keep him in check when he's losing his money by stopping him from gambling more which might result to him becoming a gambling addict while for someone who's able to control himself even when he's losing keeping it a secret wouldn't have any negative effect on him
I want to know from what perspective the losses are obtained if the gambler keeps it a secret, wouldn't it be the case that hiding gambling could provide several benefits for the gambler himself. There are many families who will not let their children, husbands or relatives get involved in gambling, but they will never care if they have been warned but still carry out gambling activities as usual. After all, how do they control the flow of funds for each gambler because they always have a way of getting involved in gambling even though they no longer get the source of money from their family.

The only person who can control gambling is ourselves and other people only through encouragement. If they do not intend to stop gambling, this urge will also have no results, unless they are taken to a rehabilitation center to be treated mentally, psychologically or with extra care under supervision. That's the only way I know to cure addicted gamblers, because I have seen several people who finally managed to get out of gambling addiction through that method.

No one is happy when they lose bets conspicuously and there are times when you will need people or someone to talk to about your gambling lifestyle, people you can trust to give you good advice not people that you will tell and they begin to mock you and even tell you that so you've been lavishing your money on gambling that's why you haven't been doing anything tangible with your money. You tell people that will analyze the benefits and the disadvantages of being addicted to gambling to you.

Most gamblers tends to be addicted to gambling not because they actually want to recover money they've lost but because they see it as the easiest way to make money so I don't think it is advisable to keep one's gambling habits a secret because there are times when you will be so sad after losing a bet so it requires you to talk to someone to give you advice and courage on the need for you not to be emotionally attached to gambling.
1382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do your parents know about your gambling habit ? on: October 19, 2023, 11:31:28 PM
Most of the grown up people do not live with parents. At such, the parents are not aware about the interests and habits of individuals. Do you parents know that you gamble ? What was their first reaction towards your gambling habit ?

The reason why the society and our parents condemn gambling is because of losses, if you are a gambler that wins even if it is not all the time but when you win you tell your parents you won they might not really bother you much the only reason why most of our parents are against us playing gambles is as a result of not winning.

There are sometimes that you win a bet and your parents knows about the winning next time they will even give you money to play for them as well though this happens when you win and also give them a cut from the winning

My parents know that am a gambler but they're only happy with me when I win but if I don't win for sometimes they will start complaining that since am no longer winning that I rather quit instead of continuously losing
1383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can somebody make a successful career in gambling on: October 19, 2023, 11:02:29 PM
It's very possible for someone to make a successful career in gambling, only if he knows what he's doing, we cannot be acting in an irregular manners and expect something higher in return for what we do less, gambling as we all know takes money away from us, but when we engage doing other things, we will have more reasons to make gambling our best decision to do because we are going to have better experience in it when we do the needful for ourselves while gambling without allowing for any lapses no matter how small in any area of life.

How can one make a successful career in gambling when it is a game of chances like it's under probability that you may or may not win. How can you know what you're doing when you ain't the one that have the events sometimes predictions are made through previous performances then how will you know that a particular event will keep on winning all the time which is not possible because if it is possible everyone will actually become winners and the platform might shutdown due to severe winnings
1384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think gambling is inbuilt, kids don't learn it anywhere, they do it! on: October 19, 2023, 10:42:02 PM
I think kids tends to learn more from what they see, hear and I general, from their environment. In our society today, we see children of younger ages doing stuffs that even the adults might be scared to go about. Gambling is something that anyone can pick up from anywhere. Addiction is what we end up falling into. Disabling adverts showing gambling, won't stop a child whom his father gambles alot from gambling. The best thing is for the parents to advice their kids on the consequences of being addicted to gambling and why they shouldn't involve them selfs. Just like smoking, stealing or other negative habits can be herited, gambling also can be passed on.

You are right to some extent just as you said and I quote that kids tends to learn more from what they see and hear and that is the basis because even if a child seeing their parents gambling but is not aware of what gambling is about you will see that even if they wish to do what there parents are doing they may not have that zeal but if they are being publicize then they might feel that for it being publicize that there may be some benefits attached to it thereby they might start developing time and interest to know how it works, so one way or the other, gambling ads also aid in developing the interest of the child since they are easily deceived and convinced by what they see and hear
1385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: October 19, 2023, 10:26:42 PM
This is just the basics, but anyone should be aware of it:

Budget: set it BEFORE you start gambling and stick to it.
Have a break from time to time, it is important to let your brain stop and consider.
Avoid drugs / drink as much as possible, they will make you loose some control innevitably.
Seek help if you feel you are no longer in control. Make a phone call to a friend or go out and speak with someone.

Anything else anyone can think of? Like... read this post before gambling? Tongue

Very true. Especially budgeting.

When you don't budget on what to spend, you'll end up spending everything with hope that the great wins are not afar, when, in reality, they might not be in sight that day.

Another will be, have metrics for gambling. Just like trading, if you have a setup, you'll always wait for your setup to activate any trade rather than jumping into the market.

Same goes for gambling and betting, ensure to have your metrics of gambling before you adventure into it. Lets say you want to bet on a team and that team has been unpredictable in that season, just stay out of it and avoid the risk.

Setting a budget is quite okay because when you make budget  not only in gambling, it makes you stick to things that are within your budget and you have to be determined not to go against your principles no matter how tempting it is because I know there are times when one is in need of money so bad that immediately you lose a bet you might want to try more with the hope that you might win on several attempts.

And again avoid betting on too many events in one bet instead you can split the bet as there might be chances of succeeding in outcome of one of the event because the risk would be lesser compared to when you make so much accumulation
1386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on staying responsible. on: October 19, 2023, 10:10:25 PM
Never play gamble every day, you have to set your gambling budget and set out how many times you will gamble in a week. You can divide your gambling budget into the number of times you want to gamble for a week so that you will not exceed your gambling budget. For instance, if you have $30 as your gambling budget for a week, and if you want to gamble 3 times a week, you just need to divide the $30 by 3 to get $10, which you will use the $10 to gamble each time you want to gamble. If you gamble and lose the $10 just for a day do not try to recover your loss before you lose more by playing another one just stop playing for that day and clear your mind by taking a break before you can play another one again. Also, never see gambling as something that can give you financial freedom so that you will not get addicted by playing it day in and day out.

Inasmuch as gambling is concerned, gambling requires determination and discipline to be able to be a responsible gambler, if you are not self disciplined then you might run into depression whenever you incur losses.

It is advisable for one to set out time to play and amount to play as well as this method will help him not to get into so many losses at a time. Sometimes too if you're not too conversant with events that are being scheduled then you can discard placing until they schedule events that you're familiar with.

Recently I've seen alot of threads where people just jump into writing an incredible episode without putting their readers into consideration.
I'm not a fan of reading very long articles and most times I think some posts ought to be simplified and summarized to get ease of attention and from my observation,  it seems most users confuse quantity with quality and think, writing very long post simply means the post has quality  which is wrong.

I've seen very short and straight to the point post doing extremely  very well on the forum and people ought to them learn from  them.

It can be so confusing sometimes before you finish reading the article, you may even forget what the article is all about. Despite the fact most long articles contains details information of what the writer is talking about but it should be precise and direct then if the reader ask for more emphasis then you can explain more to them on what they want to know about your article, my own opinion though
1388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: October 19, 2023, 11:47:32 AM

Being able to manage your emotions when you lose when gambling is indeed a very difficult thing to do, especially when they use their last money to gamble, of course this will make them emotional. Yes, for those who have experienced many losses in gambling, it is better for them to stop for a moment so they can evaluate the game they are playing so they can improve it the next time they gamble. For some people who have experienced a gambling addiction, it certainly won't be easy to stop, but they have to try to control themselves so they don't fall into other bad things.

This is more reason why we shouldn't focus our energy in gambling whether winning or no winning, gambling should be taken as fun like even if you lose it should be taken as fun.

And again don't use money that you planned to use and do more important things to gamble as you might regret it after the outcome fails you. I know no one is happy when they lose but they can control their emotions when they lose because they took it as fun
1389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: October 19, 2023, 11:14:49 AM
I cannot quit gambling even though I knew and could not profit from this game. And especially, I am not addicted to gambling. I always control my emotions so as not to lose much money.
I love the thrill of this game. It's fun to play them. Whenever I have money saved, I set aside a little to try my luck. When I don't have money, I won't care about gambling. It could be a psychological adventure game for me.
We need to always test our willingness to leave an activity behind, sometimes I just stop gambling for a month not because I do not want to gamble a little bit, but just to prove myself that I can remain that long without gambling, so far I have been able to do this, however if for some reason I found myself thinking constantly about gambling or being unable to avoid gambling for that long then I will know I have a problem, and then I can take the necessary measures to avoid the worst possible outcome which is to become addicted to gambling.

Actually, after all. We are addicted to gambling because we always enjoy playing it. But from a particular perspective, we can control our behavior. We can stop gambling for a long time. But we still want to gamble later, and no game can replace it.
It can be said that this is a mild addiction. For example, I like drinking wine but haven't consumed it in the past few months, and I still feel normal. Controlling this action may be due to surrounding causes. Perhaps the main reason is that our families help us maintain this controlling behavior.

Inasmuch as I know, the reason why most of us derives joy in gambling is because of the fact that we see it as a way of making fast money if one eventually wins and again we stake with little amount and expect to win big.

Gambling most times is difficult to quit not because people can't quit but because we still hope we gonna win someday.

In life, almost everything we do involves risk and possibilities of making loses in businesses are there also so it's just dependent on our mentality towards how we can play safe knowing too well that the possibility of winning is on a 50/50 Chance.
1390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: October 19, 2023, 11:03:03 AM
I want to pose a question that I believe is quite expensive for many of us here, and it's a dilemma most of us can relate to. We all know that gambling is a game where we put our luck to the test. However, there's a crucial moment in every gambler's journey. the moment when you hit that big win. Do you cash out and savor your victory, or do you continue playing in hopes of even bigger winnings?

I've often wondered how many of us can truly stop playing when we are ahead. It's a challenge because the allure of winning more can be irresistible. I've witnessed situations where a friend deposited money into a casino, faced losses, and just when he was on the brink of frustration, he struck a significant win. Did he stop playing? No, he left his winnings in the casino, only to lose it all again.
So, I ask you all, what would you do when you finally make that big win? Would you cash out immediately to enjoy your winnings, or would you keep playing in the hopes of an even more substantial prize? Shocked

If i get you correctly you are referring to an instance whereby after making lots of losses then you finally won big either to call it a quit? Or continue gambling.

To me it depends on individual interest as sometimes you might want to quit and again you will remember how you made it big with just a little stake despite your initial losses.

One can still decide to continue gambling but shouldn't be attracted to the money won and should not take because you won big then you start staking big as this might result to losing all the money you won within a blink of an eye.

1391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: October 19, 2023, 10:50:54 AM

I know that the number of women involved in gambling is very small because in some countries, people's views of female gamblers are still very bad and they are considered dirty and unfit to be a wife.

Personally, I don't see the reason why I should consider a woman who gambles without her head as fit to be a wife. Woman are in-charge of running of homes and they are always in custody of the finances as its where they run their operations from.

A reasonable and responsible woman will definitely be considerate when gambling, if she has a passion for gambling and she will be moderate with her gambling budget as she will seperate it from the resources for home use.
But one without her senses wouldn't know the limit. Its a thing that has eaten deep down her fabrics, what is left of the control system in her..nothing.

The consequences to her family will be grieving as it will be repeated on a stead and that I can assure you, a man will not like to consider such a woman for a wife.

I want you to understand that inasmuch as gambling is concerned, a lot of people see gamblers as wayward, that is people that doesn't have anything meaningful with their life.

If not that some countries have been experiencing economic drop down that has made people to get more involved in gambling as a means of getting money easily if they win, our society have always condemned gamblers.

People do hide to play gamble because they're afraid of what people will say when they find out you're a gambler.

To me there's no difference between men and women is gambling as it is an individual choice so I don't see anything bad in women being involved in gambling or don't they want to make money easily too? Of course they do, so there should be no discrimination in women getting involved in gambling, my own point is that no matter the gender, everyone should gamble responsibly, if you're a woman, don't gamble the stomach of your family by taking the family feeding money to gamble. If you must gamble let it be your own personal money.
1392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: October 19, 2023, 10:30:37 AM
Referral bonuses are just baits to win people over. In reality, its not what its actually presented as. The conditions are always vague until it gets to withdrawal, thats when you actually know whats at stake.

So they get gamblers in through those ref bonuses and promise them juicy offers and at the end of the day, you have to either commit funds or you are required to hit an almost impossible target to receive the ref bonuses in reality.

You are very correct, it is very controversial how referral bonuses are being promised to a customer if they refer people but at the end you find out that a particular condition is being attached to it as sometimes you might even find it difficult to meet up this conditions thereby not having access to your referral bonuses and often times if they give you access to this bonuses they will urge you to exhaust the whole bonus on a particular event which is very very annoying

But I believe Cryptopreneurbrainboss is good manager and he will not tolerate his participants will post anything random just for the sake to increasing their post count.

I agree on this. The concern is not about the manager handling this since post quality can’t be improve if the participants that applying are shit posters. I will not be surprised if the manager will frequently remove user on this campaign or tolerate a medium quality post just to have an active participants.

It’s very hard to find a decent poster for that pay rate while the average campaign gives that payment for a 25 post max. Even Stake that offers much higher pay per post with high post quota fails to full their campaign until now.

In as much as I know that cryptopreneurbrainboss is someone that give fair verdict in his campaign, this credit can be confirmed in his trust feedback.

I believe that shit posters or low quality posters will be removed from this campaign as cryptopreneurbrainsboss is of reputable character and would not allow anything that will jeopardize his managerial role in the course of this campaign
1394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling on: October 19, 2023, 09:48:08 AM

I believe what most times what causes addiction is as  a result of chasing losses. When one goes after their losses, they end up losing more and doing that, they keep wanting to recover from their lose which makes it more difficult to do and this leads to uncontrollable gambling addiction which will be very much difficult to control for them. All these happens because they do not gamble for fun but with the mindset of making profit which is not bad but it calls for them to gamble responsibly and have self control.

I remember vividly when a friend of mine complained to me about incessant losses he had been incurring, then he now told me that he had made alot of losses and quitting will now mean he has fooled himself all these while then he said he can't quit without getting back the money he had loss do you know that he actually won that week and he was very happy.

My point is that it's not good to be addicted to gambling but moreover, sometimes quitting is not the best option as you might be at the verge of winning then you lose hope and quit. I prefer staking responsibly like don't stake amount that will devastate you if you lose, then don't borrow money to play gamble as well because you will run into debts if you don't win and it might affect your mental health and one may even run into depression.

The negative affect from international break is when some players are return to their clubs with got injured so that's why some of European managers doesn't really like if their players playing with their national team and recently it just happend to Tottenham that confirmed their defender player Cristian Romero condition was not certain after defend Argentina national team and if Romero will not available this weekend i think this is big lost for Tottenham because so far his duet with Micky van de Ven was very strong to guarded Tottenham defensive lines and for every matches Romero always be performing well so if Romero not available when Tottenham playing against Fulham next weekend i think this will have any affect for Tottenham performance later

Though international breaks do affect a players performance but that doesn't mean that a player should not turn up for her country.

International break or not players are likely to be injured on pitch so that's why it is necessary for a coach to buy players that will be a replacement if injury occurs to their key players.

I believe that inasmuch as a players fitness is important to his team, we should also know that a player can't make his team win alone as it requires team work and understanding to make a player visible on the pitch.

Though Cristian Romero defensive tactics with Micky Van De Ven has aided Tottenham hotspur in their campaign this season but I think a replacement like Eric dier can still help spurs against their match with Fulham

Mistake is inevitable in life, nobody is exempted when it comes to mistake, op I agree with you in this aspect, it is better to correct someone instead of lashing him or her.
Is just that people differ, op your message is straight and I agree with you, but you should know that forum is a community where you are opportune to get different ideas and criticism is part of the process, so newbies including me should grow a thick skin to absorb criticism here but the major thing is, learn from the criticism if eventually you are getting it wrong.

Yes no body is an island of knowledge as sometimes we are likely to make mistakes as without mistakes there won't be corrections. This is our local board where we can treat each other with love and care and also help people develop on this platform.

It is very bad how some of us just condemn others when they make mistakes instead of correcting them politely they start either insulting the person or demeaning them. Everyone is not perfect when we go to a new environment they ask questions, make mistakes before they learn about things concerning their environment, so it is here, everyone cannot share same idea or view things from same perspective but we should learn not to underrate anyone is this life as sometimes table do turn and the forum needs one another to grow
1397  Other / Off-topic / Re: money before Romance on: October 18, 2023, 07:52:31 PM
If the emotional relationship between you and your wife is based on money, then the family you are trying to create will disintegrate quickly. Social relationships are greater than that and are supposed to be built on better foundations. It is true that being poor will limit your social activities, including obtaining a partner, but you do not need to be rich to have one.
Well said. Money is not the basis if one can have a partner in life because romance is not only limited to rich people. Therefore, even a man is poor he can still find a romance, the one who can accept you regardless of your situation. Isn't it good that you found each other while you're not financially stable? Just shows she is not seeing you based on what you have or what you achieve.

Money is essential and a tool (no doubt) to have everything. But there are things that money can't buy and that is genuine love and happiness.

I think money shouldn't be used as a yardstick to determine the urge or love you have for a lover or partner. It is very surprising how a lot of people more especially the female gender considers people that gives them lots of cash as what qualifies a man's love for them.

Money of a truth can bring happiness to lovers or partner but it can not guarantee that the love they both have for each other is gonna last long.

In as much as money is essential in every relationship, it is also to be noted that sometimes the money may be there but that doesn't justify true love.

Most times I blame the male gender because they have benefits the major pioneer of making women feel that the amount of money a man gives them determine their love for them. Men use money as an exchange for sexual satisfaction and alot of ladies have now been with the narrative that before they get sexually attached to a man that money must be involved. A lot of men uses money to persuade women to love them but they forget to understand that the love may diminish if the money is not forth coming again.

A Complete Guide for Cryptocurrency Newbies "The Best Way Of DCA"

Introduction:

In the past few days, I have realized that many of the people like the DCA strategy for Cryptocurrency investment. So, I came here for my newbie’s members with depth and in an easy easy-to-understand way which may help them to increase their portfolio. I would say, for those who are new to the world of cryptocurrency, it may be difficult for them to decide like what should be their first step into the market as a newbie and how to navigate this difficult and often unpredictable market situation in the form of pumps and dumps. Well, the thing that really comes to my mind is that DCA is one of the smartest strategy for newbies to be adopted for good results. In this thread, we will study what DCA is, why it is a great strategy for newbies in the crypto world, and how to implement it more effectively. So, let’s Talk about DCA (Doller cost average) technique.

What Is DCA?
Dollar-cost averaging (DCA) is an investment strategy in the world of cryptocurrency where you need to keep investing a fixed amount of your money at regular intervals of time, no matter what is the current price of the asset you want to buy. This strategy makes you able to spread your investment over time and reduce the impact of market fluctuation. Like you can really overcome the dumps and pumps into good results whenever you take the average of it at the end of the day. DCA is well situated for the newbies in the world of cryptocurrency as well as the expertise of the market.

Why DCA is Ideal for Cryptocurrency Newbies

Reduce risk: As we’ll know that the Cryptocurrencies are well known for their price fluctuation. The price of each cryptocurrency changes its value from time to time. That’s why the DCA strategy is well recommended for newbies which can help to reduce the risk for one who is trying to time the market by making sure that he/she is buying both in upswings and downswings market trends. Additionally, DCA can be really helpful in reducing the average cost of all of your investments.

Avoid emotional decisions: The Cryptocurrency market is full of speculation, hype, and fear sometime these are created by fake social media news to catch the newbies in the traps. For those who have FOMO kind of issues, this strategy is well recommended for them to be adopted as DCA takes the emotion out of investing because of its regularity after some intervals. DCA investment schedule is a predetermined strategy. in this way, you can avoid your emotional decisions driven by market sentiment.

Best for Long-Term Focus: if you are a newbie and just started your accumulation of desired asset like (BTC) DCA strategy will encourage you for a long-term approach to investing, which is actually more rewarding than lump-sum approach. Instead of keeping an eye on daily price fluctuations, you just need to focus on your predetermined schedule means that the fixed intervals you decided to invest or take new entry into the market.

How to Implement DCA More Effectively

Set Your Budget: Keep in mind that as you are using the DCA technique. so, you need to determine your fixed amount for each interval that you can invest easily to take entry into the market. Let’s in case you are investing 10$ or whatever you can afford easily all depend on for each interval. Consistency matters here you need to be consistent here. This can be the best way for good average results at the end of the day.

I added this image for more convenience to understand how it actually affects your investment at the end of the day. Like in this picture which is the best way of investment Lump-Sum or DCA.

Select fixed time:
In this part, you have to decide you periodic time when will you invest. It can be weekly or bi-weekly and monthly as well. It all depends on your financial situation like which time is more comfortable for you for taking entry into the market as I have aforementioned “It can be weekly or bi-weekly and monthly as well”

Focus on Your Schedule: Once you've decided your budget around with your fixed timing, then you need to stick with your plan. To get the best results in your average results at the end of the day while calculating your portfolio consistency is key to success in DCA strategy.

Prepare Emergency funds: To be very honest, I did not aware of this before but while having a deep discussion in the buy and hold thread I came to know about it from JayJuanGee and other mates in of the thread. Your emergency funds should be in your local currency that you can consume in any unexpected situation to overcome it.

Time to time Review of Your Strategy: Take a periodic review after some months, to evaluate your average while doing DCA strategy. You can make any necessary adjustments if need to see more good results. Doing it, is really helpful to increase your portfolio by changing your investment frequency based on your goals and market trends. Do it only if needed like if you are not seeing good results then do some kinda adjustment in your strategy.

Conclusion:
DCA is a simple but yet powerful strategy that can be really helpful for the cryptocurrency newbies to navigate the unpredictable behavior of the crypto market. By setting your budget, and consistently investing over time after the decided interval, you can reduce the risks associated with crypto investing because the market is sometimes in an uptrend and sometimes in a downtrend so you are buying both of them at your fixed intervals and it can really helpful to increase your chances of long-term success. Remember that, DCA can be an effective strategy, but besides that, there are more strategies like asset allocation, diversification, a regular portfolio rebalancing which you can also adopt. It all depends on your research so Do your own research before adopting any of the strategies.

I've been looking forward to a thread like this as I've been searching for clarity on DCA but would have loved if this thread was being backed up with a source for authenticity. Moreover I would also love a thread that will further explain more on cryptocurrency and the steps that a beginner should take before investing due to the complex market analysis

I have often wondered about the people who have lost a lot in gambling and who almost loose in every gambling activity they participate. What is their reason or motivation to continue even after so many losses?
The losses itself.

If you are ever seeing those gamblers that keeps on going on despite the huge losses already, it is because of that. When you've been beaten for so many times and your money has been taken into your hands.

All you want is to take them back. But what happens for most is that they're taken for more and that's how it goes. It still ends up into stopping but that's like with some rage in the heart because of those losses incurred.

It is very unfortunate how some persons derive joy in loses, how can someone be doing a business and you're losing conspicuously then they still continue doing the business why don't they quit or rather discard it for sometime. Like in football there are weeks that matches presented are not too familiar with a gambler so instead of leaving it they will want to try luck knowing too well that the chances of predicting the outcome of the event is not cerntain

The increment or will I say the rate at which young girls jump in and out of marriage lately is something that have given me sleepless nights ever since the girl I so much loved left me for marriage 4 years ago, came back seeking for forgiveness.

I can vividly remember that fateful day she came to my house, bluntly told me she's no longer in love with me, she loves someone else, she's getting married to him. I was bewildered, that's the least thing I expect from my girl, I asked why? one of the multiple reasons that captured my heart is I haven't taken her to my parents, well as the other man have introduce her to his mum. Here she's devastated I only knew my girl have fallen in the hands of peer pressure "marriage" . I tried to call my girl back to senses -- you've just met this guy barely three months ago and you had already made up your mind to get married to him, you haven't known tangible things about this man of course --- she shun me, proudly said I have no right to contribute to her life anymore, she continuously aired out her grievances, myself deliberately knew she had already moved on before coming to announce the news to me.
I helplessly watched my little girl walk away from me in tears and never came back, it was over between us.

Four years later, she calls. hello guess who's on the line, ...... It's Becky. You have been with my number all this years and you failed to call me, why calling me now, i replied. We made out time to meet and she opens up to tell me she's no longer in the marriage, money is not everything I've come to realize she said.  Amongst all her pleas the highest plea she made to me is I should not ask her to go back to the marriage. we can still be friends this and that.

I'm in a position to settle or to shatter a broken home, she is vulnerable, she has a thousand reason not to be in the marriage, I do also have a thousand reason to make her go back to the marriage she chose over true love. I loved her she knows that's why she came back.

I need help...... What would you do if you found yourself in this kinda hectic situation.

I don't intend to demean your thread but I think this is an off topics and these thread is not related in any form to why this forum was created and has nothing tangible to educate us on this platform. So I think you should bring up topics that concerns the economy and other relevant information that will bring about people's opinion and views
