1381  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: January 19, 2016, 11:27:51 AM
I try to spend when i need something.
First i check the bitcoin directory for a match. Then I use google.

If all fails i use another webshop or go shopping in the city with my girlfriend.
1382  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the Chinese pumpers pump BTC up again in the next 30 days? on: January 19, 2016, 11:23:21 AM
First i was very confident that this would happen.
They tried very hard to get the price to 500 dollar.

But now they encounter a hard goal because after Hearn, there is way more resistance.
1383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to invest in betting sites? on: January 19, 2016, 11:17:35 AM
Offcourse it is. With more budget they can do more marketing.
More marketing will bring more customers.

More customers is more profit and so you get your investment back (if all goes well offcourse).
1384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets? on: January 19, 2016, 11:14:02 AM
Because every one has separate wishes.
I for one use the default QT wallet for bigger amounts of money.

And i got a blockchain wallet with ~0.5 BTC for daily usage.
1385  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How Cryptsy can save itself on: January 19, 2016, 11:11:24 AM
I doubt cryptsy can be saved.
A lot of debt, no trust. And offcourse the SEC investigation.

How can you even hope they cope up with all this?
1386  Economy / Speculation / Re: price going back up? on: January 19, 2016, 11:01:01 AM
We are steady at 385. Honestly I don't expect much the coming week.
People are dissapointed of Mike Hearn and the price has to suffer.

If the price goes up to 420 again, that would be great. Else we should be patient.

1388  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: January 16, 2016, 07:20:52 PM
Governments will want to make changes to the Bitcoin algorithm by adding identity information to the Bitcoin/Transaction. Without that bitcoin is inevitable, Governments will go mad about bitcoin.

Yeah they would never accept it, if the user can't be anonymous. This way they can tax it.
Something which go against the complete goal of bitcoin, which is meant to be anonymous...
1389  Economy / Exchanges / Re: why the ddos attack on Coinbase? on: January 16, 2016, 07:16:12 PM
Many rumors are coming around. Probably just like the words Mike Hearn mentioned. Any pools , exchanges, nodes etc which are running XT will get ddos attacks until xt are offline.. Attackers are hating XT.

The panic selling prevention which was followed up by coinbase being offline happened yesterday.
I am sure they were offline because some actual DDOS attack because of Mike Hearn.

It's too big of a coincidence that it happen because of the price tanking.
1390  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price is below 400$, What next? on: January 16, 2016, 07:08:27 PM
Next support is 340 dollar, so it will take a matter of days we will get there.
I am sure the selling has started and we end up (eventually) to around 300 dollar again.

Which is still a great value for your money considering where we were last year.
1391  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 16, 2016, 07:03:09 PM
I would invest an amount what you can afford to lose into Bitcoins as a long term investment. I think you will
earn more than the low interest on your bank account.

Yeah with the current price action it's very hard to make a reasonable profit on the short them.
Long term is quite easy to make some profit with btc.

Earning with interest on a bank savings account isn't worth it if you need to pay taxes on your holdings.
1392  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How Cryptsy can save itself on: January 16, 2016, 06:58:58 PM
I agree with the sentiment that cryptsy did lie but it's for users to decide whether to trust them or not.
Having an option to sell at loss is great since i can't see they will be saved other wise.

No way this hacker will return the funds...
1393  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Why no bitcoin mining farms in Sahara? on: January 15, 2016, 09:51:51 AM
Lol You would lose all your eanings to proper cool your miners.
Sure energy is cheap, but within 1 day your miners will be dead if you don't cool them.

It's way to hot there.
1394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How legal is to create betting/gambling site? on: January 15, 2016, 09:46:47 AM
Each country has a specific law on gambling.Don't mistake sports betting for pure gambling as in many countries except the few Islamic nations sports betting is still allowed over Casinos or poker cards.Few countries have a commercial license you may have to buy before starting your website. You should do a research based on your country. Here's something to get  you started :http://www.onlinebetting.com/legal/

Yeah the first thing you should to is to inform yourself about the laws of the country you reside it.
Else you could get a big penalty kickin in.

With the licences at hand you should pretty easy be able to start a site and start earning.
1395  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: January 15, 2016, 09:43:48 AM
The only way I would stop my job is i got a big win at some gambling site or something
Quitting your job without  having income is just plain stupid.
1396  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC = 1000$ in 2016 on: January 15, 2016, 09:41:18 AM
We are ready, but if just might be going to happen or not.
Now a lot of people that is panicking, because is going to 400 dollars.
We have a hope after the halving, because it can go higher.

The panic sellers are yet alive again.
I'm not sure why they are panic selling again. It's normal for an asset to go up and then go down again.

What's the need to sell again?
1397  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: January 15, 2016, 09:36:13 AM
For bitcoin to shine we need some real good news.

Either some big investment firm stepping in or perhaps some merchants accepting bitcoin.
This will lead to some snowball which would be great.
1398  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here we go sub 400! on: January 15, 2016, 08:57:40 AM
Most important lesson in crypto, don't panic sell. Take the the low value as opportunity to buy some more bitcoins  Wink

Lol if you see so many trolls, there is surely something up.
Right now the advice is not to panic sell. Just wait and see what will happen.

If for one will hold unles if we go under the 400 dollar
1399  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptsy is run by criminals who should burn in Hell!!! on: January 15, 2016, 08:49:38 AM
Only thing now is to :- do remember all the Cryptsy team , Cryptsy fanboyz and devs that were along/supporting in this show all the time together for future such events be caught quickly ! As its the same people making making GOX show repeat again and again ! Specially the fanboyz who where telling i totally trust Cryptsy and they never go poof ! Similar to Garza fanboys ! Without this fanboyz, truth would have came out pretty soon ! Blind dumb herd mentality followers !

It's true how hard it may seems.

But remember a lot of companies are just bashed for fun. It's good to have some solid people defend them when this occurs.
With Cryptsy though it wasn't just bashing, they were actually messing up.
1400  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Should I Buy used or new miners? on: January 14, 2016, 06:27:35 PM
Short or long term,  I can't see both as a good investment.

Most miners are way overprices (this includes the miners from our beloved Bitmaintech).

Bitmain price their miners just enough to think you have a chance to get ROI and if you are patient you will. But it will be in no scale towards the time you've spend.
It's a smart game they are playing, luckily most people see through it/them.
