1381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: August 28, 2022, 11:56:34 PM
I have seen this on the news feed while browsing my Facebook. Reading some comments there, I didn't see any positive thoughts about Paul Butler. This is also a mismatch for me and in the first place, it's just because Paul Butler has a title that's why Inoue has to take him to become the unified champion in the bantamweight division. I even think that Donaire at his current age is more powerful than Butler.

The funniest comment from netizens while I read some comments, is that Paul Butler should just give the title to Inoue without having a fight.
That was funny and partially true. Cheesy
1382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 27, 2022, 07:37:12 PM
Game fixing is possible to make this a long series, if TNT wins game 4, the lowest possible games will be in 6 games. I like to believe in game fixing as well, so I'm with you on the prediction that TNT will win.

That was too much and you guys are disregarding TNT's talent, skills and chances of winning.

If they will win next game, that's already considered a product of game fixing?

Alright, maybe we just have to watched the game live and see for yourselves if there's something unusual on that game Smiley
1383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: August 27, 2022, 07:25:58 PM
I think I'll disagree with that, for sure either Crawford or Spence will chase for that rematch if in-case it's not really clear who really dominates the fight as the fight did end with a decision but if it's a KO/TKO then I think there would be no rematch needed at all even if a rematch clause is written in their contract. A rematch can happen for sure but the people won't be that interested to see anymore because it's already clear to them who won because as I said the match has ended by a TKO/KO.

This fight was struggling to become a reality for several years. What's worst for a rematch? Cheesy Maybe it will take several years again. But seriously, if either of them will win, I think too that no rematch will happened since their respective goal is to moved up weight.

Just for speculation:

if Spence win = no rematch since as everyone always says, Spence always dodge Crawford. Now that he beat Crawford, no reason for a rematch.
if Crawford win = there will be rematch since as always Crawford accepts any challenges for his legacy.

But correct me if I'm wrong, after a unification match where one becomes finally the undisputed champion, it's unlikely to have a rematch between them right? Since the undisputed champion will now moved on to his next goal. Correct me on this.
1384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: August 27, 2022, 07:19:13 PM
Let's take that as a valid excuse, but if you look at the other side, Martinez could also use that as an excuse if he loses the fight. now, there are no more excuses because they are given a rematch if Ancajas think it's the adjustment that made him lose the fight, then for sure, he can make the right adjustment in this fight given he had plenty of time to prepare.

Pretty good point. Fernando Martinez is also not prepared for a specific strategy against Ancajas but still, he won. It's because he was prepared physically and mentally. There's no need for him to formed a specific plan on how to counter Ancajas but instead he will just do his usual boxing form that he trained for before their fight. Adjustments will follow once they are now fighting and it turned out good in favor for Martinez.

Sometimes it's really sick to hear reasons for losing instead of accepting the defeat and come back in fully best form next time.
1385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are your favorite dealers ? on: August 27, 2022, 07:00:32 PM
Sometimes online live casino games are boring even when you win because the dealer is not good at all while other times you spend a real good time despite losing because the dealer is very entertaining and funny.
So do you have one (or more) favorite dealer at an online casino? What's his/her name? Which casino provider does he work for? What games does he manage? Why do you like him?

In my whole experience of betting in live casino games, I didn't bother to focus on dealers. As long as I have an interest to play that casino game, I will just play the game. In live casino, I even mute the sound as what matters to me is to wait for the results.

Since this topic was being raised, is there really a popular dealer at live casinos? On what site?

I'm pointing to crypto-casinos since we are in crypto-forum.
1386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this the Extreme of Gambling Addiction? on: August 27, 2022, 06:53:27 PM
After reading the article, I can conclude and assume that those arrested people did that illegal thing not because of the gambling addiction.

There's an intent of stealing money and it was all planned right from the beginning. That's shady doings are their expertise from the start. That maybe their bad doings for long and it's just that they just finally caught now.

Although the news was in gambling portal website, I don't think it has something to do in gambling in general.

1389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it advisable as a starter to engage in future trade? on: August 25, 2022, 11:56:57 PM
When I login to my trading App (Exchange), I do see an option for future trade and when try to give it a try, I will see a notification reading "Future trade can be very risky".
Is it advisable as a new trader to engage in future trade?

No. Familiarize with Spot trading first and gained some knowledge of how trading works.

There will be no such caution as "Future trade can be very risky" just for nothing.

After becoming used to how trading works, you can now start learning how the future works. Do some trials with a fair amount and start learning.
1390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 25, 2022, 11:54:32 PM
Honestly, I think there will be a lot of trash talk in the Lakers locker room, considering Westbrook wasn't very complimentary about Beverley a few seasons ago.

I thinking the other way. These players will disregard their trash talk history on a certain player once they will become teammates. These guys are professional and will surely work as a teammate. Unless the trash talk is nothing personal, they will just forget it and work as a team.

Good thing also that Westbrook and Pat are playing different roles and expertise. Even though they will not have a friendly status, there's no conflict in their respective positions and roles for the team. And if they will play badly because of that history, LBJ might put a banhammer on them and ask the management to trade these players lol.
1391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: August 25, 2022, 11:49:48 PM
If we refer on GGG's last fight against Murata, there's no aggressiveness on GGG on the early rounds. Lots of punches being thrown successfully by Murata and all those are good shots. There was even lots of solid punches that Murata gave on GGG during the first few rounds.

While the fight is progressing, GGG now slowly get back on track and becomes beast mode. Murata can't answer now and that leads for GGG to a knock out win at Round 9. That proves that GGG still has the strength and power to end the fight in a KO Victory.

But that situation shouldn't be applied against Canelo. Every rounds count and matters if fighting against Canelo in scorecard.

You can't compare Murata with Canelo. The latter is at an entirely different level. When was the last time Canelo got KO-ed? Even his loss against Floyd Mayweather Jr. back in 2013 was not from KO, but from majority decision. Golovkin is the king of knockouts, but I don't think that he has much of a chance to repeat that against Canelo. Anyway, I agree with the prediction. Canelo is likely to win the initial rounds. I expect Golovkin to make a comeback from 4th round onwards. But it needs to be seen whether he can win 7 out of the 12 rounds (especially with the judges being biased towards Canelo).

Can you point out where is the part where I compare Murata and Canelo?
Can you even read the quoted part about why my reply is like that?

You even disregard the last statement of my post where I said the situation that happened during GGG vs Murata shouldn't be applied against Canelo where GGG allows some punches to be thrown at him in the early rounds. That's suicide for GGG if that happened against Canelo.
1392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 25, 2022, 11:44:24 PM
A close game by Gilas. Not bad against one of the top teams in Asia. Lebanon even said that the game was so tough and the Philippines gives them a competitive match. Jordan Clarkson slows down in the second half after becoming a scoring machine in the first half. He exceeded his usual playing time in the NBA. He played the entire second half of this game aside from more minutes he played in the half. Although he can, that is exhausting.

At least, they now see how their chemistry works. Hoping for an adjustment next game.
1393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: August 24, 2022, 07:40:56 PM
The problem is I don't think being aggressive from the start is the nature of GGG and probably it could be a problem if he tries that. But if he also takes too much time to set the pace, Canelo is going to try to take advantage of that as well because he scores points often in the later part. So, GGG will have to approach with caution. He can be aggressive but he will have to be careful so that he does not get too aggressive and let his guard down. Because he can get countered and knocked onto the canvas.

If we refer on GGG's last fight against Murata, there's no aggressiveness on GGG on the early rounds. Lots of punches being thrown successfully by Murata and all those are good shots. There was even lots of solid punches that Murata gave on GGG during the first few rounds.

1394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you play Slots? (long sessions / jumper / focussed) on: August 24, 2022, 07:26:42 PM
I guess mood affects us with that change of behavior and why some keep on looking until they find the fitting slots for them. It's the preference that they have and sometimes it's different from us and sometimes it's the same preference.

Actually that's true. Mood plays a big role and most of the time and it varies per user while having in the session.

Depends on the slot if that gives us winnings, that's the time we will decide if to continue playing on that slot or go on to others.

That's the reason while sometimes I'm doing the Option A then if my mood swings, I will do the Option B. If what slots will give me a good winnings, I will stick for it until I realized that something is not good now.
1395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Employers Screen Applicants for Problem Gambling Before Employment? on: August 24, 2022, 07:14:40 PM
I don't like that idea. It's a clear violation of our privacy. It's unethical for me to ask that question to their applicants and used that as basis if they will accept that person or not. What if that person properly passed the initial interview that leads them to be qualify at the final interview.

If that question is being asked, these employers are already judging the book by its cover.

Refer to their performance later on, if they are not doing their properly their work, then take an action.

That's the reason there's a probation period for around 3-5 months at most, before upgrading the employee into regular status.
1396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we gamble or trade? on: August 24, 2022, 07:04:23 PM
To solve that problem by OP, then why not just consider doing trades on top exchanges and platforms like Binance? I know they are also prone to fake volumes and not a perfect tradinf platform but we can bet that's not the case there most of the times. If not preferred using Binance, then another top exchange like Kucoin. Not saying Probit exchange is not that good but since OP wants to avoid the gambling part in doing trades, which can't be avoided, then focus on reputable trading platforms like I mentioned in order not to encounter fake volumes trades.

Either way, it's not always the trading platform as the reason why you will lose on trade but rather your own strategy.
1397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy coins on: August 24, 2022, 06:57:18 PM
What do you believe to be the best privacy coins (excluding Monero) ?

P.S: I'm not asking for financial advise and I'm not looking for the next 100x, it's about the level of reliability and safety those coins can offer.

Not a Monero fan but since they already well-established on the field of being a privacy coin for a long time, I think they are on the top.

Might be more risky if you will choose other coins which is not that being considered by many. Who knows though if there is/are.

Is that just what are you trying to find out?
No related to investment or something?
Just looking for other privacy coins that can be considered as best?
1398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which option will better to take? on: August 24, 2022, 06:47:12 PM
But my question is more adoption of btc and taking it as legal tender aren't going to harmful for the economy of a country, specially when btc is in bearish ?

Regardless of the Bitcoin's trend, either bullish or bearish, still, if its use as a legal tender, it will be used as how usual fiat currency was being used. I don't see how it will harm the economy where in return, it's still a currency. No changes at all. In the first place, bitcoin was meant to served as a currency.

Although expect some more regulations, maybe more strict ones once it becomes a legal tender in a certain country.

Like to see someone here from El Salvador and share experience on how's the feeling that bitcoin is being used everywhere on that country like fiat.
1399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think metaverse have a place in the world on: August 24, 2022, 06:36:54 PM
Technically, Metaverse will bring something new if it will be fully utilized. The technology will not be created in the first place, if it's just about non-sense and not useful as a whole. It should supposed to bring changed in whatever field or industry it will be applied and integrated.

In Crypto, Metaverse concept gets a hype in just a short period of time when it was first introduced. Good examples are AXS, SAND, MANA etc. Although since it's crypto, expect that Metaverse hype will be affected obviously by the price actions of Bitcoin.
1400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which new NFT creators should people be watching out for? on: August 24, 2022, 06:27:05 PM
From what I observed, NFTs related to collectibles is much risky to invest with. It needs hype and there's no big reason why should we collect those unless a big fan or just want to simply collect it. Even those NFT's related to popular personalities aren't that hype. I know there are NFT collectibles that got hyped before but it's only few.

It's really risky to invest in NFT nowadays as it requires lots of factors to consider before placing a money with a specific NFT.

My suggestion is not to stop being a NFT fan. Just continue to follow those you prefer and use your best skill in terms of DYOR before putting money. You should also looked for other worthy investments outside NFT instead.
