1381  Economy / Speculation / Re: I feel strong fear ... on: March 08, 2017, 01:08:40 PM
Having weak hands is a good thing. It means that you are not stupid. And it will make you a good trader as long as you can keep your emotions under control.
Well maybe but having weak hands sometimes is not a good thing since you might sell your coins too early resulting to you having less profit or no profit at all. It might make you a good trader if you not only keep your emotions under control but also if you learn to dump at the right time that is when you know that price will fall down soon but I partly agree with you since sometimes having weak hands specially on crazy pumps like what happened in 2013 was good but most of the time it isn't.
1382  Economy / Speculation / Re: I feel strong fear ... on: March 08, 2017, 11:18:33 AM
This is good.

Weak hands are shaken out.

Let those weak hands be shaken out and do not fear about price being dumped down to sub 1000$ it will rise up again anyway. It is good to see  that you think that this is good for bitcoin though you fell strong fear. Don't worry I know it will rise up again in price soon especially if ETF is approved. Let's just wait for it before dumping and wait to rebuy some bitcoin again. I hope it will be approved.
1383  Economy / Speculation / Re: Jihan Wu crashes the Bitcoin price on: March 07, 2017, 08:33:40 PM
Mining mogul Jihan Wu single-handedly crashes the Bitcoin price by supporting BUcoin.

Dumb low IQ Roger Vermin and the rest of delusional BUcoiners celebrate that Antpool mined some BUcoin blocks. Just hours later, the price crashes into oblivion.

The Powers That Be failed to hack bitcoin, but they might as well kill it by good ol "divide and conquer".

Good job, Jihan, now you'll soon be emperor of a worthless token.

Hahaha LOL. He just dumped his own bitcoin and he didn't crash it. Let them celebrate antpool miner mining BUcoin blocks if they want I just know it will be worthless coin but there is the chance that it will pump but it would be worthless later regardless but they dont care the only thing they care about is the profit they will get.
1384  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price will not crash if the ETF is rejected on: March 07, 2017, 10:47:36 AM
I think a lot of people is going to go bankrupt with their short expectations.

ETF or not, bitcoin is growing and too strong, it will keep growing. If the ETF is rejected, it just means we are closer than we were from an ETF getting accepted. The SEC will give up the final recommendations and changes required for the ETF to get passed the next time. This is a long term race. ETF rejected means nothing. Shorts that are expecting a big crash may have their short positions backfire.
I agree with OP that price will not crash even if ETF is rejected after all we all can see that bitcoin is strong nowadays resisting attempted dumps just months and weeks ago especially on new years eve. We have seen bitcoin fall down below sub 1000$ yet it had risen again. I will just hold all the bitcoin I got and decide at the right time to sell it I hope im online at that time though.
1385  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin break its own record !! on: March 06, 2017, 12:37:29 PM
Bitcoin really have broken its own record this year and for me 2017 is yet one good year for bitcoin. I really do hope that this price movements that are good will continue until the end of the year and I hope that I am online while movements are happening. Someday bitcoin will break its record again and it will continue to increase in price because of the law of supply and demand.
1386  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy at $780-800 USD on: March 06, 2017, 10:48:23 AM
I really think OP and those who believed in him is now happy having profit from way back new year time. For now all I can say is wait for another price movement to sell so that you will have lesser regret when the price go up. So to have profit buy at every dump sell at every pump. That way we can be like OP who smiles whenever there is a pump or big pump that occurs.  Grin
1387  Economy / Speculation / Re: POLL : ETF approval or disapproval on: March 05, 2017, 11:05:09 AM
I think ETF will be approved since they can't ignore bitcoin's technology for it was being research by many institutions interested in blockchain. I think that if it is approved, there will be a stable and good healthy pump that will occur instead of a crazy pump from 1200$ beyond 2000$. I think it wouldn't happen to pump like that in a day since they will not all buy at the same time.  Smiley
1388  Economy / Speculation / Re: expecting correction? on: March 05, 2017, 03:47:16 AM
I am really expecting some correction before pumps occur again. I guess the correction will be between 1000$-1100$ but it will not be lesser than that until ETF has been decided. If it is rejected we might go under sub 1000$ but if it is approved, I guess we will see another one crazy pump that will happen for hours or so on maybe a day. Let's just hold for now and be wary for bitcoin's price movements so that we can dump at the right time.
1389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is anyone gonna sleep tonight?? on: March 04, 2017, 01:31:41 PM
I guess tonight I can sleep tight even if bitcoin has gone under rally up or down because I will let my money work for me. If price increased, Well its good and if not then okay I will just wait for another pump than losing sleep over watching bitcoin price movements. Its better to set sell to a target price so that I can sleep tight tonight or set buy at a targrt price too.
1390  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin ETF announcement March 11 what do you expect? on: March 04, 2017, 12:34:38 PM
Despite what people say about "Slim chances", I think the ETF will go through. You can't put a rate on a educated decision. It's also not just the Winklevoss ETF that is being pushed, there are a couple more.

Bitcoin and the blockchain is being researched and used by major fintech companies already, I doubt the SEC will be daft enough to not approve it.
Maybe you are right nut there's still the chance that it will get dissapproved but I agree with your statement that ETF will go through if they consider that blockchain itself is a great technology. In my opinion though some might try to control bitcoin's price especially finance corporations wanting more money if this gets approved.
1391  Economy / Economics / Re: ETF - Will be approved or not? Price will grow up anyway? on: March 04, 2017, 06:44:50 AM
Its obvious what will happen if ETF is approved. Of course there would be a big jump in price since corporation money and such will begin entering bitcoin and I don't think that many people are buying bitcoin now because of ETF so there might be a dump when it is denied but it will be not that big, not enough for bitcoin to go down to sub 1000$ prices. Surely right now bitcoin is really holding it's price to the prices ranges we see now and it is really strong.
1392  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin prices go to the moon? on: March 03, 2017, 12:08:28 PM
Its hard to say when bitcoin will really go to the moon but if this price ranges continues to be stable as it is now. We will see later this year a good pumps and dumps that will occur in bitcoin market. Probably this expected pumps and dumps will happen mid april or may maybe later since I am just speculating. It might not also happen so let's just hope that this speculation will come true.
1393  Economy / Economics / Re: Remember when Bitcoin reached parity with the $ it's now just passed Gold on: March 02, 2017, 10:14:59 PM
Well maybe right now we are happy that it had just passed gold. Someday maybe this will be yet another historical mark on bitcoin that made people trust it more than they trust it before this event happens. Someday though we might not speculate about 1000$ and such as bitcoin's future price but maybe more, way more than what many are speculating now.
1394  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: March 02, 2017, 09:40:34 PM
I think bitcoin has not really defeated gold since the gold market was larger than crypto-currency market right now and the users of gold is more than the user of crypto-currency. Bitcoin just passed gold in terms of price but it didn't defeat it yet and I guess it will never be since bitcoin is seen as an investment opportunity by many, not as a currency that can be used to pay online for services.
1395  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: March 01, 2017, 08:52:38 PM
We can see by now that the past bitcoin halving is really having a good effect to bitcoin. The price has rised since that day maybe because the supply that will be mined will be lessened. It might not be the factor but the lessening of dumpers that are oftenly miners earning from mining who dump straight away has lessened bitcoin to dump.
believe it or not halving besides making the price to be high as it is today halving make the miners to be reduced
I do not know why it happened. but it gives a nice effect for bitcoin
It was mentioned in the quote though, but it happens because miners have lesser bitcoin to hold everytime they have succeeded and mining. Miners earning from mining who dump straight away has lessened bitcoin to dump. With lesser bitcoin to dump by them it means that the force that will counteract the buying force will be lessened. That's just my opinion though maybe there are other reasons.
1396  Economy / Economics / Re: If the ETF fails and large BTC sell off happens can coinbase exchang fail on: February 28, 2017, 11:45:37 AM
Once this ETF decision comes public, the Stock guys have their sell price veiling and floors. With the volatility of BTC, these BTC sell orders within the BTC online exchanges will all be wanting to be executed at once. Can the small upcoming BTC exchanges handle that volume when that happens, Or will thousands of stock speculators find that their holdings in online BTC are up in limbo. .It seems that exchanges cant cash cover the sell orders, possibly even other smaller online exchanges.   http://www.coindesk.com/coinbase-just-stopped-serving-bitcoin-hawaii/
Well I guess exchanges won't fail even if ETF gets approved or not since they earn money with every trade and those exchanges are only like midmans or escrows which hold funds for users and transfers them to another when an order is being fulfilled so I see no problem here. Also, how is the link you mentioned OP related to ETF at all? I guess coinbase stopped serving bitcoin users in hawaii it is because of some law there that bans bitcoin.

1398  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: February 27, 2017, 10:06:29 PM
We have many people working with btc in these days, and this price, give a fucking support, only a BIG FUD coming from a big market like china can manipulate this market in this days

China is now the one following other exchanges. Right now the manipulation can come from basically any large exchange. It's not that the markets are focusing on China anymore. People have been tricked into thinking that the Chinese exchanges were the most important authority like figure in Bitcoin, but they are not. Even when Chinese fud is finding its way to the internet, the impact will be lower than it was before -- China's significance is lowering.
I agree with you, since people got used to Chinese spreading fud for bitcoin to dump. China's significance is lowering as you said. As bitcoin is becoming more distributed among countries, their dominance in terms of bitcoin volume decreases which makes way for a new country to go on par with them. Right now, price can be manipulated but Chinese is already out of the question since their impact on the bitcoin market is lessening.
1399  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: February 27, 2017, 01:10:28 PM
I kinda agree with OP's title that trading is just educated guessing. It is not guessing the price because of just a pure guess but a guess based on analysis and facts. There will be no guaranteed profit even if it is an educated guess OP. A trader is not sure if he/she will earn with his investment since even if it is based on analysis and facts it is just a guess. Even if you have an insider info, there is a chance that you will not earn but at least the chance of you earning from your investment increases when you have an insider info.
1400  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: February 26, 2017, 09:02:06 AM
In my opinion bitcoin is not even as popular as US Dollar yet. I think it ain't since it is not widely used right now by many people only a percent of the world's population use it but many knows it but thinks of it in a bad way. US Dollar on the other hand was trusted by many since it was fiat currency but soon in the near future though bitcoin might be more popular than US Dollar but it is still a possibility in the future.

Well this shouldn't even be argument at this time at all. Bitcoin will grow and evolve and most possibly become the main digital currency which is accepted by most people around the world. But it can't compete with the dollar or with any other fiat currency as they would have different use. The dollar will always be relevant and no other currency will shake it's hold out of the market.
Well yeah you got a point. Maybe in the future, bitcoin will be popular but it will be used like credit card but it's a lot safer since giving it out is not that risky since one can just give your credit card details with stranger to pay while bitcoin address cannot be given by a stranger to another people to pay, and he would need to have an access to your btc wallet first before doing that so the flaw of credit card is solved by bitcoin which I see would make it more popular.
