1381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 04, 2022, 04:18:21 PM
Moving forward, there are 5 games tomorrow. Hope you all find the best pick..

Yeah, I have already found my best pick and I'm confident with it.

I got the following picks to bet on
Suns @-75.
Cleveland @-3
Spurs @+6.5.

I'm quite tempted with the Lakers game but decided to pass for now, they are so unpredictable, can't trust them even at home.
1382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big Wins of 2021 ($550,000+) on: January 04, 2022, 03:47:45 PM
What's the telegram account for? To contact you in regards to your betting picks and advices? I think this isn't for free but hoping there are reputed members here that can vouch on your picks just for legitimacy check, something like that. If that's just fine on your end.

By the way, congratulations on those nice picks you've got, looks like you're whaling.

Something fishy right? I dont know that the telegram for if it is for service then well it is kinda good but now a days this kind of strategy is to attract people because of winning big so it means that his strategy is working and sort of will share it to the telegram group on which before joining it needed to pay or what. But what ever the reason of it , i am really amaze about your winnings and kinda jealous i dont know if you are lucky or you do have something . Congrats on that and more winning for 2022!

Telegram name some like OP is giving "picks", not sure if it's paid or free but I have a feeling that it's not free. Anyway, as long as what OP share is true, it's up to us if we will contact him/here or not, but winnings like this inspires people to try to be better in sports betting.
1383  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elsavador President Predicting $100,000 Bitcoin price looks like another joke on: January 04, 2022, 07:49:04 AM
Since the OP doesn't post links, it's not 100% clear to me, but I understand that Bukele predicted the price was going to hit $100K in 2021 and now he's predicting it again in 2022. About 2021 is nothing unusual. All predictions (other than Bitcoin haters) gave a minimum of that price.

Regarding 2022, it is not so strange because there are many people who think that we are in a delayed cycle, and that the blow off top so characteristic of previous cycles will happen in 2022, although now there are also people who are beginning to doubt whether the top of this cycle is not already touched with almost $70K last year.

So, you can question what he says, but I certainly don't think it's a joke.
I don't see it also as a joke because bitcoin upward trend is definitely going there. It might be this year or probably the next year around. But i have high hopes that bitcoin will start to surge its price in the next days before the bear season comes, and definitely end up with a new all time high. Although the market still looks unstable because most crypto prices are in decline, but if there's big positive news that will suddenly change the market condition, i think bitcoin will skyrocket again reaching its new all time high.
1384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is really controlling the Bitcoin market. on: January 03, 2022, 11:55:24 PM
Let the whales do the manipulation, we can't stop the manipulation of the whales, but as long as we don't panic and can be more patient, everything will be fine.
Panic and not patience are normal, not everyone can handle this well. At least, don't rush to decide anything, learn and analyze everything first before deciding something. Many people become victims of whales' manipulation because they rush to sell their coins or buy any coins. Also, the people who don't understand how whales work, probably those who never learned about crypto market trends. That's why learning and research (analysis) are very necessary for investors or traders.

Weak hands are mostly affected by this whale's manipulation because they easily panic and decide to sell their coins without even thinking its consequence. But if they only went to research first and create good analysis, they will not tend to loss in the end.

The fact that we know bitcoin is decentralized, then no one can control it except for those big whales who are holding significant amount of bitcoin so they tend to manipulate the market. Other than that, those negative news and events create negative effects in the market which will result into sudden decline of the crypto prices.
1385  Economy / Economics / Re: New Year - The crypto economics on: January 03, 2022, 08:39:01 PM
Not only you are addicted to the forum and cryptocurrency. Same here, I am also addicted to the forum and cryptocurrency. Last year almost went best for cryptocurrency economics, and good for my economics. I can say last year was Bitcoin adaption year although it's just beginning. I am expecting more adaption this year and more institutional investors as well. To be honest I am waiting for a dip to accumulate Bitcoin. Not sure if I would succeed here, but waiting for a chance.
You won't really know if its the deepest dip so at least you should start buying bitcoin when there are good opportunities to buy. After all, buying bitcoin even at its high price will still be profitable in the future, as long as you will hold it in long term.

However, my last year's economy was not that bad after all. I still end up making profits in bitcoin even if its not really huge. So in 2022, my goal is to accumulate more bitcoin and eventually good altcoins to diversify my portfolio. I guess this year may be full of excitement again, so i'm looking forward for future gains and inevitable losses this year.
1386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 31, 2021, 08:51:13 PM
I imagine at some point in the near future the offers for Ben are going to start getting worse, not better.
If he will not be traded, he might struggle to find a team when his contract is over. he still believes that he has a high value but what we are seeing now is no teams are willing to risk on the demand of the 76ers for a trade of Simons.

I still think he should go to the Kings, but they don't have much to offer.  I think the Lakers might be dangling Russ out there, but who knows.
I guess Westbrook's experiment with the Lakers is over, he does not really fit, so why not try Ben Simmons? I think 76ers would be pretty much open for talks as Westbrook would be a huge addition to them.
1387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 31, 2021, 08:26:33 PM
I'm just going to stick with the New York Knicks -4.5 vs OKC Thunder, and Miami Heat -3.5 vs Houston Rockets, I really don't trust the Lakers or Dallas Mavericks, those could have been my 2nd choices.

GL Everyone... Wish you all a splendid year ahead!

Nice choice, two favorites playing on the road this new year, good luck too.

The first game has already been concluded, Boston ( the underdog) beating the Phoenix Suns here, a nice start for the Boston but a bad bet for those who back the Suns on the road. The next game (currently live) is the bulls, let's see if they'll get this Win.
1388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: December 31, 2021, 04:34:18 PM
Everything would be settled inside the ring which is always been the deal and lets see if Thurman is really prepared and would be good if starting up the year with a win.

Exactly, but I expect Thurman to win here because if he will not, I'm afraid his career will be similar to Broner which is slowly going down now. I remember also when Thurman got surgery, he was also inactive for a while but when he comes back, he still win, so his situation now is quite better and I have no doubt he will win if he trains hard.

Thurman is well rested, and it seems he is already willing to go back and bounce from the Pacman defeat. Broner is different case though, I mean he is really very arrogant and boastful to the next level and that's why when he lost to Maidana, all the hype is gone.

Thurman can still go back win this fight and then fight the winner of Ugas vs Spence or even go directly to Crawford if he can get him to fight him after this.

Thurman only lose to Pacman, no one beats him aside from Pacman in the division he is campaigning, so I think despite the fact that he rested for years, he still got the skills and his power punch to punish his opponent, and his opponent now is a lower quality compared to the boxers he beat in the past.

Now that Pacman is already retired, Thurman is coming back to try to win and dominate, that has been his goal from the start, it's just that he took the risk of fighting Pacman and failed, but despite that, people are still happy with this boxing journey so far and they still believe that Thurman is a championship caliber fighter.

Every boxer has that kind of goal, to dominate and to become an undisputed champion in a certain division. For Thurman, he was once a champion but got stripped by Pacman, so this fight is like the start of his journey again to win the championship and he has to win it as it's his ticket for the next big fight. I would always believe that Thurman is not done yet, he can still fight and will become a champion again.
1389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: December 31, 2021, 03:09:13 PM

Let's talk about the potential Inoue vs Casimero fight after this fight, if Casimero will be successful, there's no other fight that would fit him than Inoue, so as a fan, we should expect that the mega-fight we are waiting for will happen and as what the odds suggest, Casimero is an underdog so I like that much.

We've been talking about that a lot this year, and it looks like we always believe that Casimero will win in every fight so he would have a chance to fight Inoue. Against Rigo, I thought that was a tough fight for Casimero but it doesn't look like a real competition as Rigo is just running around to score, unfortunately for him, he still loses the fight, but here, Butler is a warrior so these two warriors will go toe to toe which makes it interesting.

That's just normal to talk about Casimero and Inoue because they are champions and as fans, we like to see a big fight which is a unification fight, so we also try to help push to make it happen, in terms of money, for sure this fight will gain a lot of money and Casimero is willing to take a lesser share of the slice just to make the fight happen.
1390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 31, 2021, 10:57:02 AM
The biggest game last night which is the Warriors vs Nuggets was postponed. Too bad I would miss watching the revenge of the Warriors but it's okay, I'm sure they'll win next time.

@danherbias07 , good way of ending the year, nice win you got there, even with few games, you still manage you win more games. I like to follow your picks tomorrow, please if you can post a few.

1392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should you sell ethereum and btc to buy Solana/SOL? on: December 30, 2021, 09:40:27 PM
Solana could be a unused promising altcoin that outperformed dogecoin to be positioned up to seventh put on CMC. And based on its cost final Admirable 15 2021 it is as it were 44$ and presently its current cost is 157$ based on that super Sonic cost development from 44$ to 157$ for just one months, I think Solana is sweet for brief term venture, what would be your bits of knowledge almost this folks.
Good for long term or brief term investment?

I don't think you have to sell Ethereum in order to buy Solana. This is due to the fact that Ethereum is the largest network with the most developed ecosystem, which tells us that the price of the ETH coin will continue to rise. If so, what's the point of selling ETH? What I would do is simply buy Solana and continue to hold both ETH and SOL. It's just that they are two promising crypto assets that are better held together than selling one to buy the other.
Exactly. You won't be making profits if you sell a profitable coin to buy another promising coin. You might be losing in the end. It will be much better if you hold both ethereum and SOL and only sell them when their value hits another ATH and buy back again when their value becomes cheap. However, selling bitcoin for SOL is never a good idea. Bitcoin will always be the most profitable coin so it should always be kept and hold safely as it can give us huge profits when it starts to skyrocket again and end up in its new ATH.
1393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will MEME coin rule the world? on: December 30, 2021, 03:39:08 PM
I think it is impossible for MEME coins to achieve such a success. In my opinion, they don't even deserve the position they are in now. They will probably disappear from the market once their popularity is over.
The memecoin that will stay in a good position and in a popular market is Dogecoin, besides that all of them will disappear and will never come back to life when they die, because anything that goes viral during hype is something that has no power at all like most tokens memes now.
Dogecoin is certainly the first meme coin that was hyped by Elon Musk and when he stops shilling it, its price starts to fall down. And the rest of the meme coins that appear today are just a parody of dogecoin. So if there's a chance that will be given credit, its Dogecoin. But it will not come to a point the these meme coins are going to rule the world. Joke coins will not last longer as they only live if they are hyped. So coins with no great purpose and has even no real life usage can never rule the world, instead bitcoin deserves it all.
1394  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can you really predict Bitcoin at this time on: December 30, 2021, 09:24:52 AM
We cannot predict the bitcoin price specially today when it said to be as very high on volatility that even the people who has spent thier time for so many years on crypto still cannot predict on it. Bitcoin is not different from the past it is still bitcoin who is the most biggest coin in crypto the only different is that it is now very high on volatility.
Until whenever people can't predict bitcoin accurately, people can only make predictions in general, today bitcoin is in a bad condition, the correction that occurs is making it more difficult for bitcoin to survive this year at the maximum price, I think this year bitcoin will experience a decline, both the selling price and people's interest in investing, conditions like this make it difficult for people to make predictions.
Although we are currently having a hard time right now making profits in bitcoin, but let us not forget that after all of this, bitcoin market will always recover and let's see how high it will skyrocket again. But if this condition will continue into its bearish season, then we can't do nothing about it but wait for the market to be stable. Despite all of this, we should always look for the bright side of bitcoin. We can always predict its price but there is no assurance that we can come up with precise prices. No one can see the future price of bitcoin but one thing is certain, it will always come up with higher prices throughout the year.
1395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I know legit and scam investment? on: December 30, 2021, 07:52:19 AM
Ponzi scheme = scam
Pyramid scheme = scam
Cloud mining = scam
Investing in altcoins = some are legit, rest of them were scam.
Staking, invest in centralized entity = not scam, risk involved

I already summarized the common stuffs in this space about such investing or earn money, I think it's enough to answer your questions since your post are still ambiguous and I don't know which scam you talking about. If you want to free from scam I suggest only buy Bitcoin and hold it in non custodial wallet.
That summarizes it all. But if you want to be more aware on the difference between legit and scam investments, keep learning and go with the details in crypto. Most of the time, scam investments look very legit since they also come in a legit way. But you will only discover that this particular project has turned into scam when you lose your capital and steal it from you. You're right, if you want to keep on the right track, prioritize bitcoin. And stay away from being greedy since its always the cause of falling you into their victim.
1396  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital asset is for holding on: December 30, 2021, 07:10:49 AM
Digital assets is indeed for holding but not everyone are in a fit position to hold even if they want to, I've been in this space for years now and I can say that you need to be prepared financially to hold coins and tokens successfully for a long period of time, you have to have job secured first, I mean enough to carry you on, then you will hold with ease

That's the point ... not everyone is in a position to save anything! Before putting aside anything of value, we must be financially able to do so! Only financially secured people, with income from more sides can invest further in digital or any other assets and hold them for a long period of time! I guess longer we can hold more benefits we can get, but there's no holding if we are short with money every month!
Most times we don't just hold because it's convenient. Life is all about risk and sacrifices and ones the big picture is placed ahead of any investment plan one might decide to hold even longer just to save for the rainy day. Many investors who earn big today made heavy sacrifice that weren't convenient at all
I think success comes from sacrificing your time, money and effort. In crypto, you can't hold a coin successfully for a long period of time if you won't be sacrificing your capital. So at least you have another source that can generate an income, then you will be at ease holding your coin for quite long and you won't be easily affected by all means of dumps because you know you are going to sell once the coin reaches its ATH.

However, its not only holding digital assets becomes profitable today. If you look deeper in the crypto space, there are a lot of means to make an income. Just suit yourself so you will be comfortable working in it.
1397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin upgraded my financial life on: December 29, 2021, 10:57:57 PM
Good to know that you are doing fine and the backbone as you mentioned to your success is bitcoin. It's a good thing to note that handwork is required of anybody that would want to get financially free whether on the cryptocurrency space or in the real world because life has it's own means of operating. They is no short cut to wealth. And it can never be too late to start your journey on cryptocurrency in general. Time flies before you look back and watch your work the results will be like what OP is experiencing right now.

So, OP try to educate people around you about your success, and don't forget to mention the hard part of it to them.
Cool comment there is no shortcut to success as all success requires hard work and dedication which is the primary tools for every growth, Bitcoin has helped a lot of us financial but the truth is will not advise op to educate every random person about Bitcoin I guess it is better to choose them wisely and inky educate those who are willing to learn and also tell them the risk involved also.

Bitcoin can indeed help anyone who wants to know and use Bitcoin, but still it must be accompanied by hard work and patience. Because Bitcoin
will not be able to make our finances increase instantly, so it does require a fairly long process. It is not easy to go through the process to be able
to benefit from Bitcoin, therefore do not be surprised if there will be people who experience failure when investing in Bitcoin. It is we ourselves
who ultimately determine whether we can gain success with the help of Bitcoin or not. Lazy people are close to failure, therefore don't ever be lazy
to learn about Bitcoin, then make success with hard work.
Hardwork and patience indeed because this isnt something that you could just simply sit down and wait for you to make money and this isnt how it works.
Bitcoin could really give out that opportunity on upgrading your life but not all would really be able to attain that condition because it all matters
on how you do it and a bit mix of luck when it comes to this and dealing with this will really vary on how you do things.
You wont succeed if you dont put up effort and hard work.
Bitcoin will always be capable to give us good profits but it won't happen as simply as that. If we will not exert good efforts and skills, then we should not expect profits in the long run. It will only be possible if we are doing the right thing and with a good purpose.

I have felt what OP is experiencing now and all we can do is be grateful about bitcoin and continue to share our knowledge on bitcoin and share it especially to less fortunate people.
1398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stick to altcoins or switch to Bitcoin or stablecoins? on: December 29, 2021, 10:04:17 PM
Market is witnessing some gradual dumps and it's a know fact that altcoins will bleed more than bitcoin and they will be stable or recover only when bitcoin recovers and pumps. So will it be wise to hold on to Altcoin or switch to Bitcoin or convert the funds into stablecoins and wait for market to either start recovering or to dump further to buy more in order to reach breakthrough for the lose which we might have incurred till now.
Not a financial advice, but for me, if I am with bitcoin, then I hold my bitcoins because like we all know, this thing can't be predicted and sometimes, the market might just be waiting for you to sell before the parabolic move starts, which causes one to end up regretting the decision of selling, so I honestly don't really care about the market movement once I've invested, be it in bitcoin or altcoins, I only convert to usdt, money I plan on withdrawing to my local bank account in no long time while I monitor the market.

But on a investment I've kept for long term, I normally don't care which way the market is going, I always hold tight until my target or my set period/time.
If you can bear the risk in hodling bitcoin, then stick with it. After all, bitcoin will always follow an upward trend so if you can hold for a longer time possible, then more likely that you will gain huge profits. However, with altcoins, they can be more profitable compared to bitcoin but the risk is definitely higher. But do not expect that altcoins will always be profitable as they are more affected when bitcoin price suddenly dumps.
1399  Economy / Speculation / Re: The good moves of Bitcoin. on: December 29, 2021, 08:33:36 PM
Do we really know the good moves of Bitcoin and the nature of the market.
although no body is hundred percent sure on the moves of Bitcoin, If you think you know it all about Bitcoin it will definitely disappointed you. we can only be close on or prediction but not hundred percent correct.
we do try by studying the market and know the demand, This will help us know how the movement of the market and the flows of the market through the chat.
everyone should contribute on this topic and tell us there different opinions and ideas.
is good if we can know the good moves of

Well, that exactly why they say Bitcoin is a highly speculative asset, because nobody knows what happens with the price next, the least we can do is to speculate, and through speculations we can influence the price action in crypto market.
Even those financial experts and other self proclaimed experts really doesn't know the future of Bitcoin some of then didn't even know what they're talking about.

And you know what's the good move of Bitcoin? It's volatile as always, but the value of Bitcoin is increasing each and every year pass.
That makes bitcoin more unique. We know we can't predict its price correctly but we are certain that its value is going upward in every year that comes. And you will only do better and create good opportunities in bitcoin if you never stop learning from it and keep updated with its current trends and events. The fact that bitcoin remains volatile is a  big challenge for us that we end up with educated guesses that have solid basis.
1400  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy more so you can sell some on: December 29, 2021, 07:26:56 AM
You should stick and follow your strategy on investing. All the investors and traders know how high the risk is when it comes to investing in cryptocurrency. We have no idea when the coin will pump. Or how long it will take to see the profit.
Yeah, most of the times when I am trading I don’t really look at what other people has to say, I just have to do what is going to be right for me depending on my situation at that moment. We are not the same and our conditions are also not the same. So, some of the actions we have to take usually has to be because of the situations that we find ourselves in and whether we think that action is right for us to take it or not.

There are other factors of life that can affect our decisions. But it’s also good to have the principles that guides you in everything that you’re doing so that you can stay on track and not derail from it.
Of course, never invest or trade if you are not sure of your own actions, make a decision that comes from solid bases. And focus on your own goal so you can achieve it in the long run without relying from other's decisions. And as long as you have good strategies to follow that will work on you, then you will be able to lessen the risk.
