Cryptsy feels very unsafe, what if their servers crash and people lose their coins?!
I think they are just slow because of everyone trying to get there doges in there. My deposits have been working no problems, they just take FOREVER. Define "Forever", over 14 hours? Please everyone post how long it took to deposit on crypsty since the price was 79 yesterday. About 8:30 EST. It was half-time during the seagulls/49's. I sat watching the stupid transactions instead of the second half. I'm a fucking retard. I think this shit ain't for me. Edit: Such Ignore! I must have 20 spammers and haters on Ignore now! |

I'm fearing a big dump after this incredible rise !  I hope so I had a sell order of 6million at 55, which completed on sat morning!  All aboard the fail rocket! Don't feel bad I sold all mine at 39 and bought back at 79 and now it's been frozen in crypsty transfer for 14 hours.  Lousy 14k for weeks of work. |

Sounds like BS to me, all the other transactions were completed and Hours is a Joke and they want us to wait a Day before putting in a ticket! What are they on drugs? Computers run on ms not hours and days. If you had a website where literally thousands of people were depositing the same coin, you would have to queue the deposits also to balance server load. While that is true, It would not take (9 hours so far) more than a few minutes for a database update even if there were millions of transactions. I Supported Oracle DB's for massive companies (one of the top 3 semi-conductor manufacturers in the world) and do have a clue. And if the Server load was so high that a simple DB field could not be updated I can Goddamn guarantee you that you could not see ANY trading happening on the front end. This looks like an inside job to me, taking advantage of time in trades is a scam as old as exchanges. |

Always happens when Cryptsy has a ton of volume going through. I guess they are like a lot of the mining pools. Promise they have x amount of servers with x amount of cool specs, but can't actually deliver on their promises. You have to give it time, it will take a while to get through. They won't scam you though, I can promise you that. Thx, Is there anyway I can get those transactions cancelled? I'm getting burned watching the price fall. If I had known the Doge would be in limbo for hours I would have never bought it. Dammit! |

Tons of walls that seemingly dissapear in the blink of an eye.
Just stick a sell order in at 10 satoshi higher than the going rate and hope that a big fish comes and gobbles up 100-150BTC worth again, at least that way you have a bit of security.
Cant trade against the 1-2 satoshi fluctuations anymore too many orders - well i cant at least!
The more people that do this as you suggest the higher the walls on the sell side become causing fear on the buying side and lowering price. So you are hurting yourself. |
