Bitcoin Foundation Blew $4.6 Million in 10 Months

The Bitcoin Foundation(TBF) Founding Director Jon Matonis explains the $4.6m loss in 2014. Funds were drained by exorbitant monthly expenses, conferences and the falling price of bitcoin. Today the ex-VISA employee advises Bitcoin entrepreneurs on funding.

The role of the organization that introduced lobbying to Bitcoin and attempted to meme-ify titles for Bitcoin developers remains ambiguous. Despite recent announcements purpotting a change in focus towards development, questions remain unanswered. Like, what happened to the 5800 bitcoin mentioned in their 2014 transparency documents?

Here is the issue. A farmer, whether thc or corn, normally uses futures contracts/ contract for delivery, in order to hedge their costs. If a farmer is storing all of their money in thc coin and thc coin takes a dive the farmer is screwed. Likewise fertilizer costs go up and down, the farmer has to hedge in order not lose his shirt.

A better idea would be to use bitcoin for a contract for delivery style future maket. Then when this "Candy" strain is in high demand people can trade futures contracts. If you don't want to use bitcoin then you could use nxt.

When you have developed a proper cannabis futures market then you can use that to help determine the fair market price of this commodity. However the current method of needing a separate coin system (ie: potcoin, corncoin, soycoin) is flawed. Maybe someone could create a nxt MS coin called cannabiscoin and tie the issuance to how much crop is produced then destroy them when smoked.

OK so I have the opportunity of talking to the person who made this later what questions would you ask to establish if it is actually real? I have already asked to see the block chain but he said he didn't want to waste his programers times as when it launches it will be working with etherem when public so it will be a waste of time.

Also currently there are no wallets to download only the ones you see in your back room etc.

Another claim is that this coin is coin to be backed by gold. I.e. If the coin is worth 1 usd then you can trade it in for 20 cents of gold.
