I really didnt want to believe in this Cryptsy scenario... Was just reading the topic and following story unfolding. But it seems obvious now it was all true.

It is never good to cover up the truth. That was the big mistake. If they were hacked or had their coins stolen they should have come clean and face the consequences...

Good news Smiley . Bitfinex credited lost LTC today on my account. They were able to recover it. It passed just 8 days since I made a mistake.
So this bad experience ended well. Hope it will help someone. And I hope LTC team implement some kind of code so this cannot keep happening to users. Thanks Bitfinex for their professional service and all of you guys for helping me out.

13870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: LTC sent to BTC adress on: November 11, 2015, 03:37:16 AM
Thx guys for the updates. Unfortunately it is sent from Btce to Bitfinex multisig adress. I contacted the support and they were  kind enough to tell me they will try to recover them and that it could take at least a week. We will see what happens, but there is at least little hope. There should def be some tool on every exchange that prevents this kind of user error.
13871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / LTC sent to BTC adress on: November 10, 2015, 04:32:22 AM

@dev , What are you doing regarding security on the exchange? I think that is the most important thing, because no one wants to see a "exchange has been hacked, sorry for the inconvenience" message ever. Number 2 priority for me would be trade engine, for fast and accurate order executions...

I only skipped through it but clearly the writer has very limited experience on many subjects around P2P... If that is the quality of developers Sys is hiring good luck.
EDIT : Much of the info re: Shadow and its ShadowMarket is incorrect.
EDIT2: Blockchain is NOT the always the answer!

Interesting... Please elaborate
