NEO has gone down quite heavily during the past 6 months and even the trading volumes have dropped. But the future potential still looks good and I would rate it as one of the top-10 most promising projects in the crypto-world.

I am using cointracking.info to track my crypto holdings. The advantage is that it is having a very simple interface and they list almost all the coins and tokens (including even some coins which are not listed in coinmarketcap).

I am interested to invest on a not well known coin and newly released, what are the factors I need to consider to take a look to know if this coin has a bright future?
Can you give an example of a altcoin that you think will have a good value in the future and why? please give your explanation.
Denarius is a promising project in which you can join. The current market-cap is around $2 million, and it has good future potential. You can set the medium term target at $10 and long term target at $50 or $100 per coin.

You should not wait to buy because it might begin to start recovering soon. Buying ETH now should be the best decision for any investor to take because ETH still has the potential to rise,so anyone who invested in it will surely make profit.
IMO, it is better to wait until it is clear that the markets are recovering. We cannot discount the possibility of yet another crash, as some of the users were predicting exchange rates of $4K or even $3K a few weeks back.

how to protect your wallet myetherwallet.com The most common method of phishing used to target MEW is by using similar looking URLs. So make sure that your URL is correct. Other measures include securing your password, private key and the system which you use to login to the MEW.

How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.
Thanks!
As far as I know, there is no mandatory minimum amount. Some of the exchanges do have a limit on the minimum BTC deposit, such as 0.01 BTC. But most of the exchanges don't have any limits, either for the BTC deposits or those done with alts.

If you check how much value these coins have lost from their peak valuation, then Ripple emerges as the top choice. But if you look at the future prospects, then it looks much more brighter for ETH.

Overall, this is a good thing and was something that needed to happen. Bitcoin was certainly becoming very sluggish in December.
LOL... December was like Armageddon.... I remember paying as much as $40 in transaction fee for a single transaction. Two years earlier, I was paying $0.02 on average for each of my transactions.

Now tomorrow again Zimbabwe will be losing against Australia by a big margin. What's the point in giving Zimbabwe so many opportunities to play against quality opposition? If you give the same amount of chances to Afghanistan, Netherlands, Nepal or Scotland, then these teams will be able to challenge the top-8 teams in 4-5 years.

The VAR system is pretty random sometimes. Spain was robbed of a clear penalty at the end of the match that would have given them a win, and even after VAR, he said that it wasn't a penalty. I don't get it. Anyone that can see the video footage again + VAR it will see it was a clear one. Maybe they don't want to leave Russia out because Putin is watching?
There was no penalty there. Both the players were involved in some pulling and all.. but that was not enough for a penalty. Now compare this to the Serbia vs Switzerland match. Serbs were denied a penalty, even after Mitrovic was wrestled to the ground (in WWF style) by two Swiss players.

Yes, that is correct, over 80% of the ICO's now a days are scam this because of the popularity of digita currency today makes scammers want to fraud each participants and investors. Better to research good ICO into the forum to avoid mistake on fake ICO's this time.
The problem is that nowadays anyone can start an ICO. Obviously in some of the countries, the ICOs are either banned or under strict regulations... but then there are a lot many where there are no restrictions at all.

ETH is one of the alts worth investing in, provided that you take the necessary precautions. I would never keep more than 20% of my crypto net wealth in Ether. It is not a safe crypto-currency.

I would rather advice medium-term investment rather than long-term investment for ETH. I am not 100% confident about the future potential of ETH in the distant future. A lot of competitor coins are emerging and the fees is once again trending higher...

Morning all
I just wondered what people think about how the market will respond over the next few months, and what people would recommend to invest in now, because of its current low price, compared to the end of 2017.
Thanks everyone.
The market is showing some early signs of recovery, probably due to the announcement made by Nobuaki Kobayashi (Mt Gox trustee) that he won't be selling anymore of his coins. But it is too early to say that this recovery will last or not.

The crypto world is so vast and they are interest from all continents of the world. Some investors / projects came with good intentions to make the world a better place while some to defraud investors and projects founder. Can we have a better way correct scam and lapses?
First of all, you need to differentiate between genuine business failures and scams. And secondly, most of the times you can avoid the scams by taking certain basic precautions, such as analyzing the white-paper and researching about the team which is behind the ICO.

I had invested one ICO previously, it failed although I didn't contribute a huge amount on it. A news yesterday made analysis on blockchain ICO projects, mentioning 92% of these ICO projects are failed.. Should I stop investing the others or any really potential ICO suggest?
I made a few ICO investments in 2017. A few of them were successful and the others failed. But the scene completely changed in 2018. Even good projects were failing to achieve their soft-caps and those who did so listed at heavy discounts in the exchanges.

I can give you examples such as Bitsend and Deep Onion. These coins have very low market cap (less than $100 million USD), but their user-base is quite big and the trade volumes seems to be growing.

And that is exchanges who are keeping coins/tokens hostile for a long period of time. When I deposit or withdrawal from an exchange often times it just keeps it in pending status. Now I'm waiting for an idex deposit, 4 hours passed. My worst case was a withdrawal at cryptopia which took 30 days.
Crypto is not ready to be adopted by the masses. Lots of suicides would be the result...
Withdrawal from Cryptopia took 30 days? Which coin did you used? I am using cryptopia for the past two years, and I have never faced such an issue from them. However, once my BSD deposit was confirmed only after two weeks.

Many of the users have mentioned about alts such as NEO, NEM, ADA and Waves emerging as the competitor coin to Ethereum. But the platform which is most commonly used for the creation of tokens after ETH is Qtum. So right now, it is one of the strongest competitors to ETH.

The answer is no. Bitcoin never ruins a nation. Most people who invest in bitcoin and altcoin make a lot of money. So the people in these countries will be rich, so bitcoins are driving economic development in many countries. Hmm... it may not ruin a country, but it can ruin the banks. And that is the reason why the banks hate Bitcoin and the other crypto so much. On the other hand, presence of Bitcoins can result in additional job opportunities and an increase in tax revenue.
