The earth isn't flat. It's concave. Our eye are goofy, and only make it look globular. notbatman will tell you different.

Not all videos like that are fake. You found one that might be fake in part.

Often there are anomalies in things that we don't think about. Somebody shows us what they are, and then we realize that we were wrong.

So far it is looking like you are right.

Cool

well i am a bit dumbfounded that you are looking smarter and smarter.

and i am looking quite a bit sheepish about my belief.

Now I see a flawed video. why do it?

I can give more then one reason.

But can any wizz kid math science 🧬 guy.  Come up with a different math solution?

7 minutes free fall seems correct.

it took 7 minutes but there was 1 minute full braking burn. clearly visible.

and there was some steering rocket mini burst. also clearly shown .

then missing footage and boom a 7 minute landing time.

have to,say no wants to touch the thread.

I-would love ❤️ to hear from notbatman as here is exactly what he has said there areinconsistent clearly wrong space videos .
13902  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: It is 2020 time for a new diff thread. on: June 01, 2020, 01:14:44 AM
the idea that 50,60,70 watt gear drops out for 5-6 cent miners is interesting.

almost every other company is over 50 watts.  very few pieces of gear are under 50 watts when it comes to innosilicon avalon or WhatsMiner.

EDIT:

nice  we just blew past 10k.

Maybe we shoot past 11k by the morning .

we can use a massive price uptick.

10-11-12  would be nice.  I would love to see a real rally here.
13903  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: It is 2020 time for a new diff thread. on: May 31, 2020, 08:49:40 PM
Well it means about 161/144  which is +11.8%

vs all the 120/144  which is -16.7%  which was the first five or six days of this jump

all time diff was 16.5  we are at a diff of 15.1  so in theory 15.1 x 1.118 = 16.88  since that is a very tiny amount over all time diff.

16.88/16.5 = a 2.3 %   very little new gear and a lot of old gear may have caused this

or some new gear and some old gear

or lots of new gear and very little old gear.

or really good luck.

My guess is  s19 pro and s19  shipped in 10,000 units to 20,000 unitswhich is

1000000 th   - 2000000th
      1000  ph - 2000ph
            1 eh   - 2eh

plus people turn on break even gear to be ready for the diff drop.

if true  we do -9% this jump

then +6% next jump

then unless price moves we see a drop.

of course this is all short term thinking.  and 1 day at 161 blocks can be followed by 1 day at 137 blocks as variance and luck are a factor.
13904  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 2% fee solo mining 255 blocks solved! on: May 31, 2020, 03:27:15 PM
Ok guys, lets do our first  solo round, after the halving.
Now that diff. Adjusted in our favour, our chances of finding a block are higher.

There is no minimum amount of participants, or maximum either.
You can gamble any amount of btc, starting from 0.005 to 0.03.
If we find a block, we will split the block reward between all the solo gamblers percentage-wise.

We will start our solo journey in 5 days.
Write down you’re nickname and send me a pm, if you’re in!

P.s We will also donate 1% to ck from our solo pot, and 1% if we find a block.

1. ailikun   0.01 btc
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

I am holding ckpool donation funds in 2 addresses

1F8JWHPVt2FzxeAyPDUP4hmeRPweJZEFYj

https://btc1.trezor.io/address/1F8JWHPVt2FzxeAyPDUP4hmeRPweJZEFYj

and spill over is here

https://btc1.trezor.io/address/17JgeZrjHtzF944FGmT1nZnXZN7so7YUFp

both addresses hold the total funds in the trezor wallet. which are about 0.0348215 before this 1%

Note as this fund increases over time I will distribute more to ck for future  server use.

I do not want to hold more then.  0.12 btc or more then 1000 usd.  at any time so I will make a distribution if and when we get back to this level.

Note these are on my grey trezor.  in legacy account 2

If I move coins for any reason I will post here.

13905  Other / Off-topic / Re: Flat Earth an apology to notbatman and Badecker on: May 31, 2020, 12:19:57 PM
84.3 kilometers was how far they said the booster was from earth

at time line 4:30.19.  they show the booster firing steering rockets.

they show steering flaps moving and at around 4:30:58. the booster does a long burn to slow it from falling.

the burn ends at about

4:31.30

at 4:32:11 the camera dies on the booster

at 4:32:42 they show where the booster should land

at 4:33:00. that camera dies

and at 4:33:12. they show the booster is landed

WTF faked landing.

Once I saw this I realized both badecker  and notbatman. are correct about at least one thing they are faking parts of the space program videos.

they is more to this at 4:33:50. they have a dinosaur ballon.

think helium ballon. and think how weightlessness should be.

the ballon behaved like a helium ballon more then a weightless object.

Also why use a ballon why not use an actual plastic model with some real weight?

So here is what I have concluded this space shot has two clearly faked parts.

For those that are challenged about the booster.  Please check into free fall rules.

A  booster or for that matter a bowling ball dropped from 84.3 kilometers takes some time to fall to earth.

4:33.12 - 4:26:17 is about 7 minutes

clearly shown on the un-doctered  feeds on YouTube

 https://www.angio.net/personal/climb/speed.html

if allowed to free fall it takes about 2 minutes and 11 seconds.

but as clearly shown it used rockets to steer it to the ship and rockets burned to reduce the speed 1 full minute.

So while the math shows you could get it to land in under the 7 minutes they claim it took to land it. the idea that two cameras fail and we have no landing imagery is pretty far fetched.

Okay I went to religious school from K to 8 th grade.  Due to my life circumstances I decided to not follow my religious upbringing.  I am mostly of the mindset I am a stupid idiotic moron when it comes to true religion so I let it be. When I die I will find out what's up.

That said I watched Elon Musk's Space shot yesterday.  I can say without a doubt and 100% certainty that part of it was faked.

lift off is at 4:23:36

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMsvr55cTZ0

At 4:26:17

the booster is dropped.

it is at a height of  84.3 kilometers

it is at a speed of 6706 kiliometers per hour

if you follow the tape on you tube which I watched live on discover channel  you will see the the booster  sinking back to earth

at about 4:28:37 they show it above earth and if you watch you can see it falling

SpaceX launched humans in space ! Congratulations to SpaceX !

Next step docking to ISS

Final step landing safe home...

---------------------------------
Elon Musk did it !

Now i want to start my own space company Smiley

Not sure but the booster rocket 🚀 landing appeared to be faked.
13909  Other / Off-topic / Re: The space age is upon us. on: May 31, 2020, 12:50:33 AM
I know the term has been used since the late '40s, but I feel it's only just begun.  Today the US launched two astronauts into space on a completely commercial rocket, for far cheaper than any space mission the US has executed it's self.  The age of commercial space flights is a distinct possibility now.  Maybe within my lifetime, and most probably within my children's lifetime average humans will be able to afford a flight to the moon or even Mars.

It's really an inspiring thing to witness, and would be even more amazing to have some participation.  I can't help but think we're on the brink of learning so much about our solar system.  The possibility of sending humans to the moons of Jupiter and Saturn seems more likely today than it did yesterday.  I hope I live long enough to see it.

Did you notice that the booster landing appeared to be faked?

13910  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: T17e review. on: May 31, 2020, 12:02:32 AM
use the hiveos version for T17e until vnish will be ready

i use the hiveos version and it´s working good right now

I muscled my t17+  to run 🏃 with lower volts. my middle board does not over heat and I am getting over 63th with lower watt usage.

I used stock bitmain firmware with page inspect.

the gear starts at 17.1 volts and more often then not it sticks at 17.3 or 17.7 or 18.1

any of those settings dont over heat the center board.

if i dont do page inspect it settles@ 18.3 to 18.5 which over heats and shuts down the center board.

So I can say

1)I think kano steals blocks with his pool and it is not legal to do this.

I can't say

2) kano steals blocks with his pool and he is a criminal.

Well if he wants to say I "think" Phil is a liar and uses hacked + modded firmware which I "think" makes Phil a criminal.

Fine with me>.

If he wants to post he thinks:   I am a criminal, but that he has no  actual proof  of me running hacked firmware to mine BTC or any other sha 256 coin.

For the record

I don't think kano steals blocks with his pool.
I don't think kano merge mines on the sly with the pool which would be legal but sleazy.
I don't think kano intentionally acts in a criminal manner.

I do think he is wrong to keep accusing me of running hacked firmware.

Decided to lock this.  strike it up to covid-19 quarantine.  just too stir crazy 😜

kano do what ever you want doesn’t really matter.

Is there a web page of info about it.
13913  Economy / Reputation / Re: I want to address this post by kano on: May 30, 2020, 09:30:18 PM
Well calling someone a criminal without proof shouldn't be allowed imo.
No need for escalation for the moment since you contacted him but members starting to shoot each others with criminal shouldn't be encouraged here.

Question: if someone called another criminal, does this justify negative trust? (not talking about this case).

Also I am not a lawyer but I also think that the activity that is claimed to be criminal is actually civil offense.

Ie you get sued and not jailed.

Which means it is not a crime.

I don’t really care for myself in as much as I am not doing what he claims.

But I think if people are indeed doing what he claims the recourse is in a civil court not a criminal court.

Since I don’t have proper knowledge of each and every country’S rules I would not want to say I am sure about this.

For 🇺🇸 USA I think it is civil offense.

I don’t write any firmware. I am a self  admitted idiot stupid moron about my ability to do this.
which was pointed out by kano years ago. I simply am too stupid to write a firmware mod.

I sell new and used gear and I mine.

I use bitmain and brains 🧠 software on my bitmain gear.

I sell modified bitmain s9 gear ⚙️ with braiins software direct download from braiins website.

or bitmain gear with bitmain firmware.

So whether it is a civil offense or a criminal offense  I simply don’t do it.

I do worry that forum could be harmed  if people that supply the modified firmware sue the forum for allowing a post calling them criminals.

This forum is USA based.  I do not know Law really well but I do feel the post in question has crossed a line.

It is actually directed at a lot of USA based people.

I am not sure it is a properly worded statement.

Thanks for your quick response!

Yes, indeed the IP assigned by the router for the B8 is 192.168.0.8

But even so, it does not enter through any browser.

With the PuTTY program it allows me to enter but I don't know the commands that I should use to configure with that method Sad

I figured the above was true.

Just wanted to be sure.

I don't know the ssh commands.  This forum does not have a strong bitfury section.

please note I am not sure how to complain about this or where to complain so I will start here.

The Reputation board perhaps?

But if you're asking moderators/admins to get involved - they won't. And to appeal personally to kano you probably don't need a separate thread.

Well we have been at it for around 2 years.  ever since I told him he was misapplying a formula to state what a pool should have in its reserves.

He decided I was a moron and a stupid idiot.  Which I have decided to completely agree with him on.  I am most Likley the most moronic stupid idiot of all of BitcoinTalk.

I don't mind agreeing to my idiocy and moronism I am cool with it.

But being called a criminal is something I don't take lightly.

So I figured the gambler that I am I would take a shot that kano would accept my request to remove his accusal of me in this case.

I even would agree to being a gambler a moronic stupid idiot which has thinks that I am.

But not a criminal  I rather he simply take it down and say he was mistaken about me being a criminal . I don't mind if he says he still thinks I am an idiot a moron and a gambler.

But I am not a user of illegal firmware and committing crimes about that. So in the interest of detante I will concede.

1) stupidity
2) moronism ----- I am so stupid I not sure its a word.
3) gambler -------  Heck I will even say I am a compulsive gambler .

but  I would like him to withdraw criminal.

are you completely sure the address you are trying via a wired router is the right one.

if your router is 192.168.0.1

and one 2 things are connected to the router

the miner say 192.168.0.30

your pc say 192.168.0.33

no wi fi all hard wired.

and you use advanced ip to do a scan

with 3 addresses showing

192.168.0.1  the router

192.168.0.30 the miner

192.168.0.33 the pc

unplug the miner and see if 192.168.0.30  drops off

if it drops off  then you are sure you are trying to connect to the correct piece of gear.

on windows 10

assuming you are certain of the address

use edge/explorer  browser

if no go use chrome browser

if no go use firefox browser

if no go  ask for more help about sting into the unit.

I wrote that document you quoted and the code related to it.

It is up to the driver developer to include ascset commands, since each device driver has it's own unique hardware related to that.

If BM don't include options to change what you want in the API in their driver, that they added to cgminer, then it's not available at the moment.
You'd have to request them, or the only legal firmware release: bOS, to add it to their release.

HiveOS, and every other release for BM hardware in this part of the forum, violates the cgminer license.
That violation includes the firmware released with awesomeminer.
While people like Phil and tazers only care about money and gambling, and don't give a damn about the cgminer license, please avoid joining that crowd of criminals using infringing firmware.

Also note the obvious: the price of BTC changes every day every hour.
You don't know in advance, what price you will get for all the BTC you generated for the days or weeks up to when you sell it.
Pretending that calculations based on the current hourly price and difficulty will directly affect your profit/loss, shows a complete misunderstanding of that.

please note I am not sure how to complain about this or where to complain so I will start here.

I use bitmain firmware and braiins firmware.

Both are okay. This is pretty much a direct attack on me for using other firmware which I don't.

I asked for the statement that says

"While people like Phil and tazers only care about money and gambling, and don't give a damn about the cgminer license, please avoid joining that crowd of criminals using infringing firmware."

To be removed.

To be fair I just read it today and asked today.

So maybe it will be removed as per my request.

don't slander me.

All gear I sell has braiins or bm firmware.

don't state other wise.

I am formally asking you to retract your statement.

I am hopeful to see that he removes it.

one more edit

Since I am accused of committing a crime I felt a need to be a bit more formal and make a thread to mention this .

I do not appreciate being called a criminal and frankly would prefer kano to retract the statement with an apology and admitting he was wrong.

Since I know I never used any firmware other then bitmain or braiins on my ant miners. I know he made a false accusation on this forum against me.

one more edit

kano may believe I use illegal firmware but belief with zero proof is a dangerous road to follow.

Using this forum to state I am engaging in criminal behavior is not acceptable.

especially when I have not stated I do.
I have not sold btc gear with firmware other then bitmain or braiins.

I have not offered to sell firmware for install
No threads about it say I distribute firmware.
