141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: December 24, 2019, 03:01:52 AM
STO is a failure and even ICO is better than it but since scammers have taken the advantage ICO fundraising to scam many investors ICO rating had gone down alot, now IEO is the next better option thanks to top exchanges because if not for binance gate and huobi IEO won't have a chance either
And that is one of my biggest problems with all of what is happening in the market right now, if a coin was not being released on the binance exchange what will be the chances of that coin to get the investors that they need? And most of the time the answer that you are going to get is that if it wasn't for the binance exchange all of those coins will have no interest from investors, this means that those projects are no good and no one should invest in them regardless of the exchange in which those coins are being released.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Altcoins not Growing These Days on: December 24, 2019, 02:40:35 AM
As we all know , crypto market is not doing so much in these days. Major Altcoins are bleeding, even top currencies are not increasing
Major reason according to my opinion is the lack of new investors. New investors are not showing interest.
in 2020 I think will be better than Today. What do you think, what is your prediction about crypto market. kindly share your thought.

for now we have seen that in various cryptocurency markets it does not have good growth and many worthless altcoins. and in my opinion 2019 was a bad year for cryptocurency because many altcoins like Ethereum could not reach the price of $ 300. Ethereum is only able to move at prices of $ 150 to $ 250. and there are many other altcoins. and in my opinion at the beginning of 2020 it will also not improve as we hoped because now there are already many IEO and ICO scam projects so that interest from investors has diminished.
I don't really see how you can say that this was a bad year for cryptocurrencies when all coins showed a recovery, it is true that coins like ethereum and most altcoins did not recover as much as bitcoin but that was to be expected, do you really think that after what happened in 2017 investors are going to be very excited to invest in altcoins, of course not, they're going to be interested in investing in bitcoin which is the best coin in the market but nothing else, if altcoins want that to change then they need to improve and that is something that I'm not seeing.
143  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: December 22, 2019, 03:52:28 AM
Scammers are taking advantage of digital technologies and not only of cryptocurrencies,.........
They aren't, they are taking advantage on people who does not have enough knowledge and does not know how to manage the risk in investing.
It's correct that technology like blockchain in the crypto has a potential in the future, but when investing, the risk is always here so we need to be careful.

Not all investors lose money, only the weak ones because they don't choose the right investment and they easily panic.
You don't seem to have understood my point, we are talking about scammers not about losing your money because you failed to do your due diligence and made a bad trade or a bad investment, in that case the only one that is responsible for that mistake is yourself and no one else, but when a scammer hacks your wallet and he gets to your coins, you share some of the responsibility but at the end the one that is completely responsible for what is happening is the one that is stealing from you.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is This Why Bitcoin Suddenly Rebounded Yesterday? on: December 22, 2019, 03:07:17 AM
Coin Shares researchers found the average cost of mining a Bitcoin is approximate $6,300. So, the price jumped to $7,300 yesterday. And it’s profitable for the miners Forbes report said. What do you think?
That is not the reason, the price needed for the miners to be profitable has no effect at all in the price of bitcoin, why should it? Do you think that traders or investors care about the profitability of miners? They only care about their own profitability and the price recovered simply because they saw a big opportunity to buy bitcoin for a cheap price and they took it, that is it, any miner that at some point stops being profitable has two choices to keep mining or to stop but whatever they choose the market most likely will not react to it.
145  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So traders, how much You lose? on: December 22, 2019, 02:42:37 AM
Can't remember with how much lose in trading because many time I bought always have lower price, last day I trade with CND coin but have faced loss again after price dump and not get profit, still holding and waiting when CND back with higher price and I not cut lost because I can take profit when CND back with higher price.
While I sincerely hope that you do well in your trades I am worried because you said that you did not cut your losses, whenever I read stories about people losing all their money in the markets what I see most of the time is that people that suffer a loss instead of accepting it, cutting their losses and moving on decided that they wanted to wait until the market recovered and instead of taking a small loss they had to take a huge loss after it was obvious that the coin in which they invested will never recover.
146  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WILL CRYPTO BOOM AGAIN? on: December 22, 2019, 02:01:41 AM
Sure it's impossible to say but still... after yesterday hearing i really don't know what to think. Used to be sure Libra entry will boom the market once again but it looks like Libra's not coming shortly.
Is btc halving the most promising ''event'' we are looking forward to (at the moment)?

I know for sure 100% that crypto will boom again, the question only was we don't when? but there are lot of prediction were it came from the experts were by 2020 bitcoin will rise again in the market. Because of the coming bitcoin halving, were according to the majority after this moment, the price of bitcoin will start to rise again.
That is an important question but only if you are a trader, if you are a long term investor then that is irrelevant because it doesn't matter if the recovery happens during the next year or the year after that, you are going to be in the market, you are going to be holding bitcoin and you are going to take advantage of that particular moment in time, so if you are a long term investor there is no point in agonizing when it will happen, just be content to know that it will and that you will obtain profits with it.
147  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin STILL Good Investment? (Think Again) on: December 21, 2019, 02:57:34 AM
I would say for now and the next few years bitcoin is still a good investment, if you look at the history of bitcoin prices should still be and will be higher than 2017, we know half is hype. at least we can see it go double in the next 1-2 years.
Bitcoin was the best investment of the past decade, it will be a real challenge to find any other asset that gave better profits than bitcoin during that time, and while bitcoin cannot experiment the growth that we saw in the past when we take into consideration that only a few million people have decided to adopt bitcoin then it is entirely possible that bitcoin still has a massive potential as an investment and the only thing that you need to do to reap those rewards is to hold your coins.
Bitcoin is powerful investment tool but make sure that if we will invest is at a right time and moment. There are people who are ranting because they invest when the price of bitcoin is at the peak, their portfolio is now red because of the wrong timing. Being financial litearate psrson can bring us more wealth, if we have knowedge about how the market works then we can invest in a right time and make profit from it.
Even a great investment like bitcoin has bad moments from time to time, anyone that is losing money in this market should realize that what it is happening is completely their fault but that is really difficult to admit, people are always looking for someone else to blame like the whales, the volatility, the manipulation of the market and hundreds of different factors but they cannot hide the fact that there are many people that have got huge benefits out of bitcoin and if they are not is because of their mistaken decisions.
148  Economy / Speculation / Re: Two Years Ago, Bitcoin Was Over $19,000 — What Happened? on: December 21, 2019, 02:28:43 AM
It was pointed out on Twitter that, just two short years ago, Bitcoin was hitting the peak of its most recent bull run — touching close to $20,000. The question of what the recent bear market has meant for the asset was then debated, with some claiming that this is the beginning of the end… and others unconcerned.

The point was originally made by Twitter account of Rob “Crypto Bobby” Paone (@crypto_bobby) in a tweet, where he shared what the market price of both Bitcoin and Ethereum were two years ago to the day.

Source link here

To all of those who have experience the big bull run of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, I know how it feels.

We wish that Bitcoin would have another round of big bull run like what happened a couple of years ago. That's where I finally getting serious about Bitcoin after years of being skeptic.

I was just fortunate back then while I invested some coins and tokens, I sell when it peaked and I didn't wait anymore till the value goes down.

For me, I think the market has matured enough and it may not likely repeat like what happened in 2017 (but I could be wrong too if analysts are correct about their bull run prediction), but it would be unlikely.
All markets regardless of their maturity will experience bubbles from time to time, what we saw in 2017 was the perfect combination of several factors that made people really positive about the future of cryptocurrencies, I'm still very positive about it but now I understand like most people here that went through that bubble that it is going to take a lot more time for bitcoin to reach its ultimate goal of becoming a currency that is accepted everywhere.
149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: December 21, 2019, 01:42:28 AM
I am prepared myself for trading. But i need some suggetions from here. There are many way for trading in cryptocurrency. But i need correct one which is profitabe. I am prepared myself for day trading. Is it profitabe?
All forms of trading are profitable, that is not really the question, the question is if you have the necessary skills in order to obtain profits from those forms of trading, I will be direct with you day trading is by far the most difficult way to obtain profits in the market but it is also the most profitable, this is what brings many traders to try their luck with day trading, but even if you were profitable you need to understand the huge level of complexity and difficulty that entails and most likely at the moment you do not have what it is necessary to obtain profits from day trading.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: hold or sell? help me on: December 21, 2019, 01:24:54 AM
Everything depends on you, if it is your last money, I would definitely recommend to quit crypto. Never play with your last money and while investing just think that those money are completely gone, it would be much easier to overcome mistakes.
People hate to admit defeat but sometimes that is the only rational thing to do, the story of the one that started this thread is not really that rare at all he bought a bunch of altcoins and now those coins have been going down in value so much that if he sells he will never recover his money, but we must also take into consideration the risk that the coins that he bought crash all the way to zero and he doesn't get anything out of them, if I was him I will sell everything that I have an forget about this market for some time because he obviously doesn't have what is needed to be a trader.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many ICO and IEO are you already following? on: December 20, 2019, 04:32:59 AM
I don't think you understand the world of cryptocurrency, and of course only newbies will do such a thing. For old ones in the world
of cryptocurrency will not do such stupid actions. Selling a car for investment in ICO / IEO is the worst decision I've heard. Moreover,
the current condition is not recommended investment in IEO / ICO because many projects are scam. In my opinion a lot smart way to
get capital if you intend to invest in IEO / ICO.
If that is the worst decision that you have read in the forum then you need to read a lot more, I remember at least two mistakes that were even bigger than that, one person sold his home to invest in cryptocurrencies and the other mistake that I remember very vividly is of a person that took a loan to buy three bitcoins when the price was at its all time high, I do not know what happened to those people but taking into account the mistakes that they made back then I do not think that they ever recovered their money.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: there are still many who invest in cryptocurrency? on: December 20, 2019, 03:57:10 AM
I am one of them. I'm converting half of my savings into crypto but I limit my investments into popular cryptos and IEOs from trusted exchanges. I resist selling for small price changes and haven't had a loss for last 6 months though the prices of crypto decreased in the time.
If you have invested in good projects then definitely, you won’t be disappointed by digital coin market but with weak coins, things can turn out to be a little bit different. Investing half of your savings into crypto currencies was a very wise decision from you. Moreover, if you are not holding bitcoin at the moment then this coin should be invested in first. Bitcoin is the real game in digital currencies.
Without a doubt investing in this market is a very wise decision, there are still many people that have doubts about the future of cryptocurrencies in general but we know bitcoin and several other altcoins will eventually be the future and will be used all around the world, it will take time but taking into account the conditions of the economy and fiat currencies in general to me this is just a matter of time, and when that happens we are going to be able to tell that we were part of this ecosystem before it became popular.
153  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to double capital in 2 months? on: December 20, 2019, 03:28:01 AM
I think not too hard to get double your fund, just go to margin trading and earn some. As you really believe in your trading skill, i think you should try this way. Just remember to calculate risk/reward ratio, set stoploss, and focus your target in each order.
If anything the previous days should be a lesson to all of us to understand how dangerous margin trading can be, in just 48 hours the price reached 6500 dollars and then it went up almost 900 dollars to reach a price of 7400 and now it is trading barely above 7100, unless you are an expert trader that is watching the markets all the time you could have lost everything that you have in a matter of hours if you were using margin trading with no stop loss during the previous days
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe satoshi is dead on: December 20, 2019, 03:08:16 AM
maybe SATOSHI is dead and BTC is at mercy of GITHUB developers, owned by blockstream

what you guys think ?
That is a very popular theory for those that try to explain why satoshi left so abruptly, many think that he got sick and that he never recovered and that at some point he passed away, the truth is we have no way to know that information since I find really unlikely that the identity of satoshi is ever going to be revealed, personally I prefer to think that he is alive and that he is watching bitcoin from the sidelines and is just happy to have created something that will affect the world in such a deep way.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: not a rule! but it's about your common sense to avoid scam projects on: December 20, 2019, 02:47:22 AM
Actually not all ICO projects are fraudulent, among the many there may be some true and honest projects. yes I know fraud is not only happening in the ICO project, any investment if you do not use common sense as you say, then the risk will be exposed to scammers. But this is difficult because scammers are everywhere. Especially in the crypto room, scammers are more free to act. So choose and think about a good investment in your opinion.
We all know that not all ico projects are fraudulent but at the same time we know that the majority of them are scams and as such we do not really have a lot of options as investors, since my capital is not unlimited then that means that I cannot really afford to invest in icos because there is a very high chance that I will lose it and I do not want to go through it because I really believe there is a high chance the market of cryptocurrencies will go up during the next years and I want to be part of that.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: December 19, 2019, 03:05:15 AM
For Bounty Hunters
Even if i advice you not to give up on doing researches on every proje ts before promoting them this doesn't mean they wont scam you or waste your precious time BUT still the only question you need to ask is, Are there bounties that pays hunter good rewards this year? YES they are very few and good projects take time, Do not expect good projects every months cos its impossible

For Investors
ICO and STO are no go side, stay away from them because they are almost all red flags, IEO is here for you and all you have to do is go to binance for any new upcoming IEO fund raising, you will get positive results

Just because ieos are conducted in an exchange that doesn't really mean that you are going to get positive results with them, any investment that you make will always carry an uncertain amount of risk and you have to accept it, if you are looking for a way to multiply your money and have zero risks then you are in the wrong market, in my opinion it is way better to wait for a project to hit the markets and see how it performs before you invest in it.
157  Economy / Economics / Re: Malaysia to Limit Cash Transactions in 2020 on: December 19, 2019, 02:42:04 AM
Restricting and limiting cash transaction would a great idea from country like malaysia because there is a huge chance that more people would start to adopt bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, but on the other hand it might not be successful because there will still people who does not want online transations and digital currency like bitcoin that they still have trust issues about buying bitcoin and using it.
When you look at things from that perspective then this could be good for bitcoin because if people get mad about the restrictions that are being put over their shoulders they may begin to use cryptocurrencies that are not controlled by the governments to use their money as they want, but I do not know how popular bitcoin is in a country like Malaysia, it is possible that we do not really see any change in the adoption of bitcoin in that country, but if those policies begin to be applied all over the world that could make a great difference to increase the level of adoption of bitcoin around the world.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Altcoins not Growing These Days on: December 19, 2019, 02:16:03 AM
Altcoin is still not possible to rise. BTC prices are still unstable and greatly affect altcoin prices.
Altcoin does not go up either because altcoin projects are full of scam projects. It takes time for altcoin to recover prices.
that doesn't make sense, if you are watching the marketcap site and there are some altcoins are still getting a huge demand of even a big pump. You must visit that site and then watch it.
It's possible as long as the developer itself can create FOMO through create a good progress. That's is not an impossible thing.
It is obvious that altcoins are still gaining value from time to time but those coins are an exception to the rule because what we are seeing is that most altcoins are losing value against fiat and against bitcoin and what it is even worse most of those coins will never recover, so in my opinion even if you can get a lot of profits with altcoins it is not really worth the risk of losing your capital for it, it is better to invest in bitcoin and take a very slow approach to the markets that while not as profitable the risks are many times lower.
159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Finding the new predictor of Bitcoin Price on: December 19, 2019, 01:52:47 AM
To be honest, I am an influenced person so far. By crypto person like Lee, Macafee, I have been influenced so much for their Bitcoin future price prediction. I was holding Bitcoin to get at $25000 though I bought it at $13700. Recently, I did not find any prediction as it was earlier and often. You guys have any indication of btc price for this December?
Right now the market outlook is bearish and it doesn't seem like we're going to get out of it for some time, unfortunately for you it seems that you bought very close to the top of the market and that is never a good moment to buy otherwise you will have to hold your coins for a long time before you are able to profit from them, I hope that you have the mental strength necessary to hold your coins because at least it is going to take you a year before you see any profits.
160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: December 19, 2019, 01:31:18 AM
it's hard to learn self-taught, and get friends who want to teach everything transparently. I suggest looking for a telegram channel that provides technical education about trading charts and ways to start trading. on average it is not free, but the services provided are very satisfying. I'm not talking about signal / pump and dump groups because there are still channels that teach basic trading that focuses on periodic guidance classes.
Learning to trade is always easier if you have someone to support you and to teach you but that is not always an option, as you say you can pay for the privilege but many traders at the beginning do not really have a lot of capital so they need to save as much money as possible and if that means that they need to take a little bit of more time to learn how to trade then that is how it should be, however if you have a decent amount of capital then it could be a good idea to pay to receive that help and learn how to trade even faster.
