As an investor, no softcap policy is a good in a short term investing, but as i want to see you thrive, how does this actually work if you'll get less then 100 eth? I am not saying you do but how would your future plan would differ from getting hardcap worth of eth?
I think they have a plan for this of course but this project has enough ability to reach expected investments, now the market is on the rise again also advantage for them. They seem to be really ambitious, since the token sale will last just for a week. I hope they know what they are doing. Markets, however positive our expectations are, still haven't completely recovered. I think this market will recovery soon. Every ICO and any other coin offering could turn up to be a scam, Bitcoin and Ethereum can play a big part on the monetary system but it could never replace fiat, i see a good resistant on the ETH price bitcoin went down but seeing that the price is still at the 400 USD is a good sign. So far, the interest for the CryptoFlix Platform has been very good and there are many content owners who have contacted us to get on the platform - amongst these are distributors in our core markets - the underdeveloped countries in Asia and we have confirmed interest in getting large libraries on the platform when we roll it out. The decision to postponed the pre ico is not the bad, the market is a bit hard these days and maybe wait a bit more will be better for a good start. Also now we have the smart contract code, so more transparency for investors.
The question is, what will happen if the market drop even deeper or doesn't change to the expected state? Will they postponed again or cancel the project? I think the best thing to do is wait a bit and launch anyway. if the market recovers, then the ETH they've raised will be worth even more. That's the key. Even if they don't raise a big amount now maybe in a few months the price of the ETH will rise and then become a big amount. It happened before. Icos raised money when eth was 300$ and when it become more than 1000$ it become more than 3x. Now it is around 400$ and if it return to 1500$ it means 4x. You are right about that it's just a matter of time when etherium starts to get to new heights. The interesting thing will be how the other coins compete with etherium. At the moment, competitors don't have a work product, the competition can be made by the EOS, but when it is unknown. |
