141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strategy to overcome losses .. on: April 16, 2019, 02:15:14 PM
I agree with most of the post. If it's causing stress, then stop it. I suggest go for a walk so you can relieve stress. Do not go to social media it will only build the stress more.

Although I agree on going for a walk, I don't think that social media should be stressful for everyone. On the contrary, most people enjoy it, otherwise those platforms wouldn't be so successful. We can't eliminate the Internet from our lives at this point, so it's a bit unrealistic to think that someone can spend days without going online, let alone weeks. And in some cases we need weeks of abstinence from gambling in order to overcome our losses successfully.

Yeah, I agree that most people do enjoy social media. But if you come to think of it, I am sure that all his social media feeds are about gambling. This will not help him. That's why it will most likely just build more tension. In order to have abstinence, he I think needs to go away from it.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing when to sell off your crypto investment on: April 16, 2019, 01:58:36 PM
The best time to sell off your crypto investment is either when the market value of the crypto coin you invested goes a bit higher than the initial value you invested or when the value drops to avoid you from losting a greater portion of your initial investment.

Yes, selling coins must look at the market situation. And don't rush to sell coins because the price of coins will definitely rise again. I think trading is very fun because now the market is in very good condition to sell coins.
That's a good decision to consider a market trend before trading. And also you may have some predetermined profit price of token to sell it. Otherwise you will loose a good moment waiting for the best one.

I agree it's best to always sell, of course, when there is a pump. But keep in mind that coins that go high tends to drop also. But it's just for a short period of time. So I would suggest that you sell on top and try to buy back coins from where first bought it. There is a big chance the coin will go back there. For losing coins, better cut of the investment as soon as you see the trend going down.

144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The new bitcoin 2022 on: April 14, 2019, 01:42:42 PM
Hi,

The future bitcoin is Evx (EVEREX) it only costs 1$ now but it will cost 4000$ something by 2022.

Evx is the new bitcoin you guys should all buy it and not miss the opportunity!! I bought as much as I could

Hey OP seems people are too negative here at your post. I will give you a chance.

Is this an IEO or an ICO? I saw there that Binance is one of their partner exchanges. Does that mean that they are an IEO?
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why new Projects? on: April 13, 2019, 01:46:06 AM
The common answer you will encounter is, because they knew or found a problem that can be solved. Then you maybe then ask yourself, "Then why don't they just improve the current system or protocol?". Because they need or want money.

And that is the real answer.

The good part is that, here you can ignore the tweet because you know that bitcoin can't be a viable solution to the sustainability of the world economy. So doesn't really matter what they say or do.

Yes, I also think that bitcoin can't be a viable solution for the whole worlds needs to trade. So I think it's best that bitcoin remains as go to the option of a currency.

Well, that is not bad news though. Come to think of it, if bitcoin is not viable enough, then it will be, likely always, be valued more than the common currency people are using.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the future price prediction for Ripple? on: April 13, 2019, 01:10:50 AM
I was holding the Ripple coins from last year Jan 2018, on that time it was more than double what we have the price now can any one give some suggestions about ripple coins future.
Don't hold a centralized coin for too long, you may get dissappointed when the price not moving even in the bull run,but for now it is okay to hold and hopefully sell when the coin reaches your buying price and the invest on a coin like ethereum, litecoin even monero.

I also believe in this. But why it seemed that ripple is still popular??

There are so many shades on this coin. One common shade is that the co-founder holds a large amount of the coin. About 5% of current available supply of 38+ Billion and it is active. So anytime soon if he wishes, he can cripple down its market or stabilize it on a  whole market pump.

This is a cool promotion to be honest but can you show us the proof that you will really give the Lambo to the lucky winner in August 2019?
Transparency is always been preferred but it seems op have no interest to show it all. lol

I guess you will need to trust that he is the one shown in those articles linked in here. Or maybe we can authenticate his picture via those news sources? Telegraph is that? Maybe he can ask them to do this. But I think he will not want that, since he says he will not release to press yet without fiat incoming.

in short he is saying: all of the bitcoin community, sell everything you have and buy many bitcoins hold until 2021 that you will have many profits, will be the next rich of this world. jokes aside. The price is not even in the $10,000 and are already thinking that it will reach $50,000? I am optimistic, but I prefer not exaggerate, $50,000 is very high value and I highly doubt that the price can surpass $30,000 in 2021

I agree let's not exaggerate things. Bitcoin didn't even surpass the $20,000 wall that easy. For now, it's better to wait and see.

That's the exact thing they were saying when BTC was going above $1k. Then it went x20 higher.

10 years later, $50k will look like a small dent in the chart just like $1k does now. But everybody is focused on the 2021 pump and preparing to dump everything on that pump. What if all of those potato chip hodlers dump on $50k and a few months later it goes to $150k (or even 250k)?  Cool

That's exactly what BTC did in the last pump. Everybody thought $2-3k was unbelievable. Then BAM! $20k.

I guess the wisest thing to do is, no matter what you do in the future, dump or pump, hodl at least 1 btc in case it becomes valuable some day just like satoshi said.

Yeah I realized also. So let me rephrase it. Better buy some (not buy many) and wait and see. I agree to buy some. But I think it will be hard for it to hit that high. If the 20k wall gone down maybe.

Will do. Thank you!

Looks funny at first, but then it looks quite serious and actually fun. I am excited about this. It was like betting on a real horse. I read this in a book about habit, scientist use mouse to study habits with the same idea with tracks. So I think in the future these races will mostly be won by older or more experienced rats. Because they tend to have the habit more engraved on their mind.

Yeah, Most rats have photographic memory, Like a house rat that only use the same route in and out of their hiding place so its easier to catch them Cheesy

So, During the race we can always bet on the mice who always win Cheesy
Just picking the top 5 we can already choose whose the one. hehe

Ha! So I will be rich! But only 20 dollars is the maximum for each account.  Cheesy Better bet for those 2 Mario and Nibbles.

153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Take the profit OR hold on on: April 10, 2019, 07:57:58 PM
I have invested in ETH when it was $105. Now it's $176. Will it be a good idea to take the profit now? Or I should hold on for better profit which may lead to less profit too  Grin Suggestion is appreciated.

I have been in to crypto for more than 5 years. And I will tell you what I think about it. My opinion is that we need to do partial profit booking every now and then, irrespective of the exchange rates. For example, you can come up with a 20-year plan (240 months) and according to the plan, you can sell 0.4% of your coins every month.

I am a fan of these kinds of long term plans. Can you explain this further? Why you came up with 0.4% every month? Is this considered that the market will go up every year or even month?

156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet that you trust? on: April 10, 2019, 07:35:16 PM
I am using Myetherwallet.com still. And this is the most trusted Ethereum wallet and you can store ERC-20 tokens together with your eth. This wallet is great and secured, to secure it, you should try using metamask. It doubles the security of your wallet. Because there were many people that scams the site of MEW and creates another website that is exactly similar to MEW. If you use your priv key to that fake site then your wallet is lost.
I also used MEW as of this moment still, knowing the risk and understanding how things is needed to be done, as long as you understand how to use and protect your assets this online wallet can be one of those good options for any ERC-20 tokens, you just have to be more updated in order to learned any changes and continue to work well with this wallet.
Yes, you can go with MEW for a while, while your funds are still little. But if your funds grow it would be best and most suggested that you use hardware wallets. This is so your hard earned crypto doesn't get hacked. I think Ledger Nano S is cheaper nowadays. Believe me, this device is still the greatest.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Gambling with BitcoinSV on: April 10, 2019, 07:28:32 PM
I find Bitcoin SV's website intro funny knowing that it is also promoted by Roger Ver. Says there that,
Quote
Bitcoin SV is the original Bitcoin.  It restores the original Bitcoin protocol, will keep it stable, and allow it to massively scale.
Then why Roger Ver promoted Bitcoin Cash in the first place?  Roll Eyes

To op, I think it will take time before people actually take this coin into serious consideration. Let's just keep them in our pockets for now. Well they are free coins.
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best dice site? on: April 09, 2019, 01:12:51 PM
I have the most popular https://freebitco.in/ site I know. Do you have any site sites that you know are quality and reliable and have dice sites?
I want to play for fun in my free time?

Most beginners really are presented with this website. Because this is one of the first dice games and is popular because of the blog post on google. That are not actually updated. I tried this and I can't actually win anything, I mean I win sometimes and then in the long run I run empty. Better move to other dice games.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lightning’s Bitcoin mainnet: the phenomenal growth on: April 09, 2019, 03:30:23 AM
This is great news. Even though large entities hold a larger percentage of the channel still this means that people are now turning to using bitcoin as a currency not for exchanges only. It just makes sense for me that this entity is getting big. It cost money to open a channel.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Number of Blockchain wallet users are now above 35 million on: April 09, 2019, 03:01:49 AM
This wallet numbers is only the number of users who use blockchain website as wallet and users who uses blockchain app? Or this numbers is the total number of all wallets? Either is hardware wallet, or other mobile phone wallets? But even so there is a lot of people who use it and  new people will come and use bitcoin.

I think those wallet numbers is just the users of Blockchain wallets. But I have seen other people claiming that this was the total numbers of bitcoins wallet. The blockchain wallet numbers count start in 2011 so this can't be the total number of bitcoins wallets!

I thought so,maybe those numbers are just from their database. Also let us note that there might be some users that uses multiple addresses. So 35 million might not be all users.
