If your hope is just to make some quick money as you mentioned, then bcc or btc does not matter much, invest in bitcoin cash when you feel it will rise. You can't lose anything but money.

It just dropped hard, I left too much space for pullbacks and now I lost a lot of money.
I used to be better a year ago, with small amounts.

Now I'm loosing hard Sad
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash to the moon? on: August 19, 2017, 06:37:16 PM
For traders, its the best time to invest in bitcoin cash. Definitely it will cross 1000 dollars within 3 months. So those who are investing right now in btcc will get more profit. I also read somewhere that bitcoin cash is more profitable to mine than bitcoin and because of that more miners are shifting from bitcoin to bitcoin cash . But I don't think it can be a good competitor for bitcoin.

Ok I think I'm fucked, it dropped and I've put my stop limit way too low

IM A FOOL

I kinda ignored it for a while but BCH keeps rising,

So I just hopped onto the Bitcoin Cash train to see where it goes.
It's already above 0.2 BTC

Just hoping to make some quick money, and looking at the volume that keep pumping in I think this is the right decision

https://poloniex.com/exchange/#btc_bch
Reminder that BCH is essentially in the place that BTC used to be, and is highly susceptible to having whales manipulating the value. It isn't exactly easy to see whether or not there is a real market movement going on or if it is mostly whales manipulating the market followed by everyone trying to make money due to the FOMO. It's not bad to make money off of BCH, just don't buy into the meme and think that it is going to be a replacement Bitcoin, which it likely will not be at any point.

Well, those whales must have a lot of money then. Would this even be worth it? Just saw another 4 BTC buy and many 1 BTC buys on Poloniex
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash to the moon? on: August 19, 2017, 03:37:49 PM
Yeah i definitely agree with the fastness of the transaction. BTC has this advantage on BCC

Really? Then why the bigger block size. This does make no sense to me Undecided
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash to the moon? on: August 19, 2017, 03:35:50 PM
Bitcoin cash takes too much time for confirmation. IS not that bad for it to use for transaction of money as nobody can wait for 3 4 hours to transmit money. what will be purpose of it if it don't transmit quickly ??

Well at least we can now all get our transactions on the same block instead of waiting for the next block if the first one is full.

If Bitcoin is the Boeing 737 then Bitcoin Cash will be the Airbus A380 Smiley

146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash to the moon? on: August 19, 2017, 03:28:29 PM
bitcoin has just had some problems about the transaction fee while bitcoin cash has just succeeded in the 8 mb block. It depends on the users. Right now, they are thinking about which bitcoin is better and how can it support their life. Bitcoin cash can win if the majority of people choose the cheap fee and fast transactions Wink Right now the Korea has the biggest volume in bitcoin cash trading

Let's hope so!

Some terrible quality image, about what it looks like when I'm trying to login.

I'm using Internet Explorer, And I'm unable to switch to another browser because I'm on Windows RT

Is this a server side or is it just my problem because they updated their website and Internet Explorer can't use it.
What is Windows RT?
From me using Windows 8 until I use Windows 10, I never get such trouble in different kind of browser and blockchain is still fine.

Lel, look it up. https://www.google.com/search?num=50&source=hp&q=Windows+RT&oq=Windows+RT&gs_l=psy-ab.3..0l4.2034.3455.0.4100.11.8.0.0.0.0.139.961.0j8.8.0....0...1.1.64.psy-ab..3.8.954.0..0i131k1.eMvo9aWELeA

Not sure why you want to access desktop site only, you can access your account thru mobile app as well. However if that's what you want to do then there are multiple ways to do that.

1. Ever heard about browser virtualization?
https://www.browserling.com
https://turbo.net
Try them, if they don't work, let me know i'll try to find some other option.

Ps: Does it allows you to run bootable usb? If yes, run ubuntu or some other os.

Pss: It might be a client side issue, so make sure to clear cache and do a hard refresh.

Working fine now, the other guys that replied also saw this in Internet Explorer. So I'm sure it wasn't me.
I think they were messing with the website at Blockchain.info.

And yes, I have accounts @ Browserstack. But I can't type in the browser because of Internet Explorer is the worst browser in history lol!

Ah, the plight of so many systems/browsers out there.
Even the best web developers have trouble keeping up.
Sorry about this happening to you...

Well, this should not be a problem to most because they can simply just switch to Chrome.
But for me this is a disaster on Windows RT Sad
151  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info Login page fucked up on: August 18, 2017, 03:47:19 PM
its work fine for me

Seems like they upgraded their website and now it is incompatible with Internet Explorer which is a disaster for me because I'm on Windows RT which is a mobile version of Windows 8.1 only for ARM chips meaning that even if Jailbroken which I did Chrome or any other browser is incompatible

Also all other browsers in the store use the same HTML/Javascript engine and are basically like Internet Explorer with another design.

So I'm out of options I guess?

Check this out:

I opened it on Chrome and Internet Explorer and it shows IE do have the problem on launching that log-in page which it just totally fine on Chrome.

Theres a problem on integrating their log-in page on Internet Explorer. You cant do anything as of now but to log-in on other web browser.

Thanks, but if you read the whole text the issue is that I can't use another browser on Windows RT so I'm stuck

To make money, we all have to work in some ways. Whether digging graves or working in a factory. Some people want to make money and do no work or little work.

Stop whining like a child.

Wow, calm down dude what's your problem. I'm just pointing out  a problem
155  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptocurrency Exchanges SUCK on: August 16, 2017, 08:21:14 PM
btw I don't really trust those bots. I know they can do a good job if done right.
But there always coders trying to steal other peoples money.
I know a bit of C# so maybe I can make something myself
156  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptocurrency Exchanges SUCK on: August 16, 2017, 08:11:36 PM
I don't see a problem. Knowing how it works I'm usually setting multiple buy orders at various ranges and waiting for them to get filled.
How do you know when it happens? Some exchanges have sound notifications, you can also set them to send an email to your box and you can use a program that shows prices in real time on your phone.
Just write down the prices on a piece of paper and once your phone beeps check the current one. You'll know how many of your orders got filled without even turning on your PC.

That's actually a nice low tech way to keep track, but I'm guessing that the op wants a slightly more user friendly experience. Ha.

Indeed. Ha

Btw, poloniex allows you to set stop orders Wink

Yes it does indeed, but I want to set stop limit at the SAME TIME I'm setting my normal buy order do you understand?

This is my problem, I want to place a buy limit order + stop limit + take profit, walk away and have no worries because I will know nothing will probably go wrong. Now all I can do is just do a normal buy order and come back later to check if it got filled, if it did and the price went down a lot more I will have a problem, but I won't have a problem if they would allow me to set buy limit + stop limit + (Optional: take profit)
158  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptocurrency Exchanges SUCK on: August 16, 2017, 07:38:28 PM
Op, if you want all these functions you mentioned implemented and working then why won't you use a bot for trading?
Trading manually and watching exchange rates all the time is a painful and tedious process, if you have a life outside cryptocurrency trading it is not humanly possible.
Plus, all the best exchanges have some of the features you ask about (setting limits for your sell order is fairly common).

Ok, but it's just stupid that exchanges have all those functions, but are too lazy to combine them into 1 package.
159  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptocurrency Exchanges SUCK on: August 16, 2017, 06:17:51 PM
<snip>
This is something I have been asking the current exchange that I use about, they're saying that they may implement it in the future but for right now I'm looking for alternative exchanges which allow for stop-loss orders and the like. It's not fun to stay awake and watch a market to see if there's going to be a slide or complete crash, and that's the same for Bitcoin and all other alts that I traded or used to trade.

Hopefully they start to implement them in more places, but for right now I think a majority of us are SOL.

I'm not sure if you did understand me because a lot of people seem confused about what I'm writing since it is very complicated to write about.

Poloniex and Kraken and many other exchanges already have stop limit orders. But the problem is that I can't put in a stop limit sell order directly when placing my buy order so I have to wait until my order gets filled and then I can set my stop limit order which most exchanges already have.

I want to put a limit buy (price I wish to buy) + stop limit sell (prices to sell at to limit my loss and reduce risk) all directly at the same time instead if waiting till my limit buy gets filled to set my stop limit sell order. This makes it very risky when placing a buy order and going to bed to catch some sleep or grabbing some coffee because the price can go down a lot and you will buy while you don't have a stop limit sell order to reduce risk.

I hope this clears up things a little bit Smiley
They're not confused about what they're reading.  They're not reading.   They're just posting to get paid,  and they're not paid to read.

I agree, most exchanges suck and for more than the reasons you mentioned.   I can't stand kraken because it's not intuitive and it seems like you have to search deep for basic functions like depositing bitcoin.  Maybe that's just me.  And places like yobit that aren't mobile friendly.   Drives me crazy.

Wait what? Paid? Teach me how lol
