141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's rise and rise on: December 01, 2017, 01:13:32 PM
$0000 - $1000: 1789 days
$1000- $2000: 1271 days
$2000- $3000: 23 days
$3000- $4000: 62 days
$4000- $5000: 61 days
$5000- $6000: 8 days
$6000- $7000: 13 days
$7000- $8000: 14 days
$8000- $9000: 9 days
$9000-$10000: 2 days

I think it is better if you will be also adding the pumps and dumps it made through out it's history. Like what happened the other day when it reached another ATH at $11K and then dump all the way down to $8K but just pumps again back to $9K and now it is at $10K.

I think with these graph new people might misunderstood this and think that bitcoin is a crypto currency that is continuously pumping it's price throughout the time it is released.
142  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: November 30, 2017, 10:26:57 AM
my reason is Quick transactions  (not need to wait till money send)and only few control time & if money will send or not (sometimes bank stop and ban my account without any reasons )

I think you will not be saying this when you know that there are a lot of unconfirmed transactions, but I think if you really are paying a good amount of fee, there will be no problems at all.

For me, bitcoin is a good way to pay online, yes the fee is not the same in the past and the transaction speed may not be that fast unlike the others but I will be keeping on using bitcoin. Also the decentralization is a good feature if you don't want anyone to know your riches since the government will not be knowing your balances at all.

Anybody home?
When will we receive our tokens?

There are no updates in these thread what so ever about this signature campaign. I can't access the telegram page, I don't know why, maybe because of the application.
Bounty campaign is over.

Thanks for the update. Will be removing the Signature now.

If you will be looking at the spreadsheet, you can observe that the campaign is done. Obviously it is 21st of November, it is done.

when i looked it said that only the twitter and facebook bounties were closed. i didn't see anything about the signature one no longer being open. do you have any links for me about this so i can re-search it? thanks.

I think you can just ask them in Telegram, still no updates about this in the forum so you can check them there.

good afternoon, and I would like that there would be a common pool of awards for the signature, and not a fixed award,
Make a pool for example 100,000 B2BX for a signature campaigns, it will be much more profitable than getting a fixed reward
since the project was promoted in the signature campaigns around 10 people. If possible - please us, reconsider the reward
In any case, the project is worthy and will show a good result
thanks to the developers

I agree with these, people here supported your project for a while now, i may be a member of the campaign but just for a short time, since there are only some people who supported your project, they deserve to split the 1000000 b2bx tokens that is allocated for the bounty campaign, I am not only talking about the signature but also the other bounty programs. The allocations for our signature campaign is a only a small portion of what is the allocation for the bounty. I think you need to reconsider these. Thank you.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC confirmation is so fast now on: November 19, 2017, 08:31:59 AM
This is because bitcoin is starting to finish his backlogs

https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

the transaction speed and its corresponding fees is now coming back to normal

I think with a lot of matters going down these days it really need something to get back to users. The news about the bug is something and I think it will be dissappearing soon.

I hope this transactions become the usual, I don't ever wanna read a thread again about having a slow transaction confirmation about bitcoin.

151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x fork stuck two block before the fork on: November 18, 2017, 01:19:23 AM
If I can ask, how would this affect longterm viability of Bitcoin? Or is it a nonissue at the moment?

John Newberry said that :

Quote from: John Newberry
In case it's not clear: no-one should run btc1 code. It is untested, unreviewed, buggy and can only serve to disrupt and confuse the Bitcoin network.

So if the code runs, it will leave and confuse the whole network and will leave a lot of problem to us users. miners and developers.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cash Fork is going to happen or its false. on: November 17, 2017, 03:51:53 AM
Hi

Is Bitcoin Cash Fork is going to happen or its false.

If yes any idea when it is going to happen and what's the use of this fork. Are user getting any new coin during this fork.

Thanks

I think before posting this kind of topic, you make yourself some google searches even for a little bit. Bitcoin Cash fork happened last month. I think you are talking about the SegWit2X which is cancelled because the lack of it's support.
153  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Best Practice on: November 17, 2017, 01:08:34 AM

Maraming salamat.

Isang strategy para madagdagan ang bitcoins mo is thru lending via bitfinex or poloniex (ipapautang mo yung bitcoins mo for 2 days with 0.02% interest); gawin mo yan for long term para maramdaman mo yung tubo. Kung nasa 100k ang puhunan mo in pesos mas very good.

Next, huwag na huwag kang magbebenta ng bitcoins to pesos kapag mas mababa ang selling price mo vs sa buying price mo (yung price noong nagconvert ka from php to btc...) not unless sobrang emergency ang pag gagamitan mo ng pera.

Next, magbasa ka ng magbasa ng mga topics about bitcoins... huwag ka magsasayang masyado ng oras sa mga off topic discussions, politics, and etc...

Next, gumawa ka ng twitter account tapos ifollow mo yung mga wolf. makakakuha ka ng tips dun sa kanila kung ano ang altcoin na pwedeng tumaas ang value in the next few days... maginvest ka sa altcoin na yun ng as little as 1% ng hawak mong bitcoins (wag all-in).

Last... mag apply ka sa mga signature campaign para kumita ka ng bitcoins dito sa forum, then wag mong icacas-out ha, hold mo yung bitcoins mo long term. I repeat, hold mo yung bitcoins mo longterm.

thank you dito sir.

Ooops, I think you used the wrong account to post this. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Sa tingin ko there are some things that I've done nung bago pa lang ako dito, tip lang din sakin yun ng mga senior dito sa forum that time. One of them is being familiar with the forum. Ok lang daw na di ko ganun kaalam ang bitcoin as long as I know some rules kasi karamihan daw ng nagpopost and nagtatanung about the rules, 2nd is to be always active so we can catch some news tungkol sa bitcoin's update.
154  Other / Politics & Society / Re: End of the World on: November 16, 2017, 02:22:22 PM
Humans will be the cause of the world's destruction

We people are destroying the Earth, our world. But there are other ways to end the world, like a meteor hitting Earth, like when the Sun died and make the Earth burning with heat and I think the punishment that will be hitting us by the Gods like what happened when Noah created his Arc. But instead of being depressed that this might've happened, I will be jsut enjoying my life while it lasts.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to kill Bitcoin? on: November 16, 2017, 11:34:40 AM
Huh
I searched how to kill Bitcoin on the search box and saw nothing, so I'll just start a new one.

Is it true that miners are the one responsible for every transactions?
If yes; why didn't the government of China just ban cryptocurrency mining or am I just missing something out?

If there are no transactions or maybe just less than 10 made transaction happened within 24 hours, how will the mining computer work then?, will it just go idle? What if people decided to hodle their coins, will it be unfair for the miners?

 Huh

Miners monitor the transactions, they confirm any incoming transaction that is being made by the users. And the transaction being made is saved in the blockchain. I don't know why China banned mining but it is impossible that there will be only 10 or less than 10 transactions that will happen every day because there are a lot of bitcoin users that are using this bitcoin.
156  Economy / Economics / Re: Why hard forks are good for Bitcoin on: November 15, 2017, 12:14:55 PM
Is this what happened just this past couple of days that BCH is having a bubble and now that bitcoin is regaining the price, the BCH is slightly getting sunked down? People will be still putting their trust into the coin they used and used to trust crypto currency, the new ones may have a good feature that solved the real bitcoin's short comings, but I guess it is the hit back of it's popularity and demand.

159  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: Exposed? on: October 31, 2017, 12:22:56 AM
A documentary here in the Philippines entitled: FAILON NGAYON have exposed Bitcoin as a type of scam.
It goes like this: a callcenter agent guy invested on one of the sh*tcoins here. He invested a fair amount of money into it as a promise projection of 50% gain for about 3 months. After 3 months have passed and he was about to withdrawn the money, support system from that UK based comoany was suddenly became unresponsive.
Financial analyst said that bitcoin is being used by some scammers to phish for money from users through untrusted sites.
I think that due to anonymity, it is very hard to track down those people who uses bitcoin for scamming.
For me, I think you just invest amount ofnmeny that you can afford to lose. Secondly, just transact with secured sites and not fall for get rich quick schemes because most likely thisnis a scam.
What are your thoughts on this?
I'll say so scammers were everywhere. but he had to understand that bitcoin is the next pyramid. And if not now, he would have lost his money in the future. I hope after that, the Philippines will also go to the ban of bitcoins and it will fall in price and popularity.

I don't understand your statement, bitcoin is the next pyramid? what is that? Scammers are everywhere, that is a given that is why we need to think first where to put our money. That call center agent seems to have some faults here not realizing the coin where he put his money at is a scam.
160  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: September 30, 2017, 04:35:05 AM
Bitcoin and fiat is a different thing, a fixed value so that fiat could be used as a reference for all goods and services, while the bitcoin is decentralized so that it feels difficult to use officially let alone replacing the fiat money.

I agree, and it'll take a lot of time and effort for Bitcoin to replace fiat money. Fiat money has been here for how many decades already, it can't be replaced that easily and bitcoin is decentralized so it's hard for them to really officiate it as a fiat.

Of course, for several hundred years we use fiat and its not easy to devalue it and use cryptocurrency. It will takes several years to fully adop bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. Also technology is catching up to introduce this new currency online, but still acceptance  is quite slow due to its technicalities. This millennial generations are key to the progress of cryptos.

Yes fiats are being used for a long time now but if bitcoin will be used and will be replacing fiats, we do not nees to devalue the fiats, we just need to give time for people to make their changes to adopt to these digital currency, still the problem is, people using digital currencies as the main cirrencu is still far.
