Uhm, I'm a bit late. Can i submit it every xx:00:00 ?

You can try submitting anytime, just that the viabtc accelerator has a limit on the number of txes they will accelerate which resets at the start of every hour, which means your chances of getting a successful acceleration is higher
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BTC theft in blockchain on: May 25, 2017, 08:53:23 AM
You say you sent ~0.128 btc from 13KTtSy1pBjif5FHMa8evQsGv54K2xaH4P to 1DkYaLNdZwR4SRWX3qEsMmu473nXuAUccy using transaction:
https://blockchain.info/tx/d30332d7cd1c4136baa54e300c8dbeb5651ef07fc9cba4f1bf853285e2a1a803

That is all confirmed and everything worked as it should. If 1DkYaLNdZwR4SRWX3qEsMmu473nXuAUccy is not your address, but belongs to someone else... in a different wallet, on a different computer... then they are the ones with a problem. The coins were spent from THAT address, so if that address isn't yours, you are not the one with the problem.

If that address IS yours... then yes, you do have a problem if you didn't send the coins to 1LvKgYwaoemuUiGyueTAHJFQrRtJyJe4qB in transaction:
https://blockchain.info/tx/995591fc0a407c52c6b8e791dd6e095d237e1e1dad2673e0c2f25e6e43aabe87

Oh damn.. I read op's first thread comment and interpreted it as that he owns the private key to address 1DkYaLNdZwR4SRWX3qEsMmu473nXuAUccy.

OP, if you merely sent intended to send bitcoins to address 1DkYaLNdZwR4SRWX3qEsMmu473nXuAUccy  as a one time payment, and you do not own the address, HCP is right, you have nothing to worry as your payment was indeed received by its intended target.

However, if you mean that you own address 1DkYaLNdZwR4SRWX3qEsMmu473nXuAUccy but the payment sent to 1LvKgYwaoemuUiGyueTAHJFQrRtJyJe4qB was not done by you, you do have a problem.

I do hope that I misinterpreted your original statement and that your case is the first one, in which you have nothing to worry about, in which case I offer my apologies.

You only need the private key to spend the coins. Paper wallets don't have passwords Tongue

I was assuming that op was using a mnemonic phrase along with a password inside electrum Sad
143  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Sent btc to friend but not showing up in his wallet on: May 25, 2017, 07:46:14 AM

No idea who would of sent the 15$.
i don't care if i lose that money at all but all the other 180 some was confirmed so will i ever see that again? Sorry just started using btc know virtually nothing about it

Dont worry. When a transaction is created, it is relayed and stored in the mempool until it is mined in a block or as we call it a confirmed transaction. Over time transactions with too little fees and hence are not added by miners will simply be dropped from the mempool to make room for other transactions. When that happens, basically those transactions that you send out that are not confirmed simply has the balance set back to the amounts before that tx was made , basically unspent.

if that happens though, it would be like that person never sent you the $15
144  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Sent btc to friend but not showing up in his wallet on: May 25, 2017, 07:21:36 AM
The outputs you received that were used as inputs in this transaction has a long cascade of non confirmed transactions. Your tx in particular cannot be confirmed as parent inputs has not been confirmed too.

https://blockchain.info/tx/f00c45ad6c40ef36fa71cd3525bef165c322a8baed195fe9a8840f488829dcaa in which you received some coins from 1FwhvNJJLJDETx7JFaMJFwhAVu5BdCommc  has not been confirmed
https://blockchain.info/tx/b8faede0a1d1f5a1f02ce472b8bd0b64288b3b88ee2b937d5dc4bc7ecb2cd867 which has the output sent to 115CNVyVynwctoNxckwyJ3Pjxzu6tLz6uY has not been confirmed too.

The list of inputs in tx b8faede0a1d1f5a1f02ce472b8bd0b64288b3b88ee2b937d5dc4bc7ecb2cd867 has 3 seperate addys with unconfirmed txes too.

So how do i fix something like this do i just lose 190$ because that 15$ that i was sent will most likely never be confirmed?

If you know the person sending the tx ($15 in this case), it might be possible if he/she or you do a Child pay for Parent transaction, but with so many prior unconfirmed low fees txes you would have to add a lot of fees, not worth it.

Think about it this way, the 15$ you are trying to send as part of the 190$ was never confirmed and hence you are trying to spent something you dont have. If the txes do not get confirmed, they should get dropped out of the mempool after a few days or even weeks later. You can then hound the person who sent that $15 to you in the first place.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: ViaBTC tx accelerator !! on: May 25, 2017, 07:17:01 AM
ViaBTC tx accelerator is always beyond transaction limits !!! I rarely get a transaction accelerated, is the service so popular ? any other tx accelerator that can help ?
Sometimes I pay a good enough fee at the time of transaction, but then the network takes an hour to mine a new block, meanwhile many transaction are made in that hour with higher fees, delaying my confirmation even more !!!

It is pretty much the only free transaction speeder, at least one that has been working so far. They have to limit number of transactions every hour. A lot of users use viabtc to try to speed up their low fees txes either on purpose or otherwise.
146  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 20% Getting less while buying Bitcoins on: May 25, 2017, 06:58:48 AM
You are purchasing a crypto with fiat, people in cryptos do not like or want fiat. So you pay a premium. Pay $12usd get around $10 usd worth of cryptos after fees deduction. The same logic applies when u buy amazon gift cards from others selling them , you will usually pay 80% of the gc's actual value. Fees also change depend on exchange or services used.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BTC theft in blockchain on: May 25, 2017, 06:54:24 AM
There is no way for anyone to spent your bitcoins unless your wallet password is compromised which in turn means your machine has been compromised, probably with malware, are you sure you did not accidentally sent this tx https://blockchain.info/tx/995591fc0a407c52c6b8e791dd6e095d237e1e1dad2673e0c2f25e6e43aabe87 to 1LvKgYwaoemuUiGyueTAHJFQrRtJyJe4qB, the particular tx was sent with super high fees too, probably malware.

149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Problem with transaction on: May 25, 2017, 06:43:29 AM
It was like 1% of total. Always was 1% and wasn't any problem with fast confirmation. Usually it took a few minutes.

Since you are new, you need to understand that there is no sure thing as 1% of total = fast confirmation or that usually it took a few minutes.

The tx you gave had a fee of 120 sats per byte, which will never be confirmed from my observations for at least another probably never.

120 sats per byte has never been confirmed in minutes for months.

For the correct cheapest fees to use at any point in time, consult https://bitcoinfees.21.co.

I always recommend at least 320 sats/byte for next 5 blocks transactions these past weeks

Where did you make the payment from though? Bitcoin.info web wallet? Bitcoin core? Multibit HD? Electrum?
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Problem with transaction on: May 25, 2017, 06:15:10 AM
Hello I sent ~30$ a week ago and still transaction isnt confirmed.. It has 0/3 confirmation.. What I have to do now? Can I cancel this transaction or do something with that? Huh

You probably sent it to an exchange? We need more details to help you, wallet addresses? Wallet used, exchanges involved, transactions id.

Not sure if you can post outside of this board but try posting in a more relevant subforum
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How exactly do Bitcoin transactions work ? on: May 24, 2017, 08:05:07 AM
But how does Bitcoin Txes work?

... How does money work?

You cannot spend money that you do not have, bitcoin transactions work the same way.

In layment terms, you create a new transactions from the outputs of a previous transaction sent to you as new inputs and transfer them over the network to the person/address you are sending to.

You are using an exchange so the above probably does not apply to you nor would you actually understand how to actually works.

If you are wondering why your balance is not deducted, check your email for goodness sake.

On another note, many exchanges have limits on the minimum you can withdraw.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How exactly do Bitcoin transactions work ? on: May 24, 2017, 07:53:47 AM
Hello.
   I would like to know:

1- Is there a website (link) to check the Balance of a Bitcoin Address ?

2- How exactly do Bitcoin transactions work ?
I wanted to know Why Balance is not automatically deducted from the account when performing a Withdrawal Huh For example, I had 0.005 and when I try to send 0.002 to another address, I get the message "Withdrawal Successfull" but the balance remains the same and the 0.002 is not deducted from my account. So do you think it will be deducted later ?

Thank you for clearing me up.

1. Loads of websites to checkt he balance of a bitcoin address. Blockchain.info and many others, simply use a preferred search engine and search for "bitcoin explorer"

2. You do not want to know how bitcoin txes work, you simply want to know something regarding the wallet that you are using.
From what you have mentioned, you are using an online exchange as your bitcoin wallet, good luck with keeping your coins safe in the long run, get a desktop wallet like electrum.
If you are using an exchange, chances are you need to go to your email to confirm the bitcoin withdrawal as is standard operating procedures for all exchanges
153  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum transaction not confirming.. on: May 24, 2017, 07:39:46 AM
There are 16692 txes still not confirmed in your fees range according to https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

My past transactions these few days using electrum have been using at least 320 sats/byte to be within the next 5 blocks.

Under 240 have not been added to blocks for at least 10 blocks from my observations.

The current electrum fee showed for within 5 blocks is at least 290 sats.

Your 236 sats / byte fee will take more than 25 blocks.
154  Economy / Speculation / Re: happy or scared about the price? on: May 24, 2017, 05:30:18 AM
With the agreement on activating segwit and 2Mb hard fork coming within 6 months, I fully expect a rise to at least $3k before hanging there for awhile
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: May 24, 2017, 05:26:58 AM
Criminal activities have been linked with any currency for eons, before money like seashells, farmers were exploited for livestock, after that seashells, than came paper money, gold, jewelry  , and the likes of it.

Just because bitcoin or cryptos are used for illegal activities is not proof or proper statistics that bitcoin is the reason for more crimes in the world.
156  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Need bitcoins for US$30 on: May 23, 2017, 11:27:28 AM
Hello,

I need some bitcoins worth US$30
Anybody can send to a wallet address?

I'll give you the wallet address.
You send the btc  to that address.
Upon the transaction confirmation I will transfer US$30 to paypal or payoneer.

Tell me how many btc can be sent for US$30
I will select the one which is reasonable.

1. No one will send bitcoin first , you being a newbie makes things worse.
2. It is the norm to pay a premium for bitcoin. For example, you pay $35 in paypal, you get $30 +/- in bitcoin.
3. Paypal can be charged back, even if using the friends and family option.

Why not try localbitcoins?
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE SALE] Quartz Blockchain $QRZ - Quantum Attacks resistant & Anon blockchain on: May 23, 2017, 11:21:15 AM
Other than the fact that your Quartz icon looks eerily similar to another coin that is already very well known and the fact that I need to state that I have no relationship to op at all.

I honestly do not see any innovation at all in your text laden images, whats new? All your so called features looks like the typical features any other ico has honestly, and please change that icon, i am pretty sure a reverse image search would pop up a lot of similar images.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending small amounts of bitcoin on: May 22, 2017, 09:37:12 AM
Why are you even paying to unlock? Have you tried using wannakiwi to try decrypting your files?
https://arstechnica.com/security/2017/05/more-people-infected-by-recent-wcry-worm-can-unlock-pcs-without-paying-ransom/

With high mempool txes, the only way to get any tx quickly forwarded and confirmed is amounting to at least 300 sats / bytes or at least 3 to 4 usd in fees alone for most txes.
Try wannakiwi and see if you are lucky

https://github.com/gentilkiwi/wanakiwi.

Although if you have done a system reboot or restart, it probably wont work.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bought 2000$ of Storj ICO (4000 Coins) on: May 21, 2017, 10:19:56 AM
Stork is nothing more than an expiremwnt. I think that it's trying to grab on the Bitcoin rally in order to promote its ICO but nonetheless might also be successful. Big risk either way for something that might not even work properly for what it's supposed to do

Pretty sure bitcoin is nothing more than an experiment too in that case. No, both bitcoin and storj works as intended, other than some kinks to work out for extremely big files, it actually works exactly as advertised, cheap decentralized storage for s3 replacement.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bought 2000$ of Storj ICO (4000 Coins) on: May 21, 2017, 05:46:28 AM
A lot of people simply does not understand that for each erc20 token storj bought, one counterparty sjxc token will be burned.

There are no new tokens being created. It is merely the devs creating more liquidation, although I worry about the huge amounts of sjxc the devs actually hold on to .
