141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Excessive greed is detrimental to investment on: January 03, 2023, 10:43:25 AM
I would not only invest in BTC, but only in some other strong altcoins such as ETH or BNB. The problem always is that you will start to get greedy when you start getting profit. You see the price of the coin rises and will always want more and more and than it can be too late. You can partially sovle that with setting sell orders at certain limit prices.
He did not say that we should mainly invest in BTC or avoid all the altcoins because he also know that there are still some good altcoins out there which are great to be paired with our BTC investment. He only say that shitcoins and pump and dump schemes are bad and should be avoided because they are too risky to try and make money with.

Being greedy is normal for us humans but I think it's fine to be a little greedy as long as you invest on the safe and suggested coins because they might increase for more and even if you miss the present bull run, you are sure that they can make a good comeback again on the second, third and so on bull runes.
It is natural that when we make a plan we want things to go as we expect, so for example if we invest in bitcoin we expect that we will obtain more money than whatever we invest in it, that is not even greed, that is just the way humans behave normally, however people can get very greedy when they expect that a shitcoin achieves a 100x growth, that is greed and unfortunately it is very common as there are many people that actually believe they can identify and invest in a coin like that.
Plans are an important part of the strategy and at least they can minimize risk,
we must be able to place expectations according to their place and sometimes people forget about that so that it makes them greedy,
expectations that are too high can sometimes be disappointing when they are not achieved

143  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much gambling is in trading cryptocurrencies? on: October 17, 2022, 10:25:06 AM
It will become gambling if will you will not take it seriously i mean if you don't educate your self and just trading because of perspective that will give you good returns afterwards.  Knowledge is a must! So be smart enough if you don't want trading to be a gambling form because its very risky tbh.
When we decide to trade it is very important indeed to have knowledge as well as skills,
Basically trading is clearly different from gambling,
Trading is so complex that it can't just rely on luck alone
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's the $500 for? NFT or Coin! on: October 17, 2022, 08:29:07 AM
I think the NFT trend is getting down and coins are certainly more promising and safe, especially if we focus on the long term then buying NFT is very risky because the opportunity to fall even bigger than we invest in Coins.
It seems that is the case and it is not impossible that the NFT trend will continue to decline,
I'm not too sure investing in NFT will be promising,
most importantly keep doing research before investing and as much as possible to minimize risk
145  Economy / Economics / Re: Currencies are Collapsing Everywhere. on: October 16, 2022, 10:00:42 AM
Help is always there but we must also be aware that we cannot live only by relying on aid, not to mention that there are so many corrupt "persons" who have power so that sometimes this assistance will not arrive or may not be right on target.

We can't wait to get life because while we can then do to support our life as long as it doesn't violate the law then this is much better.
The real help one can do is to help themselves.
There is no one else who can help you out to survive the rainy days. The only solution of the inflation is to strive for the financial freedom
In this case it is true, but on the other hand we also cannot completely release the government because we really need their help but in this case we cannot become dependent.
It's hard to deal with things like this without the government's participation, even if we can, it's still a little difficult, but we can't depend on it because it will only make you seem resigned to the situation and don't want to change your fate.
everywhere business are in trouble - people are trying to financially stabilize.
That is true - if the government doesn't support it is hard to deal with the things. Struggling in this way is already too difficult

It's true whether it's a big business or a small business they are in trouble when the conditions are like this,
of course the business is trying and struggling to stay afloat and it's not an easy job,
The government really needs to be present in situations like this
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETH price keeps decreasing? on: October 16, 2022, 08:55:43 AM
Bitcoin is the first coin of cryptocurrency and basically bitcoin controls the entire cryptocurrency market and now bitcoin is in a huge dip due to which all the altcoins including ethereum are falling in price now but there is no reason to fear because when bitcoin recovers and goes to a good position  Then Ethereum and other coins will immediately return to their previous positions and do much better than before.

Bitcoin also dropped and this is a sign that almost all altcoins will drop, but as investors we must be optimistic that the market will improve soon so that by continuing to buy when bearish will make us get a big profit and I'm sure soon it will happen.
Indeed when Bitcoin goes down it will be followed by other altcoins although not all of them,
regardless that the price is going down i am not too worried and panic about it because if we are like that then we can make wrong decisions and cost us,
keep calm and take advantage of the moment to buy

148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to calculate how much the price of BTC? on: October 15, 2022, 10:29:03 AM

BTC's circulating supply is now 19 billion out of the 21 billion caps.

Is it possible to calculate how much the price of BTC will go up until it hits the 21 billion cap?

I know there is some complicated math you can do about circulating supply, market cap, price etc, it's all connected,

How can I calculate the price potential of BTC within the next 1-10 years?
You can speculate the price of Bitcoin 10 years from now but no way you can calculate it. There is no such mathematical calculation that will send you exactly 10 years from now, not like we solve common mathematics problems. It is better for you to speculate then rather than bother your mind thinking about what will happen a few years from now because you will just fail. You can't project where it stops and how far it reached, even Satoshi can't make it.

That's why crypto is hard to predict and we all won't know what Bitcoin will be like 10 years from now,
no one even thought that the price of Bitcoin could get this far,
it's better to just keep following the progress from time to time while doing analysis
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: global stock markets are under bearish pressure on: October 15, 2022, 10:13:03 AM
Global economic crisis will be making so many people try to sell and liquidate their assets for cash. This time people prefer to hodl cash rather than owned assets in their hand. It can be seen from how many people are still feeling panic rigft now. I think that this time anyone used their cash carefully. They will not try to rush to buy anything in the stock market or crypto market. that's why the price of bitcoin is quite stagnant at this moment caused by that.
many people thinking for their safety as it's very risky to play in bearish season, so it's not surprising why they preferred cash or they rely on stable coin than keep holding an asset which very affected on the situation.  No one wants to lose money so better to be smart enough.
Actually in any market conditions we can use it to make a profit,
with bearish market conditions i think this is a good time to buy some potential coins,
most importantly we have to be wise in making decisions and keep doing research first
150  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you been grateful for today? on: October 14, 2022, 03:10:06 PM
It's also true that we have to think about things like that too because sometimes we forget about ourselves,
but on the other hand I also believe that when we sincerely help others it will be rewarded by God by being given abundant fortune,
regardless of anything it is important to instill gratitude in yourself

Sincere assistance is help that is not shown to many people, because if it is shown to everyone that we have helped others, it will be fun and God does not like happy people or the like. It would be better not to help if after helping should be indulged in to everyone. Grateful indeed should be for all those who have received fortune from God through the results of their own efforts, but if they are still unable to provide assistance to others, it would be better not to give it if it feels so forced for them.
People are mostly jealous there are very few people who can be sincere.
If you find such kind of people around - who are sincere value them and try to limit your circle to the good people only.

Sharing or giving what we have to others should be done out of love and according to our ability. We aren't forced to do such a thing. We might think that other people are more fortunate than us but those who are willing to share what they have are more blessed. Being grateful is the key to a contented and happy life while chasing and being envious of others' achievements will only lead to bitter living.
When we are grateful it makes the heart calmer and sometimes we already have what we want but we forget to be grateful so that it can make us easily bored,
especially with the current condition of inflation making prices rise and here it is important to be grateful
151  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price consolidation at $20k for 4 months on: October 14, 2022, 01:03:49 PM
Quote
BTC has been hanging on the $20k area for 4 months now since early june.
Yes, because the time for investors to experience bear season in the crypto market has come, because during the pandemic that affected many assets in the countries didn't affect Bitcoin investors. I guess, this is a sign that bull season will be longer than this bear season that just completed 4 months and some days in the community for investors to continue holding until the price increase to $50k before they can sell to make a good profits.

The market is currently very difficult and it seems that the negative trend will continue, and it seems that this year's price will be difficult to leave the $ 20k area, if we focus on the long term then now is the best time to buy more, I'm sure in 2023 the market can rise again .
the bear market will definitely pass, it's impossible forever the market will continue to fall, if world conditions such as war,
inflation and some other things are no longer discussed then I'm sure good news will come and make the crypto market excited again,
we are in the accumulation phase meaning a lot of people want a low price under $20k, so we have to follow this path.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto prices are starting to strengthen again on: October 14, 2022, 12:00:58 PM
Coinmarketcap reports that today the 10 largest market cap crypto assets have started moving back into the green in the last 24 hours.
And this morning the most shining altcoin was Terra (LUNA) which passed 8.2% at $55.3 dollars.
Then Solana (SOL) also rose to the level of 87.32 US dollars or rose 3.5%, and Binance Exchange (BNB) which rose 3.4% to $373.4.
Likewise, the price of bitcoin is now in the position of $38,184, up 2.4% compared to the previous day.
And there are several other altcoins such as Cardano (ADA), ETH, DOT, and Dogecoin which rose 1.06% to $0.13 dollars.

Hopefully there will be more progress for all crypto prices.

maybe this is good information for us, hopefully more and more altcoins will experience price increases because before market conditions make us pessimistic in dealing with them. and although there are still many who suffer losses, we must remain optimistic that this is the first step for the market to continue to increase towards the moon.
I think the bear market is still continuing although there is good news but that doesn't mean the market will bounce back in the near future,
Of course we all hope that the market will rise soon but on the other hand we need to be realistic.
It's better to just keep up with the developments
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currencies Privacy on: October 14, 2022, 11:34:24 AM
Anonymity and privacy online should really be valued but you cannot push your stance of not submitting your personal information if the government abiding CEX and legit platforms asked you to submit KYC if you are using the platform and have your funds in it.

Anyone can keep their own privacy easily but again this all actually depends on so many factors that can makes privacy can be valued or not. People were talking about the privacy and anonymity but they were actively using centralized exchange site that was forcing the users to complete KYC verification and what's the difference? I meant that's the point.
KYC verification for exchange I think there is no problem if the exchange is verified in the country,
but if not then it can be dangerous, especially if a project asks for KYC I think you should avoid it,
because we can't avoid it then we ourselves have to be careful Be careful to be able to maintain own privacy.
154  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for October on: October 14, 2022, 09:07:01 AM
we are already in the second week and the Bitcoin price is still under $20k,
even though yesterday Elon Musk tweeted about Bitcoin going to $20k,
but the whales actually made it different and instead of going up Bitcoin Dump it to $18k,
but in the end I'm grateful that it's just a wick, and maybe bitcoin is indeed bullish this month.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or Gold Investment? on: October 13, 2022, 10:24:47 PM
both are future investments, because Gold always has value and Bitcoin always has value because Bitcoin depends on the internet,
yes, if the internet doesn't exist then Bitcoin will die, the same as gold, if the earth is destroyed then gold will also die, as simple as that isn't it ?
do not hesitate in investing, for sure you will get a profit if you are patient.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Bearish market the right time to buy coins? on: October 13, 2022, 07:17:47 PM
Of course, it is very feasible in a bear market,
many altcoins are at low prices and you can buy them with small capital and the opportunity to get profit is also large,
of course in bear markets the risks faced are also getting smaller because the prices of altcoins are already at low prices.
157  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trading Volume really matter ? on: October 13, 2022, 06:49:45 PM
oh yes it is very important because you can distinguish a project that is really good or not,
for example if in a pancake swap you see a lot of people trading token A then that is a sign that token A has good fundamentals,
because they believe token A can achieve what they want expect, but if you see token B not being traded that's a sign that the project is bad.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think metaverse have a place in the world on: October 12, 2022, 03:12:18 PM
there has just been good news from META which of course will have a positive impact on Metaverse,
it is reported that Microsoft will work with META to bring office 365 apps to Metaverse,
indeed this is not for the short term but obviously the long term Metaverse will be really big.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for October on: October 11, 2022, 07:16:13 PM
In my opinion, in October, Ethereum will not dump too deep,
it can even be said to be sideways because Ethereum will be in the price range of $1000 to $1300 this month,
so I think Ethereum is still in the sideways zone, but of course if $1000 breakdown,
it's better to cut lose first because it has the potential to dump up to $500.
160  Economy / Economics / Re: Savings during inflation on: October 06, 2022, 02:26:39 PM
basically, inflation is difficult to predict and avoid when it will happen, like bearish and bullish on the crypto market. so, it's true what you said, the best decision when experiencing inflation is to buy all the needs you need without having to delay
Inflation is difficult to predict because of many causes and not easy to control either.
I think when inflation we have to be wise in managing money,
What is clear is that inflation is happening everywhere
