as we are 2-3 days away to mandatory update, will there be some manual how to set new release? i just tryied new release but got: "poolinfo1": "Failed to sign CPID signature (unlock wallet)? not only gui, but also cli versions...

I also think we should have had more time. I don't know why it matters to give the botnet less time to prepare.

I don't understand how proposals just get deleted who decided? Don't masternodes vote? I had something like 44 - 1 votes yes?
We all voted on a bad superblock, one with payments that exceeded the limit, so we had to recreate it with one less proposal. I deleted yours because it appeared to be the least important proposal in the batch. If you want to recover the 120K Im sure the community can come up with that amount easily. EDIT: To clarify, I didnt have power to delete a proposal, I just recreated a good superblock and asked everyone to vote on it. Once the superblock epoch time passes, the proposal is no good - it would have needed recreated anyway. Rob, do you mean it had the least number of yes votes? |

Cool. We are currently in the top 100 and we are only testing! If/when we go live, we can give Gridcoin a run for their money! Imagine, we could get top spot...  Wish I had a VGA cable so I can actually set these up.... Didn't see that one coming. Ha! I'm using G6's. How much were your G7s? I'm getting 6 on a 20A circuit without pushing it too much. It's waaay cheaper to buy than to mine right now. We should actually come out with a website that estimates the cost per biblepay to mine say using $5 per month VPS so we could publish a mining floor price and inspire buyers/investors to buy when the price is below the mining floor price or mining breakeven. They were $139 each with free shipping. I also have a DL385 G7 coming that's AMD. I want to do a comparison because for some reason the DL385 gets 2~3 times the credits according to boincstats.com but on cpubenchmark.net, it's actually 30% faster. |

So which numbers count on pool? HPS, HPS2, or Shares which are the numbers that result in blocks being solved?
If I take CPU that gets 800 HPS on 1 worker I get HPS2 40000 - 60000 and 20 - 40 shares
If I take same CPU and put on 10 workers I get 80 HPS each and HPS2 200000 - 400000 (total) and 80 - 140 shares (total)
These numbers are not exact but just to show if you split your worker you get same HPS but MORE HPS2 and MORE shares.
So which is better for solving blocks? and why is situation 2 possible if that is not helping solve blocks but produce a bigger share of block?
Just FYI I am not in this project to "make more money". I am trying to help solve blocks for the pool. I didn't get involved or buy into biblepay to get rich.
Are you talking about where instead of a PC having 1 wallet with 10 mining threads, you do 10 wallets with 1 mining thread each? I think he is saying 1 wallet 1 mining thread and 10 wallets with 10 mining threads. Basically 10 VMs. |

Any know how to get CPU usage down on Vultr VPS service when running BBP wallets, they have limited my instances due to excess CPU usage. Do I need to decrease genprolimit to 1 when running BBP wallet to get <100% CPU usage.
You can try but when I tried it it was still ~98% or so. |
