First of all one thing I'm sure of, I'm really pissed off I did not care to deal with cryptocurrencies earlier! Damn )
And regarding Bitcoin, well, I chose bitcoin because it gives me an opportunity to participate in the different start-up that enables me to earn income. Bitcoin had a great impact on me especially in financial status since the extra earning I get from it aside from my job. It also enables me to trade only in an easy way. So all in all - that is the best thing a learn from 2017 )

just bought 15x Palit P104-100 (NEBP104117G2-1045D) cards from local reseller. $495 each.
Hi darkneorus, have you done any test for P104-100 on mining ETH and ZEC? yes, I'm also interesting in performance charts of this card and I'd like to see gpu-z screenshot to understand what kind of chip and memory used there and how it is possible to achieve such high speed for eth? cause RX580 - 30 mh for 300$ and this one I can get for 360$ and it can push 41MH? - this is like what -35% more while only 20% higher price? good deal I'd say |

Not, every man can live a 100 years, so why Bitcoin can survives in 100 years?? Maybe will it be surpass within 5-10 years because of the new techh, no one can tell if bitcoin really exists in 10 years. So I don't think it's possible that this happens. There is a lot of speculation about what really happens in bitcoin in 100 years. I'm sure that Bitcoins can survive if it will change and adopt for new need and tech. Otherwise it will die

gtx 1070 12.5MHASH
gtx 1070ti 14MHASH
gtx 1080ti 21MHASH
I see improvement on all my cards compared to the fastest opensource miners.
Some cards have around +5% and other cards have more.
Not decided what to do with the mod yet. I need to add another 5%. Alot of code, so I think It can be done with more work.
well, now with alexis and PL85 my gtx1080ti pushes about 19.3 mh, so 5 of them is doing about 95-97 mh/s so with your mod on PL 100 - it would be like 21 mh/? not sure it worth it, taking into account all heat and electricity cost |

We couldn't achieve any reasonable hashing power in few days... I'd recommend datapaw pool for XZC (Zcoin) ming as an alternative to MPH. Качество должно превалировать над количеством.
а по-моему, любая биржа способствует популяризации проекта. раз существует такое количество бирж, значит они кому-то нужны. про тот же бинанс совсем недавно никто не говорил, на слуху были другие биржи. быстро здесь всё меняется. криптомир вообще живет бешеным ритмом. вот буквально пару месяцев назад hitbtc был топ5 биржей, и вот ее уж потеснили и заговорили, что она скам, якобы задерживает выводы. И ведь не разберешь, так это или нет - быть может конкуренты наговаривают, а может и правда что то не в порядке Но бинанс здорово прибавил, не отнять Но на фоне этой чехарды с биржами, меня радует, что после закрытия новы было принято решение и быстро исполнено, о выходе на криптопию. Время показало, что решение было очень верным. |

Well it is obvious that bitcoin demand is huge because it already works 9 years on the market.
Some countries have already legalized bitcoin or planinig to do it in near future.
You know that general public are used to believing in something that works already and has proven itslef, so bitcoin have been paying money for 9 years already, which means that there is trust in bitcoin.
So i guess those are main reason. TV and Internet now crowding about btc. So this is all a plus for popularity

As title, which is best. My current rig is basic;
2x 1070
2x 1060 6GB
1x 1080
Some motherboard with 13 pcie slots.
850W EVGA PSU.
850W Cheapo PSU for 1080.
I want to expand and add another EVGA PSU and either
3x 1080ti @£680 = £2040
or
5x 1070ti @£420 = £2100
Has anyone trialled both, which is best!?

Hi, I have 5x GTX1080ti and 2 x gtx1070ti my 1080ti cost me like 700$ and 1070ti about 450$ - so it is about 55% diff but if we see the performance wise - the big brother will be faster about 35-45%, in some algos even less for example eqiuhash - 1080ti push - 770 sol/s, while 1070ti can make 535 sol/s - that is about 43%, but neoscrypt it would be 1660 / 1350 kh/s - 22% only so most of the time 1070 will be more balanced. but if you need true power - take big brother! |

I have two units of Palit Dual, I actually removed the coolers and set waterblocks instead, so my stats can't be compared with some air cooled cards, but anyhow I want to share it. So my OC settings are
PL is 90%
Core + 208
Mem + 315
these setting I'm using for neoscrypt and if I'm mine something without high memory usage I use -502 mem instead

Your 750 is 4 years old tech. It would still be able to mine a cryptonote coin but it's not very efficient - it gets obliterated by a single Vega 56. It would be akin to trying to offer Uber services with a Chevy Nova.
Don't bother with Monero. You might be able to do ETN. It probably won't break even with electricity on Ethash.
As others have said, you should do more research - there are tons of old threads detailing what a 750 used to do.

Да честно говоря криптопия немного убогая. Лук на другие биржи тоже надо добавлять  чем вам криптопия то не угодила?? хорошая биржа, с нормальным выбором монет и неплохим оборотом, обычно довольно быстро работает к сожлаению, для объективности должен добавить, что последнее время очень долго работает саппорт |

если подойти формально - да, люди приходили и реально фармили пойнты. но, они ведь делали это не нарушая правил форума?
в правилах написано, если я не ошибаюсь, иметь не менее 3 сообщений за пределами форума дип доминэйшен - имеет? - если имеет, значит проходит, даем доступ.
дальше в каждом таске написано - что если сообщение не устраивает модератора - он его удаляет - и идет минус очки пойнтов . справедливо - вполне.
получается люди сделали работу, популяризировали монету, если их отчеты не были удалены, то модераторы сочли их подходящими.
и тут их полностью забанили - т.е. не удалили неподходящие посты, с вычетом дип пойнтов, а просто забанили. За что? Ведь по формально они не нарушили правил!
я считаю, что Deeper тут не прав.

in terms of choice it's better to put it this way : GTX 1080ti or GTX1070TI
usually difference in performance is about 25-30% for these cards and same price difference - like $760 / $560
so for me the best choice is GTX1080ti only, cause it saves power, slots and best performance

We need a blockchain technology that will rival the speed of VISA or Mastercard (thousands of transactions per second).
Once this happens, we can buy a cup of coffee with bitcoin or our alts.
Governments will fight to the death to retain control of power thru fiat, they may even release their own blockchains.
Money is power. Bitcoin is very disruptive and creating a power shift or distributing it to the masses.
the speed of transactions is important, there is no doubting in that! but my real concern is the spikes of the price! How will you handle them? Say you come to the coffee shop for your morning coffee and instead of 1 coins, they say pay 2! What the heck, yesterday it was only 1, right?! so how you will deal with that kind of stuff? |
