I think Eth has the potential to be the biggest coin in the future, like 2-3 years from now. The coin has an insane amount of real use cases and plenty of good ERC20 tokens already starting to appear and grow...  I think you made a great investment, OP!

Keep in mind that coinmarketcap lists coins by market, but many of those in the top10 right now are losing ground quickly to some newer coins and might not be there in a short time... so sorting top10 by market cap right now is a mistake in my opinion

Gold is the most inconvenient thing ever! Not to mention you face getting scammed a lot buying fake gold... Theres no such thing as fake bitcoin though, so you cant get fooled that yet, even if you're a newbie! Just gotta be careful of phishers and hackers.

The crypto market is still very new! I think anything could happen in the next few years before we etabilish some coins as "mainstream"... Including some coins not even invented yet could take the spotlight, who knows...

ICOs are gonna be regulated and thats a good thing for the future. It means less heavily marketed scams drawing all the attention from the really good projects with working products and good roadmaps/dev teams. I bet we'll be seeing plenty more good dapps popping up very soon

NEO didn't trigger the ICO ban... the MANY MANY scams that happened over the last years did (and we probably havent even heard of most of them if they were locally funded in China and scammed people). Neo was only a platform, and it hasnt even received any icos yet.

Not only a confirmed scammer but a heck of a lot of work for 5k sats, lol. I wonder if anyone is that desperate to fall for this...

You also gotta remember that 5k is a very big psychological wall... Many people probably took profits close to 5k and then the whole China thing happened to pile on top of the sell off...
