141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulating Crypto killing the market? on: April 08, 2018, 07:57:58 PM
The regulation wave all over the world has been a key factor affecting cryptocurrency market. To some extent I think the move to regulate ICOs will eradicate scam ICOs in the crypto world. If the regulation movement materialize then we won't have ICOs that are not compliant any longer.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I do not believe ico anymore on: April 08, 2018, 07:51:40 PM
Its possible not to believe in ICOs anymore if you fall into the category of those that participate in scam ICOs or even ICOs that go minus 60 percent of the ICO price. It can be painful because every investor wants profit from ICOs but most of the ICOs around are scam or either below ICO price when listed on exchanges as a result of too much bonus during ICO.

144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Exchange? on: March 11, 2018, 07:24:32 AM
I often times use binance and kucoin because most of my coins trade on both exchange and those exchange are user friendly because you don't need verification for withdrawal. I love that about those exchanges.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KUCOIN BTC AIRDROP on: March 03, 2018, 05:28:34 PM
I don't trust this kucoin new coin contest airdrop because since the time I have been participating in the contest I haven't received any BTC airdrop. I think kucoin is just doing it to increase its twitter followers. My opinion.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have $ 5000. should start where on: March 03, 2018, 02:29:55 PM
I will advise you participate in a very promising ICO then use part of the money to buy some promising altcoins and be very careful when choosing altcoins and ICO you want to invest so that you will not lose it all.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Will Ethereum reach 1200 again? on: March 03, 2018, 02:25:31 PM
No one can give an exact answer to the above question but what I know is that very soon ethereum can even go above its all time high. If you are holding Ethereum just be patient with it then you will reap more gain when it goes even more higher.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to crypto on: March 01, 2018, 04:28:53 AM
Hey I'm new here and fairly new to crypto. I have been following the forum for a while but now I've decided to register.

I'm slowly building my knowledge everyday, though much to get my head around.

Any tips or advice greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Good to have you around. As regards tips perhaps on investment, don't base all your findings about your investment on bitcointalk forum make findings on other crypto related websites and try to make a balance decision when you want to invest in altcoins or you want to participate in an ICO.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why new ico does not perform old ico on: March 01, 2018, 04:21:32 AM
I think the reason is because of the red market since the beginning of the year. A lot of ICO investors prefer to dump at any price because they believe the price of the coin will keep dumping.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lending Platform - Is this sustainable rates? on: March 01, 2018, 04:16:43 AM
This is another ponzi crypto like bitconnect, Davor and regacoin, if you are not new to crypto I think you know how they ended up. Therefore ponzi scheme is never and can never be sustainable because of the business model.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rewards for holding on: March 01, 2018, 04:06:48 AM
Checkout envion token their ICO actually ended in January and they raised whooping amount of $100M. They have a good ROI on the coins you are holding. They pay dividend per anum.
152  Other / Meta / Re: Rank in Bitcointalk on: March 01, 2018, 03:59:55 AM
No it is not depends on the number of post, it depends on the number of merit. Now it is harder for us to move from jr.member to member. But goodluck man

You are partially right, but get it right that both post count and merit now work side by side, you must have the allotted post count and merit before you move from any rank to another.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think this year will be Red? on: March 01, 2018, 03:56:42 AM
The red market has been triggered by the wave of regulation from different countries of the world, many investors are afraid and preferred not to lose it all. When the regulation wave is over then I think we have a healthy market.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: March 01, 2018, 03:42:43 AM
I truly believe in cryptocurrency because I see it as the future, the world is changing and I see the wave of digital revolution is going around the world. I believe in crypto because am a fan of technological inventions.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop legit or scam on: February 24, 2018, 07:47:34 AM
Most of the airdrops around now are pure scam because the dev doesn't care about the token and infact the airdrop tokens don't have roadmap as to what they plan to do in the future. For me airdrops are hit and run for the dev.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin legal??? on: February 24, 2018, 07:45:00 AM
It depends on your country because its not yet accepted as a means of payment by the government of all countries in the world. One can say bitcoin is legal in Japan because the government recognize it.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NEO coin is the best altcoin in 2018 on: February 21, 2018, 02:48:32 PM
I agree with you. Neo has a great feature just like ethereum. We can see recently that there are some ICOs running on NEO network and I see that as a good development on the part of NEO network. If you say its going to be a huge altcoin in 2018 then I agree.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is new way to get Free money? on: February 21, 2018, 02:44:52 PM
Yes you are right because 70% percent of ICOs around are fake and they are solely for the purpose of hit and run but its important to know that there are still some legit ICOs out there.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $100,000 to invest. Should I buy BTC or ETH or altcoins? on: February 21, 2018, 06:39:43 AM
Invest big in both BTC and ETH and look out for altcoins like NEO, OMG, and PPT then invest like 30% of the $100k in them. Those coins are big and you should get big returns from them.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto has gone to shit on: February 21, 2018, 06:29:43 AM
Scams everywhere now. Greedy ICOS that for some reason need 20 million dollars for a small project, Ridiculous.  Greed everywhere, thousands of coins that serve no purpose.  This is so far removed from satoshi's vision.  Premine bullshit  scams like onion.  Projects that have no reason to be on a fucking blockchain except to cash in money on the hype.  We need another fucking crash to clear out these shitcoins and scams, and you greedy mfer ICO devs are the cause of this bullshit.

I don't really get your concern about this scam coin issue because in your write up you said we need another fucking crash to clear out shitcoins and scam. My question is what is the correlation between market crash and scam coin?
