141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think is the right time to buy BNB now? on: June 12, 2020, 04:42:45 PM
I don't think it would be the right time to buy bnb as it's already inflated a lot and many other exchanges are giving a tough challenge to binance. Even the dex are getting better and normal exchanges are taking place more on dex than on centralized exchanges. Though Binance still remains popular for it's IEO platform, every thing would have it's limit.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Avoid High Transection Fees Like This on: June 11, 2020, 02:10:34 PM
Double check your amounts. Use a QR code payments rather than typing the amount wherever possible. Become more careful when it's about money.
It's your money and you should be careful about what you are doing. People also make mistakes on calculating the fees as satoshi per byte or gwei per byte are not the actual fees.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best features in a mobile crypto wallet? on: June 10, 2020, 04:29:03 PM
Just for features, here are my basic needs.

1. QR codes - Both read and create. Send and receive, save private keys to import and address as contact.
2. Bio-metric lock - Quick with nearly no risks when you have your phone with yourself mostly.
3. Availability of choosing fees - Not a mobile related thing but as most of the mobile wallets are not allowing this.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Someone just paid $2,6M in fees while sending just $133 in ETH on: June 10, 2020, 02:33:23 PM
~
I am pretty much this was because of fat fingers, but how an earth there's no security measures for this kind of thing? It's 2020 already and after seeing this kind of mistakes, i am pretty sure that ETH adoption is further away. Just one warning message informing about the possible huge mistake could have saved millions for this guy.
It is really unfortunate and sad to see these kind of mistakes and this is not the first time i am seeing these mistakes while sending the coins but this is by far the biggest mistake i have seen. Not sure what can be done to retrieve his coins, not sure whether the miners will do the logical outcome in a situation like these as the amount here is 10,668 ETH and it is suicide to mess the gas price and let go off his wealth because of a silly mistake.

No one would reverse the chain just for some thousand ETH sent mistakenly.
This is both the beauty and risk with the blockchain platforms that there's no correction once the transaction has been broadcasted. Though I too believe every wallet should integrate some feature to warn users when they are trying to make some out of the ordinary fees transactions.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects willing choosing bad exchanges? on: June 09, 2020, 03:38:35 PM
No one would willingly choose a bad path. It's the circumstances that makes them do so. Projects needs either some high level links or partnership to reach in a popular exchange or they need to give some hefty fees. If they have none of those options, they go with lesser known exchanges.
Still in my opinion, bad exchanges like Yobit and Livecoin actually self bring those scammy project and list them themselves.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ninety nine percent of new projects are money grabbers on: June 08, 2020, 01:28:21 PM
To me many new projects are here today just for your money, you invest in them and you make them rich, that's why we keep seeing unqualified people becoming developers, it's always about the money, I wish crypto projects are much harder to built, maybe only few scam projects will exists...... I know how easy it is to built erc20 token and website too, God have mercy on investors, I hope solution comes soon

ICO has been a place for people with less experience and dedication to raise funds. The 99% money grabber are those who won't get a loan from banks and friends, one whose project gets no interest by any investors and those that can't even afford to get a business license or rent a room for office.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: June 07, 2020, 02:21:18 PM
Mostly because they don't think anything twice before doing it. And people now have became so hurried that they don't want to research a bit on where they are investing. Many things crypto to be a failsafe earning place which it is not. Though we can also safely say that scams have decreased over time as people are learning from their experience.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it a coincidence that... on: June 07, 2020, 01:39:18 PM
Satoshi intended to keep the average time for a block to 10 minutes. He even referred 10 minutes block on bitcoin whitepaper. The difficulty is modified every 2016 blocks to maintain about that block average.
Halving occurs every 210K blocks. i.e. 2.1 million minutes, that corresponds to 1458 or 1459 days. That is 3+-1 days short of 4 years.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blowing the lid off the CryptoNote/Bytecoin scam (with the exception of Monero) on: June 07, 2020, 01:09:30 PM
Bytecoin surely has a shady premine and should be avoided. Monero is the king of cryptonight without a doubt but there are some new cryptonight coins that looks promising. Electroneum is another coin that making some buzz. It has been here for a good time and their mobile mining simulation helped bring a lot of new users to crypto market. And they are now getting some rise in price as well.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Detective Community Populer? on: June 07, 2020, 11:25:23 AM
The thing I like most about the bounty detective team as they assure the distribution of the reward and act as an escrow. Whether or not the tokens get a value is another aspect but the standard bounty detective team has maintained in bounty management would make it difficult for others to attract bounty participants. They are pioneering a new revolution in bounty industry.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bankera..3 years after ICO...a money grab ICO??? on: June 06, 2020, 01:06:34 PM
They were liars too. The project is outright scam. They presented mediocre exchange to keep investors contained but it too failed miserably. They weren't able to partner with any card issuer to issue their card and they have already sold most of their tokens and assets. As mentioned by a user in their thread, they are not available in their mentioned location.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of good ETH forks? on: June 06, 2020, 02:38:00 AM
I won't suggest you a ETH fork as all of them are useless. Though ETH itself is a fork from ETC, they have become the largest utility coin.
Every other ETH fork after that are just a gimmick to gain popularity. And good developers have stopped forking coins.
If you want competitors for ETH, new chains like Cardano, EOS and to some extent Tron could be a good option.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coss Exchange Unethical Behaviour on: June 04, 2020, 03:37:30 PM
After reading this post, I realized I had staked some coss tokens on the platform and it were earning some droplets of coins in the past. Thanks to the replies above, I was able to login to my account resetting my password but going in, nothing is familiar, the old GUI was more cleaner and better and they have complicated everything and most of all I can't see my balance.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: June 04, 2020, 09:40:45 AM
There are advantages as well as disadvantages for paying on the token for the project. One of the reason why people support giving out tokens is to promote decentralization of the coin distribution and increasing the size of community. But the bounty participants are always in a hurry to redeem their reward and sell their coin, they just remain in the community till the coin is listed. So, I believe giving rewards in USD or alts is a better alternative.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: State of Litecoin on: June 03, 2020, 09:53:19 AM
First, let me say I'm a huge fan of litecoin.

What is everyone's opinion of it and its current state (development, community, future, other)? I'd like to expand my point of view to include other great thoughts and to stop just being a litecoin fanboy because I don't know any better.

Litecoin is one of the coins that's always in my portfolio and it gave me pretty sweet profit especially when the price went above .015 BTC back in 2019 but lately there's not much of action in the coin.

Litecoin is still a fast transacting coin with lower fees. But litecoin surely is on the downtrend, firstly it went out of the Top 5 coin by marketcap and now struggling in Top 10. The reason for it is quite clear as the founder of the coin has sold most of his holding and is not actively involved in the non-existence development of the coin. They have no roadmap ahead and would not last long in the competitive market.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters aren't responsible for dumps on: June 02, 2020, 02:49:28 AM
Bounty participants are just escape goats for most project. The team fails to create a value and blame it all on bounty participants. If the project is sure enough about their success and don't want the bounty tokens to be dumped, they should pay bounty participants on other popular currency rather than their own token. But they don't. Most of the scam ICO are not sold and the team itself dumps most of it's unsold tokens on cheap price on listing which causes the price crash.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jst token and Justin sun on: May 31, 2020, 12:39:24 PM
I don't think that this is Justin Sun supported token though, it looks like the people being are using his name because recently Justin has been in a lot of trouble lately so those criminals was very quick to create this so called token to take advantage of the situation, just like they did with the covid-19 pandemic. I will advise everyone to stay away from this shady project.

Justin Sun is the founder of Tron and the stablecoin is on tron blockchain. Not only that, it's been actively promoted on tron related sites. It's even shown on Tronlink wallet. Couldn't be just a co-incidence for it to be named just.
It also doesn't mean it's something wrong. Justin is actively involved in many projects and a lot of them are receiving success. Wink has got popular, Dlive is gaining some content and this coin is also said to be escrowed on chain. That means no manipulation.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop wasting your electricity on: May 31, 2020, 11:55:10 AM
Cryptonight coins were ones much popular with CPU and GPU miners. The early miners of Monero made some good profit. There were a few other CPU mineable coins that got some price after a time but I don't think any of the mineable coins have got any success after 2018. Electroneum and Grin as well to some extent NIM were profitable a bit ago and now with increased price, they are also getting difficult to mine.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Check your eth wallet address for some token valuation on: May 29, 2020, 11:42:39 AM
enjinx.io is another option that shows more details about the coins than ethplorer and etherscan. They provide a full scree view on Token, amount, price and total value. They even provide better details about token smart contract. They provide name and official site link of recognized tokens all in a much friendly GUI. The holders tab is handy to find how distributed the token is.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 Altcoins Set To Explode in 2020 on: May 29, 2020, 03:54:36 AM
I don't know how you thought of putting POLIS on the list. besides that you also compare with large tokens like ethereum and binance. unreasonable reasons

Polis was just a shill scam. If I were to replace it with anything, it would be Tron. I admit Justin Sun is more of a clown than a reputed leader but Tron is really having some good time with it's adoption be it due to it being a gambling token or be it's platform which is being used by many of new projects and stablecoins. Tron with its supply and low price are making things happen. Now it's valued at just 1.5 cents and it would easily double to 3 cents without any stress about fees.
