I think there are still a lot of bad views of people out there regarding crypto. it's all about market manipulation and money laundering. We can't say that won't happen in crypto because we know the weaknesses and risks of crypto.

As a matter of fact most crypto exchanges don't care, there is money to be made from new projects that want to list on exchanges so telling them NO is loss of money, the only exchange that cares so much about how good a project is for the masses is binance exchange, if all crypto exchange can copy this guys at binance we will have less scam projects in crypto space

If what you mean is price, of course, altcoins that can surpass BTC have happened. YFI can be given as an example. But it is very difficult to leave BTC behind in terms of market value. I don't think this can happen.

FOMO have become one part of crypto which i dont think will vanish any time soon most especially, among the newbies, ive been there before and i know what it feel like, people always try to catch an already flying bird which is close to impossible, some are sometimes lucky by the way, but the fact remains that most the times, FOMOing into a coin always ends in losses and tears.
ive FOMOed into a coin several times when i was still new in this space, sometimes i was lucky to make small profit and most other times, i ended up getting burnt, one experience which i had and quit FOMing was with a coin called EMC2, i FOMOed into this coin with 1000 usd, the price continued to go up quite alright but after some hours, price started going down, in about 6 hours, whats left of my 1000 usd investment was just 290 usd, it was a very bad experience for me, i ended up selling at a great loss, since this incident, i stopped FOMOing.
The problem for new people is that they don't know when to quit their trade. Entering the hype and FOMO when prices go up will leave new traders and investors trapped in a correction. I've seen a lot of people get consumed by the hype and FOMO. |

In my opinion, altcoin season is not ending in May but will start this month. Ethereum is the king of altcoin. Ethereum is hitting new ATH every week. Other coins is pumping with Ethereum. The red market a week ago is now slowly turning green. So I think the real altseason is going to start this month.

Why not do both Right? But for me I'd vote for Investing First, Keep holding on to that coin till the right opportunity comes by. Trading is a lot of analysis and risk taking, so if you are not confident with that skills in hand then you better be of in investing. Try both if you've gain experience, but you'll need some assistance if your having troubles with trading and investing.

As a note I have both litecoin and ethereum, it seems eth will surge once July approaches. Should I continue to hodl litecoin seeing as it hasn’t even hit its ATH yet? I was hoping Litecoin would have shot up sooner so I could get more eth before it decided to shoot up, but oh well.
If I were you, I would rather diversify litecoin over etheruem cause i know for sure that would surely a huge increases in time. Imagine how ethereum coin remains on the top 2 of coinlist from that it signifies how stronger it is. So does Litecoin also have the potential to strengthen and pump hard? I am sure that the two assets he has chosen are investments that will not give you a disappointment. Currently, ethereum may be more aggressive in its increasing market. but LTC also has the same potential. now, ETH may become more expensive with the increase in adoption of new projects increases. |
