145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for early users and bounty hunters! on: September 12, 2017, 07:22:11 AM
Why via twitter?

There is no real info on your site whatsoever. Please elaborate a bit. Why should I link my twitter account with you, what's the benefit, how does it work?

Thanks for your question. The reason to have twitter is 1/ we can notify you via DM when someone responds to your query, 2/ to easily authenticate you in one click and 3/ to learn about your skills and interests so we can send relevant requests your way!

We're opening up the platform to early signees tomorrow so you'll be able to see the whole experience. Smiley

149  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Earn money/tokens by helping others on chat? on: September 03, 2017, 05:21:40 PM
It's an ambitious project, but I like the idea.

Some thoughts:

-) to make this work (and not just be attractive within the limited scope of hthe Crypto-niche), you will have to ensure a really good UX, and also make the project attractive on a mass appeal-kind of scale. Otherwise, you will only have users from the Crypto-community, which can be nice, but it will severly limit the diversity and quality of the answers to certain issues. One of the reasons why places like Quora, Yahoo answers, became so successfull imho, is that they have experts in almost all areas of life. To imitate this, you gotta make sure you attract the average crypto-guy as much as the average non-IT grandpa.

-) I understand the desire to fundraise via an ICO, but I feel like you should try to have as much of a finished product (or even an active community) ready when you launch the ICO, so that this project doesn't get lost within the constant flow of B.S. ICO's on this community and elsewhere.

Good look - looking forward to see how this goes!

Absolutely support it! If it's done as qualitatively as Telegram it will be serious advantage. It should be friendly and understandable even for the most wooden cat. I'm in and ready to join the Twitter bounty-campaign Grin

Our core strength is product design and tech that can deliver seamless experience for end users...we're absolutely stoked about what's cooking under the hood Wink

You can register your interest now on HelpTap to be part of the bounty program and get early access to the product!

I just saw your https://bottr.me/ and now I'm sure that with design quality everything will be fine. I would suggest adding info about Bottr on HelpTap. I think it will be useful. Something like "by bottr.me developers" Cool

That's a great suggestion and thanks for checking it out!

You can definitely count on my cat's brain Grin
You got quite good grades and feedback on Product Hunt for Bottr. Probably, Bottr can be used somehow useful for HelpTap, conceptually and technologically. You probably already took this into account.

And how about asking "the right project question" on Quora?

Smart cats are always welcome Wink

Thanks for doing the background research and yeah we're using majority of tech chunks from Bottr.

What do you mean by "right project question"?
150  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Earn tokens by helping others on chat? on: September 03, 2017, 05:19:15 PM
Yeah... his is exactly what we need right now. People need a whole lot of answer. And if you could pull this through, it might be hugely successful. I'm support your project.

Great, thanks a ton for the support! If you haven't already, please do sign up on https://helptap.com to get early access!
151  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Would you like chat 1-on-1 with Blockchain/Bitcoin experts? on: September 02, 2017, 09:32:38 AM
Most 'experts' I've come in contact with have either no experience really in bitcoin but still likes to give their opinion about the matter or someone who googled information about it and feels like he/she is one reliable source of information re: the subject. But if this would be unique experts in the field (Core devs, pioneers etc) then maybe it's worth the try. Technical info is also readily available in the web if one wants to really research about something.

Thanks for the feedback and really good point - I was thinking about experts like yourself (since you've legendary status here) who've been helping the community in various ways and would surely have lot of insights and knowledge to share with newcomers.

Experts get incentivized through in-app coins that are given by the members seeking help depending on the quality.
152  Other / Beginners & Help / Live chat with bitcoin, blockchain and ICO experts!✨ on: September 02, 2017, 09:03:34 AM
As a beginner/newbie in this field it's very hard to get personalized answers and opinions. The information online is overwhelming for anyone who's just getting started or simply looking for direct answers to their questions.

More often than not we're left wondering and confused. I know this because I faced this issue myself when I was just getting started in the field and had a lot of things I wanted to understand.

If you're interested in chatting with like-minded folks, here's an opportunity to join the exclusive community.

Quite a few people are already waiting to help, so get started now - https://helptap.com  🌟 👍

I think I've already heard about something like this. I mean KickCity project, http://ico.kickcity.io/, Connecting People Through Reward-based Communities on Blockchain

Nope that's not what we're planning to do. Our value proposition is clear underpinned by solid product experience. If you haven't already do take a look at HelpTap
155  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Earn money/tokens by helping others on chat? on: September 01, 2017, 04:28:30 PM
Yes, the one I encountered before did not have an ICO/token and just using pure BTC. I hope for the success of your ICO ofcourse, but what if you failed the ICO? I mean, like having few investors. What will happen with the site / service it offers?

Well you have that edge, AI is really important in that kind of service. I think you could give that seamless UX that you've mentioned above.

It would be nice to try, I'm interested.

To be perfectly honest we see ICO as just a byproduct of a successful product experience that is built on a real need for people to help each other in a decentralized network/economy. If it works it's great we can reward and incentivize the network appropriately but even if it doesn't our mission and service will carry on like we have envisioned. We're already backed by leading VCs/Angels as part of our previous funding round and will be looking to raise more going forward.

We're doing this purely to fulfil our mission to simplify the way world works with human connection and decentralized economy - here are some more details if you're interested: https://medium.com/helptapblog/simplifying-the-way-world-works-70916c81c933

Assurance of operating regardless of ICO being successful or not is important so it's good to know your mission. Thanks and anyway, since there's a limited info here and in your site I would like to ask if you are supporting only English or also local languages? If it's multilingual that will be awesome.

Since our initial focus is on serving members from here and similar bitcoin communities we plan to roll it out only in English at the moment but overtime and based on interest providing multilingual support shouldn't be an issue.

We want to give early evangelists like yourself from this community an exclusive access so if you haven't registered yet would really encourage you to sign up on our platform. Here's the link again for your reference: HelpTap

How about a place where people get connected on chat to share instant answers and recommendations depending on one's area of interest?

We've been exploring this idea and building tech for a while now and would love to hear your feedback/thoughts 🙏

Some more info. here - HelpTap

Your idea is like developing a forum. That is where everyone can participate in the discussion. I do not think this is a good idea to carry on, you need something new.

It's not a forum format.
159  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Earn money/tokens by helping others on chat? on: September 01, 2017, 06:48:16 AM
It's definitely a great idea and one with a lot of potential IF you can make it work.
I was hoping to find a little more info on your landing page.

There are other platforms that allow you to earn Crypto by answering questions (like Quora, Yahoo Answers) but none I believe that do it as a real-time chat, so keen to know more about how it will work.

Sending you an email and keeping my eye on you Smiley

Thanks for your interest but I didn't get any email. You can now register your interest on HelpTap
