What price token? We will set it to the price of ETH at 0.006 USD at the start of the ICO (July 11th)

How much is your soft and hard cap? what would happen if you didn't reach the goal? and How long will the campaign last?
Project hard cap is 10 billion, 5 billion is being made available during the ICO so roughly 50%, team allocation is 4%, advisory allocation 1%, rest is put in to the distribution acocunt to pay for mining rewards for the next 10 years after which we will need to have either built a profitable business or introduce fees to pay miners.
ICO is set to close whenever we reach cap or by the 11th October (3 months)

mladen00 I think 5-10m would still be a great success for the ICO. That would give us enough funds to hire a dev team and build everything we want to do. We have to balance token economics for investors with achieving the maximum potential funding for the company. We only get one shot at an ICO and the more funds we raise the more we have to work with over potentially the next ten years.

Monthly Affiliate Contest

Ambassador Program

We have been lucky enough to receive outstanding support from our community. An ambassador program will allow us to reward the people that help the project in ways which are hard to quantify.

Each week we will have a set amount of tokens to distribute via the ambassador program.

Anyone with a JSEcoin account can submit evidence (please include links or screenshots) to work they have done for the project. We will assess the submissions and give each a rating between 0-100 based on their positive impact to the project, rewards will be distributed accordingly from the available tokens on a weekly basis. Results will be published publicly along with the evidence provided. Breakdown of the distribution will be the sole decision of the JSE internal team and all decisions are final.

Weekly Ambassador Program Budget        – 25,000 JSE

This is a maximum hard cap and budget may not be distributed in full each week. We will try to balance the rewards to the impact and overall benefit to the project in line with the rest of the bounty program.

Whale Commissions

Investors contributing more than $10k USD during the ICO will be manually checked for KYC/AML regulations. At this time we will check their account referral data and the affiliate responsible for sending the user will be sent a 1% commission after the ICO has closed.

We can not break confidentiality or provide any information to affiliates on their referrals. This will be an anonymous commission payout(s).

Olafec no the difficulty is the same for both. There is a target of one hash per 30 second block so if you have a reasonable hash rate which can be adjusted in settings on both the app and the web platform it should work out the same. The desktop app and web platform (self-miners) all operate in one pool with separate payouts to the website publishers (webmasters). The main advantage of the app is you can just leave it running in the background and get it to autostart when your PC starts up without doing anything. Are you finding earnings are higher on the platform as well? We did have a few issues after the updates yesterday which might have affected it but generally they should be the same.

Andrey123 it will be added to 3rd party cryptocurrency exchanges following the close of the ICO. Can't give an exact date as it depends how long it takes to reach the hard cap and the time between application and listing which we have little to no control over. ICO starts in July and has a limit of 3 months if we don't hit the hard cap. As soon as that closes we will make a decision on which exchange to list on and complete the application.

Hi Digitalfaces, no one in the team is allowed to speculate on the valuation of the token post-ICO because it could be deemed as financial advice. Personally I wouldn't like to guess anyway as it will widely tied to what the broader cryptocurrency markets are doing and how well the project gains traction in the run up to the exchange listing. We've priced it in a way that there's room for growth obviously but this will be dependent on open market conditions.

Mladen00 at ICO we will make 5,000,000,000 tokens available at 0.006 USD (+10% bonus month 1, 8% bonus month 2, 5% bonus month 3). Because we are using a Ethereum smart contract we will need to fix the price to ETH, on the day before the ICO. After that the token price will be directly linked to ETH not USD.

I'll answer each question individually.

1. What does it mean to "participate" in the ICO? Does this mean if you want to sell your current stock? Can you only trade this coin if you whitelist yourself?
Participating in the ICO means investing funds into the project. Basically we are giving people the opportunity to purchase JSE tokens for JSE. You only need to get whitelisted at this stage if you are considering investing in the ICO. If you are mining and are happy with your holdings then you don't need to do anything.

2. Is the ICO temporary, or when it happens does this mean that the coin is now available on the coin markets?
The ICO will be temporary, it will close either once the cap is reached or after a 3 month maximum time limit. After the ICO we will apply to 3rd party cryptocurrency exchanges. Once listed you will be able to trade your tokens for BTC/ETH and then ultimately for fiat if you wish to do so.

3. At release this coin will be .006 cents USD. Is it possible this coin can hit 10 cents within a few months?
I can't speculate on price I'm afraid.

4. Could we be at risk to "pump and dump" groups?
Yes because cryptocurrency is open to everyone we have no real way of combating this and I'd suggest that every altcoin with a low-medium market cap is at risk from pump and dump groups. Exchanges have been working hard to stop this but it still goes on.

Yep the standard process is to convert to BTC or ETH on an exchange and then use a broker to convert BTC/ETH to your local fiat currency (someone like localbitcoins/coinbase etc.)

Yes I think it's going to be important for investors to see where there money is going and that we aren't blowing it on Lambos.

The costs are going to go up significantly because I'd like to setup offices in Cambridge and get a small 5-10 person dev team working full time on the project. Eventually I'd like to get as close to the transparency required of public limited companies that list on stock exchanges. Hi Poweralco, the answer is content. The webmaster is providing content and to produce high quality content long-term at scale it needs to be  monetized in some form. Banner ads are one way, mebership sites with subscriptions are another and I hope that browser mining will eventually be seen as a legitimate non-intrusive method of visitors contributing to the content they consume.

@xyburcoin Yes it is more juicy, I don't think this is the mining code as that is basically identical to the web version. I think it's something to do with the app framework. Sorry if I get a bit geeky on you here but we are using software called Electron to basically create an application which runs within a frameless browser window. So the desktop app is still actually running as a Chromium browser. It's likely something in this that is less efficient than running the standalone Chrome browser. Unfortunately this is something out of our control because it's related to the framework rather than our code. There's benefits and drawbacks of the desktop app vs the platform so it's nice to have the option.

@Leodala so I'm not sure I understand the question entirely but I'll talk about some end user advantages. So with regards to speed we run fixed 30 second block cycles. This is different to Bitcoin that has a set difficulty rate and variable block times. By fixing the block times and assessing the hashes on completion we are able to offer transactions speeds which are comparable to existing mainstream technology. On to price, we currently offer fee free transfers, this is a key factor in the projects attractiveness to non-technical users. Everyone can understand the benefit of transferring funds across the globe without losing a percentage. We have retained roughly 45% of the total distribution to pay miners over the next 10 years, once that starts to run out we need to have built a profitable business and controlling organization otherwise we will have to introduce fees to generate mining rewards and keep the system going. This will be one of the long-term challenges for the company and we are currently planning on exploring ad-exchange implementations and enterprise subchain solutions after the ICO.
