141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl altcoins or..? on: March 19, 2020, 04:27:06 PM
Your decision if whether to hold your altcoins or not depends in how you believe in the potential of your altcoin. With the current market status where everything is crashing, it is a good opportunity to buy more altcoins but, that depends on which altcoin to buy. There are many altcoins out there that seems to have good potential in the future, but many don't have. So you better to have research more of these coins and as well as to the alts you're holding.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Store your bitcoin on: March 19, 2020, 04:15:32 PM
Yes, the current market is just temporary because of the effect of this COVID19 virus. As soon as this virus stops and people are treated, everything will be back to normal, just the earlier price of bitcoin this year. Hope everything will soon recover and this virus will stop from spreading. Let's just keep believing and praying and keep on hodling for our future.
143  Economy / Economics / Re: The Corona Pandemic economic guessing game on: March 18, 2020, 11:58:01 PM
I think the country that will suffer the most because of this pandemic virus is Italy. Although the virus originated from China and many people there were infected, they know how to handle this kind of situation. It is also stated that many people have already recovered from it and less people are now reported infected. As for Italy, it has now the largest number of infected people and many people already died from it. If the virus keeps on spreading, there will be many patients to be treated, and the recovery of them will take longer as well as the recovery of their economic status.
144  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people have been panic selling? I didn't. on: March 18, 2020, 11:29:10 PM
After all what's happening to the world- falling stock market and economy because of tha virus outbreak, it is understandable why some people sell their bitcoin, some may not want it but they are forced to do so. It is because they need to buy necessities that are needed for this happening. It may be the reason why bitcoin price crashes as well as the market, but we can't blame them. Just hoping that the market will soon recover as soon as this virus outbreak stop.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's price, and mental health. on: March 18, 2020, 11:19:22 PM
With the current market, many people are sad, disappointed, and frustrated with it. It is understandle but yes indeed, please don't ever try to finish yourself because of this crash. This is just temporary and the market will recover, it may take long time but still it will and everyone still have the chance to recover their lost money. Just keep believing.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is it , it's the end of cryptos on: March 17, 2020, 04:51:07 PM
The price of cryptos alone doesn't define if it is dying. Thenprice falls, yeah and it's pretty obvious why (covid19), even the stock market is also falling, and any other markets because of the current situation we have, but this doesn't mean that it is dying. Sooner or later, as soon as this outbreak stops, the market will then recover and everything will get back to normal.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Conferences getting Postponed. on: March 17, 2020, 04:43:50 PM
With the fast spreading of covid19, almost sll activities that needs presence of many people are now postponed and delay. Here in my country, which is Philippines, almost all school classes and works are now postponed. Classes are now done online and employees are working from home. Also, there are many business that stopped priduction for the meantime because of the outbreak. This is the effect of covid19. Many activities are postponed, which is a much better way to stop the spread of the virus.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY THE BLAME ON BOUNTY HUNTERS FOR SHITCOINS? on: March 11, 2020, 10:52:02 PM
It is given that bounty hunters do not invest their money in order to have tokens from a bounty but rather invest their time and effort to promote projects (well obviously), therefore, people who have these tokens by buying it or investing in it which are the "investors" tends to blame their loss if a project fails to these bounty hunters just because of what I've mentioned. They think that bounty hunters will not lose anything and will always earn money even if they dump the price of a token, which in fact is true, but that doesn't mean that bounty hunters are to be totally blamed. Many bounty hunters believe and wanted to earn more from a bounty because of the time and effort they exerted to that project, they are also like investors so, I don't think it is right to blame them after a project fails.

People should also take a look at the project itself too before blaming someone about something. A good project and team will always succeed and rise even in a bear market. That only means that if a project fails, maybe it is really not that good to standout  and stay in the market.
149  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19: Do not worry the market worry on people. on: March 11, 2020, 10:39:55 PM
I can't say that COVID19 really caused the declination in bitcoin's price, but I can say it is possible. People affected by this virus tends to stay home - classes are suspended as well as employees work are taken to their homes. Without the circulating works and transactions, businesses will crash and it may really lead to recession. This recession can affect the economic status in a very not so nice and negative way just like what is happening to the stock market and maybe to crypto market as well. If this virus ever continue and spread more, people will surely be left no choice but to cash out fiat money from their banks and any investment they have just to have extra money for their everyday use.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not blame it on Corona outbreak on: March 10, 2020, 03:55:09 PM
I think corona virus not only affects the declining of cryptos but as well as the whole economic system of the world. Necause of the outbreak, many people are afraid for their lives and are starting to stay at home, mang establishments are closing that results to decrease in employment and works, that results to economic crash. This may also be the reason why people are starting to convert their cryptos for fiat currencies, in order for them to have tangible money they can use in crisis like this.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's End Game on: March 10, 2020, 03:46:37 PM
Countries which banned bitcoin and other cryptos started to uplift their ban to it because they don't have the right to do so, this is why I don't see the potential of other countries to do same thing again, not today, not in the near future. Although many countries are giving their statements and ideas about making and launching their own cryptocurrencies, still there are no such cryptos that are out in the market, so unless it have, bitcoin will always be safe from dying and vanishing.
152  Economy / Economics / Re: Start investing so you can quit your job and retire early. on: March 10, 2020, 03:31:16 PM
Maybe for some people, they see work as just a way in order to earn money for a living, but to some people, they see work as their passion and I don't see any problems with that. Yes, having vacation and resting is really good, and most people will like that, but being always in a vacation and not having any work just because you are earning money from an investments (if you are earning good ROI) could be really boring. Yes, you'll enjoy it at first, but you'll always seek for something to do.
Also, remember that investing does not give guaranteed profit, knowledge and capital is also needed in this. If you doesn't have this things, earning could be really difficult.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are underutilizing Bitcoin on: March 10, 2020, 03:17:00 PM
Over the years, bitcoin has been used and considered as store of value and until now, it still do. I don't see any problem with that and I don't consider it as underutilizing it if it is kept that way. If people will see and use it as a currency, it is because they see the potential of it as a currency but that doesn't mean that all people should always use bitcoin that way. It still depends on how they see bitcoin - either as a store of value or as a currency. It is the way people will see it's worth.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: harmonization of fiat and crypto on: March 05, 2020, 01:55:10 AM
Fiat and cryptos can both work together without killing one system. Cryptos are made as an alternative for a fiat currency, it does not necessarily mean that it have to replace fiat. Also having many options/tools for transaction is better, that's why we don't really have to make competitions about these two for who will stand strong in the future.

As for cryptos to be used for a countries economy, I don't think the government will agree on that especially if it is bitcoin that will be used. Bitcoin is decentralized, government won't be able to know who make transactions from it and most importantly, they cannot control it. Cryptos are also volatile which may lead to economic recession if it will be used as a store of value then a sudden drop comes to the market.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DAMMIT, I missed another profit opportunity!!! on: March 05, 2020, 01:39:21 AM
Trading is really unpredictable but it's fine cause you just missed a profit opportunity but you still have your litecoin in you, so you still have the chance to make a profit. As long as you hold you coin and not dump it at a lower price than you've bought it, you wouldn't say you losed profit. You just have to be patient in waiting for the next opportunity.
156  Economy / Economics / Re: Can corona virus or any other epidemic disease can collapse Banking? on: March 04, 2020, 06:03:23 PM
I think it can collapse not just banks but the whole economic status of a country. If corona virus will ever infect all countries in the world (which we do not want to happen), all of our economic status will crash and we may even experience global recession. Corona virus is a deadly virus that can be transferred from one person to another with a small interval of time and we are all afraid that it will spread fast and may result to this recession. It will surely affect all countries if it ever happened.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin Could Be The Key To World Peace on: March 04, 2020, 05:51:44 PM
If only for economic issues, maybe it's possible for bitcoin to bring peace to all countries (if they all agree at this) but for so many issues around the world about beliefs, religions, society, and many other things, and I don't think bitcoin can make any solution about that. World peace is a very big word and it is really hard to achieve or we can it is impossible to achieve because of people's different mindsets about everything. So I don't think bitcoin and the blockchain technology can make world peace.
158  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: March 04, 2020, 12:35:51 AM
Some people would want bitcoin to be use as a currency in order to lessen the hustle as well as the transaction fee being used from btc-fiat-item. Some stores accept it as a currency, although it is volatile and there is a big risk to used it as a currency because of its volatility, it is still a good news for some people to know that it can still be used as a currency.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin halving make cryptocurrencies reach all time high again? on: March 04, 2020, 12:11:10 AM
Yes, halving will increase bitcoin's price, that's for sure because of cut in supply that will lead to more demand, but it does not mean that necessarily mean that it will rise all time high. That would be difficult to achieve for a short period of time, but hopefully, halving will help us to get to that point, maybe during the last months of this year or next year.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus ain't helping on: March 02, 2020, 04:23:22 PM
Please, I do agree that corona virus is not helping and will never be a help to anything (except it lessens the population which mah be good for some people which is not to me). It scares people and live many people dead. As for the market, it will never ever help the crypto market or any other market. Economic status of many countries are already crashing living some known establishments and tourist spots to forcely close due to the fear of virus spreading all over the world. This may
lead to world recession if it continues.
