141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin replace gold? on: February 03, 2018, 07:41:05 PM
Yes, bitcoin will replace gold in our society maybe in sooner or later. Since they are slowly dominating in the world and received lots of recognitions and achievements,
there is no doubt about their skills and capabilities to achieve something more in future.

Nope, never
Why would bitcoin replace gold? Gold is a safe haven, which means it remains stable despite unstability in economic, political, etc. Crypto will crash just because of bad news LOL

Crypto is an investment to me, not a safe haven definitely
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to invest in cryptos if you're old? on: February 03, 2018, 11:18:31 AM
I do think so, old people mainly is too strict to change. Crypto's extreme volatility doesnt really suit them. Just imagine they will be having a heart attack just because seeing the market crash like we are experiencing right now LOL
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Ever Be Shutdown? on: February 03, 2018, 03:57:08 AM
I agree with you and I think it's very difficult to close down Bitcoin because of the thousand/millions of supporters it has globally. However, times are tough for Bitcoin and we should get ready for more turbulence ahead. At the end of this, I still believe that Bitcoin will come out stronger.

Volatility is our daily life here, stop complaining about it Grin

If shutdown refers to ban then it wont. Bitcoin and crypto are all decentralized, unlike centralized technology that can be blocked. Good luck to you blocking peer to peer technology like blockchain has Wink
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you use BTC as a digital currency for paying online ? on: February 02, 2018, 04:36:57 PM
I have been into the crypto world for almost 4 months and I have never used btc for online payments, I hope to use it but I couldn`t do because the high fees and the lack of places that accept it.

What? 4 months? You have like 448 activities which means more than a year apparently. Bought account? Grin

To bitcoin isnt used as a currency because of its outrageous fee for me, I only use it for investment purposes as well as use it to buy alts LOL
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet get hacked? on: February 02, 2018, 06:01:23 AM
As long as you are still holding your priv keys, never tell it to the others, not clicking on the phising link and visit the actual website then it's safe. So far MEW proven to be a safe wallet. For phising link, it's quite simple to avoid it. Put your pointer over the link then the actual destination address will showing up on the bottom left of your browser. Make sure the destination address is legit.

How about malwares? Keyloggers?
There are many people got hacked as well eventhough they never get phissed. If you are using your wallet by entering your private key, then you will eventually get hacked, no doubt about that. The only safe wallet is the wallet than even you dont know the private key. In this case the a swer is hardware wallet. Or atleast please use metamask and create new wallet there not importing your current wallet
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to your Bitcoin when you Die? on: February 02, 2018, 05:55:29 AM
No one can bring his/her bitcoin if he/she die. It will just remain in our wallet. If ever I die, there is someone who knows how to withdraw, use, or access it. From the very beginning, he can visit it anytime he wants. So I have no worries that ny bitcoin will be buried too if I die.
I educate one of my cousin about bitcoin, but she does not know how to access my bitcoin.

And now I am curious who is it that know your private key from the very beginning. Who do you trust that much, is it your wife? It is fine if it is really your wife, but if you are still single like me, I really do have no idea who I can trust with LOL
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want to Buy with Bitcoin? on: January 31, 2018, 01:34:47 PM
For me, I have many things I want to buy with my bitcoin but I must help first my family in our daily needs. After I help them I will spend my bitcoin for educational purposes like I will pay my tuition fee in school and I will buy my school supplies. Then after that I will now buy the things I want to buy like a new phone, a house for my family, a car for my parents and also clothes and shoes.

It is nice for you to know bitcoin at such early age, I am pretty sure you will be a le to achieve it all. Study as hard as you can, as high as possible Smiley

To me, I cant just list things that I want to afford in the future. Better way to say it is O want to have a good future, I will spend my money from crypto to do a lot more thing
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook bans cryptocurrency ads.. on: January 31, 2018, 10:05:55 AM
Oh its hot news. So now there wont be any facebook campaign in upcoming ICO bounties?Anyway good move from facebook. They should have done this before.

To me understanding there will be still facebook campaign, only facebook paid ads advertisement is blocked. The dev team will no longer be able to promote their ICO in facebook.

I heard facebook will issue their own crytocurrency, is this move part of that plan of them? Perhaps they want to promote their own coin later LOL
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 💲🚀[BOUNTY][ANN] GLOBCOIN - up to $810,000 BOUNTY GIVING AWAY🚀💲 on: January 30, 2018, 02:50:55 PM
I'm sensing an extension of bounty campaign. I hope this is not the case and that they're not like those projects that keep extending for the sake of reaching hard cap. They could just make a bounty part 2 easily.

I hope not, this is a long campaign and maintaining 20 posts per week isnt really easy. I hope there is a better way to solve this
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want to Buy with Bitcoin? on: January 30, 2018, 02:40:29 PM
i want to buy more bitcoin to my investation, and also i want to develop my own bitcoin

LOL great news! How about creating token? I think it is easier Grin
Please do find something even better than blockchain with your expertise Wink

Accumulating bitcoin is important thing to do for now while it is still cheap. But we also need to prepare another source of income in case crypto fails, who knows
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: January 29, 2018, 08:12:54 AM
In the next year ETH will overtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency.  I would unload your bitcoin while you still can.
ETH is one of the altcoins that is full of potential. I am aware that ETH will become more powerful but it can't overtake bitcoin. People are still prefer to use bitcoins than altcoins.

Nope, thank you
Ethereum is important in crypto and more and more people are realizing it now. I believe its price will still grow even further than current price.
But still, it wont overtake bitcoin, not ethereum not any other alts. Bitcoin is bitcoin, without it there will be no cryptocurrency as we know today. Other than that, bitcoin is the crypto fiat
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to leave Altcoin in Exchange on: January 27, 2018, 12:46:29 PM
With my experience in this short period have been into cryptocurrency trading, when I buy altcoins I do leave it on exchange where I get it but with the issue of exchange hack I think the most safe place to store your altcoins is hardware wallet. You can get hardware wallets like ledger nano or Trezor.

For short period yes it is okay, in case you want to trade it you can just do it. But still do not put decent amount i  an exchange, just small amount of it. No exchange is safe at the moment, no centralized no decentralized. Coincheck recently just hacked, sampe applies with etherdelta.

Invest in hardware wallet, ledger nano is cheap and sturdy enougj to hold uour valuable asset.
153  Other / Meta / Re: Merits could be a character molding. on: January 27, 2018, 11:21:40 AM
I absolutely agree with merit concept, I am now eager to make an even useful post. The only thing I think need adjustment is the merit requirement to rank up, for a full member like me to rank up needs 150 more merits point which is truly difficult for sure. I am not sure I will be able to collect that amount within a year
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Electroneum a SCAM??? on: January 27, 2018, 09:36:16 AM
Well one part ti is a scam. They said that it will be possible to mine it through the cell phones, but that is not true.
Cell phones vulnerability is a good reason to not to do mining, but why they anounced that in the first place.
Is it possible that they didn't know that? It was a good marketing for sure.

I just cant stand this kind of jerk comenting on something without even knowing what they are talking about. Before making any comment please learn a bit about it first and stop making fun of yourself.

It is not actual mining, it is just simulation but getting paid. It is a nother form of airdrop. Its main purpose is getting blockchain to mass adoption, and I believe electroneum is among the first to do that.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange HACKED, $500,000,000+ of XEM stolen? (Japan) on: January 26, 2018, 04:51:18 PM
Shyett happens!
$500m is like 6% of Nem marketcap!

I just looked at the Coincheck CEO face and he was so deeply regret it. Exchanges really do need to doube or even triple their security, we cant let this happen again and again Cry
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people sell bitcoins? on: January 26, 2018, 09:44:23 AM
In my opinion there are two main reason for selling. One of them which is quite happening is panic selling as most of you know. When bitcoin holder sees that prices are going down sharply, he or she get scare and start selling with the herd. Second reason is the need for cash.

Exactly the only reason I can think of panic selling and emergency needs. Why would I sell it for a bike when several months later I can buy a car with the same exact amount of bitcoin. Or maybe there is one other reason why people are selling bitcoin, because they are daytraders! Buy low sell high Grin

This very moment bitcoin is in bad state compared to last year achievement. Impatient newbies will be surely sold all their bitcoin posession and later calling it a scam
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More and more airdrop is a lie, on: January 26, 2018, 08:34:19 AM
You are on right track, In beginner stage most of the people will do this mistakes by signing up for all airdrops what they come across. There are many potential airdrops happening around. Instead of simply sign up, spend some time for each airdrop and find the best.

And don't forget - Once you became pro in finding best, share your knowledge to the community.

Really? You can do that to airdrop? I mean analyzing which airdrop project which will be succesfull? You must be some kind of God!

As far as I know, all if not mpst airdrop projects dont have roadmap, no proper website, no clear team, no whitepaper, no real usability. Where do you analyze your data from? Im just curious LOL
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop? on: January 26, 2018, 03:23:37 AM
Well, airdorp is just a promotional lottery; if you are very lucky, may be you earn something, but in the most of the case you won't have any profit.
Bounty - is it's a good one - can produce a good income, but you need to choose wisely, and of course to keep your agreement.
With the new rules, it will be harder to grow in rank, but at least we wont have to compete with the chaos create by newbies and spammers.

It will be very hard to rank up, but I think this is a better choice. Because the amount of spammers and account farmers are extravagantly massive recently. There are a lot of bounty abuser with tens of accounts linked to tens of twitters and facebooks!

Airdrop is really just a lottery, most of them are worthless. But some of them with proper hodling like few months of hodling could give you $1000++
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: January 26, 2018, 02:34:01 AM
I am investing now and holding coins for the long term because I have a gut feeling that 2018 will belong to altcoins and I am sure they will grow huge in 2018 so I am holding them and hoping I will get a good amount of profit.

I do believe so, 2018 sill be a whole new step for cypto in the game, even bigger than 2017

At my early days learning crypto, as I newbie I tried to do a daytrade and it was definitely frustrating and stressful LOL
I earn not by much but it takes too much of my time and my attention. That's why for now I stick to hodling, better for my health
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Myetherwallet security is too weak. Any other ERC20 Wallet? on: January 25, 2018, 03:33:02 PM
I agree, Myetherwallet is totally safe unless you let outsiders lurk your personal computer.
There's nothing worthy with your wallet but I think your computer was hijacked and it began when you hit those links that will going to infect your computer and then that hijacker is living in your computer's, memory and when it detects wallet keys and passwords then you're dead! Your assets will be dead as well.

I was mainly using MEW to access my wallet until there was a time I heard so many hacks to people around me which scare the shit out of me. Finally I made a good decision to preorder a ledger nano because it is quite difficult to find one here in my country. And it feels even better knowing ledger is not shipping any ledger nano until march. Lucky me to have one before that happen Grin
