141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Laser-etching a Cold Storage Coin on: April 01, 2019, 12:31:45 PM
Anyone seen this video?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SlhCQtG4tc

I was amazed and maybe this could be the next generation of cold storage. It was strange that the video was uploaded in 2017, maybe I was just late seeing it. Anyways, just wanted to share it to everyone in the community and maybe they can have an idea (maybe engraving our seed or private key).  Grin
New technology is created every day, and there are many other technologies developed every day. I believe in the future there will be a cold wallet that meets all the needs of everyone, the absolute safety level for all of our Altcoin. I found that I also missed many right technologies and videos.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now used to send messages to space on: March 28, 2019, 09:31:09 PM
While the platform is currently being tested for fun, its future uses could include transmitting messages worldwide without the risk of censorship.

Full article here: https://www.unblock.news/news/bitcoin-now-used-to-send-messages-to-space
these messages may not be moderated, but it is in public mode, so it is not private. I believe I will not use this feature to chat with someone through the platform provided by Bitcoin. If possible, this is just like an annotation or a text message with transactions that make things more convenient.
143  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Just had account hacked. Please help :S. on: March 28, 2019, 09:10:42 PM
Hello fellow bitcoiners I have recently had my account at an exchange compromised and am out to the tune of tens of thousands. Harsh day to be sure. I realize there is little hope of ever seeing that money again but I would like to investigate this as far as I can. I have the bitcoin address the funds have moved to as well as several IP addresses that were used to carry out the attack. If anyone thinks they can help please message me.

I have changed relevant account information and contacted the exchange. Any suggestions of next steps would be appreciated.
Contacting exchange is one of the right choices when requesting support from the legal management team. Also, I believe that the exchange will support you if this is the cause of the exchange. But I recommend using public exchange platforms and in particular, should turn on all security modes that the trade provides.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to keep the BitCoins Safe? on: March 28, 2019, 09:05:33 PM
To keep Bitcoin safe, separate it from the internet. You can store Bitcoin into storage devices and then split it off the internet to off. Off wallet often avoids complete hacks from hackers, so there is no need to worry about your Bitcoin safety.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is simply too difficult to buy to gain acceptance on: March 27, 2019, 10:58:07 PM
Bitcoin is not so hard to buy as what you want because most countries have people who own Bitcoin, so there are always local currency markets for trading. Also, blockchain technology is anonymized so why should they care about legal nature.
146  Other / Off-topic / Re: The end of all ends on: March 27, 2019, 08:09:27 AM
Hello!
We, all crypto users are wish a long life to bitcoin to it continue to bring us some extra profit on different ways. But one day something new will replace bitcoin. My question is - how many year you give to bitcoin before it will turn totally useless?
I think about another 50-100 years until Bitcoin ends. Currently Bitcoin and Crypto are threatening other economies when attracting a lot of investment from investors at present. I can believe that Bitcoin and Crypto will end when there is a better option to replace them in the future.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin collapse by a global government crackdown? on: March 25, 2019, 06:33:36 AM
It is one of the largest organizations and is considered legal in all regulations. But this does not mean that it can destroy anything it wants. I believe the government cannot do what they wish to with Bitcoin and Crypto. We live in a world with anonymity, they can't control us, and this is great.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding multiple altcoins on: March 21, 2019, 09:08:27 PM
Holding multiple altcoins is a great option when reducing the total loss rate when investing in fixed Altcoin, but this will make the profit impossible to maximize when not all Altcoin grows, in the same way, the moment with a fixed growth rate the same. So this is not the best solution but the best solution.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the king of Altcoin? on: March 21, 2019, 09:03:59 PM
Is USDT considered to be Altcoin? If it is accepted, I will choose USDT because the price is stable and the fluctuation is not large, but its influence is positive. Unlike other Altcoin, USDT will increase even when the market falls sharply because USDT demand from all Trader is very large.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoins are on the up on: March 21, 2019, 08:58:46 PM
Keep your eye on Litecoins they are on the up again They are up over 183% in 2019 so far,  Its gone from $30 up to $61. Smiley
After the events organized by Litecoins earlier this year, it made its price to achieve rapid growth in a short time. Unlike what the market is showing Litecoins continues to grow steadily at a steady pace for a long time. Can Litecoins replace Ethereum?
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm buying alts now on: March 21, 2019, 08:53:36 PM
Up to the present time, the choices you have made are growing strongly and there is a lot of Altcoin that has increased many times since your choice until now. As I see and believe that Altcoin's low prices are easy to grow when the market recovers. But sadly, the price of ETH does not meet our expectations.

153  Economy / Speculation / Re: A chance for Bitcoin to rise! on: February 28, 2019, 12:32:54 PM
For the past months I’m too depressed about my losses since I came in this market unprepared. I try not to be active but the market looks inviting me again to be more responsible for what I’ve done and to do better this time.

Bitcoin started to pump slowly, though its not enough to get back my losses but I think there’s a reason why I should stay. I know I’m not the only one here who lose money but still trying to do their best to have some profit. Thank you to this forum, i was able to rise again and this time I will believe more on the future of bitcoin! Continue to hold!

Edit: I lose almost $2000 before both in trading and in gambling, I know its quiet small for you but that’s a lot of money for me. Thanks to those who help me to survive on this one.
I am glad that the market is going well, instead of dropping like before. I didn't have any losses because I sold them at the peak, but I started hodl some altcoin, so I hope this will be the start of great things.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to replace fiat on: February 28, 2019, 12:13:43 PM
I think that is indeed the right way to reduce debt to the state, and using Blockchain technology will be very profitable in the financial system.

Indeed there are good impression coming from Bitcoin which is the mainstream manifestation of the Blockchain Technology, this technology has brought transparency and freedom for it users. For Bitcoin to possess these features will likely replace the fiat but will take sometime to dethrone FIAT.
This is an incorrect idea to think that it could be deposed by FIAT. Blockchain or Bitcoin technology cannot help a country get richer or reduce public debt. Blockchain and Bitcoin technologies are tools for wealthy people to become richer.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Union Bank of the Philippines Launching Cryptocurrency ATM on: February 26, 2019, 06:03:47 PM
Union Bank of the Philippines Launching Cryptocurrency ATM

Quote
One of the largest banks in the Philippines is reportedly launching a two-way cryptocurrency ATM that is in compliance with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ specifications. In the Philippines, the central bank regulates cryptocurrencies “when used for delivery of financial services, particularly, for payments and remittances.”

https://news.bitcoin.com/union-bank-philippines-cryptocurrency-atm/

Another compelling moved that the Philippines is really working hard and getting closer to adopt bitcoin as one of the biggest bank in the country is launching a crypto ATM. Union Bank seems to be spearheading this, and as far as I can remember this bank is one of the first if not the first to integrate Paypal as well in the country. So let's see how it goes.

In 2018 a bad year for Cryptocurrency but a strong year for the Philippines in the Crypto industry. Many ICOs have launched from this country. And the Philippines is trying to become a strong pioneer country in Cryptocurrency development.
156  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scammers now in telegram on: February 25, 2019, 03:51:01 PM
I have encountered the same problem as you on the telegram. After I joined the discussion on an ICO group I received a message from the is the scammer. They asked me about investment projects I just discussed and gave me an address and said they would give me a higher bonus with other investors through it. Investors should be careful because the team will not contact you first.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung confirms the rumor! on: February 25, 2019, 03:43:58 PM
Providing applications that support Cryptocurrency storage right on the device will help Samsung attract the Bitcoiner who want to own it. Also, this is also an approach to new investors as they explore the method and learn about this new application on their device.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1000 Bitcoin: The World's Most Expensive Prius on: February 25, 2019, 03:35:03 PM
I realize that Bitcoin is like a gold mine for hardworking diggers. Bitcoin once achieved the price of $ 20,000 which is a considerable price. Talented investors always know how to make their investments worth increasing every day as a miracle.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin developers wants to lower blocksize to 300kb to push LN on: February 14, 2019, 07:20:23 PM
https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/btc-developer-causes-controversy-suggesting-300kb-new-block-size-fork-for-lightning-network/

A bitcoin developer actually wants to LOWER !!!!  Huh Angry the blocksize to under a third its current size in order to try to artificially force people to adopt the still not yet ready LN by making bitcoin worse.

Seriously, what the hell is wrong with people in the crypto world?!?

Discuss.
Many people are trying to make changes and help Bitcoin work to achieve new technologies that can compare to existing platforms. This caused everything to turned upside down, and the market was negatively affected.
160  Economy / Economics / Re: JPMorgan Launches JPM Coin, World’s First Bank to Launch Cryptocurrency on: February 14, 2019, 07:14:41 PM
This is like banks accepting the existence of Cryptocurrency, and they see that this is an opportunity for them to grow. I believe that in the future there will be many different banks that accept it and release their crypto.
