141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has a bad day on: March 30, 2018, 10:31:25 AM
Actually not only bitcoin has a bad day, we can also include any other Alts who's also experiencing low market value right now. But I believe there is no need to get panic because of what is goin on in the crypto market, evantually it will go up and will recover again. We all know that this is not the first time crypto market crashes down. Let us just believe and continue support the bitcoin, the recovery maybe slow but it will pump again and that's for sure.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your reason joining here in crypto? on: March 30, 2018, 08:39:17 AM
Our community today is growing bigger and bigger. There are so many recently joined members here in our forum and makes me curious why they are here? I really want to know your real motive in here. Let's speak the truth and be honest of everything because this thing can really affect on how you will interact in the community. After many votes, i'll say my opinion generally to understand what's the real course of joining in this forum.

So why? Let me know.
I want to learn more about crypto. Now that crypto is being known and use by many people worldwide, being knowledgeable about blockchain and crypto is a great opportunity. I can apply my crypto knowledge in trading business. We can also use our knowledge in the near future.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid of hackers? on: March 30, 2018, 08:31:49 AM
Recently Bloomberg posted the information that it took hackers less than 10 years to steal over 14% of all existing Bitcoins and Ethereum from the wallets of their holders. The total sum they have stolen is more than $1,2 billion! How to protect yourself from hackers attacks? Are you afraid of this stuff?
of course many people are afraid of hackers including me. One time I accidentally put my private key while filling up a form for a campaign I joined. Sad to say all my airdrops earnings disappear in a matter of minutes. That's how hackers works fast and easy. That's why we have to be very careful while putting up or wallet address and private key. Hackers are everywhere.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: March 30, 2018, 07:40:48 AM
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

maybe because they haven't experience earning bitcoin and due to lack of knowledge that is why they are still against bitcoin and they still don't believe in bitcoin. These people are afraid to be scam and to lose their money.
145  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Will bitcoin disappear in the future? on: March 29, 2018, 03:10:34 AM
Maybe not. We're now living in a digital world where digital currency is already being known worldwide. Cryptocurrency or bitcoin in particular may dump but it will continue and will recover soon. It is impossible to disappear just because the value is dropping. Maybe new coins will appear in the future but bitcoin will still remain in the market.

Merits serves as a point you can gain once  someone reviewed your post. If he/ she thinks that your posted a good quality post and that it contributes to the forum, you'll gain points on that person. Merit points is also one of the key to increase your rank. That's how you gain merit points. You can read everything on this link...

147  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Para sa mga newbie, (know the scammers) on: March 29, 2018, 02:45:49 AM
149  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to find online work that pays in btc? on: March 27, 2018, 04:58:53 PM
Hi I am looking for online job that would pay in btc or alt coins. It could be admin of some telegram community or anything else. Not able to find the correct thread for such postings. Thanks
you start joining signature campaign o bounty campaign. You will find it on services section for signature campaign and for the bounty try looking at bounty section. There you can choose where to join to earn btc or altcoins.
Here is the link of those two..

150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you own 1 Bitcoin? on: March 27, 2018, 02:58:38 PM
I remember several years ago similar poll was made and i was surprised most of the users answered NO.
In case your answer is still NO, I'd like to know what is your main reason not to own one bitcoin?

EDIT2018:
In 2017 it was 51% YES / 49% NO.
I'll leave voting open and since we are no longer in 2017 I'll change the subject to "Do you own 1 Bitcoin?"

No, I still don't but I am still hoping to own 1 bitcoin. Hopefully this year or for the coming year I will earn 1 btc. I will do my best by joing different campaigns and save my earnings until it reaches 1 bitcoin.
151  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to buy Bitcoin on: March 25, 2018, 06:12:10 AM
So... when to buy Bitcoin? Now.. as it's about to hit $13,000, or wait for a slump?
I think buy bitcoin while it is still low and now is the righ time. Butcoin now is in a low value so don't waste the opportunity to buy now. Buy and hold and for it to increase it's valie before trading.
152  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph new offers! on: March 24, 2018, 08:21:23 PM

http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/money/companies/647068/af-payments-coins-ph-to-enable-beep-card-loading-via-android-smartphone/story/

153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you support to open bitcoin or crypto in college level? on: March 24, 2018, 03:27:17 PM
Would you support to open bitcoin or crypto in college level,so people can go to learn exactly what they need to learn about bitcoin.
I think I will. This will be an additonal knowledge for the students. Now we are living in a digital world and blockchain and cryptocurrency were already created, I guess it is also a good thing to teach college students about this. It might help them in the near future. Being knowledgeable in different things in this world is a good factor for every students especially when they graduated because this might help them while looking for a job.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: Choosing the one | What I think! - Real Job or Full Time Crypto! on: March 23, 2018, 03:12:16 PM
If I were to choose between the two, I would rather choose Real job. Having a regular job is where I get my main source of income. Salary maybe fixed but I used to get overtime pay and bonuses including christmas bonus and 13th month pay which is an additional to my income. I also engage in crypto but I will not rely on this as full time, because the value of crypto is unpredictable and I don't feel secured. My crypto earning also does help but what most important for me is to have a fixed and secured  source of income.
155  Other / Meta / Re: Merit is so unfair on: March 23, 2018, 02:07:39 AM
Isn't it so unfair for the people who is new here? That will be struggling making such as good quality post so they could be given a merit by someone. I know all of you is having a hard time thinking what are you going to post such as good quality.

It is really hard to have a merit it is because as far as I know:
People are selfish. Even though you post a really good quality post still there is a people who won't give you a merit.
Some are alone. Like me, I don't really have much friend who would give me a free merit. I know that it is easy to have a merit with a friend that have an account of bitcointalk.

My question is. Why still need merit? We are still struggling to rank because of the merit.

Being alone here is not easy to reach the next rank because of the merit requirement. I agree with your opinion that some people here are selfish even though they see the post of someone here with the quality but they didn't give merit. Hopefully in the next few months the merit requirement will updated so that the new members are having an opportunity to rank up.
merit system can really make this forum avoid shit posters. Although it is really hard to gain merit even if you give good quality post. Not all member here will give time to read or review other members post just to give merit, they don't really care if you gain merit or not. Well, I guess what we have to do is continue posting comments with quality for sure one of these days we will gain 1 or 2 merits.

157  Economy / Economics / Re: until when will the bounty program remain? on: March 20, 2018, 10:41:57 PM
Over the years there have been a lot of crypto-based-based projects where the business owners offer shares in the form of coins they produce with different kinds of promotions including bounty programs, until when will the gift program remain?
bounty program will stay as long as there is people in this forum who are still interested on joining a campaign. We good profits in bounty that is why many participants are joining because it is really beneficial and helps a lots on our finances. So I guess, bounty will stay for a long time or even for decades.
158  Economy / Economics / Re: PNB looks into use of bitcoin! on: March 20, 2018, 09:41:21 PM
PNB has no plan yet to venture in cryptocurrency but showing their interest in bitcoin is really a big thing. This only proves that we are already aware on blockchain and cryptocurrency. Although there are still a lot of discussion before they decide to completely  embrace blockchain technology at least they are open for more opportunities. Well, let us just hope for the best.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Depending your future in bitcoin... on: March 20, 2018, 02:10:21 PM
I think bitcoin is really a good investment for now, but I don't think it is a good idea to put all your investment in bitcoin or crypto currencies since it is unpredictable and very risky to take. For me it's still better to start your own business than depend your future in bitcoin investment.

What do you think guys?
I agree with you. Although bitcoin is a good one to invest in but depending our future in bitcoin would be very crucial and very risky. For me, I would rather think of other investments or business aside from bitcoin. Our future and our families future is very important that's why we cannot take the risk. Much better to invest in a business that has a good future in the market.
160  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as your main income? on: March 20, 2018, 01:59:15 PM
Bitcoin is an asset and I don't think I can rely on it as my main source of income. I admit I earn profits from bitcoin as my sideline job but I would definitely have a regular job and keep it as my source of income. The price value of bitcoin is not stable so I cannot rely on it forever.
