141  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MyCryptoMixer scam exit? on: June 19, 2021, 05:03:35 PM
2 days ago I sent about 3BTC to MyCryptoMixer and still didn't receive my money.
Mycryptomixer.com and mymixerxtukle6mo.onion is down and MyCryptoMixer@protonmail.com didn't respond to my emails.

Does anyone know anything about what happened?

I have no experience of using this mixer before but was it a trusted mixer site where you were comfortable depositing 3 BTC ?
Normally new sites when see the deposit of 3 bitcoin could easily think to stop the business and scam this amount which is big enough for them.  Sad

Bear Market = Death Cross

So it's cool you know some Bitcoin related words but now you must learn what they mean  Grin

I very well know the bitcoin and its terms but that post was for the newbies who don't understand what is the impact of death cross.
Though i could not explain it well, as death cross is a lagging indicator and hence the damage is already been done before the cross actually happen. At that point is just the panic selling.
143  Other / Archival / Re: Newbies bumping their thread more than once in 24h time period on: June 19, 2021, 03:48:16 PM
He got banned today when I reported him 2nd time.
There are many other who I reported yesterday and they continue today.

Newbies create accounts, they are doing this kind of activity without following any rules. I also follow that they are bumping without waiting 24 hours. Now that the user's account has been banned, he may try to find out why his account has been banned, if he understands the reason then he will refrain from such activities in future.
But I think he will create a new account and come back to the forum and work as before, because the change between them does not come easily.

I am sure he is clever enough to know why his account his banned and he might have farm of newbie accounts to continue this act of spam.
There are some boards where simple bumping does not work to move the thread on top of the board. Is it time to replicate this rule through out the forum  Huh

145  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Source Application - dkbit98 <-- theymos on: June 19, 2021, 06:04:15 AM
Sooner or later theymos will have to re-evaluate merit situation as month after month overall amount of merit shared across the forum is decreasing, with this month having a good chances to reach new all time low. And when it comes to that, Croatian board definitely deserves to be have another merit source, given our board activity and quality of posts.

We need to come up with some precise stats of exactly how much total circulating smerits are decreasing and hence it is difficult for the people to rank up.
I don't think that theymos will re-evaluate the merit situation unless we come up with proper homework and convince him.
146  Other / Meta / Re: Signature spam - how to force users to read before replying? on: June 19, 2021, 05:51:44 AM
You can't force anyone to do anything.

This is more true when those poster don't want to change themselves, then only way to stop them is to make some rules which is not possible in this case.

You can give  glasses to a person who is blind so that he may read but there is no pill developed for spammers. Sad
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fall from 65k to $30k was the best thing to ever happen to Bitcoin on: June 19, 2021, 05:44:28 AM
Some how you might be right but this sounds weird to some people who must have bought the top, the recent dip really cost pain to many crypto investors and traders because it really took them  unaware, everything happened so sudden. But this is still an opportunity to many people! Yes because bitcoin falling from 65K to 30k is really an opportunity to enter into the market because surely $65k isn't the top for bitcoin this year and it's obvious only the diamond hands Will make enough profits.

I didn't touch crypto once Elon Musk joined. The dip that cost pain to crypto investors that you mentioned followed Elon Musk. I knew that was going to happen. Now that Elon Musk left for now, now crypto investors can safely rejoin the crypto market.

Elon Musk tweets could only move the market temporary but not permanently. Recently, he tweeted that Tesla only sold 10% of the bitcoin to check its liquidity which was a good news but that pump remain only for few days and now bitcoin is back near 35,000$. Overall bitcoin is looking bearish.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If governments block Bitcoin, does Bitcoin have no value? on: June 19, 2021, 05:27:49 AM
Anyway, I don't think this problem will exist, banning the use of BTC is almost impossible, it just reduces the scale of human use.
However, the current situation seems to be going very well as there are already countries accepting and using BTC.

It is next to impossible for any government to ban Bitcoin Transactions as it most de-centralized currency and P2P transactions will continue, there is no way to stop it. However, use of Bitcoin for criminal activities is a Major concern which should be addressed by introducing new Anti Money laundering Legislations.

https://www.blockchainconsultus.io/cryptocurrency-crime-uses-ways-stop/

Don't know why government always have the lame excuse that bitcoin is the reason of money laundering. If somehow, bitcoin and crypro is vanished from the planet, will there be no money laundering using fiat  Huh
149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 18, 2021, 09:49:56 AM
If they are able to save 43% of tax it is a huge number and they do not need to complain further and look for alternatives.

The government also needs to think about it. Once of the reason why the ICC was not very keen to allow India to host the tournament was due to the fact that the tax rate is too high there. Most of the countries grant tax exemption to global sporting events, but India never does that. The government needs to realize that there is a lot of indirect benefit from hosting such tournaments, and they can generate a lot of jobs and improve the tourist potential. And also, the generation of indirect taxes also needs to be taken in to account.

What can you expect from a third world country? Government wants a piece of everything in India. They say it is for the benefits of the citizen. To an extent it is true, but not all. The best they should do is reduced the tax. I agree that 43 percent is a big number, they should be realistic and think about other benefits that tournament like this bring to the country.

I thought that India could not host the tournament at the moment because of the pandemic situation there. I don't think any country will refuse to host the tournament in their own country because of more taxes etc. The monetary benefits which comes with hosting, can take over all the taxes.

Hi guys, I hope you are able to participate in the fourth snapshoot for eligibility at the Graphene airdrop.
There are still two snapshoots left and the new date will be announced soon.
The correction of the markets is an excellent opportunity to accumulate at a low price.

What are the dates for the last two snapshots ?
I wonder there hasn't been much activity here. It look like Graphene airdrop hype is dying gradually or its the whole market which is down at the moment ?
151  Other / Meta / Re: Is The Purpose of The Merit System Defeated? on: June 17, 2021, 06:19:06 AM
Newbie restrictions are fine as it is, 'analysing' performance of newbie is stupid idea and will just put extra work on relevant parties.

Analyzing the performance of newbie after certain number of days is a bad idea. We are not here on the job or on the probation period where by our performance is judged after 90 days.
If you notice newbie is shit posting or not posting up to the standard, just report it. There are enough tools in the forum which won't let a shit poster rank up.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The bull market still exists on: June 17, 2021, 02:58:31 AM
Do you doubt that the bull market still exists?

As long as we are over 27,000$, i think the bull market exists. Obviously we do not want to dump too far that recovery from there gets impossible in shorter time frame. Bitcoin has been trying to break the resistance at 40-42K but failed multiple times. I am waiting for bulls to make a daily close over 42,000$.
153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will China's crackdown on Bitcoin cause Bitcoin to become worthless? on: June 17, 2021, 02:01:50 AM
As we all know, in the cryptocurrency market, Chinese account for a large portion. So what impact will the Chinese government's total blockade of Bitcoin have on the cryptocurrency market? The sharp drop in the price of Bitcoin is the result we have seen, so after this blow, can the price of Bitcoin return to its peak, or will it fail? What do you think? I am confused now, hope someone can answer it for me.

China already tried to manipulate the market by spreading the fud of ""China Ban Bitcoin". I am surprised that they always come up with the same fund and people get in the trap. We should learn from the past and should not be worried about such news. Bitcoin will continue to grow even though we are hearing more negative news these days.

History $  Future BTC

155  Economy / Services / Re: Food delivery on: June 11, 2021, 05:39:27 PM
For $20USD of BTC, I will order food delivery to your location. This is a YOLO purchase--you will not get a say in what food you receive. I promise you it will be ~$20USD worth of food (inclusive of tip + platform fees).

I have verified transactions of this service using DOGE. Be my first BTC customer!

You forget to tell in which country/city/location you can deliver the food and also you failed to show the verified transactions you made before using dogecoin.
I'll prefer to buy food from foodpanda app which is trusted and easy to deal with although that does not accept crypto.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Musk cares for $TSLA, not Bitcoin on: June 06, 2021, 09:26:25 AM
Seeing the topic, its obvious that Elon Musk will care about his company Tesla and give preference to it over bitcoin. Elon Musk does not own bitcoin so why he be interested in keeping its price up to certain level. Also alone, he can't do anything and we need to realize that Elon Musk have no control over bitcoin.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should be taxed on: June 06, 2021, 06:24:04 AM
In Ron Paul's view, bitcoin is money, and it should be taxed as such. How do you view this information?

For that bitcoin needs to be regulated by the countries. If crypto is illegal in some countries or there is no certainty on the legalization of bitcoin in some part of the world, people won't pay any taxes on it. Governments need to think and devise a mechanism on how can they tax on bitcoin and other crypto holdings.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you heard about Bitcoin vs. When you first used Bitcoin on: June 06, 2021, 05:25:19 AM
How long did it take you to jump on the Bitcoin bandwagon?

I first heard about Bitcoin in 2009
I first used Bitcoin in 2013

Took me 4 years!

What about you?

Here you mean whether we started to accumulate bitcoin in our wallets or started to spend bitcoin ?

I came to know about bitcoin in 2017 and i started collecting it in the same year. However i did not spend bitcoin in the same year and keep on holding it.
159  Other / Meta / Re: Elon Musk threads are moved to Off-topic ? on: June 06, 2021, 04:23:07 AM
Due to the above part of the thread the OP created, I think it would be most appropriate for the thread to be in economics --> speculation. There are probably a few other Elon Musk threads moved to off topic that probably should be in speculation.

Is it possible that i can move this thread again to economics --> speculation section which seems more appropriate  then the Off-topic section.

Since mods have moved it to off-topic already, moving it again to another section will be a breach of any rule or come in any violations of the forum ?
