There are so many things that I really like about Bitcoin and I think that the biggest advantage of it is that it is decentralised and there is no leader (except Satoshi Nakomoto who disappeared). Most of the people here will say something random but the truth is that most of them love Bitcoin because it is profitable for them. Growing price is also a reason to love Bitcoin but it shouldn't be the main one. People forget about the technology which is used by Bitcoin.

There are many altcoins available on the market but it is really difficult to tell which one will follow Bitcoin and become as popular as it is. There are many altcoins based on Bitcoin (forks) like Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Bitcoin Private etc. and some of them are quite interesting and could become more expensive in the future. I would recommend buying some popular altcoins from the top of coinmarketcap. They seem to be the most stable coins and the most safest beside Bitcoin Cash.

Most governments are currently trying to regulate cryptocurrencies and research them. It won't be easy to stop "the train of FUD". People are constantly asking the same questions or repeating things that are not true. People depend too much on others, they should make their own research especially if they invest a lot of money in crypto. I understand that one can be lazy but there are some limits. How can we stop people from listening to fake news? It is impossible, they will always panic no matter what good happens right after bad news.

A lot of people from bitcointalk are holding their bitcoins because it seems that they understand the value of Bitcoin and believe that it might be worth multiple times more than it is today. It has both advantages and disadvantages. More and more people want to buy BTC but who is going to sell it to them? For now miners do it but it might change once Bitcoin adoption grows and block reward becomes really small. Try to spend some of your bitcoin earnings or at least give some to your friends.

It is really difficult to tell what will happen to Bitcoin in the future. We don't know how much Bitcoin will be worth in the future. It all depends on the level of adoption and usability. That's why we should be worried about more technical stuff rather than staring on the price and the news which started to take interest in Bitcoin. It is also good but they usually spread false information. People easily believe media because they have little knowledge about cryptocurrencies.

I think that Bitcoin price will continue to increase but I would like to focus on new things that might be implemented in Bitcoin. Lightning network will make transactions faster and cheaper. It will decrease the load of the whole chain. However it isn't not a perfect solution because you still have to broadcast a transaction when you open a new channel or close existing one. Now microtransactions will be possible.

I agree that Bitcoin will become new money used by many countries around the world. It will take some time before it happens but it is definitely worth the wait. Many people still don't know about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. We should work on helping them become more popular. Education is a really important factor here because it will help avoid us many problems. Some people are not familiar with technology so they might have problems with it.

I think that Bitcoin will recover but we have to give it some time. People want it to increase all the time without any consequences.  They don't understand that it's not possible for Bitcoin to increase constantly.  I think that 2 months and we will be back to 20 thousand, there are so many positive news that there is no reason for Bitcoin to decrease anymore. People panic way too much

I am not surprised that people who live in Japan are interested in Bitcoin. Japan is now for its high-tech lovers, now their government is trying to regulate Bitcoin in a way which will encourage investors to trade in in their country. Other countries should follow Japan. It will be too late in the next few years, people will prefer to stay in Japan because they will feel confident there. China used to have the highest volume but it looks like due to Bitcoin ban, investors living in China moved to Japan in order to continue. These countries are quite close to each other.

Price reduction is something really healthy for our community. We can easily spot people who panic because they are too afraid of losing money. They don't care what will happen to Bitcoin, they are focused only on their money. People need to understand that Bitcoin won't be increasing forever. There will be always some problems which may stop Bitcoin for some time. Nothing is perfect and nothing will provide you 100% sure profits. People forget about it while investing in Bitcoin and they later think that they have made a huge mistake by buying BTC.

You should be more excited about people who trust correction when it's not at ATH. Many people doubt that Bitcoin will succeed in the future, especially when its price is declining due to some false information or panic like right now. Why should we praise those who buy Bitcoin at ATH. Most of them will eventually sell it because they will be scared of loss.

What a shame that so many people come here only because of money. I try to learn something new about Bitcoin everyday and this forum helps me with it. A lot of people heard about Bitcoin from the news which were saying that Bitcoin has given a lot of profits to investors who bought it few years earlier. Many people who bought Bitcoin won't be able to tell you much about it. They will only encourage you because of profits. That's really bad, people are greedy, they want to earn a lot of money without doing much.

It won't be easy to stop the panic. People listened to FUD, there were many positive news which could encourage more new investors. The only thing that can help now is either patience or waiting for someone to start buying huge amounts of BTC. Someone is dumping a lot of BTC, price goes down and other people also panic. Why is they can't understand that someone does it on purpose? It happened so many times in the past that they should know it. A lot of new people buy cryptocurrencies now, adoption is great but panic is terrible.
