141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alteseason will never happen? on: August 25, 2019, 02:35:37 AM
It will still happen on certain altcoins.  But don't ever have high hopes on those coins that are more than 1000% down from their all time high because the only reason they pump is thanks to the whales. And whales are smart and they will never go back to them after they made their profit so when altseason happens they will only focus on brand new coins which are the IEOs. Those old coins not even all of us traders try to pump them will ever make a significant gain.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gigantic max supply is bad on: August 25, 2019, 02:19:56 AM
It's bad for investors only. But the team has decided billions of supply because the project they created purposely to be used by billions of users in the future and not by only a couple of traders. It means they are going for the top while those small supply projects are like short term projects that are much more dedicated to give returns to their supporters and investors.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new traders are playing to lose on: August 18, 2019, 12:01:35 PM
Are you playing to lose or you are playing to win? a friend of mine lose all his bitcoin to trading and when he started complaining about i decide to take a look and i detected that he traded in a gambler's way.
He has 100$ and he traded just twice with 50$ which results in quick lose,im not an trading expert but most trading platforms always warn traders to limit their trading to the highest of 10$ which would have given him more chances to continue trading

Apart from not learning how trading works he is playing to lose,i think this is what many newbies are doing as well,if you are doing the same you will always end up losing your money,if you want to bet 50$ on a trade you must have thousands  of dollars on the trading platform not trading with 100$ and be praying for a miracle.

Trading is not something you can rush, expert traders out there spend days trading for profits and if a particular day is full of loss they quit trading for that day.

$100 is just a small amount and it was a good lesson for him. But you are right, he could have started small but it can also be beneficial because sooner or later he will do the gambling with big amounts so it's a good thing that the already knows that it don't work and it needs a lot of precautions.  But newbies are really bound to lose first before they feel the rhythm of the game they entered and then finally profiting after.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some bounty managers have no experience on: August 18, 2019, 11:40:40 AM
Developers and teams should always try not to give out their bounty program for their projects to awful bounty managers, many are average and some are newbies and they aren't not very good with their work, imagine having to teach bounty manager how compulsory 'Prove of authentication' posts are when bounty is already ongoing is ridiculous

Well, I noticed that these inexperienced bounty managers are handling crappy projects or most of the time, a scam project and they got the mark of becoming an untrustworthy individual in this community. But no one started with a lot of experience and were best from the start so let them learn the process and you will see a good result so no need to complain unless they are really bad at it.

By the way, your post was plain so I don't get why you had a lot of merit received so it really looks suspicious to me.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Multiple Round ICOs? on: August 18, 2019, 11:28:54 AM
Have you heard of ICOs with multiple rounds? Like they raise a certain amount of money now, use that money for primary aims and goals, and then a few months/years down the line (as part of their original plan) launch a second round to fund additional goals and further project development? Just wondering if this is a thing, if so please provide me with some links to projects that have done so.

Trust me, that ICO is will not do anything good in the end. Two rounds is acceptable but doing it for 3rd and so on and it's going on for a year then it is really bad. I have seen many ICOs reached their softcap but they were showing their true greed when they want to reach close to hardcap. Those ICOs are looking for a quick profit more than the investors.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: dont stop been a bounty hunter because of present condition on: August 18, 2019, 11:22:03 AM
The following are reasons why i think its a bad idea to stop been a bounty hunter

1. Is it just me or it happens to others too?whenever i give up on something thats when that thing will make a good turn, the moment you give up on bounty thats when good projects will come around and you will lose the chance to acquire some tokens

2. Many keeps complaining about how bad some bounty projects are but if you keep choosing projects and you keep failing you will end up been a lot smarter when choosing next time unless you arent ready to learn.

3. Who says altcoin season wont return?many projects seize continues progress because of no altcoin season,i called these projects 'weaklings' but still there will always be good days no matter how long bad days stay around, altcoin season might take longer to come but im sure it will, what about you?

The dream is over brother. There is no altseason that can save the bounty campaign. If you are wandering around and out of this forum, you will find many factors why good bounties are starting to disappear. The whole game has changed and bounty was only significant because cryptocurrencies was never mentioned on mainstream before so they had to use btctalk.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you always invest in top ranked coins? on: August 17, 2019, 10:19:44 AM
People tend to hype the top ranked coins because it is more known and popular but I am not like them. The chance of getting big roi in those top ranked coins is very small compared to small cap coins in the rank between 100-300. Top rank coins can only be profitable in a altseason bullrun but it does not happen every year unlike random coins that can explode to a 100x.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to prepare for long term HODL on: August 17, 2019, 09:59:02 AM
I don't recommend a very long HODL.  HODL should only  for your altcoins that are 10%-20% of portfolio.  Then the rest should be a short term like half a year or a very active swing trading. Everyday there is always an opportunity in the market so use it to your advantage and that also enhances your experience in trading. Like they said, patience is a virtue but just waiting for everything does not give good result because in order to achieve something you need to make effort.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: About New Altcoin's on: August 17, 2019, 09:49:42 AM
Now a day's,  new altcoin getting weird now a days.
Few days back i thought a coin called JINBI they gaining fund  for there coin, after funding they vanish.

where are you bet your money   ??

Is altcoin trustable??

which one is legit??

These scammers can laugh all they want after they have people's money on their ICO but it's going to be the last because they won't have a chance and create another one to do it one more time. People have all their faith now and investment on IEOs and ICO's are like stinky garbage where only fleas come over which refers to dumb and naive investors and bounty hunters.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If bnb overtakes eth on: August 17, 2019, 09:40:16 AM
I am trying to decipher what the future holds for eth, asides its smart contract purposes which of course bnb can offer, what else do you think will help keep eth relevant. Because I see some projects trying to migrate to binance chain, I see that it won't end well for eth as long as bnb keeps improving.

Those people that are migrating to binance chain are clearly doing it because of the bandwagon effect. BNB is like a popular brand of shoes or bag so any project altcoin will do that to have wider trader exposure. And that is the negative side of BNB which is it could be very significant for now because of their IEOs but it's just an artificial growth which is not the case on ETH so I doubt that BNB will overtake it.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if btc drops... on: August 11, 2019, 01:31:07 PM
if btc drops to 7-8k range what happens to alts?

Just picture in your mind the flooding in the noah's ark story but replace the water with blood. That's what is going to happen and the holders of altcoin are the people in the ark experiencing the big flood of blood. I think some would say that alts will probably do a flippening but it is very rare to happen on that occasion because the bear sentiment is going to rule everyone's mind on that moment and they will not BTFD.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you check crypto prices? on: August 11, 2019, 01:17:06 PM
The increase in bitcoin in the last months has brought back the old me when checking crypto prices. When it was the bear market, I even made it once a month because nothing is happening but now that the market has regain its full health, I'm back on it checking 3-5 times in a day. And now that I am into IEO, I invested in a few coins that I kept on checking.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Be careful of bounty campaigns with "download app" requirement on: August 11, 2019, 07:08:46 AM
I am lucky that I was fully aware and informed about this kind of hacking scheme. But then again, downloading an app just a for a few cents or dollars will not even attract gullible victims. And one of my countermeasure when someone is telling me to do that in bounty is to hear the response of the first people who have downloaded that app if in any  case I find the bounty very attractive.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i quit on joining bounty campaign? on: August 11, 2019, 07:01:58 AM
Based on my experience, yes you should. The chances of having a reward in a bounty is not even 50/50 anymore which I believe back in 2018 and it is now more like 10/100 is the chance or could be lower. Just any of these category fails is already a sign that you won't be rewarded in the end and that is softcap, fair devs, and postponed/cancelled project.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will reach $ 2500 on: August 10, 2019, 01:39:06 PM
Then we need bitcoin to reach $100k first and then we start discussing this value for eth. Because if not then ethereum's peak will just be limited to $400-$500 this year or next year. Btc has already pumped 4x from its all time low but eth has just been able to do that 3x despite of having a low price so $2,5k for now is just a dream.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO IS ALIVE AND KICKING on: August 10, 2019, 01:18:47 PM
In my opinion it is difficult to be able to see that ico will be able to succeed again as it used to be because now the time of ico has passed a lot and there is a scam project. IEO itself is also a lot of scams.
IEO is a way for us to get rid of fraud projects in the easiest way, but in the current market, we should only trust the top exchanges because those exchanges will ensure the safety of all investors. I think the IEO will continue to grow even bigger in the future and will definitely be mentioned more in the future so it's best to stay away from ICO because most are scam projects.

I disagree pal. After seeing a lot of IEOs in the past months, IEO are now showing its true colors. The sad part is that Binance is leading the way to make IEOs having no credibility at all. CZ is just making artificial pumps on their shitty IEOs and they are just waiting for a good time to dump on idiot HODL gangs for life. I know there are legit great IEO projects but the other top exchanges should not let shitty projects launch their IEOs on them for huge sum of money.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Almost all the altcoins in red again! on: August 10, 2019, 01:10:38 PM
The bitcoin dominance is on 70% so I know that altcoins will get bloody.  I think it can be raised above much more knowing that the global crisis makes all the investors put their money on either gold, silver and bitcoin. We should not be worry because we need btc to reach a new all time high so altcoins will get next in line.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: too many exchanges and will increase in the future, what do you guys think about on: August 10, 2019, 01:01:53 PM
there are too many projects about exchanges now, and everything looks the same.

do you think there are currently too many crypto exchanges? and when the platform was released did anyone use it?

if seen at this time, there are still many exchanges that do not have trading volume. then why are they still making projects about exchange?

To me, it does not matter. Do you also feel the same or bugged when you  think about that there's a lot of stores or online webstores right now?
It is actually beneficial for customers because all of them one to have a lot of numbers so they are going to adjust to what we want. The smaller the fees and the better the experience will put them to the top.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coins Delisting on: August 04, 2019, 02:50:06 AM
Coins are mostly de-listed from exchange due to the lack of volume. Secondly is when they failed to deliver according to their roadmap which make the Exchange to list them in the first place. When there is no competent hand to deliver according to their promises to the community, their is no point of keeping such project lagging on exchanges.

Agree. Another reason could be is that the exchange is making rooms for new coins to list. Having many coins that does not have their charm or hype anymore will just make the exchange looks like a storage for many shitcoins in the eyes of a trader. If I were the owner of an exchange, my strategy would be listing new coins from top exchanges and delisting old coins that does not have a decent volume or even pump anymore.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Halving: Less than 6 days to go! on: August 04, 2019, 02:32:09 AM
Impact of Litecoin Halving
After being examined carefully, it was clear that Halving resulted in a short "Sell on News" reaction in the weeks leading up to the event. In the case of Bitcoin, there was a price drop of about 30-50 percent, as did Litecoin.

Because of this, I now worry about the halving of btc next year. I know that it is also a sell on news on our part but it's btc so it could still trigger an aggressive pump for an all time high. Litecoin might not be very popular anymore so that is why not a lot of traders want to pump it and it should be whales doing the work right now so others will feel the fomo but even them did not contribute to help ltc make a noise in the market to enhance ltc's exposure significantly.
