So why you so upset if everyone makes so much money on it? yeah was just on youtube watching some videos of people making a killing on Bitconnect. Even giving away their referral bonuses to new signups. Reminds me of Avon and Primerica. Was thinking of signing up just to get that bonus plus the 1% a day doesnt sound too bad but these pyramids scare me. |

Im thinking as same as you. People was holding and crazily buying btc for getting fork coin. Now no fork. Im expecting alts getting value. First eth.. me 3, while everyone buying BTC, I was selling and buying alts. Shame I didn't have more money. Oh well lets hope more forks are in the near future to gather the sheep again. |

Any speculations on the price? Price was climbing towards $7500 and suddenly dropped to $7000. So is it going to drop more or gonna increase to 8000k?
It will fall to at least 6k since the futures price on the fork was over $2000. That free money is now gone. If it stays above 6k I'd be very surprised. |

Thats not a good thing, thats really terrible for people who purchased bitcoin at high price, I am sure in few hours bitcoin will be dumped and alts will rise. I am not aganist alt rising price but seriously why they cancelled the segwit2x just before a week?

This is the sexiest news I/we had all been waiting for since the drama emerged for 2x. I believe they won't stop here and will come back in the future and you may call it "postponed" instead of "canceled", but this shows that Bitcoin wins the miners' hearts as well as investors' confidence and the index levels are enough to prove that. RIP S2X, let us begin our journey to 10k (but after a possible correction of 500 - 1500 USD down).  Continued price increase means lots of people still haven't gotten this news. So here is what Contraband says in regards to the official pools holding payouts: Just dont hold your breath guys. If a pool doesnt work, use a different one.

Im just being honest on my take on it. Pools that I have seen broken in the past have never paid out coins later, because there is no coins because they were broken.
If you watch the guy who took the video, he said the pool he was on wasnt giving him anything, so he changed pools.
And my response: Pool's software contains four modules:
- Pool - it opens ports for miners to connect and processes shares
- API - used by the website to display network, pool and miners' data
- Unlocker - processes block candidates and increases miners' balances when blocks are unlocked
- Payments - sends out payments to miners according to their balances stored in redis database.
Two modules stopped/hanged on Electroneum pools - unlocker and payments.
Once these modules are restarted, there is a high chance the payments will be processed automatically.
Now, if Development team is not capable of completing such an easy task, what kind of future this coin will have? ^^^^This^^^^Amen |

We are reconvening at the office at 7am and we'll get cracking again. I know I keep saying it, but we are nearly there! So sorry for these delays, all I can say is that the code changes are important, or I wouldn't be doing them. not impressed, can't set up a secure website, can't setup a wallet, can't create a working app. Millions raised and this is the best? Seems its time for some people with experience ... 2 "real coders" and a security expert and this could have been be solved. In the end have no doubt this will be an ongoing mess of redos, disappointments, fixes, apologies and missed deadliines. |

You put more money into this??? 😱😳😳 Ive gone back and forth myself thinking of what to do... I sold half of what i bought at stage 1 for some what of a profit.. held on to most of the rest... sold some more bought some more for more of a profit.. Hodling 30k.. may as well keep them but buying more.. i dont know not enough movement in the project for me to want to put anymore into it at this moment Phew! I only bought 3k at ICO. At current prices, my investment in btc would be worth 110$, investing it in WiC has so far turned my 110$ into roughly 12$  This is how we learn in crypto, for me it wasnt an overly expensive lesson, but I still hope to see this project succeed, I like the idea and think there could be many people who could profit from it. yeah same here, my investment is in a big whole as well. But, still optimistic because unlike most other projects they actually have a working product (app store), so don't feel too bad. |

Downloaded wallet about 48 hours ago and transfered my okcash from exchange to wallet before realizing that blockchain had to be downloaded/synced first. Have been syncing continuously and still only at 30% completion and my blimey coins are stuck until completion, still showing 0 balance. I hope my coins show up when syncing done  |

everyone obviously pushing bitcoin (bitcoin site) but do the math before jumping all into bitcoin. The first thing is that you need to set at minimum a standard risk:reward ratio of 1:2 because even though you are unlikely to lose all 100k, you ARE none the less risking that ENTIRE amount (theft, error, regulation, disaster etc).
Given that R:R of 1:2 you need to make 200k profit. At 7k-8k per coin you can buy at most 12-13 Bitcoins with 100k, which means the price would have to rise to about 15,000 per coin.
You have to decide if that will happen within your time frame or ever. People who already have hundreds of coins are chanting loudly 1 million per coin, sure, maybe, but to me bitcoin is now a game only whales and the sheep that follow them play. You can make money but 100k is peanuts for bitcoin riches now. Yes, do bitcoin but make sure you have a good portion in alts where risk:reward is more attainable if you do research and are not greedy. This thing is too new to ignore that option.
