Sorry but your'e wrong here! We have only left 1% staking reward since july 2019 and for the future. I'm glad to have been aboard in times we had 10 and 5% reward per anno  Why such low annual reward from staking? What is the total yearly inflation? Staking was at 10% for the first year, 5% for the second and now that DeepOnion is going through its third year it's 1%. That has always meant to be the case, the team had said so from the start. That's why early adoption is important. |

This is a marathon, not a sprint, i tend to buy a little every payday, that way you dont stress too much about entry prices and when is it going to to go up.
That's the right way to go. Most cryptocurrencies that have any substance are currently undervalued. This means that your Onions will be worth way more in the future. |

DeepOnion is an anonymous cryptocurrency, and everything concerning this coin can be found at deeponion.org in a very nice looking website. It's not a 5 minute read but it will not take too much of your time to understand how it works, I promise |

I checked the new feature of Polispay, it looks very nice. I would like to see someone paying for Netflix with ONION. Something like this could increase the adoption of the coin.
No one yet used Polispay? That's not good. As far as I can remember, we were selected through voting system, so, if there's no client at all, any chance that they will delist us? In our local, it's not allowed to use cryptocurrency, however, I may try it and be the first to use ONION for Netflix. It would be better if there was some kind of bonus, I could influence some people I met on Facebook group who are a regular subscriber of Netflix, I could ask them to use Polispay. Now, wait a second. Where do you get your sources? People have used Polispay, I myself have a few Onions in the Polispay wallet. However, it must be noted that Polispay is making it difficult for us to use DeepOnion for our transactions because of a lot of bugs in their app. For me, it's an error that doesn't let me send the Onions to another address, which they'd told me they're working on a few weeks ago. Maybe it's even been resolved, I didn't check their progress after the last update but to be honest, I'm not in a hurry to spend any Onions so it doesn't matter to me yet. |

There is not an exact date, since they must to be 100% sure that DeepSend works well. If you ask me I think it will be released at the end of the year (maybe November or before) but itīs just my guess.
Everything can be, there are no guarantees. But there is a concern that if the expected rise of altcoins will happen before the release of DeepSend, this rise will happen without Onion. It will be a disappointment... Well, I don't think the rise of altcoins will happen before 2020 at this point. Remember, BTC bull run comes before altcoin market bull run, as it has been demonstrated in the past. Even if that were to happen before the release of DeepSend, however, I think that DeepOnion has much to offer beyond DeepSend. VoteCentral is up and running more than a year now, there are ecommerce plugins to be used as DeepOnion payment options, etc. Not to mention that the news from Europe makes me believe that they're trying to make any cryptocurrencies that aren't issued by governments obsolete, especially ever since they noticed the intentions of Facebook, which means that more regulations are probably coming and the only coins that will remain unaffected are the ones that have the ability to hide the user's activity, as privacy coins do. |

ive tested the experience as a newcomer.
downloaded wallet, downloaded quicksync chain, run the wallet, installed the blockchain, and 3min later i had a working deeponion wallet fully synced into mainnet.
thats exactly how it should be. while many other gave up, deeponion only got stronger.
Yes, the last version (2.0.4.1 I believe it was) fixed most issues people had with the previous versions, thanks to the developers identifying and working to fix everything. I didn't download it as a new user but I made the update and everything looks fine from my end too. |

DeepSend is what we need to be aside Monero, Dash, Verge, Zcash.. Can you tell me please what is DeepSend and why is this better than algorithms that have other anonymous coins (Monero, Dash etc)? As I understand this will be implemented Tor functions at last? at firstly it will be optional feature. If you want send understandable transaction you can not use deepsend and will see in blockchain understandable transaction. Some time it may be need for legal payments where need show some reports with payment details. Some privacy coins cant allow this and cant be used in this way. at 2nd DeepSend nodes very easy to setup. Will be need only wallet synced with network with minimal requred balance ( 200 onion for now as i know to enable deepsend feature). These nodes will help with transactions and nodes owners may earn some money. DeepSend nodes will be able to earn money almost in some way as masternodes, but without centralisation. Masternodes its centralisation. We no need any masters in our network.All network participants should have same privilegies. I saw the new coinmarketcap ranking methodology, still can't tell how will DeepOnion fare.
currently rank 469, we were in the top100 once didnt we ?! what happend ? everybody lost trust and dumped? I don't know about top 100, we were certainly top 200 at some point. And it was never loss of trust, a lot of people got free Onions and then dumped, it happens to a lot of projects who do airdrops. It's not that they didn't trust DeepOnion, it's that they never intended to hold their coins in the first place. As a matter of fact, whoever's been following the project does know that the team is trustworthy and they keep working on new features. |

For the new DO versions, where the wallet file should be? inside DeepOnion folder or inside wallets folder only?
This was updated and the "Wallet" folder is not used anymore by the latest release. So where the wallet.dat file is? Or we don't need this file too? It's in the DeepOnion folder with the rest of the local files. Windows: %appdata%\DeepOnion\wallet.dat Linux: ~/.DeepOnion/wallet.dat MacOS: /Users/$USER/Library/Application Support/DeepOnion/wallet.dat If that's the case, then the wallet.dat file should be where it always was. I haven't updated yet and it's in that place on my computer. |
