reduce cpu load
minor performance improvements
This release contains many internal optimizations. CPU load is lower by about 15%-20% now. The solver contains some minor performance improvements - it's about 2%-2.5% on an 1060 and about 0.2% on faster GPUs. People on overclocked systems may have to readjust their setting since this version 'pushes' the GPUs slightly more.

I have been running this miner in ethos for 24 hours. It reports more sols than ewbf, but it seems to drop from the zen suprnova pool regularly. I can see miners drop and reappear just staying logged in and watching. Anyone else see this issue? I plan to leave this running for more days, but curious if others are seeing this or if this may be normal. ewbf didn't have this same behaviour on suprnova.
I got problem with ZEN same as you. Dev said what it's normal, said server sent packet which information to close connection, but could ZM ignore this packet? This packet got all card in the same time? (8 my cards reconnects) |

No it's not connected to overclocking. This happens if the remote host/server closes the connection - it might also happen if your local network goes down. I have problem with BTG on SUPRNova Pool time to time i get message error recv failed: 10054 and my contime timer resets, EWBF on same server work without reconnect. It can happend afteer 5-10 hours of work ZM. Nothing major but may be ZM can ignore packet which make him recconect? (Same was for ZEN on https://zenmine.pro/) |

You might see it more often on zm since it uses multiple connections, however you should also see similar behavior on other mining software.

One from my rings on EWBF and he is work properly on this poll, without reconnect 2 hours in the time while dstm have a lot of reconnect.
I'm sure it was in the same time.

Could you make an application auto-restart when an error occurs during overclocking? How is it done in EWBF?
After the crash, I get a message that the process is stopped and click OK. The VM does not restart automatically, it's very uncomfortable. I understand that I have to find a balance between overclocking and stability, but there is not enough autorestart to do this.

Actually this is something that increases memory latency as far as I understand. Can be doubling the buffer in 2 times, eventually give more SOL with an increased delay? Is it possible to check? |

 After some times i see what my preformance is significantly reduced. This does not cause any error. It only works at 1% of its capacity. |

I'm somewhat unhappy with 0.5.3, I've discovered 2 bugs so far. If it's unstable for you use 0.5.2 pls. I'm rechecking it's changes.
Friend, could you check performance on gtx1080 ? It's don't have increased performance to compare EWBF miner. I have advantage on 1060, 1070, 1080ti around 5%, but 1080 have same score or less than ewbf's miner. And please add uptime timer in browser telemetry. Tnx you very much. P.S. GDDR5X trash? Any chance to get some advantage from this type of memory in your miner? |
