141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I invest in altcoin now? on: June 29, 2018, 01:13:20 AM
The best to do is do your own research. People here will eventually promote their favorite coin and becomes bias. Do your own research, I know it will take a lot of time but it will be all worth it. There are a lot of good coins out there with a lot of potentials just do your research and you should be fine.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose best ICO among many new ICOs on: June 27, 2018, 02:06:40 AM
Look for a good team managing and running the ico. Active people and engaging towards its investors are a good signs of a good ico. I have seen a lot of ico lately whose administrators are non responsive and doesn't entertain its investors which is a bad sign. But before completely trusting them be sure to check them for credibility as well. There have been a lot of scammers lately posing just to fool people.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reading Whitepapers on: June 26, 2018, 01:36:42 AM
Many people or potential investors honestly does not read the whitepaper of ico's. All they do is look for some hype ico's just to find out in the end that it was all a scam. Whitepaper I believe is the most important thing in every ico's. I lnow reading the whitepaper can be boring but trist me it helps you understand more about the ico's and it helps you determine wether this ico is worth to invest in or not.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tips on how to avoid Scam ICO's? on: June 25, 2018, 01:27:01 AM
Nowadays, Many scam projects exists it is because lack of securities/regulations i think Bitcointalk  should implement this Rules and Regulations for the sake of us investors, Bounty Managers, Community Hired Admins, as well as Bounty hunters who give their full effort to promote the running projects.

Tips on how to avoid scam projects;
• You should better look their Website read each carefully thus the implementation of views, missions, and concepts of the project's is realistic.

• Look on the Whitepaper for full information if you see lack of information that is need and seen not realistic.
• Look their Community and Social Links weither it is exists and running not fake.
• Look for transparency as well.
• Concised ideas and implementation
• Real acccounts and exists Team members on their different Socials.
• Running Activities and Should look if they Stick to their plans accordingly to the Roadmap & Whitepaper.
Thank you for these wonderful tips. You saved a lot of newbie investors from being scammed with these helpful tips. Researching is indeed your greatest weapon against scam ico's. Always take the time to check and research to avoid not wasting your time and money. Reading the whitepaper also helps you a lot, I know it can be long and boring but you have to go through it in order to know the ico very well.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: June 24, 2018, 03:54:39 AM
I'm extremely depressed about my impatience and persistence.
I'm a stupid man. Fuck myself.
I bought the ETC when its price was 15$, i kept it for three months, including when it down at 9$, I still don't sell, because i believe it. And when ETC rise to 15$. I sold everything and waited it down $ 13 to buy more. But, fuck myself, the next day it rise to fucking 30$, Are you kidding me?
I bought 5000 XRP from May, i still believe it, I bought more yesterday, I bought when its price was 0,00001610sts, and when it down 0,00001558, i afraid BTC up, XRP down. So i sold everything. And... This morning I woke up with a sense of chest not say words.

This is my mistake, definitely like that. I can't blame anyone.
I told myself, "The market is still there. Nothing to hurry"
I don't complain, i post here just relieve stress. I didn't  tell anyone about this, including my wife.
Thank for listening.
I think almost all of us here has made stupid decisions like what you did so don't be to hard on yourself. Like you I also lost money just because of a bad decisions and being impatient. Cryptocurrency is not easy and you can't become rich overnight. It takes time and a whole lot of patience to survive and reach the top. Learn from that mistake and start again. Don't give up.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The End Of The Bounty. on: June 23, 2018, 11:59:17 PM
I do hope bounty campaigns will not end for it is one of main source of free tokens which I turn into money. Although I agree with you the quality of bounty campaigns has been crap lately and more and more scammers or failed campaigns have increased. I hope there would be like a regulation or a way to control it so people will only see those genuine campaings.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH worth buying now or wait? on: June 23, 2018, 01:20:04 AM
I have been waiting to buy ETH for last 6 months. Is it good time to buy ETH or shall I wait more?
If I were you I will start buying ethereum as soon as possible. Ethereum has gain a lot of popularity recently because of the rise of different icos. Icos have been using ethereum as it main platform which adds to Ethereums popularity. With this dip going on, it is the perfect opportunity to buy cheap ethereum to hold.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in the bright future of Crypto? on: June 20, 2018, 12:25:53 AM
Compared on how it all started we are still in good shape. Jist because you lost money with your investment means that it is the end. That is how cryptocurrency work it is not all big profit and becoming rich overnight. Even if things have become bad these past few days I still believe in cryptocurrency and I won't stop buying.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost over 80k because i sold too early (newbie mistake) on: June 19, 2018, 05:59:35 AM
Cryptocurrency is unpredictable and anything can happen anytime. What you made is one of the most common mistake every newbie make. As you know cryptocurrency is not that easy as it seems and a lot of people have devoted time to gain experience. I hope you don't lose hope after that mistake, learn from that experience and continue.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your biggest mistake up to now on: June 19, 2018, 01:16:05 AM
Recently

I bought iotx , and sold it after two days. Unfortunetly next day it listed on binance , iotx moon . I have lost of oppertunity of 12000$

Thats biggest mistake done recently. Share your ones ?
i think most of is made that mistake often specially when we are just starting with cryptocurrency. I too did made that mistake, buying this coin then selling it after a couple of days and then regretting my decision because the price suddenly goes up. The most important thing is to learn from those mistake and avoid doing it again.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I do not panic when the market falls on: June 17, 2018, 04:27:33 AM
Having a lot of experience really helps when making decisions. The easiest mistakes made by newbie investors is to sell when the market goes down. On the other hand veteran and seasoned investors buy more coins to hold during these times rather than selling. Market will always go up and down it is like a normal cycle.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My $36,000 Invesment Turned Out Now $12,000 - Still Holding on: June 17, 2018, 12:57:39 AM
You are not the only one with that situation right now. Almost all of us are in that situation. I know it is hard and seems selling is the only way but don't do it. Keep on holding and wait for the green light. There is no point on selling when you can't earn any profit. Be patient and hold on to those precious coins.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Being aware of SCAMS on: June 16, 2018, 04:38:38 AM
Yes I believe as days goes by it is definitely getting hard to detect a scam project. I too was a victim of a scam project as well. I never even have a slight thought that the project was a scam after all. Everything was so good and was running smoothly. Then after the project the people behind things just vanished. Turns out those people were using fake accounts and fake pictures.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who makes more in the end? A good trader or a holder? Thoughts? on: June 16, 2018, 01:38:32 AM
As the title said, Who makes more in the end? I been on trading for quite times, been scalping and learned a few lesson in technical analysis.
A trader or a holder , who earned a lot and takes more .
This is a tough one. Both are good ways of making profit. I think with proper knowledge and a lot of skills I think a trader would earn more than holding. In holding all you do is wait for the price to go up while on trading you explore many coins as much as possible just to find that one who has potential of good profit. But in the end I think it is still on the person doing things, depends on how diligent and how skillful he is.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you join ICOs that requires KYC? on: June 14, 2018, 12:48:57 AM
For me I only join ico which I believe has potential and can give me great profit wether they implement kyc or not. Kyc is not that bad I think. It gives credibility to the ico and makes things a little secured compared to an all anonymous ico's. Yes the best quality about cryptocurrency is anonymity but sometimes it is necessary to give a couple of information as well.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the price of a coin goes down and down after distributing the bounty token ? on: June 13, 2018, 05:46:41 AM
I think the main reason why coins lose their value fast after the ico because of the bounty campaign participants directly sell and dump their earnings. With many coins being dump at the same time the result would be obvious, the price drops so low. A lot of ico have started implementing a lock up for those bounty hunters which I believe is a good way to stabilize the value of the coins after the ico.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more effective Bounty or Airdrops ? on: June 12, 2018, 04:15:30 AM
Both are good but bounty campaigns is a lot better. With bounty campaigns you earn big rewards compared to airdrops which is only a fraction and sometimes dump coins. Even though you have a lot of task to do in bounty campaigns than in airdrops but in the end it will all be worth it.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your reason joining here in crypto? on: June 12, 2018, 12:00:26 AM
My main reason is to get or earn profit. My friend has been in the cryptocurrency industry for quite some time now and he has been earning quite well. I was always looking for an extra income of some sort cause my regular job seems not enough. So here I am now, enjoying and learning more and more about cryptocurrency.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty and too many participants on: June 10, 2018, 11:45:02 PM
There are both good and bad sides woth the increase of bounty hunters. More bounty hunters means more promoting of the ico which means a higher rate of ico being successful. On the other hand the more bounty hunters means the less and low bounty rewards we receive. The ico rewards will get divided so the more the participants the less they will get.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Your Job is The Worst Idea on: June 10, 2018, 02:07:26 AM
I agree with your statement. For me it is not ideal to just leave your steady stable job and pursue a volatile and risky cryptocurrency. Not all the time you earn profit in cryptocurrency specially during dips and red days so it is always nice to have a steady income to sustain your daily needs. Even though I earn more with cryptocurrency compared to my steady job, I still prefer to keep it just in case everything fails in cryptocurrency.
