141  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the common cause of poverty? on: November 09, 2017, 09:00:06 PM
There is no clear answer when asking  the causes of poverty. Poverty remains one of the most complex issues in the world with no clear resolution in sight. The inequality gap between the rich and poor continues to grow. poorverty can cause by Colonization  inequality, countries that began their modern history with large inequalities evolve into societies that continue to hold these patterns of wealth distribution. Thus, countries that experienced colonization and slavery had trouble getting rid of the institutions that provided “higher class citizens” with more money and resources. Colonization also often led to discrimination, thus, those who were deemed inferior were more likely to become impoverished.

If religions are born, they must also be able to die. How does this happen? I think we can discount at once the idea that it happens because people realise that science is better. It's obvious that the more people try to replace religion with science, the more they reproduce the worst features of organised religion.
143  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: November 05, 2017, 10:24:39 PM
We believe in God because God has revealed himself to us. How has God revealed himself? He has revealed himself in creation In the original creation, before the fall of man, Adam and Eve enjoyed perfect communion with God and with each other. As a part of this perfect communion with God, they saw him clearly as he had revealed himself in creation. But because of their wicked desires and actions, they “did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened” (Rom. 1:21). In other words, when Adam and Eve fell, their fall involved more than the loss of original righteousness; it also involved the corruption of their whole nature, including their understanding. Because this is my Fathers world, and continues to be after the Fall, the objective validity of Gods witness to himself in creation remains, but unregenerate man cannot and will not recognize it.
144  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you eat a human? on: November 05, 2017, 10:02:42 PM
Eating human flesh comes with several health risks, including the development of prion disease, and potentially death Many of us have had moments of desperation where we'd eat anything to satisfy our hunger. However, when it comes to survival, would we eat meat? Human meat? If we were starving. People who eat people with a type of prion disease, a category of illness that also includes Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease in humans and Mad Cow Disease in animals, tend to have brains that look like sponges and neurological damage that takes away control over the body
145  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Real friends. on: November 05, 2017, 09:46:48 PM
If you're good friends with someone, you'll remain friends with them, regardless of what your plans are. Hanging out together should be enough of a reason to have a good time, and being together should be its own reward. How does your friend react if you decide to change plans? If you were planning on heading out for the night, see if your friend would rather stay home and watch a movie by their self.

If a friend declines your request, that doesn't automatically mean that you lost a friendship, but the way they react can tell you a lot about them. Does your friend react as if your plan is the lamest idea ever? That's a bad sign. Does your friend legitimately want to go to a movie and be a homebody
146  Other / Politics & Society / Re: God on: November 05, 2017, 06:33:57 AM
God is most often held to be incorporeal immaterial and to be without gender, although many religions describe God using masculine terminology, using such terms as "Him" or "Father" and some religions such as Judaism attribute only a purely grammatical "gender" to God. Incorporeity and corporeity of God are related to conceptions of transcendence being outside nature and immanence being in nature, in the world of God
147  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: November 05, 2017, 06:19:42 AM
In some countries Rapists punishment is by sentenced to death, sometimes by hanging but sometimes allegedly also by stoning, which is a gruesome method to go. Sadly enough however, the culture here also ends up victimising the person who was raped.
148  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the Meaning of Sin? on: November 05, 2017, 06:10:02 AM
Sin is doing what is wrong or not doing what is right according to God's rules (1 John 3:4). If God says "Do not lie" and you lie, then you have sinned. If God says "Do not steal" and you steal, then you have sinned. According to God, sin separates you from Him (Isaiah 59:2)
149  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Women and Men, are they same? on: November 05, 2017, 05:56:04 AM
No, men and women are not same because if come to human brain Men's brains tend to perform tasks predominantly on the left-side, which is the logical/rational side of the brain. Women, on the other hand, use both sides of their brains because a woman's brain has a larger Corpus Callosum, which means women can transfer data between the right and left hemispheres faster than men

151  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate christians? on: November 02, 2017, 12:07:24 AM
No I do not hate Christians i love Christians because God designed and made us. Not only that, but He made us in His image - that is, able to think and feel, understand and love and take responsibility, just as He does. The Bible tells us that when God designed and created the world, He said,
"Let us make man in our image, after our likeness". (Genesis 1:26)
That's a great honour!

155  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you have a gun? on: November 01, 2017, 10:52:49 PM
yes i have a gun because a Weapons like a gun have many pieces that have to be regularly maintained. You need to have training into how to take care of your gun. This doesn't have to be in depth, but a person does have to research the information of the weapon. They have to know how to adjust the sights and zero their rifles. They need to know how to disassemble and clean their bolt or inspect their firing pins for imperfections
156  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Online Dating on: October 29, 2017, 09:05:38 PM
Online dating services allow users to become "members" by creating a profile and uploading personal information including (but not limited to) age, gender, sexual orientation, location, and appearance. Most services also encourage members to add photos or videos to their profile. Once a profile has been created, members can view the profiles of other members of the service, using the visible profile information to decide whether or not to initiate contact. Most services offer digital messaging, while others provide additional services such as webcasts, online chat, telephone chat (VOIP), and message boards. Members can constrain their interactions to the online space, or they can arrange a date to meet in person.
157  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When will Religions die? on: October 29, 2017, 08:44:06 PM
People have always believed in God and they always will, because we are made to search for God and God seeks us out during our lifetimes. Societies go through stages where religious beliefs are more and less prevalent but it will never die because God is real. And 100 percent of the world agrees with that statement.

159  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money can buy happiness? on: October 29, 2017, 07:33:37 PM
Money is important to happiness. Ask anyone who doesn’t have it. Having a higher income, for example, can give us access to homes in safer neighborhoods, better health care and nutrition, fulfilling work, and more leisure time. However, this only works up to a certain point. Once our income reaches a certain level and our basic needs for food, health care, safety, and shelter are met, the positive effects of money such as buying your dream home are often offset by the negative effects such as working longer hours, or in more stressful jobs, to maintain that income.
160  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money can buy happiness? on: October 29, 2017, 07:25:57 PM
yes money cannot buy happiness, but it depends what you spend it on, and how you spend it
