I'm interested in setting up a P2Pool for AIRcoin. Does anyone know what needs to be done to the current p2pool to allow this?

Just providing another option for Canadian miners looking for closer P2Pools!
Feel free to message me for advice on tuning cards for P2Pool or in general. I'm currently running 25Mhash so I've seen it all.

I've been wondering how the non Ti edition performed. At 240khash I'd be willing to pick one up and see how high it can go. I'll post when I get one this weekend.

LOL i made yesterday night a buy at 60 satoshi to resell at 135 satoshi. I have waked up and all coins used to trade were sold. Now i am setting up a rebuy order  Smiley

What the hell trippled the price today at mintpal? People waked up?

It's Wolong. He has had hundreds of millions of PANDA which he dumped so he's the cause behind the large amounts of volume in all of MintPal's markets

Managed to get my P2Pool online with the help of HollowStorm and Dotabeard. Thanks again guys!

It's hosted in Hamilton, Ontario. Trying to give another option for P2Pool miners in Canada

Updated to Digishield 2.0 also
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 27, 2014, 02:38:31 AM
Has anyone tried out the GTX 750 (Non Ti)? They are selling for as low as $120 and would be viable if they didn't perform much worse than the 750Ti since they're approaching $179 here in Canada

I have a friend trying to set up a P2Pool. He's running into 11Db Exception Cannot allocate memory digibyte in ProcessMessages() when syncing the Digibyte blockchain? Has anyone had this issue?
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★ DigiByte ★★ [DGB] A Professional Cryptocurrency ✈ Android Wallet, CoinedUp ✔ on: February 23, 2014, 05:11:04 PM
Was planning on joining your pool since Montreal was closer but I need something 100% stable. Let me know when you work out the issues.

In the process of pointing 25Mhash to the NY P2Pool node. The devs have proven themselves with this upcoming update and I'll be dedicating my miners to the network
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★ DigiByte ★★ [DGB] A Professional Cryptocurrency ✈ Android Wallet, CoinedUp ✔ on: February 21, 2014, 09:28:03 PM
Was hoping for that difficulty adjustment to come in a bit earlier. Multipools are really messing with the difficulty now
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★ DigiByte ★★ [DGB] A Professional Cryptocurrency ✈ Android Wallet, CoinedUp ✔ on: February 21, 2014, 12:48:16 AM
When do you guys think DGB is going to come out of this slump?
It's at 67 satoshis as of writing this comment.

No worries, just multipool using the weakness of the retargeting time for difficulty.

Here is what devs said for friday:

"Update will be released around 7PM UTC time this Friday. (2PM Eastern / 11AM Pacific)
Here is what we would like to accomplish with the upcoming update:

1) Change block difficulty re-target to 1 minute to resist multi-pool mining & dumps to help steadily build the price.
2) Add transaction message support.
3) Update to latest version of Bitcoin/Litecoin client.
4) Reduce the block reward by 0.5% every 7 days starting at 8000 DGB."

UPDATE IN 19h

I'll be buying to help get the price going over the next 48H. Made a good amount mining and dumping Pandacoin.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Vertcoin-Adaptive N-factor Scrypt-No more ASICs-[EXCHANGES/AMAZON/ATM/MERCHANTS] on: February 20, 2014, 06:06:11 PM
Is it true that N-Factor scrypt uses less power than mining of regular scrypt?

Confirm. About 8-10% off electricity costs compared to ltc mining

Really? Might have to hook up my own kilowatt type meter later to check my own results. Pretty cool if so, wasn't aware of this at all.
I have checked mine closely in the last two months and the electrical consumption is directly related to the gpu temps no matter what I am mining.

Have you checked while mining Vertcoin? I've found that it also relates to GPU temps when mining scrypt coins, but there may be a difference because this is a different algorithm
