Dear players, we have just encountered a security breach.  About 2 BTC was stolen.  All player's account balances are safe.  We are crediting back all players within the next 45 minutes.

We wanted to keep the players safe, so the site is down for right now until we can resolve the issue.

Thank you!

Addictive Gaming is proud to announce our newest player vs. player version of Liar's Poker

Many of you may remember playing Liar's Poker with serial numbers from dollar bills or other currency.  Some of you may know this game called "Bullsh!t"

How it works?

- Liar's Poker is a 2 player game.
- You can either create a new game and wait for an opponent or join an existing game.
- Each game is played for a specific bet amount, selected by the game creator during the setup of the game.
- Each player receives 10 numbers from zero to nine and can only see his/her own numbers.
- Players bid against each other, until one player challenges.
- If the challenger was correct and that other player was lying, he/she wins the pot.
- If the challenger was not correct and the other player was telling the truth than he/she looses the pot.

Features

- High-grade Encryption 256 bit
- Provably Fair
- Player vs. Player
- Skill Game
- Play Anonymous or Registered
- Separate Hi-Lo Mini Game (if you wish to take a break from the main game or while you wait for you opponent to deposit more BTC after wiping them out)

148  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Playstation 4 Hashing Power for Bitcoin Litecoin etc ??? on: July 10, 2013, 04:18:40 AM
The new Mac Pro may be a good miner. With dual ATI and 7TerraHash, Tim even said it supports openCL, maybe apple is secretly mining. The difficulty rate has nothing to do with ASICs, it's Johhny!

You said the following "The difficulty rate has nothing to do with ASICs"

Would you mind explaining that to me? I am newer to the whole mining field and wasn't sure how to take that? Does that mean that the technology behind ASIC's mining units are not as effected by the block difficulties and if so why not?

Thank you!

did you get my response? I wanted to know more but you never replied.  Cry   Huh
151  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hong Kong and bitcoins on: May 28, 2013, 10:37:07 PM
Hong Kong is the most capitalist territory in the world, so where are all the bitcoiners here? Why is there no HKD-dedicated exchange? Or a way to buy BTC with funds from an HKD bank account (which anyone in the world can open)? Unless I'm missing something...

Get in touch if you also think Hong Kong can be a bitcoin powerhouse.

Just a quick question. When you said "HKD bank account which anyone in the world can open" would you mind sending me a link or two of how an American citizen who has never been to Hong Kong can open a HKD bank account without having to go there?

I know in certain major cities like New York and San Francisco you can go into certain banks and buy accounts in other denominations but I have not been able to get past the $5,000 minimum they want to open that account, plus it was like a CD not really an active account.

Thanks  Grin

What are you doing the moment you register to this forum?

Do you instantly make a 5 post within minutes?

Do you lurk around the site doing nothing like a zombie until you reached the 4 hrs quotation?'

Or you keep babbling some random unnecessary post?

Please. Do share  Grin

We really enjoy this site so far so it was not hard to find a lot of neat topics covering the Bitcoin community. I am still working on our four noobie hours but it has not been anything short of educational and inviting. I feel I already know so much more about Bitcoin opportunities available.  Grin

Now off to see what I can learn about the lowest cost way to mine Litecoin without having to spend $1500 on an asci miner from Avalon or Butterfly labs. Makes no sense if my electric bill is higher then the profits lol. Time to get my learn on!
153  Other / Beginners & Help / 4 Hour Requirement for noobies on: May 28, 2013, 10:29:19 PM
Both counts as a post. Starting a new thread is making a post as well as replying in any other thread is a post.

So to answer what I think you really want to know: No, you do not need to make five new topics. You might aswell just reply in 5 topics.

What probably keeps you longer in the newbie area than gettuing 5 posts is the requirement of being logged in for 4 hours, because the logged in time only increases while you are active. Just keeping a browser tab witrh the forum opened in the background will not help you get 4 hours of being logged in.

So to clarify being in the forum for 4 hours actively as in, not just leaving your browser open while on the forum. Does this mean that you need to be clicking on  links or scrolling through posts for it to count as active time? I had it open for an hour while I was reading a post that was in depth. I was multi tasking and looking up a few of the things mentioned in the post elsewhere and when I came back to the forum and looked it said I had only 39 minutes so it apparently did not count my full hour +.

Is this because I was not moving? Thanks for the info, much appreciated!

Hi,

Was wondering, there is a way to know for sure that a transaction will not have a transaction fee?

I Mean, for values higher than 0.01 and regardless of the client settings (which i can't set)

regards

In most wallets, you can set your transaction fee to whatever amount that you wish.

156  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Day Trading Tool on: May 28, 2013, 09:07:45 PM
Hello there,

I have started to develop a simple webapplication for myself, which shows bitcoin exchange rates and bitcoin related news to help making my day-trading decisions.
I am opening it to public so anyone can use it and help improve it.

Features:
-3 biggest bitcoin merchant LIVE prices
-it refreshes the prices LIVE through websockets, so you don't need to refresh the page to get the most-up-to-date data.
-price history, prices are recorded since the first launch of the system (may 5)
-news aggregated from 3 different sites with direct links (more to come)
-shows bitcoin related tweets
-live MtGox dashboard

Planned features:
-price alerts (either sound alerts when the site is open or email alerts when it's not)

So please check it out and post any ideas about the tool here.

You can check it out on:
http://bitcoin.stoto.net/

Screenshots:

How about a tool that gets live feeds from the exchanges and shows potential arbitrage opportunities between the exchanges?
157  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Still money in mining on: May 28, 2013, 09:03:04 AM
5ghz mining machines but not sure if I want to drop $250 into it.

Which 5Hgz mining machines are you looking at?

edit: There is also Terrahash for those that can only find Avalon and Butterfly labs, but I'd stay away from butterfly labs. Avalon is a lot more trustworthy imo.

Hello. Why would you prefer Avalon Systems over Butterfly Labs. We have been looking into Butterfly Labs products and would love to learn more about the differences between each.

-Quality
-Speeds
-Advantages one may have over the other
-Power consumption

Thank you!
