I tried again to download boolberry for windows and I followed the link posted to the download.
A popup box tells me:
'The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running. contact the software publisher'
and it said some crud about 32 or 64 bit.
Bottom line is, it wasted my time again, and the program isn't working.
All the available clients are for 64bit OSes

I think you waste my time
the program for windows isn't working
and likely you are premining it, and dont want more people mining the coin
and that is why the program isn't working,
and you dont care if you waste my time, so #@$#%@#@#$%
Yes I'm premining boolberry. My mining facility is hashing at 4.2 GHash/s drawing only 200 watts of electricity. WTB your mining facility, PST. Haha I wish that was true.

@crypto_zoidberg, just want to point out a url syntax error for the link to extremepool in the OP on page 1.

Thank you I have downloaded gpu miner only thing missing is readme.txt explaining how to make bat file.......I'm an incompetent newbie Sorry for being so painful It must be difficult dealing with people like me with limited / no ability Solo Mining boolbd.exe --start-mining=[Your Boolberry address] --mining-threads=[No of GPUs] Pool Mining simpleminer.exe --pool-addr [Pool address] --login [Your Boolberry address] --pass x --mining-threads [No of GPUs] ** SimpleMiner doesn't support stratum protocol so you need to connect to correct mining port.

Hi @crypto_zoidberg, there has been optimized updates for the cpuminer(stratum) lately, could you compile and update the miner for windows too?
I've talked with Wolfy, he said to me that windows build is not problem for him, so i expect he gonna make build in next hours. If not - i'll do it this night. Thanks.

I'm connected to port 7777 and current difficulty for my miner now is 16384.
|
|
|
I think the variable difficulty has gotten ridiculous, I'm getting 16.3k difficulty for my 800k/hash gridseed miners. How to mine anything?

Given ExtremePool is the only working pool for Boolberry, I'm assuming others are also experiencing errors with simpleminer submitting shares. Is this a pool issue or a miner issue? I get the errors on port 5555 and 7777 all the same. I'm currently still mining on port 7777 with no issues.
|
|
|
Is there any faster simpleminer windows build out there? Can't get any block solo or on extremepool.
|
|
|
there is only two pools working about 30m hash ,but the net total hash is over 2g hash ,very confused。
Majority are solo-mining.
|
|
|
So disappointing, just started mining with this pool and everything is down.

Okay, let me put it a different way....
-f, --gc3355-freq=DEV0:F0,DEV1:F1,...,DEVn:Fn
Okay, so since it seems that I cannot use com in the command line to identify which DEV (device) I want to set to fixed freq (F), how do I find out what the DEVice number of each pod is? There has to be a command for that, right?
All I need then it to find that out and I think I'll be good to go.
Anyone?
Try using a json file, example create a file called "gridseed.json". Use sample below for a start: { "gc3355" : [ "\\\\.\\COM2", "\\\\.\\COM4", "\\\\.\\COM5", "\\\\.\\COM6" ], "gc3355-freq" : [ "\\\\.\\COM2:875:0", "\\\\.\\COM2:875:1", "\\\\.\\COM2:850:2", "\\\\.\\COM2:850:3", "\\\\.\\COM2:850:4", "\\\\.\\COM4:875:0", "\\\\.\\COM4:875:1", "\\\\.\\COM4:875:2", "\\\\.\\COM4:850:3", "\\\\.\\COM4:850:4" "\\\\.\\COM5:875:0", "\\\\.\\COM5:875:1", "\\\\.\\COM5:850:2", "\\\\.\\COM5:850:3", "\\\\.\\COM5:850:4", "\\\\.\\COM6:875:0", "\\\\.\\COM6:875:1", "\\\\.\\COM6:875:2", "\\\\.\\COM6:850:3", "\\\\.\\COM6:850:4" ], "pools" : [ { "url" : "stratum+tcp://Main_Mining_Pool_URL", "user" : "USER_ID", "pass" : "PASSWORD" }, { "url" : "stratum+tcp://Failover_Pool", "user" : "USER_ID", "pass" : "PASSWORD" } ] }
Above configuration is for after you've done autotuning. Replace the frequency for each individual chip. When running the cpuminer, GSD 0 > COM2, GSD 1 > COM4... and so on. To run with json file, execute: minerd-gc3355.exe -c gridseed.json
