I have now heard a lot of people talking about they are waiting for bitcoin to drop, so that they can buy bitcoin. But these guys might have said that since 6k$ and are still waiting. What do you tell those people, to try and make them understand that waiting for a drop can cost them huge percentage gains?
Waiting is only good if you will surely earn a huge amount of profit and in cryptocurrency bitcoins and ethereum is the only coin that has the assurance to grow and will be really good for long term investment because of their popularity. |

I think that it was really strange that in January when BTC went down all big cryptocurrency exchanges closed registration for new members and they opened it only when the price was low. Then at spring when the downtrend was broken(7000$) there were many news that cryptocurrency now will go up! But whales just made big shorts at 10 000 $and all the news said that cryptocurrency won't go up for along time and market went down to current position.
In my own opinion, the market prices can never be manipulated because the price of cryptocurrency is always depending on supply and demand so keep on holding your coins today to earn more profit in the future. |

Im a newbie both in this forum and the cryptocurrency subject, so I had been reading a lot and studying in the last couple weeks.But I still have some doubts. I always see people saying that there is a bubble in the bitcoin market and that there are many people who own big ammounts of bitcoins and can manipulate the market, so i dont know if now its a good time for a person who doesnt own any bitcoins yet to start buying then (i planned to hold them for a long time, not trading beetwenn exchanges) or if i should wait more. I also see fear about corrections and dont know well how those work and if they have an specific time to happen. Anyway, sorry for my bad english and thank you for the replies, even though I know im te only one responsable for my money.

Most of the cryptocurrency analyst are expecting for the price of bitcoins to surpass $20k dollars because most of the countries today are already legalized to invest on bitcoins. |

Hello. I started trading a few weeks ago and i lost about 80% of what i invested (I invested in TRON, Ripple and Cardano). I started with 100 dollars and now i only have 22 to invest. I know its very little but im from Portugal  and don't have more money to invest. Can someone please give me some insights or strategies? A trader should know how to deal with stress but there is no way you can totally get rid of it especially if you are a trader. The crypto makes people age faster  Being stress is just normal for a traders if he is holding a huge amount of coins, because your profit will always depends on how much capital you use so being stressed because of risk is normal. |

Obviously, I need BTC to get in but it seems like everything is high right now. Should I wait till BTC is < 2k? Or ETH < 200? I'd like to get in and start trading alt coins. But for me to maximize my profits in USD I need to wait till BTC is at a reasonable cost. Or do you guys see it climbing to 3k in the next couple of months?
Getting into trading is not that easy, you need to study the market before investing or joining the cryptocurrency industry and volatility is the reason why the market price today is dumping, you need to study every terminology before joining this industry. |

Actually, it is not very few number of noobs in cryptocurrency business that comprehend the level at which patience is required and important in the business. It may be a cliché, but there is truth behind the line “Patience is the virtue”, especially in business. Running a business is not for the faint of heart, and not for the impatient either. Even if you have a great product or service, great process, and great employees, your business will require you to stay committed for the long-term. I got a few coins couple of weeks back, which I chose to hold while it was plunging however I continue holding with zero dread and just absolute patience. My advice to my colleagues is all you need is buy into coins with good potential like bitcoin and relax even while it’s at dip. Presently, i’m In over 30% profit in all.
In the tough times like what i happening right now, the patience all that matters because most of the people who lost their profit are just investors who are not well knowledgeable about how the market works. |

I bought some bitcoin in March 2017, sell half of it in Dec 2017 and hodl the other half since then. The current downward trend seem to last for a very long time and I'm quite upset about it. What do you guys think? Should I hodl or sell all my BTC now?

I read recently on Bloomberg that the Justice Department has opened a criminal probe into whether traders are manipulating the price of Bitcoin and other digital currencies, dramatically ratcheting up U.S. scrutiny of red-hot markets that critics say are rife with misconduct, according to four people familiar with the matter. According to the report, investigators are specifically looking into practices like spoofing (filling the marketplace with fake orders that are later canceled to manipulate others to buy or sell a particular coin) and wash trading (trading with oneself in order to falsely imply more market demand than there actually is). There are forms of cheating that have long existed and been battled in more traditional financial markets, but cryptocurrency’s lack of serious regulation or monitoring may have given these old scams a new place to thrive. What do you say about this guys? Let's hope that these allegations of bitcoin price manipulation will contribute to the long-term health of the cryptocurrency market, which is really important. In my own opinion, there is no price manipulations in the market coming from government or any country but speculations and news that are being released by media's can actually affect the market prices today. |

Is it possible for the Bitcoin community to witness another bearish that can make bitcoin drop to $5,000 and below.

In my own opinion, there is no way for bitcoins to go down again below $5k dollars because there are too many investors in the market now a days and most of them are still holding their coins. |

Other altcoins gain dominance.
What do you think? It will correct like last year? I think we're going to have a big correction next days in altcoins price and market cap caused by an increase in btc price. But It will only recover 10-15% of dominance, not all.
The bitcoin dominance today is slowly depreciating but it does not really matter because you can invest while market price is still low, taking advantage today of the current state in the market will make you earn more profit in the future. |

By the most logical thinking: • There's strong evidence that the late 2017 spike in Bitcoin value was due to manipulation via Tether. • IF that is so, then that entire episode actually means nothing, and... • Bitcoin etc values will decay back to their historical levels prior to pump & dump. • This will be slow because interim buyers won't want to take the losses. Look at BC charts for the past 6 months. It's very easy to imagine the average value continuing to decay down to $400 in 12-18 months. And that's what makes sense - at least, more sense than anything else. A few brilliant traders will make money getting in and out during the decline, but all the other players here are just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. The only "charting" you need is the big picture here: https://imgur.com/a/QTYOQyLUnfortunately, there seems to be no reliable way to buy a put on BC for that time-frame, or I would. In my own opinion, the future of bitcoins is not down because there are a lot of people today who are invest on different cryptocurrency such as ICO and the market prices has a certain date which is pumping so keep on holding your coins. |

Are we going to panic? Are we going to be scared? Are we going to seek answers that nobody can answer? If you are reading this thread, then you want some clarifications.
Of what? You want to feel relieved? No one can be sure as to when the price will go up again. But hey, we have been supporting bitcoin for a long time, right? Then why do we not support it in its downs? Why do we not be positive and optimistic? Why do we not spread positive vibes so people can be at ease and do another activity? Why do we always stressing ourselves with checking the price everyday? If we cannot support Bitcoin in its down, then why we support it in its ups?
Good people, let us stop getting frightened about this fall. If you truly believe in Bitcoin, then the price surely will go up. It is just a matter of patience.
The best thing to do in this times is just to hold your coins because spending it right now or selling it will just make you lose a huge amount of your investments. |

Bitcoin might grow up from $6k dollars because it already stacked from $6k for about a month and i think that most of the investors are just waiting for the price of bitcoins to go deeper before investing a huge amount. |
